Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) The defferent in the effect of static and dynamic stretching exercise to torso’sflexibility of the student in the grade 3 and 4 of Elementary School; (2) The different of torso’s flexibility betweenboys and girls in the grade 3 and 4 of Elementary School; (3) Interaction between the effect of stretching exerciseand sex type to torso’s fexibility of student in the grade of 3 and 4 of Elementary School. The research method isexperimental, with the total population of all boys and girls in the grade 3 and 4 of all the Elementary School in theKulon Progo district are 261 School and 6.469 students. The research sample is determined by multi-stage randomsampling method, it is Ngemplak Elementary School of UPTD PAUD DIKDAS – Kalibawang with 20 boys and 20girls. Research instrument used to determine the level of child’s torso’s flexibility is a series of test which havebeen developed by the author and have been trialed before. Reliability coefficient obtained by Hoyt technique; totalreliability coefficient result are 0.719 for men and 0.700 for women. Validity coefficients obtained by the total sectiontechnique: the result for men torso’s flexibility test; r = 0.657 to the left side. As for women torso’s flexibility test: r =0.600 to the forward, r = 0.645 to the backward, r = 0.827 to the right side, r = 0.829 to the left side. All significant atthe level α = 0.05 The data analysis technique used is 2 x 2 ANOVA at significant level α = 0.05. F test results are:(1) for variable A that is static and dynamic stretching exercises obtained Fo = 45.565 Ft = 4.11 means that Ho isrejected and Ha accepted, in this case there is a significantly different effect between static and dynamic stretchingon torso’s flexibility for students in the grade 3 and 4 of Elementary Schools, (2) for variable B which is a Sex typeof men and women obtained Fo = 1.865 4.11 mean Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, in this case there is nodifferent of torso’s flexibility between the boys and girls in the grade 3 and 4 of Elementary School, (3) for inter ABwhich is the interaction between the effect of stretching exercise and Sex type to torso’s flexibility obtained Fo =3.292 Ft = 4.11 means Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, in this case there is no interaction between the effect ofstretching exercise and Sex type to the torso’s fexibility of the students in the grade 3 and 4 of Elementary School.Keywords: Stretching Exercise, Flexibility, Static, Dynamic, Torso.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the lack of management on activities in extracurricular organized by schools in KlatenRegency in order to develop the talents of the students. The research aims at fnding out how excellent the levelof management on ektrakurikuler program of sport achievement in SMA Negeri (State Senior High School) thatexist in Klaten Regency is. The instrument used in this study was by using questionnaire. This type of researchwas descriptive research. The subjects of the research were State Senior High Schools that are located in Klatenregency consisting of 15 teachers in charge of sport extracurricular activities. The data analysis techniwue was doneby percentage. The result of data analysis of the research that had been done on the survey of sport extracurricularprogram management in SMA as supporting factor of sport achievement in Klaten Regency is as follows: the excellentmanagement category is 2 schools (13.33%), the good management category is 1 school (6.67%), The mediummanagement category is 7 schools (46.67%), the less management category is 5 schools (33.33%), and the veryless management category is 0 school (0.00%).AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya manajemen kegiatan di ekstrakurikuler yang diselenggarakan olehsekolah-sekolah di Kabupaten Klaten dalam rangka mengembangkan bakat peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui seberapa baik tingkat manajemen program ektrakurikuler olahraga prestasi di SMA Negeri yangada di Kabupaten Klaten.Intrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Jenis penelitian iniadalah penelitian deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu SMA Negeri yang ada di Kabupaten Klaten sebanyak15 guru penanggung jawab kegiatan ektrakurikuler olahraga. Teknik analisis data dengan persentase. Hasil analisisdata yang telah dilakukan tentang survei manajemen program ekstrakurikuler olahraga di SMA sebagai faktorpendukung olahraga prestasi di Kabupaten Klaten sebagai berikut: kategori manajemen sangat baik sebanyak 2sekolah (13,33%), kategori manajemen baik 1 sekolah (6,67 %), kategori manajemen sedang sebanyak 7 sekolah(46,67 %), kategori manajemen kurang sebanyak 5 sekolah (33,33 %), dan kategori manajemen sangat kurangsebanyak 0 sekolah (0,00 %).

