Abstract

This study aims to examine the development process of a PMRI-based module supported by the GeoGebra application for teaching geometric transformations, and to determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness for students of class XIB at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design, following the ADDIE development model, which consists of five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The resulting product is a PMRI-based instructional module integrated with GeoGebra for the topic of geometric transformations.The trial subjects were 21 students from class XIB. The instruments used in this study included expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, learning implementation observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and learning outcome tests. Findings from the limited-trial phase indicated that: (1) the validation scores for both the instructional materials and research instruments reached an average of 4.3, classified as highly valid, as all evaluated components fell within the interval 4 ≤ M ≤ 5; (2) the module demonstrated practicality, shown by the average student response rate of 90.4% and the teacher response rate of 90%, both categorized as positive; and (3) the module met the criteria for effectiveness, as evidenced by an average teacher performance score of 4.6 (very good), an average student activity percentage of 76% (good), and student learning outcomes achieving a mastery level of 85.8%. Based on the results of the limited trial, it can be concluded that the development of the PMRI-Based Module supported by GeoGebra for teaching geometric transformations at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa meets the established criteria for validity, practicality, and effectiveness.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan proses penanaman nilai-nilai positif kepada peserta didik melalui berbagai metode yang efektif sehingga nilai tersebut dapat diterapkan secara sadar tanpa paksaan. Keberhasilan penanaman pendidikan karakter memerlukan sinergi seluruh komponen sekolah, baik melalui program unggulan sekolah maupun peran aktif guru dalam membimbing peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya SMK Negeri Kalibaru dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter berbasis pembiasaan, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya, serta mengetahui hasil dari penerapan pendidikan karakter tersebut pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, di mana peneliti berperan sebagai instrumen utama, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara yang sebagian besar dilaksanakan secara daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya penanaman pendidikan karakter berbasis pembiasaan di SMK Negeri Kalibaru telah berjalan sesuai dengan program sekolah, meskipun terdapat beberapa faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaannya. Secara umum, proses penanaman karakter pada peserta didik berhasil dengan baik, di mana penerapan reward dan punishment turut membantu guru dalam menanamkan kedisiplinan serta membiasakan peserta didik untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter sehingga program sekolah dapat berjalan sebagaimana mestinya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profesionalisme kerja dan kualitas pelayanan publik terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor BAPPELITBANGDA Kabupaten Teluk Bintuni, Provinsi Papua Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 37 pegawai dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh, sedangkan data yang dapat diolah sebanyak 30 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan IBM SPSS versi 23.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial profesionalisme kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, sedangkan kualitas pelayanan publik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Secara simultan, profesionalisme kerja dan kualitas pelayanan publik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor BAPPELITBANGDA Kabupaten Teluk Bintuni. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kinerja pegawai lebih dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pelayanan publik, sementara profesionalisme kerja perlu ditingkatkan agar dapat memberikan kontribusi yang lebih optimal terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

The transformation of education in the Society 5.0 era requires the integration of digital technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and spiritual values in the learning process. Islamic Religious Education (IRE) is no longer focused solely on the conventional transfer of religious knowledge, but must also be capable of developing a Muslim generation that is adaptive, critical, creative, and spiritually grounded amid the rapid advancement of modern technology. This study aims to analyze the transformation of Islamic Religious Education based on Artificial Intelligence and digital literacy in strengthening the spirituality of the Muslim generation in the Society 5.0 era. This research employs a qualitative approach through library research and conceptual analysis of various scientific literature related to AI, digital literacy, Islamic education, and the development of digital society. The findings reveal that the integration of AI and digital literacy into Islamic Religious Education can enhance learning effectiveness, interactivity, personalization, and broader global access to Islamic education. However, this transformation must remain rooted in Islamic moral values, ethics, and spiritual development to ensure that technology does not diminish the essence of Islamic education itself. Therefore, a transformative Islamic education model is needed to balance technological advancement with character building and students’ spiritual development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of digital media in Arabic language learning at MTs Raudhatul Hasanah Tanjung Jabung Timur and its influence on student motivation and learning outcomes. The development of educational technology requires teachers to be able to utilize digital media as an effective, interactive, and appropriate learning tool in accordance with the characteristics of the digital generation. However, in practice, Arabic learning in madrassas is still dominated by conventional methods that cause low student motivation to learn. This study uses a mixed method approach with a sequential explanatory design. The research sample consisted of 56 grade VIII students and 2 Arabic teachers. Data collection techniques use observation, learning motivation questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics, simple regression tests, and interactive qualitative analysis. The results show that the use of digital media such as interactive PowerPoint, learning videos, application-based quizzes, and online learning platforms has a positive influence on student motivation and learning outcomes. The average value of learning motivation increased from 65.2 to 84.6, while the average learning outcome increased from 68.4 to 86.1. The results of the regression test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 which means that digital media has a significant effect on Arabic language learning. The novelty of this research lies in the use of digital media based on the context of rural madrasas with limited facilities but still effective through a simple and adaptive approach. This study recommends strengthening teachers' digital literacy to improve the quality of Arabic learning in madrasas.

