Abstract

The gymnastic teaching at Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, UNY had been dominated by command and tasking approach. As a result, the expected goals were not effective so that there was a need to inovate learning model. This research aimed at improving advanced gymnastic learning process using resiprocal and inclusion approach. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). A number of 62 students taking gymnastic class in 2001/2002 were participated in this research. It employed observation sheets resiprocal and inklusion teaching style and questionaire to investigate students voice. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics. This research concluded that inclusion and resiprocal approaches were very effective for teaching gymnastic and students voice was also positive. Kata-kata kunci: Gaya mengajar, senam

Abstract

Physical education is an integral and inseparable part with national education, which is animportant factor that will determine any national development. However, this case is oftenmissed from someone’s oversees. The ability of a society to develop its economy and toparticipate in its political existence is verily depends on educational level they have. It iscommonly believed that mankind’s improvement and development in the field of scienceknowledge, skill, behavior morality, will be obtained through education which is a way to forsubject or unit of society to grow into better. As an applied knowledge, physical educationprogram must be in accordance with national education program which is an integral andinseparable part with national development program, that is to improve quality of life ofIndonesian man as wholeness. Therefore, the goal of physical education that states adevelopment of physical fitness, metrical skill, knowledge, social, and beauties is a goalwhich is appropriate to be supported.Keywords : Role, Physical Education, National Development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum maksimalnya pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani pada materi atletik dan belum diketahuinya minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran atletik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Jenawi Kabupaten Karanganyar dalam mengikuti pembelajaran atletik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dekriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII kecuali kelas VIII C karena dijadikan sebagai uji coba penelitian, dari 4 kelas dipilih 25 siswa dengan cara diundi, sehingga mendapatkan populasi sebanyak 100 siswa. Teknik analisis yang dilakukan adalah menuangkan frekuensi ke dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa minat siswa SMP Negeri 2 Jenawi Kabupaten Karanganyar kelas VIII terhadap pembelajaran atletik adalah cukup. Dengan pertimbangan frekuensi terbanyak berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 83,00%. Persentase minat siswa SMP Negeri 2 Jenawi Kabupaten Karanganyar kelas VIII terhadap pembelajaran atletik yang berkategori sangat tinggi adalah 0,00%, tinggi 11,00%, sedang 83,00%, kurang 6,00% dan sangat kurang 0,00%. Interest of students of class VIII junior high school on athletic learning Abstract.The background problem of this research because not maximal yet in physical education learning on athletic material and the students' interest in athletic learning was unknown yet. This research aimed to know the students’ interest in athletic learning at the eighth-grade students of SMP 2 Jenawi Karanganyar regency. This research was quantitative descriptive research. The method used in this research was survey method while the technique of collecting the data used questionnaire. The research subject was the whole of eighth-grade students except VIII C class because it was used as a research trial, from four classes was chosen 25 students randomly, it got a population of 100 students. The technique of analyzing the data used the frequency in the form of the percentage. The result of the research showed that students’ interest in athletic learning at the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Jenawi Karanganyar regency was enough. With consideration of the most frequency was enough with the percentage 83%. The percentage of students’ interest in athletic learning at the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Jenawi Karanganyar regency who had the highest category was 0,00%, high 11,00%, enough 83%, low 6,00% and the lowest was 0,00%.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mencoba mengupas tentang model pembelajaran yang dapat mencapai tujuan pendidikan jasmani secara menyeluruh, mulai dari perkembangan fisik, gerak, mental sampai perkembangan sosial. Hal tersebut didasari, pertama oleh kenyataan keterlantaran pendidikan jasmani di negeri ini, mulai dari belum terpenuhi kebutuhan guru pendidikan jasmani sampai pada pemenuhan kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana. Kedua oleh muatan sekolah yang lebih dominant pada school knowledge daripada everyday knowledge. Oleh sebab itu perlu digunakan model pendidikan jasmani yang dapat memenuhi muatan action knowledge dengan memanfaatkan sarana dan prasarana yang ada. Berangkat dari pemikiran bahwa sekolah adalah kehidupan itu sendiri, maka model pendidikan jasmani harus mencerminkan pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Kehidupan sendiri merupakan kompetisi bagi manusia, oleh sebab itu dapat diciptakan model pendidikan jasmani berbasis kompetisi, yaitu dengan menerapkan kompetisi terhadap cabang olahraga di lingkungan sekolah. Melalui kompetisi tersebut, peserta didik diharapkan dapat terlibat langsung dalam beberapa aspek yang berhubungan dengan kompetisi olahraga, selayaknya kompetisi olahraga di masyarakat umum. Model pendidikan jasmani berbasis kompetisi berasal dari siswa, oleh siswa dan untuk siswa. Siswa selakau peserta didik memiliki kebebasan memilih peran masing-masing, seperti dalam kehidupan yang sesungguhnya, di mana manusia harus menentukan peran masing-masing. Peserta didik harus mampu belajar dengan sendirinya, tidak harsu bergantung pada guru (self directed learning) melalui pengalaman dan tindakannya. Abstract

