Abstract

Learning in the classroom is an important part of the education process. If the implementation of learning in class is meaningful, it can produce quality students. The teacher has a big role in organizing the class, the teacher's ability to design learning that starts from mature teaching preparation. One of them is by applying a learning model that is suitable for use in learning to be able to improve student learning outcomes. The learning model that will be applied is the Team Games Tournament (TGT). The purpose of this study was to improve the results of learning Indonesian on landscape materials for fourth grade students by applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model at SDN Panggreh 2 Jabon Sidoarjo. The implementation of PTK is carried out through two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing, reflecting. Data collection techniques used by using tests, documentation. The success indicator of this PTK is the learning outcomes or the number of students who get a score according to KKM (> 55) of at least 75%. The learning outcomes in the first cycle were 71.42% with an average value of 67.14. The learning outcomes in cycle II were 96.42% with an average value of 82.14. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that by applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, it can improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language on landscape materials for fourth grade students at SDN Panggreh 2 Jabon Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This tahfidz Al-Qur'an program is an integral part of religious education in Islamic institutions, especially at SMPI AL-ISHLAH Bukittinggi. The main goal is to help children memorize and understand the Koran, with a positive impact not only on the cognitive aspect but also on the student's personal or spiritual aspect. The aim of this research is to investigate the habituation of the tahfidz Al- Qur'an program and its impact on the spiritual improvement of students at SMPI AL-ISHLAH Bukittinggi. Observation and literature study were used as data collection techniques. Through data analysis, this research found that the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program had a positive impact on SMPI students. One of the main results is the strengthening of students' spiritual ties with Allah SWT. This program also helps develop positive traits and enhance spiritual values

Abstract

This research started from the fact that there were some children at the Aisyiyah Putra Bukittinggi Orphanage who were shy when communicating with the environment, especially with people they had just met, then there were some children who preferred to be alone in their room rather than hanging out with others, and also There are some children who are insecure about their status and children who are introverted. When asked, they prefer to avoid and answer briefly, so these children can be said to lack self- confidence. Researchers tried to apply group guidance to increase the self-confidence of children in the orphanage. This research aims to reduce feelings of inferiority and increase children's self-confidence. The method used in this research is pre-experiment, one group pre-test, post-test. The subjects in this research were children at the Aisyiyah Putra Bukittinggi Orphanage who lacked self-confidence based on the results of observations. The data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon rank test. The instrument used in this research is a measurement scale in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the research were seen from the implementation of the pre-test and post-test with an increase in each child. Analysis of the Wilcoxon signed rank test shows that the value of 0.018 is lower than 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in self-confidence through group guidance at the Aisyiyah Putra Bukittinggi Orphanage.

Abstract

Social emotional development of early childhood needs to get the focus of parents and teachers so that children can be accepted by their social environment. This study aims to determine the assessment of social emotional abilities of children aged 5-6 years at Immanuel Kids Kindergarten Medan Amplas. This research method uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. In this study the assessment used was statistical data analysis techniques. The instrument used in this study used an observation sheet. With a rating scale in the form of BB (Not Developing), MB (Starting to Develop), BSH (Developing According to Expectations). The findings show that as many as 5 children with MB criteria (Beginning to Develop), 2 children with BSH criteria (Developing According to Expectations) and 8 children receiving BB criteria (Not Yet Developed). So it can be concluded from the social emotional assessment carried out in Immanuel Kids Kindergarten that needs to be developed. Because there were 8 children with BB criteria (Not yet Developed) out of 15 children who were observed. And got a score of 53.3%.

Abstract

The background of this research is the efforts of PAI teachers to increase students' interest in reading the Qur'an at MTs Shalatiyah Bitin with the formulation of the problem of how the efforts of PAI teachers to increase students' interest in reading the Qur'an at MTs Shalatiyah Bitin. The purpose of this study was to find out the efforts of PAI teachers in increasing students' interest in reading the Qur'an at MTs Shalatiyah Bitin. The subject of this research is the PAI teachers at MTs Shalatiyah Bitin. The object of this study is the efforts of PAI teachers to increase students' interest in reading the Qur'an at MTs Shalatiyah Bitin. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentaries. Data processing techniques use data reduction, data display and data verification. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative. The results of this study can be concluded that the efforts of PAI teachers in increasing students' interest in reading the Qur'an at MTs Shalatiyah Bitin has been quite implemented, including: 1. The PAI teachers approach in increasing interest in reading the Qur'an in students at MTs Shalatiyah Bitin is good, because the PAI teachers at MTs. Shalatiyah Bitin has taken an individual approach and also made a motivational/motivated approach to students. Methods of PAI teachers in increasing interest in reading the Qur'an in students at MTs Shalatiyah Bitin, namely by using habituation methods and exemplary methods. 3. Obstacles faced by teachers towards students who are not very interested in reading the Qur'an can be overcome.