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to determine the enhancement of learning through play rope to enhance meroda students’ skills in class VIIIA MTs Ma’arif NU Pecan Purworejo in physical education subjects. This research is a classroom action. Subjects in this study were all students in grade VIIIA Ma’arif NU Pecan Purworejo MTs, which are 32 students and is 2 cycles and each cycle held 2 meetings. Data analysis techniques used to analyze the data in this action research using descriptive analysis. Instrument in this study using observation sheets, questionnaires, interview guides are filled by students, teachers, and friends of the observer. The study concluded that learning through games gymnastics floor meroda strap can further enhance students’ skills in meroda gymnastics practice it. This is evidenced by the results of practice has increased significantly. Indicators of achievement are the KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) that the test result data 75. Based on skills of students before the action gets the value 75 is less than 20 students or 62.5% and the value of more than 75 there are 12 students or 37.5%. After receiving the first act (cycle 1) students who scored less than 75 live 7students or 21.87%, so in this cycle there is an increase of 40.63%, meaning students who achieve all of KKM to 25 students or 78.13%. In the second cycle of students who scored less than 75 is not there or achieves a 100% increase.Keywords: Gymnastics, games, Meroda, Classroom Action ResearchAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pembelajaran melalui permainan tali untuk meningkatkan keterampilan meroda pada siswa kelas VIIIA MTs Ma’arif NU Kemiri Purworejo pada mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIIIA MTs Ma’arif NU Kemiri Purworejo, yang berjumlah 32 siswa dan dilaksanakan 2 siklus dan tiap siklus dilaksanakan 2 kali pertemuan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data dalam penelitian tindakan ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi, angket, pedoman wawancara yang diisi oleh siswa, guru, dan teman pengamat. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran senam lantai meroda melalui permainan tali dapat lebih meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam melakukan praktik senam meroda tersebut. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai hasil praktik yang mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan. Indikator ketercapaian adalah nilai KKM (kriteria ketuntasan minimal) yaitu 75.Berdasarkan data hasil tes nilai keterampilan siswa sebelum mendapat tindakan nilai kurang dari 75 adalah 20 siswa atau 62,5% dan nilai lebih dari 75 ada 12 siswa atau 37,5%. Setelah mendapat tindakan pertama (siklus 1) siswa yang nilai kurang dari 75 tinggal 7 siswa atau 21,87 % sehingga pada siklus ini ada peningkatan sebesar 40,63 %, berarti siswa yang mencapai KKM seluruhnya menjadi 25 siswa atau 78,13 %. Pada siklus kedua siswa yang mendapat nilai kurang dari 75 sudah tidak ada atau mencapai peningkatan 100 %.Kata Kunci: Senam, Permainan, Siklus, Meroda

Abstract

Pursuant to observations and facts which the writer sees frequently in thisfield, there are still a lot of physical education teachers showing less professionalismin their jobs. Professionalism of a physical education teacher can be seen while goingto teach his students in the field, for example in the teaching preparation, the management of exercises to be taught, the time management, the teaching materials mastering,etcetera.The ability of planning an athletic learning material at school has a close relationshipwith the management of the program of the athletic learning: whether it is going well ornot, how the learning sequences are, and also how to manage appliances and facilitiesis, etcetera.To plan an athletic learning at school, a teacher of the physical education has to comprehend the characteristics of each athletic branch and how to arrange matters of athleticlearning in the physical education. Abstract

