Abstract

Arabic language learning in universities is now widespread, but there are still some problems, one of which is the lack of ability of students to speak Arabic. This problem is caused by not being accustomed to speaking Arabic in a language environment because the environment is not supportive. In order to overcome this problem, habituation, application and continuous practice by students are needed. Therefore, this study aims to determine the ability of students in speaking Arabic and the influence of the environment to improve the speaking ability. This research uses a qualitative method. This qualitative approach is used to explain and analyze individual phenomena, groups, events and perceptions.  The source of this research was obtained by filling out questionnaires distributed offline to Arabic language students. The results of this research reveal some of the conditions that must be met in an effort to create a language environment, how influential the environment is in improving speaking skills using Arabic, and technological advances that can also have an impact on these skills.

Abstract

Instagram can be used to boost students' enthusiasm for learning Arabic because it is an attractive social media platform for today's young generation. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Instagram as a digital literacy-based learning medium, including: (1) Analyzing the use of Instagram as a mufradat learning medium for IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Arabic Language Education Students (2) Analyzing the digital literacy abilities of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Arabic Language Education Students Cirebon (3) Describe the effectiveness of Instagram in learning Arabic language based on digital literacy for Arabic Language Education Students at IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Many online platforms and media have proven their effectiveness as recommendations for online-based learning and one of them used for Arabic language education students is the Instagram application. This research uses a qualitative approach, namely the data collected is not in the form of numbers, but manuscripts, interviews, field notes, recordings, and personal documents. The research results show that the Instagram application as a mufradat learning medium is quite effective, quite effective here, namely in using social media as a source of information in searching for materials related to Arabic language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing Quizizz-based assessment on improving Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning outcomes of students at SMPN 4, Payakumbuh District. The problem faced is the low PAI learning outcomes caused by the lack of interaction and motivation in reading test questions. As a solution, the researcher implemented a Quizizz-based assessment, an interactive quiz platform that allows students to be more active and motivated in participating in the evaluation. The approach used in this study is Classroom Action Research. Data were collected through learning outcome tests given before and after the implementation of Quizizz. The results of the study showed that the completeness of student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle before using Quizizz-based assessment was 51.72%. After using Quizizz, in cycle I the percentage of student learning outcomes reached 79.13%, in cycle II the learning outcomes increased to 82.75%. In cycle III the percentage of student learning reached 93.10%. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of Quizizz-based assessment. Therefore, the implementation of Quizizz-based assessment can be an effective alternative in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning at SMPN 4, Payakumbuh District.

Abstract

In this study, most generation Z were not able to communicate directly due to a lack of self-confidence and ineffective communication. Communication is an important and necessary tool in everyday life to establish relationships with other people. Communication is considered important for generation Z, because they, as the future generation, must understand how to communicate effectively among the general public and must be able to answer questions spontaneously. Currently, generation Z has a close relationship with technology, the need to depend on the internet both in the social world, education, knowledge of something that makes them unable to communicate in the real world. The purpose of this research is information regarding the role of BK in improving effective communication in generation Z. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. So it was concluded that collaborating with the orphanage administrators by reviewing the positive things that were expected to happen optimally. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews, where the author interviewed orphanage administrators regarding their communication skills in increasing effective communication. In analyzing the data, data reduction and data verification were carried out by summarizing the data found in the field. Guidance and counseling services should be directed at equipping generation Z with superior character by utilizing information and communication technology so that they can lead them towards a bright future. From this, it can be seen that development guidance and counseling will play a very important role in facing and preparing a quality generation Z

Abstract

The use of learning media is very necessary to help teachers in delivering material in class, moreover digital learning media is quite good to use because it adapts to the current era which is the era of digital use. This study aims to improve students' skills in the procedures for good and correct prayer. The research method used by the researcher is the RnD development method, with the Four-D Model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data collection techniques are carried out by means of interviews, observations, trials and evaluations (participants fill out questionnaires and assess animated videos that researchers make). The questionnaire was filled out by 24 people in class VII C. From the results of interviews with fiqh subject teachers, it was found that there were still many students, especially students in class VII C MTS Darul Amin, who did not know the correct and proper prayer movements, therefore the researcher is interested in developing digital learning media that can help fiqh subject teachers to deliver material about prayer in more detail, in addition to making it easier for students to access via video. So the results of the development made by the researcher are, students are more helped by the existence of learning videos about prayer procedures that can be accessed via gadgets, and participants understand more about prayer movements because the video has provided clear and detailed movements, with this, it can improve students' prayer procedure skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of work-life balance in improving teacher performance at SDN Jeruk 1 Surabaya. This research uses qualitative methods with in-depth interviews with different teachers at SDN Jeruk 1 Surabaya. Research shows that work-life balance has a positive effect on teacher motivation, job satisfaction and creativity. Teachers who are able to maintain a balance between work and home life tend to be more productive, have positive energy, and make maximum contributions to the learning process. In addition, work-life balance can also help reduce stress and fatigue, as well as improve teachers' mental and physical health. The importance of school policies and institutional support in creating a work environment that supports work-life balance is also an important finding of this study. Supports such as changes to workload policies, time flexibility, and time management can help teachers achieve a better balance. This research concludes that work-life balance plays an important role in improving teacher performance at SDN Jeruk 1 Surabaya. Therefore, deeper consideration of this aspect can have a positive impact not only on individual teachers but also on the quality of education as a whole.

