Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of four 21st-century learning strategies, namely Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Collaborative Learning, and Play-Based Learning (PbL) in the context of elementary school education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that all four strategies have their own strengths: PjBL encourages creativity and critical thinking skills through real projects; PBL develops analysis and data-based problem-solving skills; Collaborative Learning fosters cooperation, communication, and empathy; while PbL creates enjoyable learning that is appropriate for children's development. The integration of these four strategies produces meaningful, holistic, and contextual learning, in line with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. Teachers play an important role as facilitators who must be able to design active and reflective learning. The results of this study recommend the application of an integrated approach in thematic learning as an effort to create intelligent, adaptive students who are ready to face global challenges.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the integration of Islamic education values and religious moderation in shaping adolescent character in a multicultural era, from psychological and socio-cultural perspectives. The multicultural era, characterized by cultural, religious, and social diversity, presents both opportunities and challenges for adolescent identity formation. In Indonesia, as a country with a Muslim-majority population, Islamic education plays a strategic role in fostering a younger generation that is moderate, tolerant, and inclusive. However, challenges such as globalization, social media, and extremist narratives often lead adolescents to experience identity conflicts and moral dilemmas. The research method employed is library research, gathering data from various primary sources such as books, journals, official documents, and articles related to Islamic education, religious moderation, and multiculturalism. The findings indicate that Islamic education values, such as tauhid (the oneness of God), akhlakul karimah (noble character), ibadah (worship), and scientific knowledge, can serve as spiritual and moral foundations supporting the principles of religious moderation, including tawassuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), i’tidal (justice), and tawazun (balance). Systematic implementation of these values through formal education curricula and interactive religious programs has proven effective in enhancing tolerance and cross-cultural cooperation among adolescents. Therefore, Islamic education applied critically and contextually holds significant potential as a solution to address socio-cultural challenges and build adolescent character that is moderate, empathetic, and inclusive amidst the dynamics of a multicultural society.

Abstract

This article discusses four innovative learning strategies: the use of interactive technology, outdoor learning, art-based learning, and differentiated instruction. The purpose of this study is to explore how these methods can enhance student engagement and learning outcomes in various educational settings. The research method used is a qualitative literature review based on credible academic sources. The findings indicate that interactive technology supports students in learning through digital interaction and visual simulations; outdoor learning provides real-world experiences that increase motivation; art-based learning encourages creativity and emotional expression; and differentiated instruction accommodates the diverse needs of students. These four strategies, when applied in a balanced and contextualized manner, can improve the quality of learning and promote a more inclusive classroom. The integration of these methods can also support teachers in creating a dynamic and responsive learning environment. The implications of this study highlight the importance of innovation and flexibility in modern pedagogy to meet the needs of 21st-century learners.

Abstract

Mental health is the foundation of emotions, thoughts, communication, learning, resilience, hope, and self-esteem. It also plays an important role in interpersonal relationships, personal and emotional well-being, and contributions to society. Mental disorders, often referred to as mental illnesses, are mild mental health problems that affect thoughts, feelings, behaviour, mood, or a combination of all of these. Religion plays a very important role in maintaining a person's mental health. This study will examine how religion can contribute to shaping the mental health of adolescents to prevent mental disorders. The method used in this study is a literature study, in which the researcher will collect information from various sources such as books, journals, articles, magazines, newspapers, and other media to support the discussion. For a more in-depth analysis, a descriptive method will be applied to make the discussion clearer.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of active, direct, and indirect learning strategies at the elementary school level. The problem addressed is the effectiveness of these strategies in improving student learning outcomes and engagement. Employing a quantitative research methodology, data was collected through (specify data collection methods, e.g., questionnaires, surveys, observations, tests) from elementary school students. The results indicate that the combination and appropriate application of active, direct, and indirect learning strategies significantly contribute to [state key findings, e.g., enhanced student participation, better understanding of concepts, improved academic performance] in elementary school settings. This research provides insights into how these varied instructional approaches can be effectively integrated to foster a more dynamic and productive learning environment for young learners.