Abstract The aim of this article is to know influence teaching with play volleyball model for increase of capability passing in playing volley ball. This article is the exeperiment with the one group pretest design posttest design The total population in this experiement there are 34 students. The instrument which use to know the capability passing in volleyball is with passing ball test. The analysis technics which use in this exsperiment is test t with level significant 5%. The result of this experiment, show that the influence significant of the teaching with volleyball model which the capability of passing in volleyball with value T count is 9,439 and the value T table is 1,692. Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is the lack of discipline in class X-D of SMA Negeri 1 Wates in the penjasorkes learningprocess. This research is aimed to improve students’ discipline of class XD in penjasorkes learning Process throughreinforcement. This research is a classroom action research which devides into two cycles, each cycle consists oftwo meetings.the Subjects of the researh were 32 students of SMA Negeri 1 Wates X-D. The observation and theinterview to the teachers used in the technique of data collecting. The results shows that students’ discipline of classX-D has significantly increased after the disciplinary action tought by teacher. It only reaches 35.9% level of disciplinefor the first meeting of the first cycle and reaches 67.1% for the second meeting of the first cycle. Unfortunately,the discipline has not complete minimum completeness criteria (KKM) after the first cycle is done. This Researchis successful if the level of discipline has already reached 80%. Continued in the first meeting of the second cycle,the discipline reaches 71.8%. Then, in the second meeting 4 of the second cycle of discipline reaches 85,%. It canbe concluded that the discipline of the students in participating Penjasorkes learning process can be enhancedthrough reinforcement.Key words: discipline, reinforcement, PenjasorkesAbstrakPermasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya tingkat kedisiplinan siswa kelas X D SMA Negeri 1 Watesdalam mengikuti pembelajaran Penjasorkes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa kelasX D dalam mengikuti pembelajaran penjasorkes melalui reinforcement (penguatan). Penelitian ini adalah penelitiantindakan kelas yang berlangsung dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Subyek penelitian adalahsiswa kelas X D SMA Negeri 1 Wates yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalahobservasi dan wawancara kepada guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas X D mengalami peningkatankedisiplinan secara signifikan setelah diberi tindakan oleh guru. Pada siklus I pertemuan pertama tingkat kedisiplinanhanya 35,9%, kemudian pada siklus I pertemuan kedua kedisiplinan berada di 67,1%. Setelah siklus I berakhirkedisiplinan belum memenuhi KKM. Penelitian dikatakan berhasil jika tingkat kedisiplinan sudah berada pada80%. Dilanjutkan pada siklus II pertemuan pertama, kedisiplinan mencapai angka 71,8%. Pada siklus II pertemuankedua kedisiplinan mencapai 85,%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedisiplinan siswa dalam mengikutipembelajaran penjasorkes dapat ditingkatkan melalui reinforcement (penguatan).Kata kunci : kedisiplinan, penguatan, penjasorkes

Abstract

In order not to make classroom action research (CAR) out of its core, at least there are five things that must be known and understood by a physical educator before designing and implementing classroom action research, which are: (1) CAR is a tool to improve or enhance the quality of teaching and educational implementation, therefore, appropriate learning methods and models should be chosen practically in order not to interfere or impede the commitment of daily duties; (2) the data collection techniques should not spend much time, so the main responsibility of physical educator/teacher is not neglected; (3) the research methodology should gives an opportunity for physical educator to formulate strong action reasearch hypothesis and determine appropriate strategies that suitable with the atmosphere and condition of the class; (4) The issues which raised should be updated and based on the responsibility of the area itself and also the problems which can be solved through CAR by physical educator itself; (5) CAR develop to the scopes of school. In this case, hopefully, all of school staffs give their participate and contribute, so that the other physical educator can feel the importance of that research. CAR will allows and facilitates physical educator to improve four competencies, those are: professionalism, pedagogical, personality, and social. The Understanding dan aplication of the CAR will help physical educator to developes four competencies requiered by the UU RI number 14 of 2005. Abstract

The appropriate learning process for preschool children is by playing. Playing is inconsciously part of basic movement of pencak silat such as kicking, punching, eluding, or running. Not all of basic movements in pencak silat are appropriate for preschool children. Teachers need to be careful in selecting or defining appropriate technique and movement. In delivering basic movements of pencak silat for preschool children needs to include playing methods and develops socialization aspects including the use of language/ terminology modified in order not to have violent impression. Children do not need to be introduced about the concept of enemy, because the main aspect for them is to grow. Because growing them needs stumulations so pencak silat is only for fun, sport and discipline development, bot for sefl-defense. In other words, it needs to consider learning principals for preschool children. Leaning pencak silat using playing methods can be done by playing model, story telling, dancing, immitating movement, or demonstrating something. Abstract

Accidents are not desirable. It makes someone lose their time, their wealth, and it cancause injury, cripple and even death. It can happens anywhere, at anytime, on anyone.Accident can happen on student when the sport lesson held.Sport lesson compared with other lessons, considering the characteristic, are accidentprone.Taking into account the level of physical and technique of junior and senior highschool pupils, the likelihood of the accident increased. To prevent those accident and theeffects afterward, the teacher must identify the sources.Accident in sport lesson can be caused by internal factor (intrinsic), e.g. exhausted, harumscarum,lack of skill and not having adequate pre-game warm-up and stretching. Otherpossibilities are came from outside factors (extrinsic), e.g. poor equipment and facilities,bad weather, terrible location, inadequate referee.Keyword: accident, sport lesson, Junior and senior high school.