Abstract

Character education aims to guide students to become individuals who have character, without satisfaction in heart, mind, body and taste. Character education in Islam, especially through the Dhuha prayer, is considered an important bulwark in moral improvement. The qualitative approach in research allows for an in-depth understanding of its impact on students' moral degradation, thought patterns and behavior. How the results of this research can help further development in the context of character education. Data collection procedures involving direct observation, interviews, and documentation provide a strong foundation for research. The results of research showing character development through Dhuha prayers at MTsS Madinatul Munawwarah, Bukittinggi by students and teachers provide a positive picture. Are there any special findings or recommendations from the research results that can be implemented further? The character values developed, such as religion, discipline, honesty and responsibility, are reflected in students' behavior. Positive actions such as carrying out Dhuha prayers continuously, upholding the rules of behavior, speaking honestly in prayer movements and readings, as well as responsibility in carrying out tasks provide a positive contribution to character formation. How does the school support and strengthen the development of these character values in the daily learning environment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of disciplined character for students because disciplined character forms a better person starting from the behavior, character and personality of students in carrying out the rules in the madrasah. Based on the phenomena that the author found, there are many students who do not follow the rules in madrasas, such as there are still many students who arrive late, students are late in participating in the learning process around 15 minutes to 30 minutes from the time the teacher enters the class and they are not allowed to enter the class and ask permission to picket teacher. The character of the santri lacks discipline who enters the class in groups when the pela lesson begins, where the santri do not respect the teacher when they are late and they are not afraid of the teacher, and do not listen to the teacher so that the santri do not obey school rules and abuse the teacher. This research uses a field research type of research, namely field research that is seen directly using qualitative descriptive methods as a procedure that produces data in the form of written or spoken words from people and behavior that can be observed in this research. The number of class XI students who will be studied 22 students. And data collection techniques are by observation and interviews. The key informants in this research were student representatives, and supporting informants were the boarding school leaders and class xi students at the Al-Ma'arif modern Islamic boarding school. The results of this research show that, the application of disciplined character education to Madrasah Aliyah students at the Al-Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School in Koto Selayan Bukittinggi. The boarding school leaders have included a disciplined character for the students and have established regulations and scheduled madrasas. Where in applying disciplinary character there is a method, namely looking at the objectives, materials and methods in applying disciplinary character. And also looking at the obstacles teachers have in implementing disciplinary character, one of the reasons we see is that students have different characters. The schedule for coming to school is to be at the madrasah at 7.00. and in Arsama it is also scheduled at what time to bathe, eat and so on and each has its own regulations and regulations. There are still students who are late for various reasons

Abstract

The background of this research is to fulfill assignments in student activities at UIN SMDD Bukittinggi as well as to determine and optimize students’ ability to memorize the Qur’an at SD IT Madani 2 Payakumbuh using the muraja’ah method in tahfizh learning. The aim of this research is to find out what the students’ ability to read and memorize the Qur’an at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh is like, what kind of methods are applied to students in learning to read and memorize the Qur’an and to help students teachers to improve students’ ability to read and memorize the Koran. This research also aims to optimize the ability to read, memorize and write the Koran through the muraja’ah method at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh. This research was conducted at SD It Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh with the title optimizing the ability to memorize the Qur’an through the muraja’ah method at SD It Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh. The problem examined in this research is what is the level of memorization of the Qur’an that students have at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh, what is the method of memorizing the Qur’an applied by teachers to students in tahfizh learning, what are the difficulties? Students face in memorizing the Qur’an. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method which aims to analyze how to improve students’ ability to memorize the Koran through implementing the muraja’ah method in tahfizh learning. The data collected in this research was through observation, interviews and direct practice in tahfizh learning at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh. The results obtained in this research are: First, the ability to memorize the Koran of students at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh has reached the memorization target limit set by the Tahfizh teacher. Second, the ability to memorize the Al-Qur’an of students who are still not fluent in memorizing the Al-Qur’an can be improved through the implementation of the muraja’ah method which is held at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh.

Abstract

This research was conducted to understand how the Jigsaw learning model and Islamic Religious Education learning are implemented at SMA N 2 Lubuk Suhuing, as well as what factors are applied and how they are implemented. The Jigsaw learning model is used in Islamic Religious Education at SMA N 2 Lubuk Sikaping. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of the research and analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw learning model used has succeeded in making students become active participants in the class when studying Islamic religious education subjects at SMA N 2 Lubuk Suhuing, which includes first, the teacher divides the students into 5 After that, students were instructed to choose one leader from each member of the group. After that, the group leader took the questions that had been prepared by the teacher. After that, each member of the group discussed the topic that had been agreed upon by the teacher and each group discussed. After completing the discussion, each group member moves to another group to understand the next question, unless the group leader remains in his or her original group. secondly, students have to think in order to explain the meaning of the questions given by the teacher, after that each group returns to their original group to present the results they got. Supporting factors refer to all factors that play a role in, facilitate, support, smooth, support, help, speed up, and whatever happens in a particular situation. What is meant by inhibiting factors are all types of factors that have the property of inhibiting (making things slow), or more specifically, preventing and preventing something from happening. Another inhibiting factor is the duration of time, where this teaching model requires a longer period of time, but the application of this method needs to be aligned with the curriculum. Apart from that, students are included in a group that is less active because each individual accepted into the Expert Team group only makes small talk with the books they own. What is clear is that students only memorize and do not understand it, so that when they return to the group in general, the delivery is limited to reading the book again. Apart from the existence of supporting and inhibiting factors in the Jigsaw learning.