AbstractThis research purposed to evaluated the program of physical education learning that was viewed from the componentswere (1) context (2) input (3) process and (4) the school output. The context component were consists of programand purpose. The input component were consists of syllabus, lesson material, media or tool of learning, teacher,student, infrastructure and the condition of learning environment. The component of process were consists of thereadiness of physical education learning, implementation and evaluation. Whereas, the product component was theachievement or student’s value on the physical education learning in pondok pesantren Mu’alimin MuhammadiyahYogyakarta. This research was study of evaluation by using qualitative analysis and quantitative descriptive waspurposed to evaluate the physical education program. The population of study was all students of junior high school(VII and VIII class) and senior high school (X and XI class) of pondok pesantren Mu’alimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakartawhich amount 832 students. The sample of research were taken as much as 276 students, consists of 149 studentsof junior high school and 127 students of senior high school. The data of research was gathered through interview,observation, documentation and questioner, the result of this research founded that the management of physicaleducation learning program, if reviewed from the input form of the availability of the lesson material media, learningmedia, teacher, infrastructure and the condition of environment, if was viewed from the process in good category. Withthe average score was 2.60 (1-4 scale) according to student and 3.05 according to teacher was in good category. Ifwas seen from the achievement product or student’s value proved that the physical education was in good category.Key Word: evaluation, context, input, process, product, learning, physical education.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang ditinjau dari komponenkomponenberikut: (1) konteks, (2) input, (3) proses, dan (4) output sekolah. Komponen konteks terdiri atas programdan tujuan. Komponen iput terdiri atas silabus, materi pelajaran, media atau alat pembelajaran, guru, mahasiswa,infrastruktur dan kondisi lingkungan belajar. Komponen proses terdiri atas kesiapan belajar pendidikan jasmani,pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Sedangkan, komponen produk adalah prestasi atau nilai siswa pada pembelajaranpendidikan jasmani di Pondok Pesantren Muallimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitianevaluasi dengan menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengevaluasiprogram pendidikan jasmani. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa sekolah SMP (kelas VII dan VIII) dan SMA(kelas X dan XI) dari Pondok Pesantren Muallimin Muhammadiyah yang berjumlah 832 siswa. Sampel penelitiandiambil sebanyak 276 siswa, terdiri atas 149 siswa dari SMP dan 127 siswa SMA. Data penelitian dikumpulkanmelalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner, hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pengelolaan programpembelajaran pendidikan jasmani, jika ditinjau dari input ketersediaan media bahan pelajaran, media pembelajaran,guru, infrastruktur dan kondisi lingkungan, jika dilihat dari proses dikategorikan dalam kategori baik. Dengan skorrata-rata 2.60 (1-4 skala) menurut siswa dan 3.05 menurut guru masuk dalam kategori baik. Jika dilihat dari produkprestasi atau nilai siswa terbukti bahwa pendidikan jasmani masuk dalam kategori baik.Kata kunci: evaluasi, konteks, input, proses, produk, pembelajaran, pendidikan jasmani.

Abstract

Students attending KKN-PPL required to possess cardiorespiration fitness as well as good index of body mass andto know them need to test. This research carried out to know the fitness level of cardiorespiration and good indexof body mass for education and sport PGSD students in Wates Campus who attended KKN-PPL year 2012. Thisresearch method is survey with the subject of it is education and sport with study program PGSD students in WatesCampus who attended KKN-PPL year 2012, total numbers are 56 students consisting of 52 male and 4 femaleones. The technique of data withdrawal uses test and measurement. Instrumen for cardiorespiration fitness uses2,4 km running test from Cooper, and instrument for index of body mass measured by using IMB rule that is= BodyWeight (kg)/Body Height square (m). Result of the research shows that for cardiorespirasi fitness category: verygood and well trained is 1.8%; very good is 8.9%; good is 21.4%; medium is 37.5%; lack is 19.7%; and too lack is10.7%. While the result for mass body index category: fat is 5.4%; normal is 82.1%; and lack of nutrient I is 12.5%. Ifobserved based on type of sex, for male cardiorespiration fitness category: very good and well trained is 1.9%; verygood is 9.6%; good is 23.1%; medium is 38.5%; lack is 19.2%; and too lack is 7.7%. Female cardiorespiration fitnesscategory: medium is 25%; lack is 25%; and to lack is 50%. Index of body mass for male category: fat is 5.8%; normalis 80.8%; and lack of nutrient I is 13.4%. Whereas index of body mass for female, all are in 100% normal category.Keywords: Cardiorespiration Fitness, Mass Body Index.