Abstract

The formation of environmental care character in students is one of the challenges in the world of education, especially in the management of a curriculum that has not fully integrated environmental values systematically. Therefore, the concept of eco-restraint is one of the approaches that can be applied in curriculum management to instill ecological awareness in students. This study aims to analyze curriculum management in the formation of student eco-student character at Jarinabi Islamic Junior High School. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that curriculum management in the formation of eco-student character is carried out through the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of curriculum that are integrated with learning activities and school environmental programs. The implementation of the curriculum has a positive impact on the formation of students' character, especially in fostering an attitude of environmental care, responsibility, and discipline. The implications of this study show that the management of an eco-learning-based curriculum can be an effective strategy in supporting the formation of environmentally conscious students' character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the muhadatsah method in improving students' speaking skills (maharah kalam) in Arabic learning at MTs Al-Ishlah Tanjung Jabung Timur. The background of this study is based on the low Arabic speaking ability of students caused by the dominance of conventional learning methods oriented toward grammar memorization and translation. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of all eighth-grade students of MTs Al-Ishlah, with a sample of 60 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data collection techniques included oral tests, observation, documentation, and supporting interviews. Data analysis was conducted through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class was 82.4, higher than the control class score of 71.6. The t-test result showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the muhadatsah method significantly affected students' speaking skill improvement. The novelty of this study lies in the implementation of context-based muhadatsah using students' daily life situations in rural madrasah settings, which has not been widely discussed in previous studies. This study recommends the systematic use of the muhadatsah method in Arabic language learning at the junior Islamic school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems of basic nahwu learning in students of MTs Al-Irsyad Tanjung Jabung Timur and the efforts of teachers in overcoming them. Nahwu as one of the important branches of learning Arabic is often considered a difficult, abstract, and boring material by students. These difficulties have an impact on the low understanding of Arabic sentence structure and weak ability to read Arabic texts. This study uses a mixed method approach with qualitative dominance through a sequential exploratory design. The research subjects consisted of 2 Arabic teachers, 1 madrasah head, and 48 grade VIII students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, learning difficulty questionnaires, documentation, and diagnostic tests. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawn, and quantitative descriptive statistical strengthening. The results of the study show that the main problems of basic nahwu learning include low mastery of mufradat, weak understanding of the concept of i'rab, learning methods that are still teacher-centered, lack of learning media, and low student learning motivation. The average score of students' understanding of nahwu only reached 61.8 from the minimum completeness standard of 75. The novelty of this research lies in the analysis of basic nahwu problems based on the context of rural madrasas with limited learning resources and solution approaches through the integration of contextual examples of student life. This study recommends the application of nahwu learning that is more communicative, simple, and contextual so that students can more easily understand the structure of the Arabic language.

Abstract

Program Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) merupakan upaya pembinaan kesehatan peserta didik melalui tiga pilar, yaitu pendidikan kesehatan, pelayanan kesehatan, dan pembinaan lingkungan sehat. Namun dalam praktiknya, pelaksanaan UKS di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi berbagai hambatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program UKS serta hambatan dan tantangan yang muncul dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, pembina UKS, guru, dan siswa. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan UKS sudah berjalan, tetapi belum optimal. Hambatan yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan fasilitas ruang UKS, minimnya anggaran, kurangnya pelatihan khusus bagi pembina UKS, serta rendahnya kesadaran siswa dalam menjaga kebersihan dan kesehatan. Kerja sama dengan Puskesmas juga belum terlaksana secara maksimal. Meskipun demikian, sekolah tetap melakukan edukasi kesehatan xiv dasar, pertolongan pertama ringan, dan pembiasaan hidup bersih melalui kegiatan rutin. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pelaksanaan UKS membutuhkan dukungan fasilitas, peningkatan kompetensi pembina UKS, kerja sama lintas instansi, dan edukasi kesehatan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi masukan bagi sekolah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program UKS dalam membentuk perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers’ strategies in improving students’ interest in learning Arabic at MI Nurul Hidayah Tanjung Jabung Timur. Low student interest in Arabic lessons is one of the main obstacles in achieving learning objectives. Students often perceive Arabic as a difficult, boring subject full of memorization. This condition is worsened by monotonous teaching methods and a lack of innovative learning media. This study employed a mixed-method approach with qualitative dominance using a sequential exploratory design. The research subjects consisted of 1 principal, 2 Arabic teachers, and 42 fifth-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, learning interest questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and strengthened by quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed that effective teacher strategies in increasing students’ interest in learning Arabic included the use of ice breaking, contextual picture media, simple rewards, singing methods, group learning, and personal approaches to students. The average student learning interest score increased from 64.3 to 81.7 after these strategies were consistently implemented. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of learning strategies based on emotional approaches and local rural student contexts, which has rarely been discussed in previous studies. This study recommends strengthening teachers’ pedagogical competence in designing enjoyable and meaningful Arabic learning.
