Abstract

AbstractThe performance assessment is to determine the degree of the quality of students in physical education based onthe curriculum ; material, defined indicator of the performance of students . therefore, in order to collect evidence oflearning and learning outcomes of students in physical education at school then the task is carried out by physicaleducation teachers with due regard to the principles of critical appraisal is accurate , economical , and encouragequality teaching physical education. Accurate means the results of the assessment contains an error as small aspossible , and economically meaningful assessment system is easy to do and inexpensive . The assessment systemused should boost the quality of learning , namely to encourage improvement in the learning process of physicaleducation .Keywords : performance assessment, physical educationAbstrakPenilaian kinerja ialah penentuan derajad kualitas siswa dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani berdasarkan kepadakurikulum; materi, indicator yang ditetapkan terhadap kinerja siswa.oleh sebab itu dalam rangka pengumpulan buktibelajar dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah maka tugas tersebut dilaksanakanoleh guru pendidikan jasmani dengan tetap memperhatikan prinsip penilaian yang penting adalah akurat, ekonomis,dan mendorong kualitas pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Akurat berarti hasil penilaian mengandung kesalahansekecil mungkin, dan ekonomis berarti sistem penilaian mudah dilakukan dan murah. Abstract

Softball is a team sport modified from baseball which have been developed and popular in the USA. It is a modified games since it could previously be played by male. George Hancock was the one who started to modify baseball with the purpose was to make the game was playable in the winter by establishing written rules named indoor baseball. The effort to socialize this game to children should be done as early as possible. Elementary school is a good starting point to introduce this games. Through school physical education, children can be introduced by various games in order to enrich student movement. One of the effort is to provide modified softball. Several problems which will be explore are why softwall needs to be modified, what is the advantage of the modification, and what are the modified forms of softball? Abstract

The dichotomy of physical education learning approach above is something interesting to be observed. Learning-centered teachers (teacher-centered learning) identified as a learning process that applies the principles of pedagogy, while learning-centered on student (student-centered learning) is a learning approach that applies the principles of andragogy. Pedagogical approach is more emphasis on efforts to transmit knowledge and skills of physical education in order to prepare students for life in the future. Instead, andragogy approach is more emphasis on guiding and helping students to find the experience, knowledge, skills and attitudes in order to solve the problems he faced. Tradisi BermainKemunculan buku Homo Ludens karya Johan Huizinga tahun 1950 telahmemberikan dasar filosofis yang sangat berharga bagi munculnya berbagaibuku yang membicarakan bermain. Huizinga juga telah mengeksplorasielemen bermain dalam kebudayaan. Studi itu telah menggugah para ahli pendidikandan psikologi untuk banyak menulis buku tentang bermain. Saat ini munculah bukubertajuk “Play Today in Primary School Play Ground” yang telah diterjemahkan kedalam bahasa Indonesia dengan judul Permainan Anak-Anak Zaman Sekarang DiSekolah Dasar.Buku yang lahir dari adanya konferensi internasional yang bertema “The State ofPlay : Perspective on Children’s Oral Culture” yang diselenggarakan di University ofSheffield oleh National Centre for English Cultural Tradition ini merupakan seleksitulisan-tulisan yang telah dipaparkan dalam konferensi tersebut, dalam bentuk tulisanyang telah direvisi dan dengan satu kontribusi tertulis, begitulah para editormenyebutkan mengenai buku ini dalam pengantarnya.

Abstract

This paper describes the importance of modification equipment and facilities in physical education teaching learning for elementary level. One of the physical education qualities is indicated by the adequate equipment and facilities. The ratio of teachers, students, and the equipment and facilities is important data in preparing quality teaching physical education. Physical education in elementary level is the basic building of the national sport system. The adequate equipment and facilities will bring a foundation for children to enjoy physical activity in physical education programs. By including equipment and facilities for physical education and sport in the law such as National Sports System Acts No. 3, 2005 and Regulation of the Ministry of National Education No. 24, 2007 about equipment and facilities standards for schools, the government has clear authority and regulation. In fact, different school has different capacity to provide adequate equipment and facilities. This can be solved by modification of the games and sport either from number of players, and teaching strategies. It is also necessary that the modification of physical education equipment and facilities is appropriate for elementary students. Winning and losing in games which are part of physical education programs is not the main point but how the children play it. Kata Kunci : Modifikasi, sarana, prasarana, pendidikan jasmani