Abstract

The problem in this research is students of class VIII H SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta have lack of interest andmotivation to move in the physical education process. The purpose of this research is increase interest and motivation.This study aims to increase the interest and motivation of class VIII H students when study softball game by applyingplay approach method play use a modified form of a plastic ball and a baseball. This research is a classroom actionresearch (PTK), which consists of two cycles, each cycle consist of once meeting. The research object is the entireclass VIII H students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta, there are 36 participants. Data collection techniquewere used a test, observation, and documentation. The results showed that class VIII H students’s interest andmotivation has increased significantly after they were given action by the researcher. The results of observation spiritmotivation of students increased by 36% at the end of second cycle. Results mastery of basic techniques softballgame students also increased, namely by 35% for basic technique throwing the ball, 50% to the basic techniques ofcapture, and 60% to the basic techniques of hit plastic balls. It can be concluded that the interest and motivation ofstudents in the learning following the softball game can be improved through the game of baseball and plastic balls.Keywords: Motivation, softball, modification, aids baseball and plastic ballsAbstrakPermasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya minat dan motivasi peserta didik kelas VIII H SMP Muhammadiyah2 Yogyakarta untuk bergerak dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmeningkatkan minat dan motivasi peserta didik kelas VIII H dalam mengikuti pembelajaran permainan bola softballdengan menerapkan metode pendekatan bermain menggunakan alat modifikasi berupa bola plastik dan bola kasti.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, yang setiap siklusnya terdiridari 1 pertemuan. Objek penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII H SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta,yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik.Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan adalah tes, observasi dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa kelas VIII H mengalami peningkatan minat dan motivasi secara signifikansetelah di beri tindakan oleh peneliti. Hasil observasi semangat motivasi peserta didik meningkat sebanyak 36% padaahkir siklus ke 2. Hasil penguasaan teknik dasar permainan bola softball peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatanyaitu sebesar35% untuk teknik dasar melempar bola, 50% untuk teknik dasar menangkap, dan 60% untuk teknikdasar memukul bola plastik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat dan motivasi peserta didik dalammengikuti pembelajaran permainan bola softball dapat di tingkatkan memalui permainan bola kasti dan bola plastik.Kata kunci: Motivasi, softball, modifikasi, Alat bantu bola kasti dan bola plastik

Abstract

Child living cannot be separated from playing. For child, playing is a means for exercising to be adult to develop hisinner potential. Teaching of physical education, sport and health implemented in primary school must be served inthe form of game so that child is eager to do the activity joyfully, and so with the gymnastics material. Gymnasticsis one of the physical education, sport and health in primary school which for part of children does not like with theexistence of it due to its difficultness, enough high risk of injured, so it seems to be frightened. Physical educationteacher must be aware that gymnastics education presented in schools is not competitive gymnastics, so it ismerely used as a means to achieve the aim of education. Thus its upmost aim is not his skill, but the child himselfis. Let the child grows in accord with his own capability. Give him as many chances as possible to move and to growin line with his ability. For the child is eager to do the gymnastics joyfully, present the gymnastics in the form ofgame, and guide him in line with his capability. Learning of gymnastics for primary school child is a means toachieve overall development, includes: physical, mental, social, emotional and moral. Gymnastics educationaims to enrich movement experience as much as possible and to increase students’ physical fitness.Keywords: playing, teaching, gymnastics and physical education.Abstract :Hidup anak tidak dapat dipisahkan dari bermain. Untuk anak, bermain adalah sarana untuk berolahragamenjadi dewasa untuk mengembangkan potensi batinnya. Pengajaran pendidikan jasmani, olahraga dankesehatan dilaksanakan di sekolah dasar harus disajikan dalam bentuk permainan sehingga anak yang inginmelakukan aktivitas dengan sukacita dengan materi senam. Senam adalah salah satu dari materi dalamolahraga, pendidikan jasmani dan kesehatan di sekolah dasar yang bagi sebagiananak anak tidak suka dengankeberadaan itu karena kesulitannya, risiko yang cukup tinggi dari cedera, sehingga tampaknya menjadi takut.Guru pendidikan jasmani harus sadar bahwa senam pendidikan yang disajikan di sekolah tidak senamkompetitif, sehingga hanya digunakan sebagai sarana untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Jadi tujuannyatidak maksimal keterampilan, tapi anak sendiri. Biarkan anak tumbuh sesuai dengan kemampuan sendiri.Berikan dia sebagai kesempatan sebanyak mungkin untuk bergerak dan tumbuh sejalan dengankemampuannya. Untuk anak ingin melakukan senam gembira, sekarang senam dalam bentuk permainan,dan membimbingnya sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Belajar senam untuk anak sekolah dasar merupakansarana untuk mencapai pembangunan secara keseluruhan, meliputi: fisik, mental, sosial, emosional danmoral. Senam pendidikan bertujuan untuk memperkaya pengalaman gerakan sebanyak mungkin dan untukmeningkatkankebugaran fisik siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pamanasan yang dapat mengajarkan siswa tunanetra gerak pemanasan/beraktivitas mengunakan media, dengan memberikan contoh berupa CD dan buku panduan kepada guru pendidikan jasmani di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB). Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengunakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development), dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu: (1) Analysis (tahap analisis), (2) Design (tahap desain), (3) Development Implementation (tahap pengembangan dan impelmentasi), (4) Evaluation (tahap evaluasi). Hasil dari penelitian tersebut menunjukan bahwa Model Pemanasan Berbasis Gerak Lagu Bagi Anak Tunanetra dinyatakan layak sebagai model pemanasan untuk anak tunanetra di SLB. Hal ini didukung oleh hasil uji kelayakan yang diperoleh dari beberapa penguji, ahli materi dengan skor rata-rata: (4,2) dengan kategori sangat baik, ahli media dengan skor rata-rata: (4,75) dengan kategori sangat baik, praktisi dengan skor rata-rata: (4,0) dengan kategori baik, dan uji lapangan mendapatkan skor rata-rata: (4,24) dengan kategori sangat baik. Sound and movement-based warming up model for children with visual impairment AbstractThe study aims at producing a warming model for teaching the students with visual impairment how to perform the warming-up activities by means of media. The warming up is modelled based on the CD and the manual for the teachers of Sports and Health Education in Special Schools. In order to achieve the objective, the study should be conducted by implementing the Research and Development (RD) efforts using the ADDIE Developmental Model which consists of: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development Implementation; and (4) Evaluation. The results of the study show that the Sound and Movement-Based Warming-Up Model for the Students with Visual Impairment is feasible to serve as the warming up model for the students with visual impairment in the Special Schools. The conclusion is supported by the feasibility tests from several experts as follows: (1) (4,20) with “Very Good” category from Material Expert; (2) (4,75) with “Very Good” category from Media Expert; (3) (4,00) with “Good” category from Practitioner; and (4) (4,24) with “Very Good” category from Field Testing.

