Abstract

The Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDES) Lestari Jaya was established on January 15, 2016. At that time this BUMDES was first established in the Sorong Regency, precisely in Walal Village, Salawati District, Sorong Regency, West Papua. At that time, BUMDES Lestari Jaya had not yet developed and was still in the capital search stage for the formation of business units that are currently being run. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data used are primary and secondary data. Then the data obtained from the results of observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. With the population managing BUMDES Lestari Jaya, Village Government Officials, and the community totaling 10 respondents. The results of the study revealed that the role of BUMDES Lestari Jaya in Improving People's Economic Activities This Islamic Economic Perspective has a very positive impact on the people of Kampung Walal. This can be seen from the increase in community activities in their economic activities such as agricultural activities, trade and savings and loans provided by BUMDES Lestari Jaya. Besides that, BUMDES is also able to provide Village Original Income (PAD). To carry out all activities in the walal village in accordance with sharia principles without any coercion and burdening any party.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of Islamic business ethics in the wood furniture business. Study on Wood Furniture Unit 1 Aimas, Sorong Regency, the purpose of this study is to find out how the application of Islamic business ethics in the wood furniture business. Qualitative descriptive research is intended to obtain a good, clear picture and can provide data as accurately as possible about the object under study. Furthermore, the data collection methods in this study used field observations, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques are carried out in three ways or stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. After the researchers conducted data analysis, it was found that in the application of Islamic business ethics in the wood furniture business, the Study on Wood Furniture Unit 1 Aimas, Sorong Regency has implemented Islamic business ethics in its business such as being honest in measurements, selling good quality goods, prohibited from using oaths, loose and generous, build good relations, orderly administration, and set prices transparently. Of the three furniture, the one that applies the most Islamic business ethics is Niqayah wood furniture where almost all of the indicators that exist he always gives the best and in accordance with his Islamic business ethics, while the Pangestu wood furniture and Rahayu wood furniture both do not apply Islamic business ethics to them. administrative order because these two furnitures do not record in the event of accounts payable, these two pieces of furniture only record for proof of payment notes that will be given to the customer. However, other Islamic business ethics have been applied in these three furniture well. The buyers are also satisfied because they get a price that is not too expensive and the goods ordered are according to their wishes and get good quality.

Abstract

Kemunculan COVID-19 meyebabkan melonjaknya pemutusan hubungan kerja, serta lockdown wilayah. Sehingga banyak masyarakat yang beralih keranah usaha mandiri. Namun, bagaimana dengan modal dan penunjang yang diperlukan oleh masyarakat dalam mendirikan usahanya? Dari problematika ini lahirlah program-program yang mendukung masyarakat dalam mendapatkan modal usaha yang dilakukan oleh NU CARE-LAZISNU Kabupaten Sorong. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil skor faktor strength adalah 2,2, dan weakness sebesar 1,30, opportunity dengan skor 1,59 dan skor threat 1,75. Berdasarkan hasil uji efektivitas diperoleh hasil bahwa program Bantuan UMKM di NU CARE-LAZISNU Kabupaten Sorong efektif. Dilihat dari skor faktor positif lebih besar 0,75 dari faktor negatif, namun selisih ini masih terlalu kecil jika mengingat Attractiveness Score-TAS yang mana nilai terendah adalah 1 dengan keterangan tidak kuat. Sehingga perlu menyusun strategi yang lebih baik, dalam tahap The matching Stage diketahui hasil skor tertinggi jatuh pada kolom strategi ST (Strenght-Threat) dengan total 3,95. Sehingga strategi yang digunakan adalah dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan internal (S) yang ada meminimalisir problematika eksternal yang menjadi ancaman (T). Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fundraising activities on muzakki's interest in paying zakat in Baznas, Sorong Regency. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The population in this study was muzakki who paid zakat in BAZNAS Sorong Regency, especially Malawili village, as many as 124 muzzaki. However, this study was only carried out on 55 muzakki as samples in the study. Data analysis was carried out using the help of SPSS 28. To achieve the objectives of this study, research instrument tests (validity test and reliability test), normality, linearity, classical assumption test, simple linear regression, t test hypothesis test and determination coefficient test are used. In accordance with the significance test criteria on the linearity test, f calculates > f table, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In addition, the same result was also obtained after conducting a t-test which said that t table = 2.005 < t count = 3.379, then it means that H0 is rejected. Thus, this hypothesis states that fundraising activities on muzakki's interest in paying zakat in BAZNAS Sorong Regency have a positive effect on muzakki's interest in paying zakat in BAZNAS Sorong Regency. From the results of the presentation above, it has a positive influence on muzakki and mustahik. The positive influence for muzakki is that there is an official, trustworthy, and trustworthy amil zakat institution. Meanwhile, it has a positive effect on mustahik in the form of welfare of the poor.

