Abstract

Developmental disorders in autistic children are one of the problems that require early detection so that developmental deviations do not occur. This study aims to determine the gross motor conditions of autistic students and children developing at the same age using the TGMD-2 (Test of Gross Motor Development-2) instrument.(Ulrich, 2000). This study uses a quantitative approach using a survey method. Sampling used with purposive sampling technique through certain considerations including age and demographic conditions of the same area. The sample in this study consisted of 10 SLB students and 17 regular students with data analysis techniques in this study using quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that autistic children have a "Very Low" gross motor condition which is generally lower than normal children with the same age range as a reference. The results of this study are expected to help educators and health workers in providing an overview in order to transmit the gross motor skills of autistic children and provide appropriate program in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of lesson study in improving the teaching competence of Physical Education (PE) teachers at the elementary school level. The lesson study process which consists of three main stages: planning, implementation, and collaborative reflection, was applied in the context of PE learning in several elementary schools. Participants in this study came from physical education teachers from the Palembang (Indonesia) area, totalling 10 elementary school PE teachers. The quality of learning is measured by looking at two aspects: teaching skills observed from recorded processes on how teachers managed the classroom and from students' formative class evaluation questionnaire after the learning process. The initial measurement and training on managing the classroom were given to the participating teachers before the lesson study was conducted. Furthermore, the lesson study program was carried out for four cycles. The same measurement was taken before and after the lesson study was concluded. All data in this study were processed using IBM SPSS 27 with paired sample t-test analysis and effect sizes. The results of the study found that lesson study at the before and after stages was proven to significantly improve the quality of teacher teaching (p<0.05), but not at the teaching skills (p>0.05). The results showed that lesson study effectively helped PE teachers identify and correct weaknesses in their teaching, improve pedagogical skills and facilitate more interactive and quality learning. In addition, lesson study also encourages the development of a collaborative culture among teachers, which contributes to improving professionalism and learning quality. This study concludes that lesson study is an effective strategy to improve the teaching competence of PE teachers at the primary school level, and it is recommended to be applied more widely in teacher development programs.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini menganalisis transformasi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani (Penjas) di perguruan tinggi Makassar melalui pendekatan yang lebih personal dan adaptif. Model pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis teknologi diharapkan dapat memenuhi beragam gaya belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi model tersebut dalam konteks pembelajaran Penjas dan dampaknya terhadap pengalaman belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis tematik, yang meliputi pengkodean data, pengidentifikasian tema utama, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, Dosen berhasil menerapkan berbagai strategi, seperti pengelompokan siswa berdasarkan kemampuan dan penyesuaian materi terbuka, yang mengakomodasi kebutuhan individu. Peningkatan Motivasi belajar hingga 80%, dengan 75% menyatakan lebih tertarik untuk mengikuti kelas. Keterlibatan dalam kegiatan praktikum meningkat hingga 70%, dengan lebih banyak siswa berpartisipasi dalam diskusi dan aktivitas fisik. Penyesuaian materi dan metode pembelajaran meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, terbukti dari hasil evaluasi yang menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 15% dibandingkan semester sebelumnya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini secara signifikan meningkatkan pengalaman belajar dalam pembelajaran Penjas di perguruan tinggi Makassar. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a technology-based differentiated learning model in enhancing the effectiveness of Physical Education (Penjas) instruction in higher education institutions in Makassar. This model is designed to accommodate diverse student learning styles through a more personalized and adaptive approach. The research employs a qualitative method, utilizing data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, which include coding, identifying key themes, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that implementing this learning model increases student motivation by up to 80%, with 75% of students expressing greater interest in attending classes. Student engagement in practical activities also rose to 70%, particularly in discussions and physical activities. Furthermore, students' conceptual understanding improved significantly, as evidenced by an average score increase of 15% compared to the previous semester. Thus, this study concludes that the technology-based differentiated learning model significantly enhances students' learning experiences in Physical Education instruction at the higher education level.