Abstract

Abstract.Deaf are individuals who have barriers to hearing both permanent and non permanent. Classification of hearing impairment based on the level of hearing loss include: Hearing loss is very mild (27-40dB), mild hearing loss (41-55dB), hearing disorders moderate (56-70dB), severe hearing loss (71-90dB), extreme hearing loss / deafness (above 91dB). Because the characteristics and constraints of being owned, deaf children require special education services forms tailored to their abilities and potential, how to communicate using sign language. Individuals with hearing impairment tend to difficulties in understanding the concept of something abstract. Even with these limitations, children with hearing disability are also entitled to a proper instruction for the development and growth can run well, especially the development of motion or psikomotornya, namely through the study of physical education. Of course, the learning process for deaf children who are different from normal children. One motor Perkambangan psychomotor aspects that must be developed by deaf children in both the base class of gross motor aspects. Gross motor movement involving the large muscles in the body, such as walking, running, jumping, jumping and so forth. Gross motor skills in young children with hearing impairment will develop more leverage if supported by a process of the correct motion. Through physical education, one way to stimulate gross motor deaf children carried out with black green game. Individu tunarungu cenderung kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dari sesuatu yang abstrak. Meskipun dengan keterbatasan tersebut, anak penyandang tuna rungu juga berhak mendapatkan pengajaran yang layak agar perkembangan dan pertumbuhannya dapat berjalan dengan baik, terutama perkembangan gerak atau psikomotornya. Salah satu aspek psikomotor yang harus berkembang dengan baik pada tuna rungu anak kelas dasar yaitu aspek motorik kasar. Motorik kasar adalah gerak yang melibatkan otot-otot besar pada tubuh, seperti berjalan, lari, lompat, loncat dan sebagainya. Motorik kasar pada anak anak tunarungu akan berkembang lebih maksimal jika ditunjang dengan proses gerak yang benar. Salah satu cara merangsang motorik kasar anak tuna rungu dilakukan dengan permainan hijau hitam. Tentu saja permainan untuk anak tuna rungu sedikit berbeda dari permainan gerak anak normal. Permainan pada anak tuna rungu disesuaikan dengan kondisi panca indera yang masih dapat berfungsi. Permainan untuk merangsang motorik anak tuna rungu dilakukan dengan permainan hijau hitam yang menggunakan suara, misalnya bendera atau tanda yang lain, dan dimodifikasi dengan aba-aba menggunakan isyarat-isyarat yang dapat ditangkap melalui indera penglihatan, dan dengan peraturan yang jelas dan sederhana.Kata kunci: motorik kasar, tuna rungu, permainan hitam hijau.
