Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence to student learning achievement I the class VIII social science subject at SMP Negeri 10 Bengkulu city. This study uses a type of quantitative method with a correlational approach to testing the relationship between two variables namely variable X and Y. The population of the study amounted to 191 students with a sample number of 66 students. Sampling techniques use random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques from this study are observation, questionnaires/ questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis tecniques in the form of a prerequisite test, namely data normalit test, data homogeneity test, and data hypothesis. For normality tests using the Chi Squared formula (count), while the data hypothesis testing uses a comprelative product moment. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that from the product moment corruption of ??? are 0,975. Then by viewing with the ?????? product moment coefficient of 66 is 0,975. Then it means greater than ?????? which is 0,975 ≥ 0,235. From this number showed a correlation between emotional intelligence to student learning achievement in the class VIII sosial science subject at SMP Negeri 10 Bengkulu city. Thus, for the alternative hypothesis (??) in the study was accepted, while the hypothesis of nihil (??) was rejected

Abstract

This article aims to: 1) identify environmental themes in the social studies textbook for class VII SMP Curriculum 2013; and 2) analyzing the representation of environmental problems in the social studies textbook material for Class VII Junior High School Curriculum 2013. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The research object was the social studies textbook material for class VII class VII curriculum 2013 revised edition published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2014. Data collection and data analysis were carried out using content analysis techniques. Based on the research conducted, it was found that: 1) there were as many as eight themes about the environment in the Social Science textbook for Class VII Curriculum 2013; 2) Of the eight themes concerning the environment, there are only a few themes that present environmental issues. Most of the other themes, although discussing the environment, do not present environmental issues at all. Some of the existing environmental problems are: river damage, forest destruction, and air and water pollution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; mendeskripsikan analisis penerapan konsep pendidikan agama Islam yang berwawasan lingkungan hidup dan budaya sekolah pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 4 Rejang Lebong. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskripsi kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis Trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa dalam materi Pendidikan Agama Islam terdapat bahasan yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan yang berwawasan lingkungan hidup dan budaya sekolah. Adapun materi yang dimaksudkan adalah semua bersih hidup jadi nyaman, makanan halal dan haram, indahnya kebersamaan dengan shalat berjama’ah, dan hadits tentang kebersihan. Jenis kegiatan yang berwawasan lingkungan hidup yang diterapkan di SMP negeri 4 Rejang Lebong adalah pengelolaan sampah, pohon lindung, drainase dan biopori, tanaman hias, Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS), dan kantin sehat. Sedangkan budaya sekolah yang diterapkan di SMP Negeri 4 Rejang Lebong adalah Budaya, salam,  sapa, senyum, sopan, dan santun (5S), disipilin, tanggung jawab, relegius, dan jujur.

Abstract

Emotional-social maturity is a crucial aspect of adolescent development, playing a significant role in shaping positive character and the ability to face challenges. This study focuses on adolescents aged 13–15 years, a transitional period marked by complex emotional and social dynamics influenced by internal factors such as hormonal changes and external factors including evolving relationships and societal demands. Emotional-sosial maturity, characterized by the ability to adapt to one's environment, manage emotions, and accomplish developmental tasks, is essential for academic success and social interaction. However, challenges such as emotional instability, social conflicts, and low self-efficacy often hinder this development.  This research explores the influence of Islamic spiritual mindfulness on emotional-social maturity among students in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMPN 9 Mandau. Mindfulness, rooted in the Islamic concept of *muraqabah*, emphasizes awareness of Allah’s constant presence, fostering self-control, gratitude, and emotional regulation. By incorporating mindfulness practices into PAI lessons, educators aim to enhance students' ability to manage emotions, reduce stress, and develop meaningful sosial interactions.   Using a quantitative approach, this study investigates the correlation between Islamic spiritual mindfulness and emotional-social maturity. Prior studies indicate that heightened mindfulness contributes to improved emotional intelligence, reduced psychological distress, and better self-management skills. The findings are expected to provide strategic insights into integrating mindfulness into education, supporting students' holistic development, and addressing challenges in emotional-social growth effectively.

