Abstract

This study aims to analyse the process and implementation of land dispute resolution in urban areas of Indonesia, with a focus on legal aspects and agrarian reform policies. The main issues raised include the high rate of land conflicts, the resolution process through litigation and non-litigation channels, and the administrative and social obstacles encountered in practice. This study uses a juridical-empirical approach with case study and literature review methods, as well as taking into account relevant laws and regulations. The results show that dispute resolution through mediation and conciliation at the land office is an effective solution, but still faces obstacles in terms of public understanding and limited administrative data. Comprehensive implementation of agrarian reform policies is believed to be capable of reducing land conflicts in urban areas if supported by inter-institutional synergy and community empowerment. This study concludes that the success of land dispute resolution depends not only on the accuracy of regulations, but also on social aspects, public education, and improving the quality of implementing officials.

Abstract

This study discusses legal protection of patients' rights and the legal responsibilities of medical personnel in health services in Indonesia. Patients' rights as recipients of health services are fundamental rights that must be protected through various regulations such as Law No. 36 of 2009 concerning Health and Law No. 44 of 2009 concerning Hospitals, which guarantee the rights to information, privacy, and service safety. On the other hand, medical personnel have legal responsibilities that include criminal, civil, and administrative responsibilities to ensure safe, professional, and standard-compliant services. This study uses a literature review method with an analysis of relevant laws, legal literature, and court decisions. The results of the study show that although a legal framework is in place, there are still challenges in implementing patient rights protection and enforcing the legal responsibilities of medical personnel, particularly in relation to understanding rights and obligations, access to justice, and complaint mechanisms. Strengthening regulations, education, and mechanisms for supervision and dispute resolution are essential to improve the quality of equitable health services in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of reward and work environment on employee performance through work discipline at BMB Air-Langga, an educational institution. A total of 84 permanent employees participated in the research, providing data through structured questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale. The validity and reliability of the instruments were verified using SPSS version 25, employing Pearson correlation for validity and Cronbach’s Alpha for reliability (α > 0.70). Descriptive analysis was conducted to assess respondents’ perceptions of the variables, while inferential analysis via path analysis with SPSS was used to investigate the causal relationships among reward, work environment, work discipline, and employee performance. The results reveal that both reward and work environment positively and significantly impact employee performance, both directly and indirectly through work discipline as a mediating variable. The findings support the theoretical premise that effective human resource management practices, including fair compensation and a supportive work environment, enhance employee discipline and motivation, ultimately leading to improved performance. This research contributes practical insights for organizational leaders seeking to optimize performance through targeted HR strategies, utilizing SPSS in quantitative analysis to ensure robust and valid conclusions.

Abstract

This study explores the interplay between organizational culture, work motivation, and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in shaping employee performance within community-based ecotourism at Clungup Mangrove Conservation (CMC). The findings highlight that a strong, value-aligned organizational culture fosters voluntary and pro-conservation behaviors among employees. Motivation acts as a crucial mediating factor, translating cultural values into tangible actions supporting conservation and service excellence. OCB serves as a vital bridge, enabling employees to go beyond formal roles, thereby enhancing both performance and sustainability outcomes. The research underscores the importance of holistic strategies that integrate cultural reinforcement, motivational enhancement, and encouragement of discretionary behaviors to achieve sustainable ecotourism performance. These insights contribute to the theoretical and practical understanding of human resource management in conservation-oriented organizations and emphasize the significance of cultivating a shared organizational ethos to promote behavioral commitment and community engagement.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of organizational culture, work environment, and leadership on employee performance within the Regional Secretariat of Malaka Regency, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach with a causal research design, data were collected from 139 civil servants using a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that both organizational culture and work environment have a significant positive impact on employee performance, particularly when they foster innovation, transparency, and collaboration. Leadership also demonstrates a positive effect, although to a lesser extent compared to the other two variables. The combined effect of the three independent variables accounts for 49.7% of the variation in employee performance. This study provides practical implications for public sector management by emphasizing the need to strengthen organizational culture, create a supportive and conducive work environment, and enhance leadership effectiveness. The findings also contribute to the broader literature on human resource management in government institutions, particularly in emerging economies.
