Abstract

Merdeka curriculum emphasizes student centered learning that cultivates creativity, independence, and critical thinking skills. One of the learning models aligned with these principles is Project Based Learning (PjBL). However, the implementation of PjBL at the junior high school level still encounters several challenges, particularly the limited availability of learning resources and students insufficient conceptual understanding of the material. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using instructional videos as a supporting medium in implementing the PjBL model. Method employed in this study is a literature review of previous research relevant to the integration of instructional videos within the PjBL framework. The findings indicate that the use of instructional videos enhances students’ learning motivation, deepens conceptual understanding, and fosters active participation in project activities. Furthermore, instructional videos promote independent and collaborative learning, aligning with the core principles of the merdeka curriculum. Therefore, instructional videos play a significant role in improving the effectiveness of PjBL implementation at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of Augmented Reality (AR) learning media in thematic learning to improve student learning outcomes based on a literature review of various previous studies. The research method used is a literature review, which involves analyzing a number of scientific articles and relevant research results regarding the use of AR media in learning in elementary schools. Based on the results of the literature review, it is known that AR-based learning media can help students understand the material more concretely and interestingly because it can display three-dimensional objects that appear as if they are in the real world. AR also increases student interactivity and engagement during the learning process, thereby having a positive impact on their learning outcomes. Several studies show that the application of AR media in thematic learning is effective in strengthening concept understanding, improving memory, and fostering students' interest in learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media in thematic learning has great potential to improve student learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using learning media in teaching motion systems in science education. The problem behind this study is the low learning outcomes of students and their lack of understanding of abstract motion system concepts due to the limitations of the learning media used by teachers. The research method used is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from ten relevant scientific articles and analyzed based on topic relevance, types of media used, and learning outcomes achieved. The results of the analysis show that various types of media, such as learning videos, digital applications, educational games, visual media, and concrete teaching aids, have been proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, motivation, and active participation. These media help students understand the concept of motion systems in a more concrete, interactive, and interesting way. Thus, the use of innovative learning media that suits the characteristics of students can create active, contextual, and meaningful science learning.

Abstract

Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) generally experience difficulties in fine motor skills, which affect their learning activities and daily independence. This study aims to apply a Game-Based Learning (GBL) approach using playdough as a learning strategy to improve the fine motor skills of children with ADHD at the Teratai Putih Integrated Inclusive Early Childhood Education Centre in Banjarbaru City. The research method used was the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model, but this study was only conducted up to the implementation stage. The research subjects consisted of three children with ADHD aged 4–6 years. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analysed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of playdough-based Game-Based Learning can improve hand coordination, finger flexibility, and the precision of movements in children with ADHD. Activities such as rolling, shaping, cutting, and arranging playdough help hone pre-writing skills and improve children's focus in completing tasks. Each child shows different progress according to their individual characteristics and attention levels. A conducive learning environment, individual guidance, and clear and repeated instructions have been proven to increase children's engagement and motivation in the learning process. Thus, Game-Based Learning can be an effective alternative approach to improve the fine motor skills of children with ADHD while fostering learning motivation and focus. This method also supports the principle of inclusive education by providing a learning experience that is enjoyable, interactive, and adaptive to the specific needs of children. This study recommends the use of sensorimotor games such as playdough in learning activities in inclusive schools, as well as further research with a larger number of subjects to measure the long-term effectiveness of this method.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the strategies for implementing Digital Student Worksheets (LKPD) in schools and analyze their impact on learning effectiveness. The research focuses on the application of digital LKPD, the challenges in its implementation, and the innovations generated in the context of 21st-century learning. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method at four junior high schools in Kuala Kapuas. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The subject of this research is the Strategy for Implementing Digital LKPD in Schools, an innovation in learning that emphasizes key strategies and important steps in the implementation of LKPD, as well as innovations in teaching. The research was conducted at four public junior high schools (SMPN) in Kuala Kapuas to gain a broader perspective. The informants in this study included four school principals, ten teachers, eight students, and four educational staff members. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and students, direct classroom observations, and document analysis related to the implementation of digital LKPD. The results of the study reveal that the implementation of digital LKPD in these schools has a significant positive impact, such as increasing student engagement and motivation. Digital LKPD has been shown to improve students' understanding of the material and their technological skills. The use of interactive multimedia in digital LKPD, such as Kahoot and Nearpod, has enhanced students' enthusiasm and participation in the learning process. However, this study also identified several challenges, including issues with unstable internet access and limited devices. The findings indicate that although digital LKPD offers many advantages, its success heavily depends on the readiness of infrastructure and the digital literacy of both teachers and students. Recommendations include enhancing teacher capacity through advanced training, providing adequate technological infrastructure, and developing hybrid learning solutions that combine digital and non-digital methods. This study concludes that digital LKPD has great potential to improve learning effectiveness, but its implementation requires adequate support to overcome existing challenges.