Abstract

Mengetahui bagaimana konflik peran ganda, beban kerja, dukungan sosial, serta stres kerja mempengaruhi hasil kinerja guru PJOK SMP di Kabupaten Sleman merupakan tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian korelasi digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Partisipan adalah guru PJOK SMP di Kabupaten Sleman. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk metode penentuan sampel dengan jumlah 55 orang. Instrument pengumpulan data dengan skala likert. Analisis statsistik yang dipakai yaitu uji regresi sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian menyatakan (1) konflik peran ganda berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil kinerja guru PJOK SMP di Kabupaten Sleman dengan nilai sig sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan t hitung > t tabel (1,828 > 1,675). 2) Dengan nilai t hitung > t tabel (3,449 > 1,675) dan nilai sig (0,001 < 0,05) maka beban kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil kinerja guru PJOK SMP di Kabupaten Sleman. (3) nilai t hitung > t tabel (2,530 > 1,675) dan nilai sig (0,000 < 0,05) menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil kinerja guru PJOK SMP di Kabupaten Sleman. 4) Stres kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap capaian kinerja instruktur PJOK SMP di Kabupaten Sleman, ditunjukkan dengan nilai sig (0,000 > 1,675) dan nilai t hitung > t tabel (2,116 > 1,675). (5) Konflik peran ganda, beban kerja, dukungan sosial dan stres kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap capaian kinerja instruktur PJOK SMP di Kabupaten Sleman, ditunjukkan dengan nilai sig (0,000 < 0,05) dan nilai F hitung > F tabel (7,187 > 2,56). Knowing how dual role conflict, workload, social support, and work stress affect the performance of junior high school physical education teachers in Sleman Regency is the purpose of this study. Correlation research is used in this study. Participants are junior high school physical education teachers in Sleman Regency. Purposive sampling is used for the sample determination method with a total of 55 people. The data collection instrument uses a Likert scale. The statistical analysis used is simple and multiple regression tests. The results of the study stated that (1) dual role conflict has a significant effect on the performance of junior high school physical education teachers in Sleman Regency with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05 and t count> t table (1.828> 1.675). 2) With a t count> t table (3.449> 1.675) and a sig value (0.001 <0.05), the workload has a significant effect on the performance of junior high school physical education teachers in Sleman Regency. (3) The calculated t value > t table (2.530 > 1.675) and the sig value (0.000 < 0.05) indicate that social support has a significant effect on the performance results of junior high school PJOK teachers in Sleman Regency. 4) Work stress has a significant effect on the performance achievements of junior high school PJOK instructors in Sleman Regency, indicated by the sig value (0.000 > 1.675) and the calculated t value > t table (2.116 > 1.675). (5) Dual role conflict, workload, social support and work stress have a significant effect on the performance achievements of junior high school PJOK instructors in Sleman Regency, indicated by the sig value (0.000 < 0.05) and the calculated F value > F table (7.187 > 2.56).

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the learning outcomes of Physical Education, Health, and Sports through the values of body mass index, physical fitness, and clean and healthy living behavior of students in junior high schools. This study is a type of descriptive quantitative research that uses path analysis techniques. Data was collected by measuring students' height and weight, using the TKSI phase D test, using the PHBS questionnaire, and measuring students' PJOK scores. Data analysis was used with path analysis with a significance level of α = 0.05. The instrument used to measure nutritional status variables was a BMI test. To measure physical fitness, the TKJI test was used. For learning outcomes, it was done by collecting students' report card scores. The results of the research that has been carried out are 1) there is no relationship between BMI and PHBS with a sig value of 0.397. 2) There is no relationship between physical fitness and PHBS with a sig value of 0.397. 3) The contribution given by BMI and KJ is 3.3%. 4) Indirectly, BMI through PHBS on learning outcomes does not have a significant effect with a value of -0.014. 5) Indirectly, KJ through PHBS on learning outcomes has a significant positive effect with a value of -0.129. 6) The contribution given by IMT, KJ, and PHBS together to learning outcomes is 20.9%.

Abstract

Students need higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) to develop optimally and answer the challenges of the 21st century. In addition, HOTS also needs stimulation in the learning process to grow optimally, and the teacher's decision to stimulate HOTS is highly dependent on the teacher's attitude towards stimulating HOTS itself. Hence, the teacher's attitude towards stimulating HOTS must be revealed. However, until now, teachers' attitudes, especially in physical education, towards stimulating HOTS have not been identified with certainty due to the unavailability of valid and reliable instruments. This study aims to develop an instrument to measure physical education teachers' attitudes toward stimulating HOTS in student. This study used a research and development design with the development stages consisting of a content validity test, ICC test, construct validity, reliability test and concuren validity. Based on these tests, it can be stated that 29 statement items have met the validity and reliability standards. Hence, the PE-SHOTS questionnaire instrument developed in this study is suitable

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pencak silat dalam meningkatkan disiplin dan kepemimpinan peserta didik di SMA Negeri 2 Madiun. Pendidikan karakter di era digital menghadapi tantangan besar, salah satunya adalah pengaruh distraksi yang mengganggu pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Pencak silat sebagai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berperan penting dalam mendukung pengembangan karakter peserta didik, khususnya dalam aspek kedisiplinan dan kepemimpinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pencak silat memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan disiplin dan kepemimpinan peserta didik. Rata-rata persepsi siswa terhadap pencak silat dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan mencapai 89,40%, yang masuk dalam kategori baik, dengan aspek yang paling menonjol adalah peningkatan kedisiplinan dalam mengikuti latihan dan mematuhi peraturan. Sedangkan dalam aspek kepemimpinan, rata-rata persepsi mencapai 86,70%, yang menunjukkan bahwa pencak silat membantu peserta didik mengembangkan keterampilan kepemimpinan, seperti kemampuan memimpin, berkomunikasi efektif, mengambil keputusan, dan memotivasi peserta didik.   This study aims to analyze the role of pencak silat in enhancing discipline and leadership among students at SMA Negeri 2 Madiun. Character education in the digital era faces significant challenges, one of which is the influence of distractions that hinder the formation of students' character. Pencak silat, as an extracurricular activity, plays an important role in supporting the development of students' character, particularly in aspects of discipline and leadership. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. The results of the study indicate that pencak silat has a positive impact on improving students' discipline and leadership. The average perception of students regarding pencak silat in enhancing discipline reached 89.40%, which falls into the good category, with the most prominent aspect being improved discipline in following training and adhering to regulations. Meanwhile, in the aspect of leadership, the average perception reached 86.70%, indicating that pencak silat helps students develop leadership skills, such as the ability to lead, communicate effectively, make decisions, and motivate their peers.

