Abstract

This article aims to describe the forms, actors, and motivations in the implementation of mutual cooperation in the Kertosari Indah Housing environment. This article uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results show that there are two forms of mutual cooperation that develop in the community, namely routine and incidental mutual cooperation. Mutual cooperation routine includes environmental cleaning activities, morning exercises, Friday Blessings, environmental security, and donations in monthly arisan. Meanwhile, incidental mutual cooperation arises in response to urgent situations such as calamities, deaths, and celebrations. These mutual cooperation activities are inseparable from the role of community leaders such as the heads of RW, RT, and Ta'mir Mosque, as well as the active participation of resident mothers. The main motivation for residents to participate in mutual cooperation is the perceived social benefits, such as an increased sense of togetherness, friendship, and solidarity. Despite facing challenges in terms of community participation, the mobilizers continue to build engagement through personal approaches and digital communication. Mutual cooperation in Kertosari Indah Housing has proven to strengthen social relations without causing primordialism, because it is based on the collective spirit of protecting the common environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the project method on social studies subjects at SDN Ngujung 2 Magetan Regency on student achievement in class IV. To examine these problems in more depth, this study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research method. The location of this research is SDN Ngujung 2, Maospati District, Magetan Regency. Therefore, to accelerate understanding and avoid misunderstanding, appropriate learning approaches and methods are needed, according to the level of psychological maturity of students. The recommended approach in KTSP and K13 is a contextual approach including the learning method. Based on the results of research starting from observations and tests, it can be concluded that the application of the project method greatly influences student achievement. This is evidenced by the results of tests carried out three (3) times during the study showing grade IV students at SDN Ngujung 2 Maospati obtained scores above the average, namely 80-100.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the customs and culture that exist in Mukomuko, which can then be used as a source of strengthening ethnopedagogy in the world of education. The research objectives are (1) what are the customs and culture of the Enam Kaum in Mukomuko Regency?, (2) what are the customs and culture of the Enam Kaum Mukomuko as a source of ethnopedagogy? The research method used is qualitative, with observation, documentation and interview techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis uses an interactive analysis model. The research results reveal that, firstly, historically, the original Mukomuko people came from West Sumatra, so they have many cultural and customary similarities with Minangkabau. The customs and culture that are strong in Mukomuko are the Enam Kaum, which is a typical Mukomuko kinship system. Consisting of the Berenams in the Upstream, the Beresams in the Downstream, the Eight Tribes in the Middle, the Five Tribes, the Fourteenth Tribes, and the Gersik Tribes. Second, the customs and culture of the Six Mukomuko Clans are very significant as a source of strengthening ethnopedagogy, with at least four components, namely; intangible traditions, material traditions, community history and strong Islamic religious beliefs. These four things can be a source of strengthening ethnopedagogy in the world of education in Mukomuko Regency.

Abstract

Industrialization has changed human perspective and morality. At the same time, government policies have encouraged students to become innovators. This policy has caused demoralization among Indonesian students in the Revolution 4.0 era. The research method used is descriptive using a qualitative approach, using observation, interviews, and formal and informal policy reviews available online. Objectively describes a university that has changed in response to government policies. Higher education processes have abandoned morality because they have industrialized and strived for innovation. Educational institutions cannot act independently because they are limited by the interests of the state. At the same time, it also fails to dynamically articulate the meaning of the digital revolution, which only focuses on products and workplaces. Criticism and reflection are needed to imbue students with decency and integrity. Such a constructive response is needed to curb the demoralization process that has occurred in the digital age.

Abstract

Correctional centers have the function and task of carrying out some of the main tasks of the Director General of Corrections in providing guidance to correctional clients in their area. The guidance provided by the Correctional Center can be in the form of work skills, one of which is entrepreneurship. One of the clients at the Class II Metro Correctional Center has a home-based bakery industry that has an impact on the client's income and future. Therefore, this study aims to determine the form of mentoring as well as the entrepreneurial process and results of the client's home bakery industry and also to find out what factors influence the home bakery production process and whether the motivation of the correctional client can affect the success of the home bakery industry production. The method in this study uses qualitative research methods with descriptive data analysis techniques in the form of case study approaches and literature studies. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the form of guidance carried out by Fathers can be in the form of personal or group guidance, namely with entrepreneurship training which will later produce a product in the form of home-made bread and the factors that influence the production process of home-made bread belonging to the correctional client including: equipment , raw materials and labor as well as the motivation of these correctional clients can affect the success of the home bakery industry production.

