Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of learning achievement of students in grades XI-D at SMA Negeri 1 Adonara in PAK subjects through a cooperative learning model of the team games tournament (TGT) type. This study uses a type of classroom action research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Classroom action research was carried out at SMAN 1 Adonara in classes XI-D or FD Phase by going through two cycles, namely cycle I was carried out on September 23, 2024 and cycle II on September 30, 2024. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in learning achievement, namely in the cognitive, affective, and psychometric aspects. The results obtained in the pre-cycle stage obtained the class average of learning outcomes or learning achievement of 61.40, cycle I of 65.33, and cycle II of 83.60. Meanwhile, the increase in presentations from each cycle for students who reach the Minimum Achievement Criteria (KKM) set by the school for the Catholic Religious Education subject is 75. In the pre-cycle of 20%, Cycle I is 33% and Cycle II is 100%. Thus, the application of the cooperative learning model of the team games tournament type can increase the learning achievement of students in SMAN 1 Adonara class XI-D or the FD phase.

Abstract

This research is motivated by low problem solving abilities. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of wordwall games on problem solving abilities. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method (Quasi Experiment). In this research, researchers carried out random sampling. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) There is an influence of using the Wordwall Game on students' mathematical problem solving abilities with test results using a simple linear regression test and a one-way ANOVA test with a significance level of 0.05. The simple linear regression test has a significance value (Sig.) of 0.000 < 0.05 so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted which shows that "there is an influence of the use of the Wordwall Game on students' mathematical problem solving abilities". (2) The one-way ANOVA test has a significance value of 0.043 < 0.05, so there is a difference in average values. There are differences between students who use the Wordwall Game and students who do not use the Wordwall game regarding mathematical problem solving abilities. With the test results using the Independent Sample t-Test, namely the Sig value. amounting to 0.000 < 0.05 as the basis for decision making in the Independent Sample t-Test test states that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely that there is a difference between students who use the Wordwall Game and students who do not use the Wardwall game regarding mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of valuable cultural heritage for history, science, education, religion and culture. One of Indonesia's historical heritage or cultural heritage in Purbalingga is the Raden Sayyid Kuning Mosque. In traditional mosque architecture, ethnomathematics plays an important role in revealing how mathematics, culture and local wisdom relate to each other. Ethnomathematics is a study that examines the relationship between culture and mathematics in community practice. The Raden Sayyid Kuning Mosque is a cultural heritage that not only functions as a place of worship, they also demonstrate the philosophy of life, aesthetic values, and construction technology derived from the mathematical knowledge of the local community. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, field observations and visual documentation. The research results show that various geometric shapes and patterns, including symmetry and reflection patterns in the architectural design of the mosque, reflect the traditional mathematical understanding of the local community. This research aims to explore ethnomathematics elements in the design and architecture of the Raden Sayyid Kuning Mosque in Onje Village, Purbalingga. Not only does this research increase our understanding of local culture and riches, but it also shows how mathematics was used wisely to build religious buildings in Indonesia. It is hoped that this research will serve as a reference for building a mathematics curriculum that is contextual and culture- based in the local environment.

Abstract

Effective communication in building social harmony is essential to create unity. Building harmony in society requires serious efforts starting from each individual or family as the smallest organisation in society that has duties, roles, and as an initial educational process in instilling values of tolerance from an early age, as well as activities in the community that can encourage mutual respect for differences, maintain harmony and unity, sharing, belonging, tolerance, and a strong desire to live in peace. As a diverse nation, diversity and differences are inevitable in society, but with good communication and a shared determination, a peaceful, just, prosperous and harmonious life can be created, as desired by all levels of society. A society is said to live in harmony if the interactions or relationships between individuals or groups in society run well, have a sense of solidarity, respect differences, feel mutual need, build cooperation, help each other, and so on.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine the relationship between students’ views on the integrity of educators and the development of their personal virtues at MTsN 2 located in Sungai Banyak City. By administering a survey with like-dislike questions to 25 random students, we gathered numerical information.” The evaluation results show an important correlation between students’ views of educator integrity, particularly in honesty, equality, self-control, and compassion, and the development of these traits. Student traits such as accountability, teamwork, and independence. Pearson analysis shows a relationship index (r = 0.65) with statistical significance (p < 0.01), which indicates that the teacher’s disposition is very influential remaining data (p = 0.08) works, which supports the accuracy of our analysis. Rewrite the above phrase more concisely, using only synonyms while keeping the original meaning intact with ‘ ‘ important function of pedagogical integrity in fostering students’ moral development, supporting educators

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of using PowerPoint media to improve Arabic listening skills among seventh-grade students at SMP Al-Muhaimin. The motivation for this research stems from the low listening skills in Arabic among students due to the lack of relevant learning media, monotonous teaching methods, and limited exposure to the Arabic language. This study employs a quantitative approach with an experimental method, using a pretest-posttest control group design. Two groups of students, an experimental group and a control group, were given a pretest to measure their initial listening skills. The experimental group was taught using PowerPoint media for 4-6 sessions, while the control group used conventional methods. After the learning sessions, both groups were given a posttest to measure the improvement in their listening skills.

Abstract

The digital era brings new challenges in building a generation of believers, especially in a society rooted in Christian values. The integration of Christian education and theology is a strategic approach to answer this challenge. This article discusses the importance of combining the principles of Christian education with theological doctrine to strengthen the character, faith and spiritual values of the younger generation. Through this approach, students are not only given a deep theological understanding, but are also equipped with critical and ethical thinking skills that are relevant to technological developments. This integration includes Bible-based teaching, the application of Christian values in the use of technology, and the development of faith- based learning communities. This article emphasizes the need for collaboration between churches, schools, and families to create an educational environment that supports the growth of faith in the midst of an ever-growing digital era.

Abstract

Education is a shared responsibility between the government, society and families, so that based on this responsibility, education in Indonesia is organised through three channels, namely formal, non-formal and informal education. Informal educational activities carried out by families and the community take the form of independent learning activities. The family, as the first centre of Islamic education, is the initial phase, the basis, and the foundation that is crucial to the continuity and success of further education, because education within the family is a natural centre of education that takes place in a natural manner compared to other centres of education. Parents, as the people most responsible for their children's education, have an obligation to educate their children in accordance with the mandate given to them by Allah SWT. There are three methods that can be used to internalise Islamic educational values in the family, including teaching, exemplary behaviour, guidance and habit formation. Meanwhile, the Islamic educational values internalised in the family are a. Ilahiyah values. Ilahiyah values are values that arise from a belief in supernatural guidance or God. These values are divided into the values of faith or monotheism and morals, the values of worship, and the values of muamalah. b. Human values. Human values are values that arise or are formed from the culture and conditions of the surrounding community, both individuals and groups. Human values are divided into ethical, social, and aesthetic values.