Abstract

This research helps develop a business model for micro-enterprises in Islamic boarding schools that involves students in studying how Islamic boarding schools can integrate entrepreneurial activities with the religious and social education they provide. The main aim of this research is to evaluate entrepreneurial internship activities based on the responses of students who have carried out internship activities at the Al-Fatimah Bojonegoro Islamic Boarding School Micro Enterprise. The subjects of this research were ten students from the Social Sciences Education Study Program at Surabaya State University who took part in the 2023 Matching Fund program. Quantitative descriptive research method. Data collection was carried out through surveys using questionnaires and interviews, which were then tabulated, and percentages were analyzed and described qualitatively. The results of this research do not have an impact on aspects of study, curriculum, and professional competence because they do not match the profile of the main graduate, namely being a prospective social studies teacher, but are practically able to increase knowledge and experience in entrepreneurship. In the aspect of personal skills and entrepreneurial skills, students positively assess the entrepreneurial internship program so that through direct practice, it can open new insights into entrepreneurship for students. The results of this research contribute to the development of social science by presenting a concrete case study of how economic, social, and religious aspects are interrelated in an entrepreneurial internship activity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of social justice values on civic virtues among students at SMPN 7 Batanghari. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation with informants consisting of students, Civics Education teachers, and the vice principal for student affairs. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results show that the implementation of social justice values on civic virtues is reflected in three main indicators: (1) attitudes toward justice and equality showing positive tendencies, although there is still a small number of students who feel their group is superior; (2) ethics and civility in interaction that have been implemented through polite and inclusive communication habits; (3) awareness of law and rules at a moderate level with an understanding that rules are made for collective order. The implementation of social justice values is influenced by the role of teachers as role models, school culture, and consistency in rule enforcement

Abstract

Learning activities have an impact on student learning outcomes. With the use of relevant learning models, it will facilitate the process of teaching and learning activities to run well in accordance with learning outcomes. This study aims to find out how the influence of spatial literacy in the social studies learning process in high school elementary school. The research method used in this research is literature study with a qualitative approach and reduction technique. The results of the study show that Spatial Literacy can invite students to practice education, for example by using illustrations of map diagrams, observing detailed designs of demonstration sketches. In addition, the children were invited to make a mind mapping project, and analyze how things work, how to move, and an imitation model of the relationship between parts. Spatial literacy in social studies learning can also improve cognitive intelligence in children, improve students' affective and psychomotor skills, but must use the right learning media.

Abstract

spiritual development at the Class II A Purwokerto Penitentiary by taking a sample of 87 respondents by spreading questionnaires at random. The analysis of this study using IBM SPSS Statistics 21 was conducted against conformity variables (x) and inmate behavior variables (y). From the results of calculations that the t test (signification) is obtained the result that the value of t calculates >t table (4.211 > 2,007) with a signification ratio of 0.000<0.05 or in other words that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. The results showed the percentage of influence given by conformity variables to the behavior of inmates conducted a determination test where in the test obtained the number R square of 0.524.This shows the magnitude of the influence caused by variable conformity as a free variable has an effect of 52.4% on the variable Behavior of Prisoners as bound variables, the remaining 47.6% is another factor that is not studied by researchers. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and very significant relationship between conformity to the behavior of inmates in Lapas Class II A Purwokerto.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the role of KH. Zainuddin Abdul Majid in efforts to improve the education level of the people of Lombok, focusing on his contributions in the fields of religious and social education. KH Zainuddin Abdul Majid, as a prominent Islamic scholar, not only provided religious teachings but also pioneered the establishment of educational institutions that emphasised equal access to education for the community, particularly in Lombok. Through a relevant and open approach, he succeeded in introducing an education system that integrated religious values with the community's need for modern education. This study outlines various efforts made by KH. Zainuddin Abdul Majid, including the establishment of pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), providing training for educators, and his influence on the development of formal education in the region. Using a historical and qualitative approach, this research also explores the long-term impact of KH. Zainuddin Abdul Majid's influence on the social and economic transformation of the Lombok community through education.

Abstract

Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics for 2021, the comparative results of the Indonesian people's interest in watching dance are still very low compared to their interest in watching film and music. This is also felt by the fate of Dongkrek Art, which is currently on the verge of worry because every year there is always news of the lack of participation of the younger generation. So efforts to preserve this art involve students in Dongkrek Art activities. Specifically, this research was conducted to examine the cultural strategy implemented by Balerejo 1 Public Middle School, Madiun Regency in preserving Dongkrek Art through extracurricular activities. With an analysis of cultural strategy theory by Van Peursen it was chosen because it helps modern humans to be more aware of their culture. This research methodology is qualitative with a case study approach. The informants in this study were the Dongkrek Arts teacher, the school principal, and members of the Dongkrek team, students of Balerejo 1 Middle School. The results of the study show that at the mystical stage, people believe that to expel pageblug they have to do the Dongkrek traditional art. Then, the ontological stage of the school began to introduce Dongkrek Art through learning materials as a symbol of cultural heritage. The community functionalist stage begins to develop Dongkrek Art into an attractive appearance with an innovation and relationship strategy. The results of this study are expected to be a source of reference for further research and become teaching materials related to Indonesian culture.
