Abstract

This study examines how the implementation of the Student Council Program enhances students' sense of responsibility and cooperation at SMA Negeri 1 Bandar, Simalungun Regency. This research is a qualitative study with a natural observation research design. This study used research data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through triangulation, and qualitative data analysis was used to analyze the data, which involved data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study indicate that the planning of the Student Council program has been running well in accordance with the plan formulated through the Student Council work meeting. Student Council programs play an important role in shaping student character, particularly in terms of responsibility and cooperation. Further findings in this study indicate that the implementation of the Student Council (OSIS) program at this school is proceeding quite well. This is evident in the implementation of various OSIS activities planned through work meetings, then implemented in concrete activities such as national holiday commemorations, religious activities, inter-class competitions, community service, and other activities involving the entire school community. Despite obstacles in program implementation, the OSIS administrators demonstrated a fairly good sense of responsibility. Overall, however, the students' sense of responsibility is evident in their commitment to completing the planned work program. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the OSIS program in enhancing students' sense of responsibility and cooperation at SMA Negeri 1 Bandar has been very effective in fostering a sense of responsibility and cooperation. Students who are active in OSIS activities show improvements in leadership aspects such as decision-making skills, responsibility, teamwork, communication skills, self-control, and motivation.

Abstract

This study examines how the implementation of scouting activities in forming student leadership character at YPTI Lubuk Cemara IT Private Junior High School. This study is a qualitative study with a natural observation research design. This study uses research data acquisition techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data is ensured through triangulation and qualitative data analysis is used to analyze the data, which involves data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The findings in this study indicate that the planning of scouting activities to form leadership character must begin with formulating a clear and structured curriculum, so that the implementation process in schools can run very well and the results of the process can be seen, one of which is the character of student leadership. Further findings in this study indicate that the obstacles faced are inseparable from the motivation and support of various parties, such as support from teachers and especially the lack of support from parents and the next obstacle faced is the lack of facilities and infrastructure. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of scouting activities in forming the character of student leadership at SMP Swasta IT YPTI Lubuk Cemara has been quite effective in fostering student leadership skills. Students who are active in Scouting activities show improvements in leadership aspects such as decision-making skills, responsibility, teamwork, communication skills, self-control, motivational skills.

Abstract

This study explores the multifaceted relationship between school principal leadership and school quality improvement at SMP integrated Islam Islamic Tarbiyah Education Foundation Lubuk Cemara School.  Employing a phenomenological approach, this research investigates the lived experiences of teachers and staff to understand how the principal’s leadership style, particularly as it relates to fostering a positive work culture, impacts various aspects of school quality. Data was collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews and document analysis, focusing on themes related to leadership practices, teacher morale, instructional strategies, and student outcomes.  The findings reveal nuanced insights into the ways in which the principal’s leadership, both directly and indirectly, shapes the school environment and contributes to overall school effectiveness.  The study contributes to a richer understanding of the complex interplay between leadership, work culture, and school quality, offering valuable implications for school improvement initiatives at SMP integrated Islam Islamic Tarbiyah Education Foundation Lubuk Cemara School  and similar institutions

Abstract

This This research aims to analyze the leadership strategies of the principal in improving the quality of Tahfizh learning at SD Swasta Muhammadiyah 38 Medan Krio, as well as the obstacles faced in its management. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The obtained data were analyzed using thematic data analysis to identify key patterns from interviews and observations, and to categorize findings according to the research objectives. Based on the research results, the principal’s leadership strategies to enhance Tahfizh learning quality are carried out through democratic, participative, and transformative approaches. The principal actively serves as an educator, leader, innovator, and motivator by designing various programs, such as teacher training, daily muraja’ah and ziyadah routines, integration of Qur’anic values into general subjects, and utilization of digital technology as a learning medium. These strategies have proven successful in creating a learning ecosystem that not only improves students’ memorization achievements but also holistically shapes their Qur’anic character. However, in implementation, several obstacles are faced by the principal, namely limited pedagogical competence of teachers, challenges in facilities and supporting devices, inconsistency in students’ memorization, as well as psychological pressures and external disturbances such as gadget use. These obstacles require a collaborative solution-based approach between the school, teachers, and parents, as well as continuous training to improve teaching quality. In addition, strengthening a learning culture that supports spiritual development and students’ motivation needs to be carried out continuously to achieve optimal results in Tahfizh learning.