Abstract

Christian Character Formation in Children with Special Needs (ABK) is both a challenge and an important responsibility for families, schools, and churches. These children have unique needs that require a holistic, personalized, and inclusive approach. This literature study aims to identify effective strategies for instilling Christian values in ABK by highlighting the role of love, exemplary modeling, scripture-based learning, and collaboration between family, school, and church environments. Grounded in biblical principles, such as Proverbs 22:6 and Colossians 3:12-14, this article emphasizes the importance of an approach rooted in love, patience, and appreciation for the uniqueness of each child. This study also reveals challenges, such as differences in understanding levels and behaviors, and offers practical solutions that can be applied. Through targeted and appropriate strategies, ABK can grow into individuals who reflect Christian values while fulfilling their calling as children of God

Abstract

This study aims to identify problems in student management and infrastructure at SDN Gili Anyar and propose solutions to improve student literacy. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The study results show that student literacy at SDN Gili Anyar faces significant challenges due to the lack of library facilities, which have been damaged and unusable for the past three years. In addition, there are no outstanding academic programs supporting student literacy development, although efforts to build student character have been going well. As a solution, this study proposes two alternatives: reading corners and the School Literacy Movement (GLS). Reading corners, according to the study by Anugrah et al. (2022), can serve as a substitute for libraries by utilizing classroom corners to store reading materials. Meanwhile, GLS, as highlighted by Khusna et al. (2022), involves the habit of reading for 15 minutes before lessons begin to foster students' interest in reading. The implementation of these two solutions requires support from teachers and parents in providing books and cultivating reading habits at home. This study emphasizes the importance of optimizing student management and infrastructure to enhance student literacy. Literacy, as the foundation of learning, plays a crucial role in developing students' academic potential and better character in the future.

Abstract

Conflict management is essential in fostering a positive learning environment in schools. This study focuses on conflict resolution and preventative measures utilizing collaborative leadership. Data were gathered via observation, interviews, and a review of the literature using a qualitative descriptive methodology. The findings suggest that collaborative leadership can improve conflict management by fostering open communication, participatory decision-making, and stronger relationships among members of the school community. Proven methods of prevention include teacher training, joint regulation creation, and school value reinforcement.

Abstract

Guidelines for the Implementation of Educational Supervision Permendiknas Number 12 of 2007 concerning Standards for School/Madrasah Supervisors states that every education unit supervisor is required to have six competencies, namely personal competence, managerial and academic supervision competence, educational evaluation competence, research and development competence, and social competence. Two main competencies are directly related to supervisory activities in educational units: managerial and academic supervision. Managerial supervision is intended to improve the quality of school management, while academic supervision is intended to improve the quality of teaching, which ultimately improves the quality of graduates. This supervision is very important because management is the engine of the organisation that drives all school programmes, including leadership, curriculum, student affairs, facilities and infrastructure, budgeting, community relations, etc. The guidelines for educational supervision in terms of policy are explained in Law No. 20 of 2003 on the National Education System, Law No. 14 of 2004 on Regional Government, Law No. 5 on the Civil Service, Government Regulation No. 19 of 2005, amended by No. 13 of 2015, amended by No. 19 of 2015 on National Education Standards, Government Regulation No. 74 of 2008 on Teachers and Lecturers, Government Regulation No. 17 of 2010 on Discipline for Supervisors, Presidential Regulation No. 14 of 2015 Ministry of Education and Culture.

Abstract

Administration is often defined as the process of developing cooperative activities among a group of people to achieve predetermined goals, namely educational goals. Educational administration is a series or set of processes for controlling the cooperative efforts of a group of people to achieve educational goals in a planned and systematic manner within a specific environment, particularly formal educational institutions. Government Regulation No. 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards, Article 57, states that supervision, which includes managerial supervision and academic management supervision, is carried out regularly and continuously by supervisors or inspectors of educational units and heads of educational units. The National Education Standards Act explains that there are two types of supervision, namely managerial supervision and academic management supervision or academic supervision. The basic concepts of education administration and supervision explain the definitions of administration and supervision, the objectives and benefits of administration and supervision, the process of education supervision, and the approaches, techniques, and methods of education supervision. Learning supervision is a professional service that provides assistance, guidance, and simulation to teachers in order to improve the quality of their teaching and learning processes and their professionalism