Abstract

The expectation outcome of physical education health and recreation program (PJKR) FIKUNY as a physical educator teacher has four competence, that is (1) mastery of study area,(2) understanding of students, (3) mastery of educative learning, and (4) personalitydevelopment and professionalism. To be able to fulfill the competence standard andcertification as a beginner teacher it needed of some subject matter. The outcome target ofPJKR FIK UNY are saleable and competence in market work on their area. Because of thatrequire to supply by various skill and knowledge supporting the profession and duty as ateacher of physical education later. Pursuant to curriculum of PJKR 2002 there are somesubject matter less owning of relevance to candidate profession and duty as physical educator.On the contrary, there are some subject matter which still less of SKS and subject matterwhich ought to there is not yet written in curriculum PJKR 2002. Therefore, curriculum PJKR2002 specially and FIK UNY in general require to evaluate and studied to fulfill the competencestandard demand and certification as a beginner teacher of physical education.Keyword: PJKR 2002 curricullum, graduate competency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model permainan polo air sebagai pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani bagi siswa sekolah dasar kelas atas. Model permainan ini diharapkan mampu mengembangkan aspek afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotor bagi siswa sekolah dasar kelas atas. Hasil penelitian berupa model permainan, yang berisikan 10 model permainan, yaitu: (1) permainan satu sapu, (2) permainan lingkaran lumba, (3) permainan jaga kertasnya, (4) permainan estalun, (5) permainan sirip hiu, (6) permainan bom nelayan, (7) permainan lumba berebut bola, (8) permainan lempar target, (9) permainan lempar kejar, dan (10) permainan polo air. Model permainan disusun dalam bentuk buku pedoman dan DVD dengan dengan judul “Permainan Polo Air”. Developing a water polo game model as a physical educational learning for the upper class of elementary school students AbstractThis study aims to produce a water polo game model as a physical education learning for the upper class of elementary school students wich is decent. The simple game model is expected to be able to develop affective, cognitive and psychomotor domains for the upper class of elementary school students. The result of the research is a simple game model consisting of 10 models of the game, namely: (1) satu sapu, (2) lingkaran lumba, (3) jaga kertasnya, (4) estalun, (5) sirip hiu, (6) bom nelayan, (7) lumba berebut bola, (8) lempar target, (9) lempar kejar, and (10) polo air. Model games are arranged in the form of manuals and DVDs with the title “Water Polo Game”.

Abstract

Abstract The appropriate learning process for preschool children is by playing. Playing is inconsciously part of basic movement of pencak silat such as kicking, punching, eluding, or running. Not all of basic movements in pencak silat are appropriate for preschool children. Teachers need to be careful in selecting or defining appropriate technique and movement. In delivering basic movements of pencak silat for preschool children needs to include playing methods and develops socialization aspects including the use of language/ terminology modified in order not to have violent impression. Children do not need to be introduced about the concept of enemy, because the main aspect for them is to grow. Because growing them needs stumulations so pencak silat is only for fun, sport and discipline development, bot for sefl-defense. In other words, it needs to consider learning principals for preschool children. Leaning pencak silat using playing methods can be done by playing model, story telling, dancing, immitating movement, or demonstrating something. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this article was to explore the notion of continuing professional development (CDP) and its potentialapplication in Indonesian physical education. The article begins with the Indonesian professional development (PD)contexts, critiques on traditional PD, and the rationales to understand the concept of PD. It then explores the concept ofPD including situated learning/community of practice as its theoretical underpinning, and impacts on student learning.Furthermore, the article discusses the characterisctis of PD programs deemed to be effective. The characteristicsinclude structural features (e.g., types of activities, duration, collective participation), core features (e.g., focusingon the content, promoting active learning, implementing lesson plan), and coherence with other learning activities.Examples of effective PD in physical education were also presented. These examples are from some studies on earlycareer professional learning (Attard Armour, 2006), collaborative learning (Keay, 2006), and curriculum development(Parker et al., 2010).Kata kunci: Pembelajaran guru, pengembangan profesi berkelanjutan, pelatihan guruAbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi gagasan pengembangan profesi yang berkelanjutan dan potensi aplikasinyadalam pendidikan jasmani di Indonesia. Artikel ini dimulai dengan pengembangan profesi dalam konteks di Indonesia,kritik pada pengembangan profesi tradisional, dan alasan-alasan untuk memahami konsep pengembangan profesi.Selanjutnya, mengeksplorasi konsep pengembangan profesi termasuk yang terkandung dalam pembelajaran/komunitas dari praktek sebagai fondasi teoritis, dan dampak pada pembelajaran siswa. Selanjutnya, artikel membahaskarakteristik program pengembangan profesi yang dianggap efektif. Karakteristik termasuk fitur struktural (misalnya,jenis kegiatan, durasi, partisipasi kolektif), fitur inti (misalnya, fokus pada konten, mempromosikan pembelajaranaktif, melaksanakan rencana pelajaran), dan koherensi dengan kegiatan belajar lainnya. Contoh pengembanganprofesi efektif dalam pendidikan jasmani juga disajikan. Contoh-contoh ini berasal dari beberapa studi di awal karirprofesional belajar (Attard Armour, 2006), pembelajaran kolaboratif (Keay, 2006),dan pengembangan kurikulum(Parker et al., 2010).Kata kunci: Pembelajaran guru, pengembangan profesi berkelanjutan, pelatihan guru

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the various learning needs to proper integrated physical education withother subjects. The study was a descriptive analytic qualitative approach. The subjects were 12 physical educationteachers and 9 classroom teachers in the city of Yogyakarta. The data collecting in this study used Focused GroupDiscussion (FGD), interviews, observation, and documentation. The instrument of the study is FGD and structuredinterview guide, observation and documentation sheet. Analysis of the data used a qualitative data analysis. Thisstudy has uncovered a variety of needs integrated physical education with other subjects. The needs are (1) anunderstanding of the purpose of equalization physical education comprehensively, (2) intensive discussions betweenphysical teachers and classroom teachers to identify appropriate SKKD, and (3) mutual collaboration between physicaleducation teachers and classroom teachers to develop infrastructure and instructional media. Integrated physicaleducation with other subjects is expected to be one of the future alternative learning innovations in primary schools.Keywords: Learning, Integration, Penjasorkes, Elementary School.
