Abstract

Waste management in Indonesia is a critical issue affecting public health and environmental sustainability, with annual waste production reaching millions of tons, while infrastructure and public awareness remain inadequate. This writing is urgent to highlight the role of environmental non-governmental organizations as government partners in addressing this issue, given that regulations like the waste management law have not been fully effective. The research employs a normative juridical approach through library studies on legislation and related institutional reports. The results indicate that environmental non-governmental organizations play roles in advocacy, education, and community empowerment, with strategies such as coordination with government and fundraising, despite challenges like permitting difficulties and low community participation. In conclusion, stronger collaboration is needed to achieve sustainable waste management.

Abstract

Munasabah Al-Qur’an merupakan salah satu kajian penting dalam ulumul Qur’an yang membahas hubungan dan keserasian antara ayat dengan ayat, surah dengan surah, serta bagian-bagian dalam Al-Qur’an. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menyingkap keterpaduan struktur dan makna Al-Qur’an sebagai wahyu Ilahi yang utuh dan sistematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai literatur klasik dan kontemporer yang membahas munasabah Al-Qur’an. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa munasabah berperan signifikan dalam memperdalam pemahaman terhadap kandungan Al-Qur’an, memperkuat penafsiran kontekstual, serta menegaskan kemukjizatan Al-Qur’an dari segi susunan dan sistematika bahasanya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan peran pengembangan ilmu pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru di Indonesia. Melalui pendekatan studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai literatur ilmiah dan dokumen kebijakan pendidikan yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan ilmu pendidikan berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru pada aspek pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian. Perkembangan teori dan model pembelajaran membantu guru memahami strategi pembelajaran yang efektif, menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik, serta mendorong kemampuan reflektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, penguatan ilmu pendidikan menjadi faktor penting dalam membentuk guru yang kompeten, adaptif, dan responsif terhadap perkembangan pendidikan modern.

Abstract

Scientific truth is frequently treated as the primary framework for explaining reality, encouraging scientism and marginalizing non-empirical knowledge. This article examines the epistemological relationship between the Qur’an and scientific truth, with a critical focus on the discourse of i‘jāz ‘ilmī. A qualitative library-based method is employed through systematic analysis of contemporary scholarly works on the philosophy of science, Qur’anic epistemology, and science–religion relations. The study finds that the Qur’an and scientific knowledge operate within distinct but interconnected epistemological domains. Scientific truth is provisional and context-dependent, whereas Qur’anic discourse provides ethical orientation and reflective meaning rather than empirical explanation. The findings demonstrate that attempts to verify Qur’anic truth through science risk epistemological reductionism. The article proposes a non-reductive framework that positions Qur’anic cosmological verses as reflective signs encouraging intellectual inquiry and moral responsibility, thereby strengthening constructive dialogue between revelation and science.

Abstract

This study examines the concepts of learning and teaching, along with foundational theories, including behaviorism, cognitivism, constructivism, and humanism, due to their crucial role in shaping students' behavior and thinking patterns. The research uses a library research method with documentation techniques from relevant literature. Findings indicate that learning theories provide a conceptual framework for understanding the learning process, assisting teachers in designing and managing instruction effectively, and adapting strategies to students’ characteristics. These results highlight the importance of applying learning theories as a basis for meaningful and student-centered educational practices

Abstract

This study addresses the gap between the objectives of Qur’anic recitation instruction and students’ actual mastery of tajwid rules in higher education. The research aims to examine students’ perceptions of the effectiveness of tajwid learning methods implemented in the Studi Qur’ani Intensif (SQI) program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through a closed-ended questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. The respondents consisted of 18 active SQI students at Tahsin levels 3 and 4, selected through purposive sampling. The findings indicate that the tajwid learning methods, supported by competent tutors, are perceived as highly effective, as reflected in improvements in makharijul huruf accuracy, sifatul huruf mastery, fluency, and automatic application of tajwid rules. The overall effectiveness score reached 87.78%, categorized as very effective. These results suggest that structured tajwid instruction significantly enhances students’ Qur’anic recitation skills and provides a strong foundation for improving instructional quality in Islamic higher education.

Abstract

The Indonesian government, through Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation, introduced a policy to simplify business licensing in order to improve the national business climate, including the implementation of the Online Single Submission Risk Based Approach (OSS RBA) system and the establishment of Single-Member Limited Liability Companies (PT Perorangan). This article aims to examine the mechanism for establishing PT Perorangan through OSS RBA and to analyze the implications of licensing facilitation on the improvement of the business climate. This study employs a normative juridical research method using statutory and conceptual approaches. The data used are secondary data obtained through library research, including legislation, legal literature, and relevant scholarly works. The analysis shows that the establishment of PT Perorangan through OSS RBA is conducted electronically through a simplified procedure based on the level of business risk, providing legal certainty for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs). Furthermore, the licensing facilitation offered by OSS RBA encourages business formalization, expands access to financing and legal protection, and supports the improvement of Indonesia’s business climate. Therefore, OSS RBA functions not only as an administrative tool but also as a strategic legal policy instrument to support sustainable economic growth and employment development.

Abstract

Urban waste management constitutes an environmental issue that extends beyond technical sanitation concerns and is closely linked to the state’s legal obligation to guarantee the right to a good and healthy environment. This article examines the normative problems of urban waste management at the Bantar Gebang Integrated Waste Management Site (TPST) within the framework of environmental law and human rights. The research employs a normative juridical method, using statutory and conceptual approaches. The data are secondary in nature and were collected through library research, including legislation, legal doctrines, and relevant academic literature. The findings indicate that, at the normative level, the Indonesian legal system has established a relatively comprehensive regulatory framework governing waste management and environmental protection, as reflected in the 1945 Constitution, Law Number 18 of 2008 on Waste Management, and Law Number 32 of 2009 on Environmental Protection and Management. However, in practice, waste management at TPST Bantar Gebang reveals a significant gap between legal norms and policy implementation. Indications of environmental pollution, unequal distribution of environmental burdens, and the weak application of environmental law principles demonstrate that the state’s obligation to ensure the right to a good and healthy environment has not been fully realized in a substantive manner.

Abstract

Motor development is a crucial aspect of early childhood growth that must be systematically stimulated through daily routine activities. This study aims to systematically review the role of early childhood teachers in stimulating children's motor development through daily routines. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted, analyzing 18 relevant national journal articles published between 2015 and 2024. The findings reveal that early childhood teachers play a central role as facilitators in designing routine activities such as morning exercises, tidying up toys, handwashing, and mealtime, which serve as effective media for stimulating both fine and gross motor skills. Creative and educational integration of these routines has been shown to enhance children’s coordination skills and independence. However, challenges such as limited resources, high teacher–child ratios, and inadequate professional training hinder optimal implementation. This review highlights the urgency of strengthening teacher competencies in designing developmentally appropriate routine-based motor activities in early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ active participation and mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in Grade VIII students of UPT SMP Negeri 3 Galesong Selatan. The background of this study is the low level of student engagement in the learning process and mathematics achievement that has not yet reached the minimum mastery criteria. This research employed a Classroom Action Research design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 31 students of class VIII A. Data were collected through observation sheets of student activities and learning achievement tests at the end of each cycle. The results showed that in Cycle I, student learning mastery reached 25%, while in Cycle II it increased to 84%. In addition, students’ active participation in discussions, group work, and problem-solving activities also improved. These findings indicate that the implementation of the PBL model is effective in improving students’ active participation and mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, PBL can be used as an alternative learning model to create a more active, meaningful, and problem-oriented mathematics learning environment.
