Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning motivation of children whose parents are divorced at SMPN 1 Sungai Beremas, West Pasaman Regency. Parental divorce is a family condition that can affect the emotional, social, and psychological aspects of children, thus impacting their learning motivation at school. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a purposive sampling technique. The research informants consisted of students whose parents are divorced, subject teachers, guidance and counseling teachers, and parents. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that parental divorce has different impacts on children's learning motivation. Some children experienced a decrease in learning motivation characterized by low concentration, lack of enthusiasm for learning, and the emergence of withdrawal due to emotional instability and reduced parental attention. However, some other children were able to maintain and even increase their learning motivation by using family conditions as a driving force for achievement. Factors supporting children's learning motivation after divorce include teacher support, a conducive school environment, and children's self-acceptance of their family situation. Thus, the learning motivation of children whose parents are divorced is not uniform, but is influenced by the child's psychological condition and support from the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out (1) The process of strengthening the values of nationalism in history learning (2) Understanding of nationalism by students of SMA Negeri 4 Sorong Regency (3) Obstacles found in strengthening nationalism values through learning History and the solutions. Researchers used qualitative research methods, with a descriptive approach. The research location is SMA Negeri 4 Sorong district. Data collection techniques using direct observation techniques, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The results showed that: (1) The process of strengthening nationalism values in history learning for class XI SMA Negeri 4 Sorong Regency, the history teacher had done well, namely: in the planning process, the process of implementing and evaluating in learning (2) Students as the next generation of the nation is increasingly aware of and optimistic and proud as part of the unitary state of the republic of Indonesia. Some of the values of nationalism that they understand include love for the motherland, unity and oneness, willingness to sacrifice, courage and discipline. The values of nationalism in historical learning are very important to be implemented for students through historical materials that are integrated with the values of nationalism (3) Obstacles encountered in strengthening the values of nationalism are curriculum competence, facilities and infrastructure and inadequate family environment support.

Abstract

Every citizen has the right and obligation to participate in national defense efforts. The application of the five basic values of defending the country as an important element in the Fostering of Awareness of State Defense is a measure of the achievement of state defense education. The development of the dynamics of problems in the world of education such as bullying, brawls, and drugs as one of the threats to national defense. So that this study aims at explaining that state defense education can be one of the factors forming social intelligence for students, a strategy in optimizing state defense education. The qualitative approach in this research is to describe data collection through literature study. The overview shows that the understanding of students' attitudes and behavior towards state defense education and understanding of the urgency of state defense education as an effort to defend the country. The conclusion is that the state defense education curriculum that is included in the relevant subjects has five basic values, namely love for the homeland, self-sacrifice, awareness of the nation and state, Pancasila as the state ideology, and the ability to defend the country both physically and non-physically. A good educational process will produce students with character in maximizing the intelligence potential of each student.

Abstract

The transformation of 21st century education requires history education students to master research and development (R&D) methods to create learning innovations. This research aims to develop e-module on research and development (R&D) materials that can be accessed through digital devices to answer these challenges. The research and development method with the ADDIE model is applied in five systematic stages. The results of validation by the first expert showed that the e-module was very feasible in the learning aspect (score 4.4), feasible in the content aspect (score 4.0) and very feasible for the media aspect (score 4.75). Then the second expert gave feasible on the learning aspect (score 3.4), very feasible on the content aspect (score 4.38) and feasible for the media aspect (score 3.5). User trials reinforced the findings with very feasible scores on all aspects: learning (4.63), content (4.48), and media (4.63). The findings prove that the developed e-module are feasible to use as learning media. This product has the potential to be an alternative digital-based learning media to support the mastery of R&D material in history education lectures.

Abstract

Teaching materials as one of the learning content have an important role for lecturers and students, teaching materials in UU No. 12 pasal 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education explains that lecturers are obliged to write teaching materials or textbooks as a vehicle for learning resources for the development of academic culture. The local history course is one of the basic courses for students of the history education study program STKIP Yapis Dompu which requires an interesting learning approach and contains correct information. The sample of this research is STKIP Yapis Dompu history education students who have taken local history courses. The need for teaching materials for students is obtained through observation during learning with questionnaires and student responses are obtained through questionnaires which are then analyzed descriptively by percentage. A total of 70.21% of correspondents explained that teaching materials are needed to support student learning and understanding, besides that teaching materials should be able to help students to quickly understand the course, only 30.61% of correspondents find it difficult to understand the material in local History lectures with teaching materials that sourced from the notes of Bo' Sangaji Kai. Thus, teaching materials from Bo Sangaji Kai's notes as a learning resource have a very important role in the local history course Bima-Dompu in the history education study program of STKIP Yapis Dompu.