Abstract

The full-day school program is designed to extend students' learning time in order to optimize the learning process and the comprehensive development of competencies. The evaluation of the full day school program at SD NU Nawa Kartika needs to be conducted thoroughly to determine whether the program being implemented aligns with educational objectives. This research aims to evaluate the Full Day School program at SD NU Nawa Kartika using the CIPP evaluation model. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and interviews involving teachers and students as respondents to obtain a comprehensive picture of the program's implementation. Data analysis techniques were conducted quantitatively and qualitatively using Microsoft Excel, focusing on the program's effectiveness based on indicators of student engagement, learning quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. The evaluation results show that the Full Day School program at SD NU Nawa Kartika is running effectively, as reflected in the increased student participation, optimal management of learning time, and positive responses from all respondents. These findings indicate that the program is worth maintaining and can serve as a model for other elementary schools that wish to improve the quality of education through a full-day learning system.

Abstract

Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly developing and being applied in various fields, including education. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), the integration of AI offers great opportunities to improve the quality of learning, but also presents challenges that need to be considered. This article discusses how AI can be integrated into PAI learning, the benefits it offers, and the obstacles that may be faced in its implementation. In addition, this article presents various academic references that support the analysis of the opportunities and challenges of implementing AI in PAI.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Difference in Professional Attitudes Viewed from the Marital Status of PAID Teachers in Singkil District, Aceh Singkil Regency. Thesis, Medan: Faculty of Education, State University of Medan 2025. This study uses a comparative research type. The sample in this study was 30 PAUD teachers, sampling using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaires and observations. The statistical analysis used hypothesis testing using paired sample t-tests. The results of the study showed no significant difference between Professional Attitudes viewed from the Marital Status of PAID Teachers. This difference does not appear to be seen in the average value of the questionnaire and observation. The average obtained from the results of the questionnaire with the married group obtained a value of 8, while the results of the questionnaire with the unmarried group obtained a value of 7. The results of the average value obtained from the results of Observations 1 and 2 with the married group obtained 8, and the results of observations with the unmarried group obtained 7. The results of the data analysis obtained showed a significant value of 0.821> 0.05. Significance Value> 0.05 then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, meaning that there is no significant difference in Professional Attitudes seen from the Marital Status of PAID Teachers in Singkil District, Aceh Singkil Regency.

Abstract

This study explores how the application of constructivist theory influences student learning outcomes in Christian Religious Education (CRE) at the senior high school level. Constructivist theory emphasizes that students actively build their own knowledge through experiences, discussions, and reflection. In the context of CRE, this approach helps students not only understand theological teachings theoretically but also apply them in real-life situations. This research was conducted through a literature review by analyzing various sources such as journals, books, and previous studies. The findings show that constructivist learning approaches such as case studies, group discussions, and faith-based projects can enhance students’ comprehension, encourage critical thinking, and strengthen their spiritual attitudes and sense of responsibility. Furthermore, students become more engaged, confident in expressing their opinions, and capable of connecting lessons to their personal experiences. These findings highlight the importance of Christian education teachers being creative and reflective in designing learning experiences that are relevant and meaningful for students' faith development during adolescence.

Abstract

The Christian faith plays a vital role in shaping individual identity and moral values. In daily life, Christian teachings such as love, forgiveness, justice, and humility serve as foundational principles that influence a person's way of thinking, behaving, and interacting with others. An individual’s identity is not solely shaped by cultural and social backgrounds but also by spiritual values instilled through early religious education and participation in faith communities. Through practices like worship, Bible reading, and fellowship within the church, individuals are guided to understand their identity as valuable creations of God. In the midst of modern challenges that often blur moral boundaries, the role of Christianity becomes increasingly essential as a guiding force that provides direction and purpose. Therefore, the development of a strong identity and character cannot be separated from the active and relevant presence of faith in a person's life. This study explores how Christian teachings help form personal identity and embed moral values as a compass for navigating social realities.