Abstract

This study investigates the meaningful movement experiences of students involved in the Festival of Educational Sports, concentrating on their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development. Utilizing qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, the study seeks to comprehend the significance of engaging in physical activities both within school settings and outside of them, particularly in relation to the educational sports festival. The findings indicate that school-based activities, such as physical education classes and extracurricular sports, provide a formal environment for students to cultivate healthy habits, although their motivation to participate may differ. In contrast, sports activities outside of school are shaped by social influences, personal motivations, and the availability of facilities, with participation in sports clubs and community events offering avenues for personal growth and enjoyment. The Festival of Educational Sports, as explored in this research, presents an inclusive and enjoyable platform for students to enhance teamwork, social skills, and emotional intelligence. Participation in the festival encourages collaboration, self-expression, and the enjoyment of physical movement, contributing to the establishment of lifelong active habits and a healthy lifestyle. This study underscores the importance of creating engaging and meaningful sports experiences for young individuals, fostering their ongoing involvement in physical activity throughout their lives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan motorik kasar dan tingkat kebugaran siswa sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung berdasarkan partisipasi ekstrakurikuler. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel 120 siswa kelas IV-VI dari empat sekolah dasar yang dipilih secara  cluster sampling . Instrumen penelitian meliputi Tes Keterampilan Motorik Kasar ( Tes Perkembangan Motorik Kasar-2/TGMD-2 ) dan Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Siswa Indonesia (TKSI). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 13% siswa berada pada kategori unggul dan 38% di atas rata-rata untuk keterampilan motorik kasar, sedangkan 63% siswa laki-laki dan 52% perempuan masuk kategori baik untuk kebugaran fisik. Uji statistik mengungkapkan perbedaan signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler olahraga dan non-olahraga, dengan kelompok ekstrakurikuler olahraga menunjukkan nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi. Simpulan penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya partisipasi ekstrakurikuler berbasis aktivitas fisik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar dan kebugaran siswa. Temuan ini merekomendasikan sekolah untuk mengoptimalkan program ekstrakurikuler yang mendukung perkembangan fisik holistik. This study aims to examine the gross motor skills and physical fitness levels of elementary school students in Bandung City based on their participation in extracurricular activities. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach with a sample of 120 students from grades IV to VI across four elementary schools selected through cluster sampling. The research instruments included the Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2) and the Indonesian Student Physical Fitness Test (TKSI). Analysis results showed that 13% of students were categorized as excellent and 38% above average in gross motor skills, while for physical fitness, 5% were classified as very good, 57% as good, and 37% as moderate. Statistical tests revealed significant differences between students participating in sports extracurricular activities and those in non-sports activities, with the sports group demonstrating higher average scores. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of participation in physical activity-based extracurricular programs to enhance students’ gross motor skills and physical fitness. These findings recommend schools optimize extracurricular programs that support holistic physical development.

Abstract

The implementation Physical Education Learning will be influenced by various things, both extrinsic and intrinsic and after learning Physical Education, it will also have an impact on various things, including social skills in students. This research of the bachelor physical education program aims to determine the impact of physical education learning on the social skills of junior high schools in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The researcher will use a quantitative descriptive research design using the survey method. The location of this research is in the Sleman Regency, DIY. The population in this study is all students in junior high schools in the Sleman Regency Area, Yogyakarta which was taken by incidental sampling. The number of samples that have been successfully identified is around 500 students. The instrument used is in the form of a questionnaire either by means of a physical questionnaire (manual questionnaire) or online through a google form. The data analysis technique uses a descriptive statistical analysis technique with percentages. The results of the study showed that the distribution of data from 500 respondents was obtained as follows: 46 respondents (9.20%) obtained the very high category, 129 respondents (25.80%) obtained the high category, 122 respondents (24.40%) obtained the medium category, 174 respondents (34.80%) obtained the low category, and 29 respondents (5.80%) obtained the very low category. So, the conclusion is implementation of Physical Education of Junior High School learning in Sleman Regency falls into low category.