Abstract

This ex post facto quantitative research investigates the relationship and significant influence of the Constructivist Approach on the Physics Learning Interest of Grade XI students. The study is motivated by the consistent challenge of increasing student engagement and positive affective outcomes in complex Physics concepts. The population for this research consisted of 60 Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Secanggang. Saturated sampling was employed, resulting in all 60 students becoming the research sample. Data was collected using validated and highly reliable questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics and simple linear regression using SPSS 25.0. The descriptive analysis confirmed that both the implementation of the Constructivist Approach (Mean = 4.4167) and the students’ Physics Learning Interest (Mean = 4.3800) were categorized as very high. The hypothesis test (t-test) revealed a significant and positive influence of the Constructivist Approach on Physics Learning Interest (tcount=5.426, Sig.=0.000<0.05). The Coefficient of Determination (Adjusted R Square) was 0.418, indicating that the Constructivist Approach contributes 41.8% to the variation in student learning interest, with the remainder being explained by other factors. The findings support the notion that active and student-centered learning environments, characterized by project-based activities and reflective thinking, are crucial for fostering positive affective outcomes in Physics education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of MSME digital transformation on regional economic growth using secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the 2018–2023 period in five provinces in Indonesia. Digital transformation is measured through a digitalization index that includes the use of online platforms and social media, while regional economic growth is proxied by the growth rate of Regional Gross Domestic Product (RGDP), the contribution of MSMEs to RGDP, and employment. The analysis method used was panel data regression with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) approach and robust standard error to test the effect of digitalization variables on economic growth. The results showed that increased MSME digitalization had a significant and positive effect on regional GRDP growth, which was reinforced by the contribution of MSMEs to GRDP and employment. These findings imply that MSME digitalization plays a strategic role in strengthening regional competitiveness, creating jobs, and improving local economic resilience. Therefore, the government and stakeholders need to expand policy support, strengthen digital literacy, and build more inclusive technological infrastructure to accelerate the digital transformation of MSMEs throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

The management of crude oil into diesel in Wonocolo Village, Bojonegoro, is a traditional practice inherited from the Dutch colonial era, combining local wisdom with the community’s historical values. The background of this study arises from the need to understand how traditional oil processing practices impact the environment and how legal gaps affect the sustainability of these activities. This study aims to analyze diesel management in Wonocolo Village from the perspectives of local wisdom, environmental risks, and compliance with regulations, particularly Permen ESDM 2025. The method used is a qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with seven respondents, field observations of processing facilities, and document studies related to regulations and alternative fuels such as biofuel and green diesel. The results indicate that traditional practices remain effective in producing diesel with high community involvement, but pose significant environmental risks due to liquid and solid waste being discharged directly into soil and waterways. In addition, limited regulatory knowledge creates a legal grey area. This study emphasizes the need to integrate local wisdom, technological modernization, environmental education, and adaptive regulations to establish sustainable, safe, and legally compliant diesel management practices.

This paper details a robust system enabling real-time Speech-to-Text capabilities on Android devices, leveraging a Socket.IO-based server architecture to manage audio streams and integrate with advanced language models. This approach effectively addresses the inherent challenges of on-device processing, such as latency, power consumption, and computational overhead, by offloading the intensive Speech-to-Text and Natural Language Processing tasks to a scalable server infrastructure. This distributed processing paradigm ensures minimal resource drain on the client device while maximizing accuracy and responsiveness.

Abstract

This study analyzes strategies for strengthening religious moderation in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in Senior High Schools through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a qualitative thematic approach, identifying three main implementation strategies: integration of wasathiyah values in PAI curriculum development based on Minister of Religious Affairs Decree Number 183 of 2019 with emphasis on strengthening students' social attitude competencies, optimization of PAI teachers' roles as models through implementation of student-centered learning methods and utilization of educational technology, and strengthening students' religious literacy and critical thinking skills as strategies for addressing digital extremism, where the research concludes that such implementation plays a crucial role in shaping students who are religious, tolerant, character-driven, and able to adapt to global challenges through holistic synergy between curriculum policies, teacher capacity, and educational environment support.

Abstract

Students' interest in learning is very important in education, and mind mapping is an effective method of organizing information visually. This study aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the use of mind mapping on students' learning interest in social studies class VII at SMPN 6 Solok City. This type of research is quantitative with an associative approach, involving 64 students from grades VII.2 and VII.3 through total sampling techniques. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed by classical assumption tests, including normality, linearity, homocedasticity, and simple linear regression t-tests. The results of the study showed that the significant value of mind mapping was 0.000 < 0.05 and  6.532 while  1.669 was rejected, so it was  rejected and  accepted. This means that there is a positive and significant influence between the use of mind mapping on students' learning interests. About 40.8% of the variation in learning interests was explained by mind mapping, while 59.2% was influenced by other factors. The regression model was obtained with the formula: Y = 23.163(α) + 0.405(X), showing that an increase of 1 unit of mind mapping use increased students' learning interest by 0.405 points, assuming other factors were constant. Based on research, it can be concluded that the use of mind mapping has a positive influence on students' interest in learning. This method helps visualize information and increase participation. Students are advised to continue to develop skills in making mind mapping more interesting and easy to understand.