Abstract

The low learning participation of students at SMPN 1 Garum. Based on this problem, this research applies the RACVi learning model because the learning model is believed to be appropriate in optimizing the learning participation of class VIII students in social studies subjects. The purpose of this study is to optimize learning participation in social studies subjects of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Garum, Blitar Regency through the RACVi learning model. The research design used in this research is a spiral model classroom action research. The data collection techniques applied are observation and questionnaires. While the data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis flowing models by Miles and Huberma, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that classroom action research applied in two phases states that there is an increase in student learning participation through the application of the RACVI learning model. Based on observation data, the level of student participation for phase 1 was recorded at 72%. After improvements were made in cycle 2, the participation level increased to 81%. While the observation data from the questionnaire results also showed a trend of increasing student learning participation. In cycle 1, the level of student participation was recorded at 74%, and increased to 82% for phase 2. This data further strengthens the finding that the RACVI learning model is able to create a more interactive learning atmosphere. This proves that the implementation of this model can support a significant increase in student participation.

Abstract

The Social Studies Education course is expected to contribute to fostering student national awareness, social insight, social spirit, and social sensitivity to foster good social interaction in social life. In the learning process, social studies education courses must prioritize active learning. The case study learning method can make students better understand the material and master more contextual learning in accordance with the semester learning design that has been prepared. This article aims to: 1) describe the importance of case study-based social studies courses with learning innovations finding advantages, such as: a. students can be the main focus (student oriented) who strive to solve cases given during lectures; b. students can actively analyze and discuss cases given by lecturers to find solutions (problem solving).; 2) designing learning scenarios with the case study method in the Social Studies Education course. Abstract

This research utilizes digital media to support the effectiveness of classroom learning. Podcast digital learning media was chosen because it was considered easy for students to access. A podcast is a distribution of audio recordings made through the process of audio recording and editing which is then delivered over the internet. Using quality data analysis and Research and Development research methods, researchers develop and revise podcast products based on field test results. Qualitative data is taken from researcher questions and responses or validations from experts and class VI learners regarding the products developed. Through model of development addie was consisting of analysis , design , development , implementation , and evaluation .Field test results obtained that media is learning podcast suitable and effective for used as a medium learning .So , it is expected that the development media podcast to the matter is social class , educators and school tuition can take advantage of digital media to support the effectiveness of learning activities.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar penulisan sejarah yang didesain berdasarkan sintak project-based learning meliputi: penentuan proyek, perancangan langkah penyelesaian proyek, penyusunan jadwal, penyelesaian proyek, penyusunan laporan, dan evaluasi hasil proyek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research & Development (R&D) dengan berpedoman pada desain 4D dari Tiagarajan & Semmel yang terdiri dari: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Prototipe dari bahan ajar telah divalidasi oleh para ahli dan di uji cobakan di sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X di SMAN 2 Ponorogo dengan jumlah 114 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar penulisan sejarah berbasis project-based learning adalah valid dan dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan. Bahan ajar ini mampu membantu peserta didik dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan konsep yang terlihat pada proses dan hasil belajar yang didapatkan. Adapun pengukungan peningkatan prestasi belajar sejarah diukur melalui pretest dan posttest.Kata Kunci: Bahan ajar penulisan sejarah, project-based learning, prestasi sejarah

Abstract

Pesantren berperan penting dalam sejarah pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, tidak hanya sebagai pusat transmisi ilmu agama, tetapi juga sebagai lembaga pembinaan moral masyarakat. Palembang, sebagai salah satu pusat dakwah di Sumatera Selatan, melahirkan banyak lembaga pendidikan Islam, termasuk Pondok Pesantren Ar-Riyadh 13 Ulu yang berdiri pada 1973. Penelitian ini muncul karena masih minimnya kajian historis jangka panjang mengenai pesantren di Palembang, padahal Ar-Riyadh telah mengalami berbagai fase perkembangan, mulai dari Orde Baru, Reformasi, hingga era digitalisasi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejarah berdirinya, dinamika perkembangan fisik dan kelembagaan, serta peran sosial, politik, dan budaya pesantren hingga 2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah melalui empat tahapan utama, yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui studi pustaka, dokumen pesantren, serta wawancara dengan pimpinan dan guru, dengan tambahan pendekatan sosiologi dan antropologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren ini didirikan oleh Habib Abdurrahman bin Abdullah Al-Habsyi dengan tradisi keilmuan Hadramaut. Awalnya, bangunan pesantren masih sederhana dari kayu, namun berkembang menjadi gedung modern berkat dukungan masyarakat dan bantuan luar negeri. Jumlah santri terus meningkat hingga 2025 dengan kurikulum yang memadukan tradisi kitab kuning dan kurikulum nasional. Pesantren juga berperan sebagai lembaga dakwah, sosial, dan budaya, dengan kontribusi alumni yang nyata bagi masyarakat. Temuan ini menegaskan kemampuan Ar-Riyadh untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman tanpa meninggalkan identitas tradisional.
