Abstract

The research was aimed to develop a domino card media that was reasonable and effective in improving Indonesian language mastery for fifth grade students of elementary school. This was a development research that comprised of ten stages. Product in from of a reasonable vocabulary domino card media based on scores obtained form material expert and media expert each with value 80 with a good category. Product effectiveness yielded in improving Indonesian language vocabulary mastery based on a hypothesis test result of sigificance (2-tailed) of 0,034 smaller than 0,05. That domino card media was effective in improving Indonesian language vocabulary mastery for elementary school students. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media kartu domino yang layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Indonesia bagi siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, yang terdiri dari sepuluh tahap. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa media kartu domino kosakata yang layak, berdasarkan skor yang diperoleh dari ahli materi dan ahli media, masing-masing dengan nilai 80 dengan kategori baik. Keefektifan produk yang dihasilkan dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Indonesia didasarkan pada hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,034, lebih kecil dari 0,05. Media kartu domino efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata bahasa Indonesia bagi siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an empirical picture of whether or not the Teams Games-Tournament (TGT) learning model aided by Question Box media has an impact on the fourth-grade science learning outcomes at SDN Cengkareng Barat 16 Pagi West Jakarta in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The research population consisted of 55 students consisting of 28 students of class IV A and 27 students of IV B. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. This study used a quantitative approach, and the research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The result showed an effect of the Teams Games-Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by the question box media on student learning outcomes in science.

Abstract

Learning media play an essential role for students to understand learning material. This study aimed to produce educational monopoly media on material cultural diversity by strengthening patriotism in grade IV Elementary School. This development uses the Dick and Carey model. The result of validation by a material expert, media expert, and user get a case of 100 percent, 83.3 percent, and 91.6 percent. Students question results on small-scale tests, and field tests get 93.3% and 92 percent. Educative monopoly can foster a character who loves the motherland with a percentage value of 90 percent. Media pembelajaran berperan penting bagi siswa untuk memahami materi pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk media Monopoli Edukatif materi keberagaman budaya dengan penguatan karakter cinta tanah air di kelas IV sekolah dasar yang valid berdasarkan ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan praktis bagi siswa. Pengembangan ini menggunakan model Dick dan Carey. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan pengguna memperoleh persentase sebesar 100 persen, 83,3 persen, dan 91,6 persen. Hasil angket siswa pada uji skala kecil dan uji lapangan memperoleh persentase sebesar 93,3% dan 92 persen. Monopoli Edukatif dapat menumbuhkan karakter cinta tanah air dengan persentase nilai sebesar 90 persen.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the ability to work on art paste techniques of class IV students in cluster 3 Elementary School of Junrejo, Batu. They are viewed from creativity, skills, and aesthetics, especially in mosaic art, collage art, and montage art. This research used a mix-method with the type of research using sequential explanatory analysis. Practice tests, surveys, observation, interview, and documentation are used in this research. The result of the study shows that most students working on paste techniques includes good categories. Besides, the inhibiting factors and supporters mostly come from students themselves, the completeness of tools and materials, and the environment. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan berkarya seni rupa teknik tempel siswa kelas IV di SDN se-gugus 3 Kecamatan Junrejo Kota Batu. Dilihat dari aspek kreativitas, keterampilan, dan keindahan khususnya pada berkarya seni mozaik, seni kolase, dan seni montase. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu mix-method (penelitian kombinasi) dengan jenis penelitian menggunakan metode urutan pembuktian (sequential explanatory). Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes praktik, survey, observasi, wawancara, kuisoner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa dalam berkarya seni rupa termasuk kategori baik. Selain itu faktor penghambat dan pendukungnya terdapat dari siswa itu sendiri, kelengkapan alat dan bahan, serta lingkungan.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to describe the motivation of 121 teachers’ work at private Elementary School in Jakarta. The study of research objects as determinant factors include teachers’ commitment to school, the perception of leadership behaviors, and workplace conditions. Those variables are measured with assessment and behavior scale which the reliability is more than 0,90. Results of this study show that there is a positive and significant relationship of the three determinant factors toward the motivations of work, either individually or collectively. The effort that needs to be followed up is to maintain headmasters’ role as a leader because leadership is meaningful as a determinant factor that is important to increasing teachers’ motivation of work. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi kerja 121 guru SD sekolah swasta di Jakarta. Kajian objek penelitian sebagai faktor determinan meliputi komitmen terhadap sekolah, persepsi terhadap perilaku kepemimpinan, dan kondisi tempat kerja. Variabel-variabel tersebut diukur dengan skala penilaian dan skala sikap yang memiliki reliabilitas masing-masing di atas 0,90. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dari ketiga faktor determinan terhadap motivasi kerja, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama. Usaha yang perlu ditindaklanjuti adalah mempertahankan peran kepala sekolah yang baik sebagai pimpinan karena kepemimpinan sangat bermakna sebagai faktor determinan yang penting untuk meningkatkan motivasi kerja para guru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the validity and effectiveness of the textbooks. The research used is the research and development research of the Borg and Gall model with 10 stages of research, namely preliminary research, planning and development, initial product design development, product validation, initial product revision, use trials, product development revisions, effectiveness trials, final product, dissemination. The results of data analysis for sixth grade students at SDN 1 Grajagan, SDN 4 Grajagan, and SDN 8 Grajagan during validation showed the average percentage of validity was 91.72 percent so that it was in the very valid category. The effectiveness of the product is seen based on student responses and learning outcomes tests. The results of the data during the limited trial showed a positive response to the product by 88.4 percent. Meanwhile, the results of the product effectiveness trial at SDN 1 Grajagan, SDN 4 Grajagan, SDN 8 Grajagan were 80 percent, 72.22 percent, 90 percent respectively. This shows that Augmented Reality (AR) based textbooks are very feasible and effective to use when learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hasil validitas dan efektivitas dari buku ajar yang dikembangkan. Penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian pengembangan Research and Development model Borg and Gall dengan 10 tahapan penelitian, yaitu penelitian pendahuluan, perencanaan dan pengembangan, pengembangan desain produk awal, validasi produk, revisi produk awal, uji coba penggunaan, revisi produk pengembangan, uji coba keefektifan, produk final, Dissemination. Hasil analisis data siswa kelas VI SDN 1 Grajagan, SDN 4 Grajagan, dan SDN 8 Grajagan saat validasi menunjukkan persentase rata-rata tingkat kevalidan sebesar 91,72 persen sehingga masuk kategori sangat valid. Keefektifan produk dilihat berdasarkan respons siswa dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil data saat uji coba terbatas menunjukkan respons positif terhadap produk sebesar 88.4 persen. Sedangkan hasil uji coba keefektifan produk di SDN 1 Grajagan, SDN 4 Grajagan, SDN 8 Grajagan secara berturut-turut ialah 80 persen, 72,22 persen, 90 persen. Hal tersebut menunjukkan buku ajar berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) sangat layak dan efektif digunakan saat pembelajaran.

