Abstract

Educators, whether teachers, lecturers or whatever their names are, are one of the factors that carry out the task of guiding, encouraging and developing the potential of students towards perfection, therefore the role of educators is very significant for the achievement of a system in education. Lecturers as professionals and scientists have the main task of transforming, developing and expanding science, technology and art through education, research and community service. Professional lecturers are an important component in the education system at tertiary institutions, they have the roles, duties and responsibilities needed to assist the government in realizing national education goals, namely to improve the quality of Indonesian people, both in faith, noble character, mastery of knowledge, arts and technology to realize the creation of a prosperous, advanced, just and civilized Indonesian society. These tasks certainly require the competence of a mature educator so that they can achieve the objectives of the study program in which the lecturer is assigned.

Abstract

In democracy-based learning, learning systems are emphasized activities that involve all students by emphasizing creative thinking, and critical in expressing opinions, ideas, and ideas by the learning styles possessed and various intelligence of students which includes verbal, mathematical, spatial, kinesthetic, musical intelligence, interaction skills. Talking about democratic learning means what must happen is how democratic patterns are in the learning process. Abstract

The scientific approach in learning is carried out through activities to dig up information through observation, ask questions, explore or collect data or information, then process data or information and end by presenting data or information in oral, written or other forms. This approach is inseparable from the objectives of developing the 2013 curriculum that is currently being used. Project-based learning is also believed to be able to encourage students to produce creative and contextual works both at the individual and group levels. Project Assessment is one of the assessment models in skills other than product assessment. However, at certain times the project assessment can also be used as a knowledge assessment. Because of the steps in working on the project students get a real knowledge.

Abstract

The purpose of comparative education is to find out what power differences have given rise to the different forms of education systems in the world. In other words, in one country, for example, religious power is the main driving factor and the basis for the formation of the education system, while in another country social factors are the foundation of an education system. And it has also been explained that there are 6 methods used in comparative education, namely: Historical, Descriptive, Statistical, Philosophical, Comparative, and the last one is Quasi-experimental. For the last one, which is discussing the scope of comparative education where we have explained there are explanations according to 3 experts, namely the first according to William W. Brickman then according to Nicholas Hans and the last according to I.L. Kanderl.

Abstract

Indonesia is still lagging behind Singapore in the field of education. It is evident from the difference in education levels between Indonesia and Singapore, namely, the difference is quite far in the level of basic education in Singapore, which is only 6 years while Indonesia takes 9 years with details of 6 years of elementary school and 3 years of junior high school, the next difference is in the country's secondary education level. Singapore takes 4 to 5 years at this level, while Indonesia takes 3 years but Singapore at this level classifies students' abilities into Express, Normal Academic and Normal Technical, while Indonesia only uses accelerated programs in certain schools. So completion at the intermediate level in Singapore takes 11 years, while in Indonesia it takes 1 year longer, which is 12 years.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) find out whether there is an increase in students' learning achievement in mathematics through contextual learning in class III at SDN 43 Bilah Hulu on the subject of perimeter and area of flat shapes (2) find out what students' attitudes towards contextual learning are in class III at SDN 43 Bilah Hulu. on Roving material. This research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects who gave the action in this research were the class teachers in mathematics lessons, while the class III students at SDN 43 Bilah Hulu, consisting of 31 students, were the research subjects who received the action. Researchers as observers are tasked with planning, collecting data, analyzing data and drawing conclusions. The research object studied was mathematics learning in an effort to increase student learning achievement through contextual learning. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that student learning achievement in calculating the perimeter and area of the perimeter and area of flat shapes by applying contextual learning has increased in class III at SDN 43 Bilah Hulu. The average for the first cycle class increased from the initial test by 3.06%, while the percentage of students' classical abilities increased by 32.26%. The class average in cycle II increased from cycle I by 19.36%, while classical ability increased by 34.21%. Students' attitudes towards receiving learning using contextual learning were very positive because in cycle I student activity in participating in contextual learning was 56.14% and increased in cycle II to 83.33%. Meanwhile, student observations in cycle I were 62.50%, increasing in cycle II to 85.42%.

Abstract

This research aims to instill a soul of love towards the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) in every santri, as well as to know the role of santri against the understanding of Islamophobia that develops during the development of pesantren. The research discusses the national insight that is the Indonesian nation's perspective on themselves and their environment prioritizes the unity and unity of the nation and the unity of the region based on Pancasila, the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945, Bhineka Tunggal Ika and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). This research uses qualitative methodology. Subjective views emphasize the creation of meaning, meaning that individuals make use of all behaviors that occur. The conclusion of the study is to make santri a national bulwark of the struggle against Islamophobia. They are forged to have a sense of responsibility in seeing the reality of colonization, including counteracting Islamophobia. The position occupied by santri after becoming alumni of pesantren is increasingly positive. Santri became a graduate who played a lot in social life and nationality and began to take roles in public positions. Ustadz or caregiver always instills the soul of obstetrics and how to contribute to the nation and state. Ustadz and the teacher also should rebuke and remind santri who often carry teachings or understandings that are contrary to the teachings of Islam. The study recommends to the relevant parties to include material hazards that develop contrary to the values of Pancasila.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations and interviews that have been conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Tondano, information was obtained that the learning process is still using the direct learning model. Where learning is only centered on the teacher, so students are less active in learning mathematics.This causes students to have grades that are standard or below average. This cen be seen from the average score of students, which is 67.5, while the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) set in schools is 75. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the learning outcomes of students who use the cooperative learning model of the student teams achievement division type are higher from student learning outcomes using direct learning models on circle material. The experimental design used in this study was a posstest control group design. the sample of this study was class VIIIC as the experimental class with 28 students and class VIIIB as the control class with 29 students at SMP Negeri 1 Tondano. Data obtained from student learning outcomes tests. With the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 81.64 and the average student learning outcomes in the control class was 72.85. analysis of the data using the t-test with a value of ???????????????????????? = 1.902 > ???????????????????????? = 1,67 then reject ????0 and accept ????1. The results of the study concluded that student learning outcomes taught by cooperative learning model type student teams achievement division were higher than student learning outcomes taught using direct learning models, so that they were well applied to the process of learning activities.
