Abstract

It is hoped that the potential of a digital tax will provide a sense of justice, create a level playing field and healthy competition and increase economic growth. In the current era of the digital economy, countries with a high number of internet users such as Indonesia have to face many challenges. One of these challenges concerns digital taxes. Digital tax itself can generally be interpreted as a tax policy that is imposed or imposed on companies engaged in digital business globally. The toughest challenge in digitizing taxation is the quality of human resources. Ignorance or technology failure is a problem that must be overcome by the government so that this tax digitalization program is easy to implement. Tax digitalization is actually an initial step towards an increasingly improving economy while maintaining tax efficiency, transparency and fairness. This is to increase public awareness of taxes in order to achieve a stable economy. This research is research using the literature study method. This research discusses the definition of digital tax, the development of digital tax in the era of globalization, the challenges of digital tax, the benefits of digital tax for the government, the positive implications of digital tax for entrepreneurs, differences in regulations in various countries, compliance and supervision issues, collaboration between countries and digital tax system innovation.

Abstract

This article explored the legal challenges surrounding the import and sale of second-hand clothing in Indonesia, focusing on the intersection between sustainability goals and regulatory frameworks. The research aimed to analyze the tension between the environmental benefits of reuse practices and the strict prohibition stipulated in Indonesian trade regulations, particularly Article 47 paragraph (1) of Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 40 of 2022. Employing normative juridical methods supported by statute and conceptual approaches, the study investigated both domestic and international legal norms, including WTO principles and sustainable development goals (SDGs). The findings revealed a legal paradox: while importing second-hand clothing supported circular economy practices and reduced textile waste, it was simultaneously deemed illegal under the prevailing laws, creating regulatory inconsistency. The article argued for a more balanced legal reform that aligned trade policy with sustainability imperatives, promoting legal certainty and environmental responsibility. This research contributed to the broader discourse on green lawmaking in developing countries and underscored the importance of harmonizing domestic regulations with global sustainability commitments.

Abstract

This study explores the transformative shifts in urban governance, socioeconomic dynamics, and infrastructural development during the tenure of Anies Baswedan as the Governor of Jakarta. Through a comprehensive literature review, it examines the multifaceted impacts of Baswedan's leadership on Jakarta's urban landscape. Baswedan's administration has been marked by ambitious policies addressing social inequalities, promoting economic growth, and enhancing infrastructure. Initiatives such as the Jakarta Smart City program, the One Million Trees Movement, and the Jakarta MRT expansion have sought to modernize governance, foster environmental sustainability, and improve the quality of life for residents. However, challenges persist in social welfare, economic inclusion, and sustainable development, underscoring the complexities of governing a rapidly growing megacity. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of urban governance paradigms by synthesizing insights from diverse disciplinary perspectives. It offers valuable insights into the opportunities and challenges of leadership in dynamic urban contexts.

Abstract

The development of computer technology has undergone a significant evolution from the outset as a mechanical tool for calculating and storing data into systems capable of performing tasks with artificial intelligence. Digitization of data and processes has driven efficiency in various aspects of life, while the development of artificial intelligence enables machines to learn, adapt, and perform tasks that normally require human intelligence. The research method in this research is the study of literature by finding the theory in accordance with the context of penalty. The results of this research reveal that the development of computer technology has driven major innovations in a variety of fields, including industrial automation, development of autonomous cars, and the application of artificial intelligence in health. However, while these developments bring positive benefits such as improved efficiency and ease of access to information, there are also new challenges such as concerns about privacy and the impact of artificial intelligence on everyday life. The development of computer technology continues, and in the future we will probably see more innovations that will affect the way we live and work. It is therefore important to ensure that these developments are managed wisely, considering their impact on society and finding the right balance between technological progress and the general interest.

Abstract

This article reviews the literature on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation technologies, and the accompanying regulatory efforts in the digital era. AI and automation have progressed rapidly, bringing benefits such as higher operational efficiency, cost reduction, and innovation in various sectors. However, these developments also bring significant challenges including privacy issues, algorithm bias, and labour impacts. Regulation plays a key role in guiding these technological developments, with the aim of protecting personal data, increasing transparency and accountability, and preventing discrimination. This article highlights the importance of creating responsive and proactive policies so that the benefits of AI and automation can be optimised, while the risks are minimised.

