Abstract

This research explains and analyses the policy models that have been carried out in handling boundary disputes in Ternate City. There are several policy models that have been carried out by the government and there are also policy models carried out by the Sultanate of Ternate. Of course, the policies that have been carried out by the Sultanate of Ternate are part of local wisdom policies based on the values of the Ternate indigenous people. The results show that the government policy model in handling boundary disputes in Ternate City is through multilevel mediation, starting from village level mediation to the Ternate City government. In addition, there is also a policy model carried out by the Sultanate of Ternate in deciding several options in determining boundaries in accordance with Idin Kolano (Order of the Sultan of Ternate), namely the first option, after opening the location of the Deru-deru Book Landfill (TPA), then the southern landfill boundary with the determination of the Yakis Fruit District (Jambu Monkey) is divided in half between Takome and Sulamadaha, the second option, the entrance to Jiko Malamo is divided in half between Takome and Sulamadaha, and the third option, the landfill location is divided in half between Takome and Sulamadaha.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the importance of narrative consistency and brand identity across various digital channels, particularly websites, social media, email, and marketplaces, in building consumer trust and increasing brand recognition. Through a systematic literature review approach, this study analyses the relationship between brand communication consistency and two strategic elements, namely consumer trust and brand recognition. The results show that consistent narratives prevent message contradictions, strengthen perceptions of brand authenticity and credibility, and increase consumer loyalty. Meanwhile, consistent visual and verbal identities have been proven to accelerate brand recognition, build strong associations, and create sustainable differentiation in a competitive market. In practical terms, this study emphasises the importance of developing comprehensive brand guidelines and implementing integrated cross-channel communication strategies to deliver a harmonious brand experience. These findings not only enrich the academic literature on branding in the digital context but also have real implications for companies seeking to build sustainable competitive advantage in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership, perceived organizational support, person-job fit, and technology acceptance on employee performance mediated by remuneration at National Private Banks in West Java. The study applies a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data collection is cross-sectional with questionnaires distributed to 300 employees of National Private Bank Book 3 in West Java. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using AMOS was applied to the collected data. The novelty of this study lies in the addition of remuneration as a mediating variable. The study found that transformational leadership, perceived organizational support, person-job fit, and technology acceptance influence remuneration. Transformational leadership, perceived organizational support, person-job fit, and technology acceptance influence employee performance, and remuneration mediates the influence of transformational leadership, perceived organizational support, person-job fit, and technology acceptance on employee performance. Management should design a remuneration system that is transparent, performance-based, and capable of providing adequate rewards commensurate with employees' contributions and work achievements. This system should integrate balanced financial and non-financial aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and effectiveness of machine learning in predicting public health risks, focusing on applications in preventive epidemiology. Using a literature review, this study examines various empirical studies, predictive models, and algorithmic approaches that have been used to detect potential outbreaks and disease risk factors at the community level. The review demonstrates that machine learning has significant potential to support public health systems through its large-scale data analysis capabilities, identification of hidden patterns in epidemiological data, and increased accuracy in predicting disease spread. Furthermore, the integration of machine learning with real-time health data enables faster and more targeted preventive intervention planning. However, the study also identified challenges related to data quality, limited digital infrastructure, and ethical and privacy issues in the use of health data. Based on the literature findings, this study confirms that optimizing the application of machine learning in preventive epidemiology requires synergy between technology development, public health policy, and responsible data governance.

Abstract

The increasing accumulation of plastics and chemical pollutants in marine ecosystems has become a critical environmental concern, threatening biodiversity, food web stability, and human health. Plastics, particularly microplastics and nanoplastics, not only persist in the environment but also act as vectors for toxic chemical compounds such as persistent organic pollutants (POPs), heavy metals, and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). This study aims to unravel the combined environmental footprint of plastics and associated chemicals on marine food networks by synthesizing findings from recent empirical and modeling studies. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted using Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and MDPI databases, covering publications from 2015 to 2025. Forty-two peer-reviewed articles were selected based on PRISMA 2020 guidelines, focusing on topics related to microplastic contamination, chemical pollutant interactions, bioaccumulation, and trophic transfer. Data were analyzed through descriptive and thematic analysis, identifying key pathways, ecological impacts, and knowledge gaps. Findings reveal that microplastics facilitate the adsorption and transport of chemical pollutants through ingestion and trophic transfer, leading to bioaccumulation and, in some cases, biomagnification across trophic levels. Combined exposure induces oxidative stress, endocrine disruption, growth inhibition, and reproductive failure in marine organisms. These synergistic effects disrupt food web dynamics, reduce biomass, and pose emerging risks to seafood safety and human health. The review also identifies critical knowledge gaps in multipollutant interactions, long-term field studies, and integrated modeling approaches. This study emphasizes the need for multidisciplinary research, evidence-based policies, and integrated management strategies to mitigate the dual threats of plastic and chemical pollution. Strengthening global collaboration, enforcing stricter regulations on plastic additives, improving waste management systems, and promoting ocean monitoring programs are essential for safeguarding marine ecosystems and achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 14 (Life Below Water) and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being).

Abstract

This study discusses the representation of religious moderation in Habib Husein Ja'far Al-Hadar's YouTube content through a video titled “Duduk Bersama Budha.” Using Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic analysis, this study examines the signifiers and signified meanings in the conversation between Habib Ja'far and Bhikkhu Dhirapunno that illustrate the values of religious moderation. The results of the analysis show that the content represents tolerance, openness, respect for different traditions and beliefs, and an emphasis on universal human values. Religious moderation is present through a dialogue that emphasizes the common moral principles in Islam and Buddhism, such as love, anti-violence, balance in life, and the relevance of religious teachings to the development of the times. This representation is not only a practice of moderate interfaith preaching, but also shows how social media, especially YouTube, can be a strategic medium for spreading messages of tolerance, nationalism, and peace in a multicultural society. Thus, Habib Ja'far's digital preaching content has proven to be relevant as an alternative discourse in maintaining religious harmony in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of legal protection of land ownership rights in the context of overlapping certificates caused by land mafia activities in Pagedangan Subdistrict, with a study of Decision Number 471/Pid/2020/PT.DKI. The phenomenon of overlapping certificates is a crucial problem that threatens legal certainty and justice for legitimate land owners, exacerbated by the practice of land mafia illegally manipulating the land administration system. Through qualitative juridical methods and analysis of court decisions, this study reveals how the implementation and effectiveness of legal protection still face significant challenges, including weak supervision and collusion among officials. In addition, this study highlights the role of land mafia in creating double certificates and the resulting social, economic, and legal impacts, as well as the legal implications of the decision as an effort to enforce criminal law. The results of this study provide strategic recommendations to strengthen the land administration system and law enforcement, as well as the need to empower the community so that land ownership rights are optimally protected.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of bureaucracy in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include sustainable development, social justice, and poverty alleviation. Through a literature review, this study examines how public administration as a bureaucratic system plays a role in formulating, implementing, and evaluating inclusive and sustainable development policies. The findings show that bureaucracy has a strategic role as a coordinator and implementer of policies that must be able to innovate, adapt, and establish multisectoral partnerships to overcome various development challenges. However, obstacles such as fragmentation of implementation, limited human resource capacity, and lack of transparency remain major obstacles. Therefore, bureaucratic reform that prioritises accountability, digital technology, and public participation is crucial to optimising the role of the bureaucracy in achieving SDG targets effectively and sustainably.
