Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of integrating content, media, and teaching methods as learning outcomes in natural science learning. The context of carrying out this research is a distance learning system. This descriptive research focuses on pedagogical competence, graduate opinion, supporting factors, and obstacles faced in integrating content, media, and teaching methods. The research participants were 94 teachers from various islands who taught in grades 4, 5, and 6. The stages for obtaining data began with distributing responses, teaching observations, natural science content tests, and interviews with several teachers as representatives. This research shows that teachers have achieved high success in several aspects of natural science learning based on data analysis, including initial motivation, the relationship of material to daily life, and material explanations, reaching more than 85%. The results of the interviews show that variations in approaches and obstacles related to the completeness of natural science technology instrument facilities need more attention to improving facilities and teacher understanding. Data analysis shows good achievement with potential for improvement, particularly in demonstrations, teaching methods, and integration of natural science content. Observations of teacher activities provide positive picture, while teachers' opinions regarding the student-centered approach show creativity in overcoming facility constraints. Thus, increasing accessibility to technology and digital learning resources can help overcome obstacles in integrating content, media, and teaching methods in natural science learning. The results of this research provide important insights for developing strategies and policies to increase the effectiveness of natural science learning in distance learning systems.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the concept of student ethics in Ta’lim al-Muta’allim by Imam al-Zarnūjī and Serat Wulangreh by Pakubuwana IV, and to examine their implementation and relevance in Islamic boarding school education in the global era. This study employed a qualitative approach using library research and a case study at Nurul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School, Boyolali. Data were collected through document analysis, observation, and interviews, while data analysis used hermeneutic interpretation and descriptive analytical methods with triangulation to ensure validity. The results showed that both texts emphasized sincerity of intention, respect for teachers, discipline, humility, and self-control in the learning process. These values were implemented through integration into the curriculum and institutional culture of the pesantren. Furthermore, the concept of student ethics in both texts remained relevant in addressing contemporary educational challenges such as moral decline, digital ethics, and academic dishonesty. Therefore, these classical texts could serve as a strong foundation for strengthening character education in the global era.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of gadget addiction on students’ learning motivation in the Akidah Akhlak subject of sixth grade students at MI Muhammadiyah Malua. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with the research subjects consisting of sixth grade students, Akidah Akhlak subject teachers, and students’ parents. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that most students experience gadget addiction 55,6%, which is indicated by excessive use for playing games and social media, thus decreasing their learning motivation, especially in the Akidah Akhlak subject. However, the directed use of gadgets under the supervision of teachers and parents can have a positive impact as an engaging learning medium. Thus, gadget addiction has a negative influence on students’ learning motivation, but it can be minimized through supervision and the educational use of gadgets

Abstract

Students have difficulties in the process of developing their potentials, all of which are caused by a lack of understanding of their characteristics, so that the learning and teaching process becomes less effective, innovative, and efficient. This study is expected to provide knowledge to readers about the many characteristics possessed by students, in addition to educating about the importance of understanding student characteristics in the teaching and learning process from the perspective of hadith. The method used in this study is qualitative with the type of library research. The data used in the study are sourced from the pole of al-sittah, Islamic Educational Philosophy towards character formation, individual differences in the learning process, the data processing process uses content analysis techniques (Content Analysis). The results of this study indicate that understanding characteristics is important for students in the process of developing and utilizing the potentials possessed by students. The development of students' potentials is influenced by the characteristics they get from two factors, the first is internal factors such as genes and given by Allah and the second is external factors in the form of social, cultural, and educational environmental influences. The benefits of understanding characteristics will also be felt by educators as a reference in the process of transferring knowledge to their students, so that the learning process becomes more effective and efficient

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning media in the form of a booklet based on the character value of discipline for 11th grade high school students. The background of the research is based on the low level of student discipline and the limited biology learning media that integrate character values ​​in teaching materials. The research problem is focused on the level of validity and practicality of the booklet developed to improve conceptual understanding while strengthening students' character of discipline. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model that includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The Define stage is carried out through analysis of needs, student characteristics, and curriculum. The Design stage includes designing the content structure, integration of discipline values, and visual design of the booklet. The Develop stage includes product preparation, validation by material experts, media experts, and language experts, and revisions based on validator suggestions. The Disseminate stage is carried out through a limited trial to assess the practicality of using the booklet in learning. The research instruments are validation sheets and teacher and student response questionnaires with a Likert scale. The trial subjects consist of experts, one biology teacher, and 60 11th grade students. The results showed that the booklet was categorized as very valid, with an average percentage above 85%. The teacher's practicality test reached 95%, while the student response averaged 90%. Thus, the booklet was declared very valid and practical for use as a learning support medium. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa booklet berbasis nilai karakter disiplin untuk siswa kelas XI SMA. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada rendahnya tingkat kedisiplinan siswa serta terbatasnya media pembelajaran biologi yang mengintegrasikan nilai karakter dalam materi ajar. Permasalahan penelitian difokuskan pada tingkat validitas dan kepraktisan booklet yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep sekaligus penguatan karakter disiplin siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Tahap Define dilakukan melalui analisis kebutuhan, karakteristik siswa, dan kurikulum. Tahap Design mencakup perancangan struktur isi, integrasi nilai disiplin, serta desain visual booklet. Tahap Develop meliputi penyusunan produk, validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa, serta revisi berdasarkan saran validator. Tahap Disseminate dilakukan melalui uji coba terbatas untuk menilai kepraktisan penggunaan booklet dalam pembelajaran. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi dan angket respon guru serta siswa dengan skala Likert. Subjek uji coba terdiri atas para ahli, satu guru biologi, dan 60 siswa kelas XI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa booklet memperoleh kategori sangat valid dengan persentase rata-rata di atas 85%. Uji kepraktisan oleh guru mencapai 95%, sedangkan respon siswa menunjukkan rata-rata 90%. Dengan demikian, booklet dinyatakan sangat valid dan praktis digunakan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran

Abstract

This study examines the existence of Malay diplomatic register in official correspondence between Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam. Employing a qualitative approach and documentary analysis of 27 sets of First-Person Notes (1996-2008), this research identifies lexical, pronominal, and syntactic characteristics that distinguish diplomatic register from general Malay varieties. Findings reveal that Malay diplomatic register is characterized by strategic deployment of Bahasa Dalam—the Brunei royal register—encompassing hierarchical honorific systems and personal pronoun choices calibrated to recipient status. However, misapplications of royal-exclusive terms such as berkenan to non-royal officials were documented, potentially generating negative impressions and reducing communicative effectiveness. This study confirms that register competence requires deep pragmatic understanding rather than mere lexical proficiency. Practical implications include development of diplomatic training modules emphasizing register socialization and contribution to terminology standardization for the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia Language Council. This research provides empirical grounding for strengthening bilateral relations through accurate linguistic communication and mutual cultural respect.

Abstract

This study comprehensively analyzes the scholarly network (jaringan keilmuan) of Syaikhona Muhammad Kholil bin Abdul Lathif al-Bangkalani (1835–1925), the greatest Islamic scholar of the Malay-Indonesian Archipelago (Nusantara), based in Bangkalan, Madura. Employing intellectual history and descriptive social network analysis, the research traces four main dimensions: (1) his intellectual genealogy through his teachers in Madura, Java, and Haramayn; (2) the model of knowledge transmission at his Bangkalan pesantren including disciplines taught and pedagogical methods; (3) the dispersal of his students who subsequently established major pesantren and Islamic organizations across the Archipelago; and (4) the impact of this scholarly network on the character of Nusantara Islam—moderate, tolerant, and tradition-based (ahlussunnah wal jamaah). Using qualitative-historical library research on manuscripts, colonial archives, and academic literature, the study finds that Syaikhona Kholil constituted the central hub of the Islamic scholarly network in 19th–early 20th century Nusantara, with over 500,000 students who studied under him. The chains of transmission (sanad) of most Indonesian ulama of the era trace back to him, making him the 'common link' in Nusantara Islamic knowledge transmission. This study affirms that his scholarly network was not merely a regional Madura-Java phenomenon, but a trans-archipelago Islamic knowledge system connected to the Haramayn scholarly network.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis flipbook digital yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar siswa di daerah pedesaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-Experimental melalui rancangan One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 3 Pitu Riase, dengan sampel sebanyak 60 siswa kelas VII yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari nilai UTS (pre-test) dan UAS (post-test) untuk mengukur prestasi belajar, serta angket berskala Likert untuk mengukur minat belajar. Data dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan paired sample T-Test dan uji N-Gain melalui perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan secara statistik (p < 0,05) pada minat belajar (rata-rata meningkat dari 54,06 menjadi 63,13) dan prestasi belajar (89,65 menjadi 90,45) setelah intervensi. Analisis N-Gain menunjukkan efektivitas pada kategori rendah, yang disebabkan oleh fenomena ceiling effect pada prestasi belajar akibat tingginya nilai baseline siswa. Kesimpulannya, modul flipbook digital berbasis kearifan lokal merupakan solusi teknologi tepat guna yang efektif untuk memelihara prestasi akademik unggul dan memicu ketertarikan belajar siswa di wilayah dengan keterbatasan infrastruktur digital

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji pengaruh psikologis kecemasan terhadap kemampuan berbicara peserta didik. Kemampuan berbicara sering dipengaruhi oleh faktor psikologis, khususnya kecemasan. Penelitian ini mensintesis temuan dari penelitian sebelumnya untuk menelaah bagaimana kecemasan memengaruhi kemampuan berbicara peserta didik, baik itu dalam mode daring maupun tatap muka. Metode studi pustaka dengan menggunakan model PRISMA digunakan pada penelitian ini. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan secara signifikan menghambat kemampuan berbicara peserta didik dengan mengurangi kemauan mereka untuk berkomunikasi, meningkatkan keragu-raguan, dan menyebabkan kesulitan dalam mengatur ide selama berbicara. Selain itu, faktor-faktor seperti takut akan penilaian negatif, kurangnya kepercayaan diri, dan kondisi lingkungan kelas berkontribusi pada kenaikan tingkat kecemasan. Implikasi pedagogis menunjukkan bahwa guru harus menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung dan menurunkan kecemasan peserta didik, menerapkan strategi pengajaran komunikatif, dan mendorong umpan balik positif untuk membantu mengurangi kecemasan siswa. Oleh karena itu, memahami dan mengelola kecemasan peserta didik sangat penting untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara.