Abstract

The teacher’s efforts to overcome the saturation of studying Islamic Cultural History in students are needed so that the learning process can be carried out well and students can learn with enthusiasm and fun. Based on this statement, the focus of this study is the teacher’s efforts to address the saturation of learning Islamic cultural history at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 22 Hulu Sungai Tengah and its supporting and inhibiting factors. The purpose of this study was to find out the teacher’s efforts in addressing the saturation of learning the history of Islamic culture at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 22 Hulu Sungai Tengah as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors. The type of research used is field research and uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data source for this research was one of the Islamic Cultural History subject teachers, 6 students, school principals, administrative staff, and data relating to the issues discussed. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data processing uses data reduction, data display, and data verification. Then analyzed using descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the teacher’s efforts to overcome the saturation of learning the history of Islamic culture to students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 22 Hulu Sungai Tengah were quite good by packaging learning with rewards and then also providing stimulus in the form of questions that provoke students and giving appreciation to active students. The factors that support and hinder it are: 1) The teaching experience of Islamic Cultural History teachers is long enough so that when teaching is experienced enough and it is easier to convey learning material. 2) Facilities and infrastructure at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 22 Hulu Sungai Tengah are sufficient for the teaching and learning process. 3) School Environment The situation and conditions at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 22 Hulu Sungai Tengah are not supportive because it is located close to residential areas so of course it can become an obstacle to the learning process.

Abstract

This study concerns education financing management and graduate quality, which aims to analyze the education financing management process which has an impact on improving the quality of graduates at SMAN 2 Halong. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data sources in this study are primary data and secondary data with the data collection techniques being observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this interview were the principal, treasurer, and teacher. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative analysis which included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, to check the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation and source triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that SMAN 2 Halong's education financing management includes three ways, namely; 1) Planning, where school-related activities have been prepared in the School Activity and Budget Plan (RKAS) which is prepared by the school every year at the beginning of the school year. 2) Implementation, where for the implementation of financing there is receipt of funding such as School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds, school business units, activity money, and community donations. Expenditure, such as teacher and staff salaries, administrative needs, teaching and learning support, procurement and maintenance of infrastructure, activities for alumni and parents, as well as subscriptions to services and resources. 3) Evaluation, this is carried out by SMAN 2 Halong twice every year, in the middle and at the end of the school year by holding meetings with related parties. The results of the evaluation can be used as a reference by the school to make a decision. The educational financing management process at SMAN 2 Halong has an impact on improving the quality of graduates. This can be seen from the various types of activities carried out at SMAN 2 Halong with the aim of developing student character by applying religious culture at school, and improving student skills referring to 4C competencies, both intra- curricular and extra-curricular activities. In addition, there is the satisfaction of parents of students with graduates of SMAN 2 Halong who have personalities in accordance with the school's vision and mission.

Abstract

This research departs from the importance of a strategy used by the teacher in the teaching and learning process so that it can influence students to achieve learning objectives effectively and efficiently in creating expected learning situations and forming character and educating students to become faithful, noble, wholehearted, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become some religious children. This study aims to find out how the strategy of teaching morals is in the Kindergarten of Tardayatul Furqan, Kandangan District and what factors influence it. This research is a field research (field research). The subjects were 2 teachers and 59 children and the objects were moral learning strategies in Tarbiatul Furqan Kindergarten, Kandangan District and the influencing factors. To explore this research data, using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Through descriptive analysis techniques, this researcher produced the following findings: The strategies used by the teacher in learning Morals by Playing, Singing, Storytelling and Integrated. Influencing factors that influence moral learning strategies in Tarbiatul Furqan Kindergarten, Kandangan District, in terms of teacher factors, namely experience, level of education, supporting facilities, in terms of student factors, namely attention and interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of users on the performance of librarians at the Padang State University Library. The type of research used is quantitative with descriptive methods. The population in this study is visitors from July to November 2022 at the Padang State University Library with a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, namely the determination of the sample randomly. The research instrument uses a questionnaire as the main data. In addition, data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires. To test the prerequisite analysis using the validity test and reliability test. In analyzing the data of this study, the calculation of the mean and grand mean formulas is used. The results of this study indicate that the user's perception of the performance of librarians at the Padang State University Library with four indicators namely quality, quantity, timeliness, and commitment is categorized as good. Based on the results of an average score of 3.05. Located on an interval scale of 2.52-3.27.

Abstract

The background in this research is a management information system for madrasas concerning the implementation and utilization for the benefit of integrated management. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kotawaringin Timur Regency has implemented a management information system to meet the needs of those who want quality education services. This requires continuous development of management information systems. The purpose of this research is to find out the management information system implemented in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kotawaringin Timur Regency with the steps of data collection, data processing and data input as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of implementing management information systems. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of field research (field research). Sources of data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. By making administrative staff and teachers as respondents and madrasah heads as informants in obtaining data. Data analysis in this study is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The stages in this research are the preliminary stage, the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the final stage. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of management information systems at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kotawaringin Timur Regency has been developed through several management information systems, namely websites, RDM, EMIS, SIMPATIKA, and ANBK which are carried out according to established procedures. Supporting factors for the management information system process at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kotawaringin Timur Regency, namely, facilities and infrastructure that support the management of management information systems, the availability of operational teams and the existence of ICT learning. The inhibiting factors for the management information system process were teachers having difficulty implementing the management information system, errors in the application system and adding data units from the central Ministry of Religion.