Abstract

The challenges of 21st-century education require higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) to exist in various fields. This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM-PjBL approach on HOTS. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the nonequivalent control group design model. The research data were obtained from 23 students of class IV A SD Muhammadiyah Macanan, Yogyakarta, as the experimental class, while the control class was 23 students from class IV B. The data collection technique used tests. The research instrument was in the form of multiple-choice test questions that had previously been validated by experts and empirical tests, which resulted in valid and reliable questions. The data analysis technique used an independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test. The results showed that the STEM-PjBL approach had a significant effect on student HOTS. There are differences in student HOTS before and after giving treatment. The differences in the HOTS’ mean were also shown in the experimental class and the control class.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to revealing and applying the local wisdom value, especially on Minang songs, for cultural literacy growth in elementary school to avoided of cultural depletion. The research uses hermeneutic analysis methods to reveal the values of local wisdom on Minang songs and ethnographic methods to photograph the process of implicating those values. The results of the study explain that the learning steps are done by collaborating and inserting the local wisdom values as means as cultural literacy with (1) appreciation; (2) imitating ; (3) express the song; (4) identifying and understanding; and (5) implementing the meaning of local wisdom. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan menerapkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terkandung pada lagu daerah khususnya lagu-lagu Minang dalam menumbuhkembangkan literasi budaya di SD agar terhindar dari ketercerabutan dari budaya. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis hermenutik untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai kearifan lokal lagu-lagu Minang dan metode etnografi untuk memotret proses pengimplentasian nilai-nilai tersebut. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa langkah pembelajaran dilakukan dengan dengan menggabungkan dan menyisipkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal sebagai sarana literasi budaya dengan cara: (1) Apresiasi; (2) Menirukan lagu; (3) mengekspresikan lagu; (4) Mengidentifikasi dan memahami makna nilai-nilai kearifan lokal; dan (5) Mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed at describing the moral values dissemination in elementary school. This research implemented descriptive qualitative research using study case. Data collection was conducted by doing an interview, observation, and documentation study. The result of this research showed that the moral values dissemination in elementary school is started by providing learning facility, teachers, and administration officer, until the behavioral example which will be easier to be imitated by the students. Religious extracurricular and important date of national agenda or religious agenda is the momentum of media teaching moral values effectively. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penanaman nilai-nilai budi pekerti di sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penanaman nilai budi pekerti di SD dimulai dengan penyediaan fasilitas belajar, mushola, kebersihan, dan peraturan yang mengikat kepala sekolah, para guru, tenaga administrasi, sampai dengan keteladanan perilaku yang baik sehingga mudah ditiru anak. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan dan hari-hari besar nasional maupun keagamaan merupakan sarana pendidikan budi pekerti yang efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of dance learning activities for elementary school students at the Pelangi Pujon Dance Studio, classify the character forms of elementary school students at the Pelangi Pujon Dance Studio, and describe the impact of dance learning on student characteristics. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. The results showed that the activities of elementary school students at the Pelangi Pujon Dance Studio were not only focused on dancing practice but interspersed with the cultivation of character education during learning. The forms of character that are implanted include cooperation, empathy, independence, courtesy, and help. The impact of learning this dance is the student's habit of applying positive characters in everyday life. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran tari bagi siswa sekolah dasar di Sanggar Tari Pelangi Pujon, mengklasifikasikan bentuk karakter siswa sekolah dasar di Sanggar Tari Pelangi Pujon, dan mendeskripsikan dampak pembelajaran tari terhadap karakteristik siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kegiatan siswa sekolah dasar di Sanggar Tari Pelangi Pujon tidak hanya terfokus latihan menari, tetapi diselingi penanaman pendidikan karakter selama pembelajaran. Bentuk-bentuk karakter yang ditanamkan antara lain kerjasama, empati, kemandirian, sopan santun dan tolong menolong. Dampak dari pembelajaran tari ini adalah kebiasaan siswa dalam menerapkan karakter positif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