Abstract

In maintaining credit problems that arise, it is carried out by carrying out SOPs in accordance with company regulations including financing analysis, handling accounts receivable (receivables), monitoring arrears to Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and solutions in reducing financing problems (bad credit). In this study, the authors discuss the problems, namely the level of bad loans in the form of credit quality in late payment of installment obligations to financing performance assessments in the form of NPF, handling finance companies on the quality of credit given to debtors related to Islamic financing. It can be seen that the level of non-performing financing (bad loans in the category of non-performing financing is quite high and quite high risk with a value above 5%). The need to re-conduct some considerations in the development of financing for four-wheeled vehicles (cars) in sharia financing, the use of Murabahah contracts and recommendations for implementation without late fees for customers who are in arrears until final handling with POJK Number 10/POJK.05/2019 concerning the implementation of finance company business sharia and sharia business units of finance companies and DSN Fatwa Number 111/DSN-MUI/IX/2017 concerning murabahah contracts.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is whether the knowledge and awareness of muzakki affect the decision to pay zakat at BAZNAS, Sorong Regency. This study aims: 1) To determine the effect of muzakki knowledge on the decision to pay zakat in BAZNAS, Sorong Regency. 2) To determine the effect of muzakki awareness on the decision to pay zakat in BAZNAS, Sorong Regency. 3) To determine the effect of knowledge and awareness of muzakki on the decision to pay zakat in BAZNAS, Sorong Regency. The type of research used is a type of quantitative research whose results are calculated using analysis techniques and classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS version 28. The approach used is a correlation approach. The sample used is 54 respondents who have paid zakat at BAZNAS Sorong Regency using a questionnaire (quisionery). Based on the results of the study, it shows that knowledge and awareness of muzakki have a positive and significant effect on the decision to pay zakat in BAZNAS, Sorong Regency. The most influential and significant variable is seen from the value of the coefficient of partial determination, namely the muzakki awareness factor. Knowledge and awareness of muzakki influence the decision to pay zakat at BAZNAS, Sorong Regency. The contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable is 0.504 or 50.4%. The implication of this research for BAZNAS Sorong Regency is to make activities or socialization related to zakat and BAZNAS institutions so that the public knows about BAZNAS so they can decide to pay zakat at BAZNAS Sorong Regency.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the economy. One of the ways that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) do to improve their economy is by seeking capital loans for their businesses. The role of financial institutions is needed in this regard. Capital loans can be obtained by MSME actors through microfinance institutions which are now growing rapidly in Indonesia. one of them is through BMT which provides financing and assistance to MSME customers. The results in this study indicate that the financing for MSMEs in BMT Al-Hijrah includes mudharabah, musyarakah, murabahah, and ijarah financing. As for the role of BMT Al-Hijrah during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely, financing carried out by BMT Al-Hijrah, providing relief from delays in payment of financing customer deposits, and distributing business capital assistance from the West Papua Cooperatives and SMEs Service. Judging from the contribution of these roles, the benefits felt by BMT Al-Hijrah MSME customers are for additional capital, increasing the procurement of merchandise, and improving business premises, and the funds obtained are also for living necessities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or social and environmental responsibility is an effort made by companies or the business world to contribute to sustainable economic development by paying attention to social responsibility based on a balance of economic, social and environmental values. However, in practice, many CSR programs that have been provided are still not running as expected due to the lack of participation or support from the community in managing so that the program becomes useless because it is not sustainable. This study aims to find out the problems of using PT Pertamina's CSR program in the Klayas Village community. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach. Problems or problems regarding the termination of the CSR program of PT. Pertamina is caused by the inability of the community to manage and utilize the program. The lack of knowledge and the lack of income obtained from the program make people less interested in the programs provided. So that leaves only a few members who persist in managing it

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the facts in the field to determine the effectiveness of the distribution of zakat funds and also how the distribution of zakat funds in Baznas, sorong regency. The method used is a qualitative method. The data collection in this study using direct interviews with related parties Baznas Sorong Regency end also the recipients of productive zakat. The second is by means of documentation techniques in the from of financial statements in 2021. The research result obtained that zakat is productive in improving the economy of. It is appropriate that productive zakat is zakat given to sameone who is used as working capital. The from of distribution in Baznas Sorong Regency is the productive zakat program in the from of individual capital business assitence. Secondly, the effectiveness of productive zakat in improving economy during the covid-19 pandemic with the zakat core priinciples (ZCP) approach, there are two categories, namely the calculation of disbursement collection ratio (DRC) and the speed of time. The calculation according to the DRC in 2021 is 73% so that is included in the effective DRC category. The speed off time in the productive program, the time required at the time of distribution is 7 month. It can be concluded that the national amil zakat agency (Baznas) of sorong regency has distributed effectively in 2021 both in terms of the DRC ratio with the effective category and the speed of distribution time in the category

Abstract

The main problem of this research is how the motivation of hypocrites affects the interest in giving in the infaq can care program BAZNAS Sorong district. This study aims:1) To find out what is the motivation for the interest of hypocrites in giving infaq in the infaq can program of BAZNAS Sorong Regency. 2) To find out whether there are opportunities and challenges from the implementation of the BAZNAS infaq program in Sorong Regency. The approach used is a quantitative research approach whose results are calculated using analysis techniques and classical assumption tests, simple linear regression and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS V.28, the type of research used is descriptive correlation research. The sample used was 34 respondents who were selected through the census sample technique or saturated sample. Based on the results of the study, it showed that motivation had a significant positive effect on the interest in donating in the infaq can program of BAZNAS, Sorong Regency. The magnitude of the contribution of the independent variable or motivation is 0.116 or 11.6%. The implication of this research is for BAZNAS Sorong Regency to continue to pay attention to things that affect the motivation to donate in the ongoing BAZNAS infaq can program.
