Abstract

Inclusive education requires collaborative efforts that extend beyond the classroom, making the role of parents and communities essential in ensuring every child’s right to learn without discrimination. This article examines how parental involvement and community participation contribute to creating learning environments that respect diversity and support students with different backgrounds, abilities, and social needs. Parents play a crucial role in reinforcing inclusive values at home, communicating openly with teachers, and advocating for their children's educational needs. Meanwhile, communities strengthen inclusion by providing social support, accessible resources, and positive cultural attitudes that encourage acceptance. The partnership between schools, families, and local communities builds a supportive ecosystem that enhances student engagement, emotional well-being, and equal opportunities. By understanding these interconnected roles, inclusive education becomes not only a school-based initiative but a shared social responsibility that promotes fairness and strengthens social cohesion.

Abstract

This research examines the significance of religion as a moral foundation in addressing social challenges faced by Muslims in contemporary Indonesia. The study aims to explore how Islamic principles influence ethical conduct, foster social responsibility, and strengthen community engagement amid rapid modernization, technological development, and cultural globalization. Data were obtained through qualitative methods, including literature analysis, semi-structured interviews, and direct observation of community activities. The results indicate that adherence to Islamic teachings plays a crucial role in guiding moral choices, enhancing social solidarity, and offering practical solutions to ethical dilemmas in daily life. The research further emphasizes the importance of religious education, moral awareness, and active participation in community initiatives to reinforce ethical resilience. In conclusion, Islam functions not only as a source of spiritual guidance but also as a practical framework for moral orientation, providing both ethical guidance and social stability for Indonesian Muslims navigating complex contemporary societal issues.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital dan media sosial telah mengubah pola hidup manusia secara mendasar. Intensitas penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan menimbulkan fenomena kecanduan digital (digital addiction) yang berdampak pada penurunan konsentrasi, stres emosional, serta melemahnya kesadaran spiritual di kalangan mahasiswa. Tasawuf, sebagai dimensi batin Islam, menawarkan pendekatan etika spiritual melalui nilai‐nilai zuhud, muraqabah, muhasabah, dan qana‘ah untuk menyeimbangkan kehidupan digital dan spiritualitas manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi pustaka, dengan menganalisis relevansi nilai tasawuf terhadap pengendalian kecanduan media sosial dan pembentukan digital well-being. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai tasawuf mampu meningkatkan kesadaran diri, mengatur perilaku digital secara proporsional, serta menumbuhkan keseimbangan moral dan emosional dalam aktivitas daring. Tasawuf berfungsi bukan hanya sebagai ajaran mistik, melainkan sebagai dasar etika kontemporer untuk membentuk kehidupan digital yang berkesadaran, beretika, dan menenangkan secara spiritual.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the second language (L2) usage patterns among 15 first-semester English Education (Tadris Bahasa Inggris) students at STAIN Madina and its impact on their competence in Mandailing as their first language (L1). Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and recorded conversations in both academic and non-academic settings. The findings reveal that the students predominantly use Indonesian (L2) in various communication contexts, including campus interactions, social engagement, and digital media use. This heavy reliance on L2 has led to a decline in their Mandailing language competence, particularly in vocabulary mastery, fluency, and sensitivity to L1 linguistic structures. Several factors contribute to this decline. The campus and social environment prioritize Indonesian, limiting opportunities for Mandailing use. Additionally, family communication patterns that rely more on L2 reduce the Mandailing input students receive from an early age. Internal factors such as low motivation to maintain their heritage language, which is often viewed as less relevant in academic and modern social settings also accelerate the language shift. These findings indicate early signs of language shift among first-year university students at STAIN Madina. Therefore, language revitalization efforts and stronger involvement from families and educational institutions are necessary to preserve the Mandailing language as an essential cultural identity.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has brought significant changes to the way people interact and use language, particularly through social media, which has now become a major space for self-expression and shaping linguistic habits. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media on human language production from a psycholinguistic perspective. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach through digital observations and semi-structured interviews with fifth-semester students of the English Education Program. The findings indicate that social media affects students’ language production in several ways: sentence structures become simpler, register shifts occur, language is produced more quickly, and academic accuracy tends to decrease. Nevertheless, students are still able to adapt and return to using formal language when required by the context. These findings also open opportunities for further research on how digital habits relate to academic literacy skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi pemikiran mazhab fikih terhadap pengembangan nilai toleransi dan moderasi dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menelaah literatur klasik dan kontemporer terkait karakteristik mazhab fikih serta relevansinya dalam pembelajaran PAI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keragaman metodologi ijtihad dalam mazhab Hanafi, Maliki, Syafi’i, dan Hanbali mengandung nilai-nilai penting seperti keterbukaan berpikir, kemaslahatan, dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, yang efektif digunakan sebagai media pendidikan untuk menumbuhkan sikap toleran dan moderat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi fikih lintas mazhab dalam pembelajaran PAI dapat memperkuat kemampuan analitis peserta didik, mengurangi fanatisme, serta membangun budaya keberagamaan yang inklusif dan harmonis.