Abstract

This research aims to find out (1) How high is the fluency in pronunciation of the letters of the Qur'an through the talaqqi method at Al-Ahbab TPA, Cipare-pare Village, Sultan Daulat District, Subussalam City. (2) Is there an effect of using the talaqqi method in speeding up the reading of the Al-Qur'an at TPA? The application of the talaqqi method on fluency in reading the letters of the Al- Qur'an at TPA Al-Ahbab. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with an experimental approach. Researchers used the pre-experimental design method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students at the Al-Ahbab Al-Qur'an Education Park, totaling 26 students, while the sample was 15 students who were studying the Al-Qur'an class. The instrument used in research is a test. The test results after testing normality, homogeneity and hypothesis with the help of the SPSS 16 program found that the average value obtained was 60.40, while the average posttest value was 83.26, so an N-gain was obtained of 0.6, meaning that this experimental class experienced an increase. The result is at value (12.980), and a significant (2- tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, so that H1 is accepted, and H0 is rejected. There is a difference in the learning achievement of students between the application of the talaqqi method and the application of the previous method in learning to read the letters of the Koran. There is a significant influence of applying the talaqqi method on fluency in reading the letters of the Koran at Al-Ahbab TPA. Thus, the application of the talaqqi method to improve fluency in reading the letters of the Koran at the Al-Ahbab Al-Qur'an Education Park shows better results compared to not using the talaqqi method.

Abstract

One effort to improve the quality of education is to improve the quality of educational institutions. In an effort to improve the quality of educational institutions, we do not only fulfill the input and output aspects, but what is more important is the process aspect. Starting from making a decision, managing the planned program, the management process, the process of teaching and learning activities and the process for monitoring and evaluation. In this context, the learning process has the highest level of significance when compared with other processes (Sum & Taran, 2020). The success of the learning process is always closely tied to the quality of the teacher as the main actor. Therefore, a qualified teacher is needed in an effort to improve the quality of the institution Soft skills management is very important for education teachers so that it will have an impact on improving the quality of educational institutions and can have a direct impact on teachers. In order to support the achievement of institutional quality, teachers should always hone and optimize their soft skills. These include communication, interpersonal skills, team building, critical thinking, positive attitudes, establishing relationships with students, parents and the community. In future research, further study is needed regarding soft skills management for teachers with various individual and institutional backgrounds in order to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The study aims to understand the challenges and opportunities of implementing e-Government in an effort to improve transparency and accountability of government. Digital technology has changed the way government works, and e- Government can play a key role in driving a more democratic and transparent government. However, the implementation of e-Government also faces challenges. Using a literature research approach, the study identifies and analyzes opportunities and challenges in e-Government implementation. Research results indicate that e-government has significant benefits in increasing transparency and accountability through better provision of information to the public, more inclusive decision-making processes, and more efficient public services. However, it was also found that problems such as inadequate infrastructure capacity, cybersecurity issues, as well as cultural and social barriers could undermine the effectiveness of e-Government. Overall, studies show that despite the challenges, the opportunities offered by e-Government in improving governance are substantive, noting that the issues identified need to be addressed with appropriate policies and multi-stakeholder involvement. Further research is suggested to explore the latest applications of technology in e-Government, such as AI and blockchain, and to evaluate these implementations in a broader context, looking at their social, economic, and political implications in depth.

Abstract

In facing increasingly complex global challenges, having a deep understanding of cultural identity can be an invaluable asset. The millennial generation has the potential to be a powerful bringer of change by combining indigenous cultural wisdom and global insight. As a generation that continues to move forward in the modern era, the millennial generation's tendency to gain inspiration from foreign cultures cannot be ignored. This phenomenon, although controversial, reflects a drive for exploration and openness to the wider world. However, in this journey, it is important for the millennial generation not to forget their own cultural roots. Indigenous culture is a milestone of identity that connects the past with the future, reminding us of our rich historical roots and precious heritage. The millennial generation can enrich their knowledge about their own culture. Apart from being preserved in two forms, local culture can also be preserved by getting to know the culture itself. In this way, at least cultural piracy can be anticipated by other countries. The problem that often occurs in society is that sometimes they don't feel proud of their own products or culture.

Abstract

Economic empowerment is carried out to encourage, motivate and explore the potential of the community. That way, the condition of society will change from being helpless to being empowered. These empowerment efforts require support from various parties. Among them are the government and also non-governmental organizations. There is a goal of community economic empowerment that needs to be known, namely for the community to increase their income, solve the problems they face, and develop a system for accessing the necessary resources. The goal of community economic empowerment is to improve a community's quality of life, independence, and prosperity by addressing a variety of issues within that community. By granting more equitable access to financial resources and commercial possibilities, economic empowerment can contribute to the reduction of economic inequality. This study conducted an exploratory evaluation of the literature using a qualitative descriptive approach. Techniques for library research are used in the data collection process. This research discusses the definition and scope of economic empowerment, theories related to economic empowerment, economic empowerment policies, challenges and obstacles in implementing economic empowerment policies.
