Abstract

This study examines in depth the dynamics of social entrepreneurship innovation arising from the resilience of the Cireundeu Indigenous Community in facing modernization pressures in Cimahi City, West Java. Cireundeu represents one of the most compelling cases of an indigenous community that has successfully transformed resistance to the current of modernization into productive social entrepreneurship innovation grounded in the local wisdom of "tatali paranti karuhun." The study employs a qualitative methodology with an ethnographic approach, involving participatory observation, in-depth interviews with 28 informants, and Focus Group Discussions. Data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model integrating a community-based social entrepreneurship framework, socio-ecological resilience theory, and indigenous knowledge perspectives. The findings reveal three mutually reinforcing dimensions of social entrepreneurship innovation: (1) communal entrepreneurship based on "tatali paranti karuhun," which creates collective enterprises for local cassava food management with a unique customary governance system; (2) transformative market innovation through the Rasi Cireundeu brand, integrating Sundanese cultural values with contemporary creative economies; and (3) participatory cultural ecotourism as a social business model that simultaneously strengthens cultural identity and delivers local economic sovereignty. This study demonstrates that indigenous community resilience is not merely passive defense but an active process that generates innovative entrepreneurial solutions addressing contemporary challenges while preserving cultural identity. The research contributes to the development of social entrepreneurship theory by proposing the Indigenous-Based Social Entrepreneurship Model (IBSEM), which emphasizes local wisdom as the primary capital for sustainable innovation. The findings carry important policy implications for strengthening indigenous community economies, developing culturally grounded entrepreneurship curricula, and formulating an inclusive development paradigm that respects cultural diversity and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Finding the causes of the low enrollment in the M.Ed. program is the aim of this study. To accomplish the goals of the study, the researcher will employ the survey research method. In order to produce capable educational leaders, policymakers, and researchers, the Master of Education (M.Ed.) program is crucial. However, many schools have seen a drop in enrollment in recent years, which is alarming given the growing demand for high-quality education and changes that call for qualified workers. To produce such professionals, high-quality teacher education primarily through programs like the M.Ed. is essential. The results demonstrate that educational planners, legislators, and institutions are gravely concerned about the reasons behind low enrollment. Students’ choices may be influenced by elements including few employment options, expensive tuition, a lack of understanding of the program’s worth, and competition from other courses. By recognizing these problems, institutions can boost postgraduate education and increase enrollment.

Abstract

This study aim to explain the marketing landscape is undergoing a transformation driven by the rapid development of technology. Currently, the promotion of products and services is predominantly executed through social media, a shift compelled by changes in consumer behavior. In Indonesia, for instance, approximately 73.7% of the total population are social media users. This study aims to broaden the understanding of the effectiveness of social media platforms as digital marketing channels by incorporating psychological techniques in the context of sustainable business. Employing a qualitative method with an inductive approach, this research seeks to develop novel theories and concepts based on the presented data. The author’s focus on the psychology of digital marketing within sustainable business makes this study unique, as relatively few works have specifically addressed this domain. The findings indicate that TikTok Shop is considered superior due to its integration of social media and e-commerce functionalities. The cooperative leverages psychological factors, specifically social proof, loss aversion, anchoring, framing, and commitment, which are disseminated through posters and marketing videos. While all these psychological factors contribute to increased consumer purchase intention, commitment was found to have a comparatively smaller impact than the others.