Abstract

Facing academic pressure in the early stages of college, first-year students at the Faculty of Law, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, often feel overwhelmed by the high academic demands. Social support, such as talking with friends or spending time with family, plays a significant role in alleviating the academic stress they experience. While these healing techniques provide temporary relief, students still feel stressed, especially when assignments pile up or exams approach. This study found that while healing through social support helps reduce anxiety in the short term, students also need more structured and sustainable coping skills, such as time management and more effective stress management strategies, to better handle the ongoing academic pressure.

Abstract

Learning in the Society 5.0 era is different from previous eras. The use of technology in learning provides a variety of alternatives. The interactive learning innovation in this study is the use of Wordwall as a game-based interactive learning medium that emphasises active participation learning styles for all students. The Wordwall platform used is an online quiz, where students immediately reflect their answers online and Wordwall records all student activities, which can be used as assessment material. This study aims to determine how suitable the Wordwall application is for use in the learning process by understanding student responses to this application. This study uses a qualitative method by using Wordwall in the learning process for 22 students of the PGSD study programme at Bhinneka University. Meanwhile, there are five lecturers who implement Wordwall, namely AP, NO, RF, NJ, and LS. The results of the study indicate that lecturers are able to implement evaluation using Wordwall, and lecturers are able to apply Wordwall to integrate with other applications in learning, while students' responses are more motivated in learning, students understand the material better and are able to work well together when learning in groups.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of ChatGPT as AI in Islamic research and the opportunities and challenges emerging in the digital era. Using a library research method, it reviews literature on AI, Islamic scholarly ethics, and digital technology. The findings show that ChatGPT supports faster literature access, concept mapping, and initial analysis of research themes. It also assist in formulating research problems and building theoretical framework. However challenges remain, including information accuracy, algorithmic bias, limited contextual understanding, and the absence of religious authority. Therefore, ChatGPT must be used critically and verified through primary sources. The study concludes that ChatGPT is a complementary tool and cannot replace scholars or Islamic scientific methodology.

Abstract

The present study analyzes Eid al-Fitr as a socio-religious phenomenon from the perspective of cultural anthropology by examining the interconnections between rituals, symbols, and social practices that develop within the context of Indonesian Muslim communities. Employing a qualitative approach based on an extensive literature review, this research explores various elements of Eid al-Fitr, including the homecoming tradition (mudik), halal bihalal gatherings, takbir parades, zakat al-fitr, ketupat, new clothing, and the accompanying social dynamics. Thematic analysis is used to identify processes of meaning-making, symbolic representation, social functions, and cultural transformations embedded within the ritual cycle of Eid al-Fitr. The findings reveal that Eid al-Fitr constitutes a “ritual complex” that integrates spiritual, social, and cultural dimensions. Mudik strengthens kinship networks and ancestral identity, halal bihalal functions as a mechanism of social reconciliation, and Eid symbols reinforce moral values, purification, and collective solidarity. Drawing on the theories of Geertz, Turner, and Durkheim, this study demonstrates that Eid al-Fitr is not merely an annual religious observance but also a cultural institution that sustains social cohesion, traditional continuity, and the religious identity of Indonesian Muslims in the midst of social change and modernity.