Abstract

Dalam rumpun ilmu sosial dan ilmu pendidikan di perguruan tinggi, mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS adalah salah satu mata kuliah wajib yang penting diajarkan. Pentingnya Pendidikan IPS diharapkan dapat berkontribusi untuk membangun kesadaran kebangsaan mahasiswa, memiliki wawasan sosial dan kepekaan sosial sehingga terciptanya interaksi sosial yang baik dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Idealnya, mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan kepada mahasiswa tetapi juga mampu mengajarkan nilai-nilai yang berangkat dari realitas sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat. Untuk itu, proses pembelajaran mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS harus mengedepankan pembelajaran aktif (student-center) sehingga mahasiswa mampu lebih berpikir kritis, komunikatif, dan reflektif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan pentingnya mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS yang active learning; 2) mendesain sebuah contoh skenario pembelajaran dengan metode “MIKIR” pada mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS. Pembelajaran aktif dengan metode “MIKIR” diadopsi dari pengembangan model pembelajaran Abad 21 yang dikembangkan oleh Tanoto Foundation. Singkatan dari metode “MIKIR” adalah Mengalami, Interaksi, Komunikasi, dan Refleksi. Metode ini berusaha menjawab tantangan pendidikan Abad ke-21 dan relevan dengan pembelajaran yang konstruktivistik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal awareness of Karang Taruna at the village level regarding Minister of Social Affairs Regulation No. 25 of 2019, highlighting the lack of knowledge and understanding in carrying out the duties of Karang Taruna. As a social organization responsible for developing youth potential and preventing and handling social problems, this organization is a strategic forum for improving local human resources. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the legal awareness of Karang Taruna Kampung II Dusun Maju Jaya is still relatively low. This organization is not yet aware of the existence of Minister of Social Affairs Regulation No. 25 of 2019, so the guidelines they use as a basis for their organization and for designing and implementing activities are limited to deliberations and activities that are often carried out. Legal awareness encourages entities to understand the law and carry out activities in accordance with it. The implications of this study confirm that legal awareness must continue to be improved, especially among social organizations that play an active role in improving the quality of human resources. Low legal awareness indirectly impacts activities that are less effective and have less of a tangible impact on the surrounding environment, as intended by Minister of Social Affairs Regulation No. 25 of 2019.

Abstract

Learning material is one of the main elements in learning process, including at university. Especially for museology subject, in ideal, learning material not only based on theory but aslo combination betwwen theoty and practice. This purposes of this research are: 1) need analysis the depeloving learning material of museology based on museum; 2) developing museology learning material based on museum; and 3) validating museology learning material. The study was a mixed method (qualitative and quantitative) with research and development design in consists on ten steps: Information Collecting, Planning, Develop Preliminary Form a Product, Preliminary Field Testing, Main Product Revition, Main Field Testing, Operational Product Revetion, Operational Field Testing, Final Product Revition dan Dissemination and Implementation. Based on the research, the results obtained are: 1) the development of museology learning material based on museum is much needed by students and lectures at Islamic Civilization History Department because lact of availability museology learning material and to solve students difficulty in understanding learning content; 2) museology learning material developed concist of three main parst: 1) introduction; 2) contents; and 3) closing. Especially for contents, learning material concist on seven chapter: 1) museum; 2) construction, facilities, and vision and mission; 3) organization structures; 4) collections; 5) information label and education; 6) marketing, cooperation and mjseum fees; and 7) exhibition; 3) validation results show that museology learning material based on museum is proper to used with a number notes.

Abstract

The Value of Budi Pekerti Education in Prabu Angling  Darma Folklore.  Indonesia has various kinds of folklore that contain the values of ethic education. This study aims to describe the values of ethic education contained in the folklore of Angling Darma scipt. The method this study is descriptive qualitative. The object of this research is the East Java folklore manuscript Prabu Angling Darma. Data collection using reading and note taking techniques. Data analysis this study includes data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of this study are the values of ethic education contained in the text of the folklore Prabu Angling Darma among others : fair, trustworthy, honest, hard work, affection, forgiveness, patience, and tawadhu (hamble).

Abstract

Maguti is one of the traditions that still exist in Jagir Village, Sine Subdistrict, Ngawi Regency, East Java. This research aims to provide information by describing one by one the equipment used in the implementation of the maguti tradition and describing the construction of the mindset of the Ngawi people towards the maguti tradition. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The source of data is from interviews. The result of this research is that Ngawi people have a mindset that the implementation of this maguti tradition has the aim of “Kangge bucal sengkolone kari segerwarase”, meaning to get rid of all negative things, stay safe. The implementation can be done when the baby is two hundred and forty-five days old, can also be done when stepping into adulthood or before marriage. The equipment (ubo rampe) in the maguti tradition is bucu, jenang abang putih, jenang sepuh, banyu suci, setaman flowers, sego udhuk, sego golong, gedhang setangkep, asahan, kopat lepet.
