Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pemasaran jasa pendidikan dan faktor-faktor peluang dan tantangannya. Penelitian ini mengambil setting sosial pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia (MAN IC) Jambi dengan key Informan Kepala Madrasah, disamping informan tambahan lainnya. Sementara data yang dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancaran mendalam, pengamatan, dan studi dokumen dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data mengalir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa segmen MAN IC bersifat lintas demografis, geogragis, sosial, dan ekonomi, dengan target pada masyarakat Muslim yang memiliki kemampuan dasar mumpuni bidang ilmu agama dan umum, sementara itu Madrasah mengambil posisi sebagai madrasah negeri unggulan dengan model boarding school. Strategi bauran pemasaran ditempuh dengan produk kurikulum teritegrasi, program ektrakurikuler unggulan, didukung sumber daya manusia yang profesioanl serta menempati lokasi yang terbilang strategis, pembiayaan yang terjangkau, mengamodir masyarakat tidak mampu, serta didukung dengan promosi berbasiskan teknologi. Kekuatan madrasah terletak pada citra lembaga sebagai Madrasah unggulan negeri dan jaringan Madrasah ke berbagai sekolah dan instansi pemerintah. Sedangkan kelemahannya pada aspek image sebagai Madrasah elit kesan sebagai sekolah dengan standar ekonomi dan sosial tinggi. Kata kunci: manajemen pemasaran jasa, bauran pemasaran, Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Abstract: Marketing of Educational Service at The State Islamic Senior High School Jambi. The study aims at finding the strategy employed to promote the Madrasah and the determinant factors behind. This is a qualitative research using indepth interview, semi participant observation, and documentation to gather data. Meanwhile flow model analysis was used to analyzed them. The study revealed that segmentation of the Madrasah was cross demografic, geografic, social, and econimic level, which a higher level academic standar of Moslim students as a target, meanwhile excellent public boarding school was its positioning. The study also found that maketing mix strategy was used by means of developing an integratic curriculum, excellent extracurriculum, professional stuff, strategic location, affordable costs and accomodate students with econimically disadvantage, as well as technology based promotion. The strenght of the Madrasah lied on its reputation as excellent public school and its networking. Meanwhile, the weakneeses are the image of the Madrasah as an ‘elite’ school and high econimics and social standard. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan (pengaruh) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan pengelolaan keuangan sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Se-Kecamatan Bone Raya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru, staf dan komite sekolah, yang berjumlah 89 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap manajemen keuangan. Semakin efektif kepemimpinan, semakin efisien pengelolaan keuangan. Dengan kata lain, jika variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki standar kualitas yang baik, maka pengelolaan pembiayaan pendidikan yang diharapkan akan lebih baik. This study aims to relate principal's leadership to financial management of the schools at Primary School in all Bone Raya districts. This study is a quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all teachers, staff and school committee, which amounted to 89 respondents. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques used simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show a positive and significant influence of principal's leadership to financial management. The more effective the leadership, the more efficient the financial management. In other words, if the leadership variables of the principal have good quality standards, the expected education financing management will be better. Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses, strategi, dan hambatan dalam penempatan tenaga kependidikan di Madrasah Aliyah Model Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologis. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala madrasah, kepala tata usaha, dan staf pengajaran. Tekhik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dan tehnik pengumpulan data mengunakan wawancara, pengmatan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepala madrasah sudah melakukan proses pengadaan tenaga kependidikan secara sistematis mulai dari rekrutmen, seleksi dan penempatan. Strategi penempatan tenaga kependidikan dilakukan dengan cara menentukan latar belakang ijazah, mengutamakan pengalaman kerja, serta memperhatikan sikap dan penampilan dari calon tenaga kependidikan. Hambatan dalam penempatan tenaga kependidikan adalah kedisiplinan. Kata Kunci: Strategi penempatan, tenaga kependidikan, kepemimpinan Abstract. The aims of this research are to understand the process, strategy, and obstacles in the placement of educational staff in Islamic Senior High School Model of Banda Aceh. This research uses qualitative method with phenomenological design. Research subjects are head of madrasah, head of administration, and teaching staff, whose are selected by employing purposive sampling technique, menawhile the data were collected by employing observation, interview, and documentation technique. The study found that the process of procurement of education personnel are conducted systematically from recruitment, selection, and placement. The placement strategy undertaken based on staff educational background, works experiences, as well as attituda. Meanwhile, discipline is an obstacle in the process of staff placement. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil dan dampak dari pelaksanaan pembinaan mutu tenaga pendidik pada SMK Negeri 2 Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan, meliputi wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi, dengan subjek wawancara, yaitu Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Bidang Humas, Wakil Bidang Sarana dan Prasarana, Kepala Laboratorium Otomotif, Kepala Perpustakaan, Kepala Program Multimedia, 5 guru bidang studi, serta 5 siswa/i sebagai informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program pembinaan mutu masih belum sepenuhnya berjalan secara efektif. Hal ini karena, hanya kegiatan diklat dari pihak eksternal dan program sertifikasi saja yang aktif berjalan. Program diklat yang berasal dari internal sekolah hanya berupa kegiatan evaluasi dan pelatihan pembahasan mengenai pengisian rapot dan kurikulum yang diadakan setiap satu tahun sekali Kata kunci : Pengembangan mutu, tenaga pendidik, sekolah menengah kejuruan Abstract. The study aims at finding out the the process and outcome of the implementation of teacher quality development at Vocational School SMK Negeri 2 Tangerang Selatan. This is a qualitative descriptive research, the data collected by employing interview, observation, and documentation technique. The informants consists of Headmaster, Vice Headmaster, Head of School Laboratory, Head of School Library, teachers, and students of the School. The results indicated that teachers quality development at SMK N 2 depending on the education and training programs undertaken by the outside training institutions, such as sertification programs, meanwhile internal training activities are only conducted in the form of a short evaluation and guidelines for filling out report cards as well as curriculum evaluation annually Keywords: quality development, teacher, vocational school

Abstract

Absrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan strategis pengembangan guru untuk menghadapi persaingan global di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN 1) Blitar Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perencanaan peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui analisis kebutuhan, analisis kemampuan pendidik, (2) Evaluasi diri sekolah (EDS) tingkat departemen, dan, (3) penetapan program dan jadwal peningkatan kompetensi guru di tingkat pusat / sekolah. Pengembangkan kompetensi guru dilakukan melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan (Diklat), On the job training, dan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) sebagai forum untuk berbagi pengetahuan dan informasi baru yang berhubungan dengan profesi guru. This study aims to find out the strategic planning of teacher development to face global competition at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (Public vocational secondary schools) (SMKN 1) Blitar Indonesia. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of case study method. The results of this study indicate that: (1) planning of teacher competence development undertaken through needs analysis and analysis of educator ability, (2) self-evaluation of school at Department level, and (3) stipulation of program and schedule for teacher competency development at central / school level. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan mengungkap pengelolaan ekstrakurikuler (ekskul) keagamaan pada sekolah fullday. Penelitian ini mengambil latar Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Nurul Ilmi Jambi dengan subjek penelitian Kepala Sekolah, pengelola, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif menemukan bahwa pengelolaan ekskul keagamaan menkombinasikan pendekatan manajemen modern yang mencakup perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, dan pengawasan dengan nilai-nilai yang dianut Sekolah, seperti amanah, kebersamaan, dan tanggungjawab, sehingga cenderung lebih fleksibel dan alamiah. Kendala pengelolaan ekskul keagamaan dalam pembentukan karakter siswa meliputi aspek yang terkait dengan ketersediaan tenaga profesional, manajemen waktu, dan ketersediaan fasilitas yang memadai. Kata kunci : manajemen, ekstrakurikuler keagamaan, karakter Asbtract. This study aims to explain and reveal the management of religious extracurricular at fullday school model. The social setting of the research was at Junior High School (SMP) Nurul Ilmi Jambi with the subject of research consist of principals, managers, teachers, and students. The results of the qualitative approach found that the management of religious extracurricular combines both modern management approaches ( planning, organizing, mobilizing, and monitoring) and School values, such as trust, togetherness, and responsibility. The model seems to be more flexible and natural. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas tentang peran manajemen hubungan masyarakat dalam mempertahankan citra positif sekolah yang dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia Jambi (MAN IC). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi nonpartisipan, wawancara tidak terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran manajemen humas dalam mempertahankan citra positif Sekolah dilakukan dengan menjalankan fungsi-fungsi manajemen serta menjalin hubungan yang harmonis dan kerja sama dengan pihak internal maupun eksternal sekolah, serta membangun komunikasi yang intens dengan pihak Telkom dalam mengatasi persoalan akses komunikasi. Kata Kunci: manajemen hubungan masyarakat, citra sekolah, madrasah aliyah negeri Insan Cendekia Abstract: Public relation management: strategy to maintain positive image of the School. This study aims to investigate the role of public relations management in maintaining a positive image of the school in State Islamic Senior High School Insan Cendekia (MAN IC) Jambi. This research was a descriptive qualitative. The technique of data collection are nonpartisipation observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation, whereas the analysis of data was used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Technique of authenticity the data used triangulation of source and triangulation of technique. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan Kepemimpinan Kepala sekolah dengan keefektifan sekolah,(2) hubungan budaya sekolah dengan keefektifan sekolah (3) hubungan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya sekolah dengan keefektifan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan keefektifan sekolah dengan koefisien korelasi rx1y= 0.497. Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan oleh variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan keefektifan sekolah terhadap keefektifan sekolah adalah sebesar 18.77%, (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara budaya sekolah dengan keefektifan sekolah dengan koefisien korelasi rx2y= 0.525. Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan oleh variabel budaya sekolah terhadap keefektifan sekolah adalah sebesar 21.96% dan (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya sekolah dengan keefektifan sekolah dengan koefisien korelasi r = 0.638. Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, sekolah efektif. Abstract. Towards Effective Schools: Leadership and School Culture Contribution. The study aims at determining (1) the correlation between principal leadership and school effectiveness, (2) the correlation between school culture and school effectiveness (3) the correlation between principal leadership and school culture towards school effectiveness. The results of this study revealed that (1) there is a positive and significant correlation between principal peadership and school effectiveness, with the correlation coefficient rX1Y = 0.497. The effective contribution given by the principal leadership variable with school effectiveness towards school effectiveness was 18.77%, (2) there is a positive and significant correlation between school culture and school effectiveness with the correlation coefficient rX2Y = 0.525. The effective contribution given by the school culture variables to the effectiveness of schools is 21.96% and (3) there is a positive and significant correlation between principal leadership and school culture towards school effectiveness with a correlation coefficient R = 0.638.. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap proses penerapan manajemen madrasah menjadi sekolah efektif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia (MAN IC) Jambi menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi pengamatan, wawancara mendalam, dan kajian dokumen. Sementara subjek penelitiannya terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan staf madrasah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah/madrasah efektif diterapkan dengan cara 1) konsisten dalam mewujudkan visi dan misi, 2) kondusifitas lingkungan sekolah, 3) kepemimpinan sekolah yang kuat, 4) adanya sistem penghargaan, 5) sistem pendelagasian, 6) dukungan masyarakat, 7) penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif serta didukung dengan penerapan manajemen sumberdaya manusia secara efektif. Kendala dan tantangan sekolah diantaranya adalah persoalan birokrasi dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana, penganggaran dari Kementerian Agama, demikian mutu pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Kata Kunci: Sekolah efektif, madrasah aliyah negeri, manajemen sumberdaya manusia, Abstract. The Model of Effective School at State Islamic Senior High School Cendekia. This study aims at revealing the process of applying madrasah management to be an effective school. This research was conducted at State Islamic Senior High School Cendekia (MAN IC) using a qualitative descriptive approach, while data collection techniques consist of observation, in-depth interviews, and document review. Informant of the study are the headmaster, teachers and staff. The results revealed that the Madrasah is managed effevtively by some efforts, theye are 1) consistent in realizing the vision and mission, 2) conduciveness of the school environment, 3) strong school leadership, 4) the existence of a reward system, 5) the delegation systems, 6) the community support, 7) and the innovative strategies of learning as well as effective human resource management. The constraints and challenges in realizing of effective schools including bureaucratic problems, particurally in meeting the needs of facilities and budgeting from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan absensi sidik jari di sekolah kejuruan dan menggambarkan tingkat kedisiplinan karyawan di SMK SMTI Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, sementara teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Wawancara, Observasi dan Dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sekolah menerapkan kebijakan absensi fingerprint guna meningkatkan disiplin karyawan dengan mewajibkan karyawan merekam kehadiran setiap hari kerja. Kebijakan ini diikuti dengan peraturan tidak diperbolehkan untuk mengubah kehadiran kecuali dibuktikan dengan surat kepala sekolah, dan remunerasi nominal akan diperoleh setiap bulan, sesuai dengan kehadiran online yang direkam melalui mesin absensi sidik jari. Kata Kunci: Absensi karyawan, fingerprint, disiplin karyawan, sekolah menengah kejuruan Abstract: Fingerprint Attendance System: an Effort To Improve Employee Discipline. The purpose of this study was to describe how fingerprint attendance applied at vocational school and to describe the level of discipline of employees at SMTI Bandar Lampung Vocational High School. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, while the data collection techniques used are Interview, Observation and Documentation. The results of the study show that the School implement fingerprint attendance policies to improve employee discipline by requiring employees to record attendance every working day. This policy was followed by regulations not allowed changing attendance unless approved by the principal's letter, and nominal remuneration will be obtained every month in accordance with online attendance recorded through a fingerprint attendance machine Keywords: employee attendance, fingerprint, employee discipline, vocational school
