Abstract

Indonesia is rich in culture, it is important to re-understand the oral traditions of the people. Instilling religious values ​​through tembang dolanan to build children's moral character is now a challenge and problem that is very urgent and cannot be avoided. Many of the current generation are not familiar with local culture such as children's folk songs. Children's dolanan songs are local cultural wisdom as a medium for forming children's character. Dolanan songs can be used as teaching materials to instill character education in students. Children's folk songs must be preserved from generation to generation. The aim of this research is to describe and explain the religious values ​​contained in tembang dolanan as a form of instilling character education in children. The research design uses a qualitative descriptive method, while the data collection technique uses literature study. The results of this research found religious values ​​in children's dolanan songs, values ​​that are in accordance with Javanese cultural norms. The religious values ​​in Tembang Dolanan have an influence on religious teachings, especially Islam. Second; Instilling religious values ​​through tembang dolanan can help students get to know themselves, their own culture and the cultures of other people, express language, discover and use the analytical and imaginative abilities that exist within themselves.

Abstract

The moral reconstruction of students in Islamic education is to emphasize the necessity and importance of Islamic education in Indonesia. This arrangement and rearrangement is intended so that Islamic education both institutions and learning materials. In the era of Society 5.0, education integrates seamlessly with technology, enabling students to engage in learning activities alongside advanced technological tools. The disruption brought by technological advancements in education, particularly in Islamic education, is unavoidable. Consequently, educators and stakeholders are increasingly recognizing the critical role of technology in shaping Islamic education within this era. This study adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing a literature review method. Through descriptive analysis, data is collected from written sources, such as books and scientific journals, to explore and describe the reconstruction of Islamic education in the context of Society 5.0.

Abstract

Various function of Masjid as a centre of education since the begining of islamic age pulled the society to embrace a program and event in it. As the aging population going to touch it’s peak and the needs of carrying the Lansia is inevetible, Pesantren Husnul Khatimah bring a bunch of method and programs that fix the problems. The method of research is Qualitative based on literature and phenomena description. It leads to show that Masjid take a huge part of elderly education. Since the values of positive psychology studies reveal that masjid and it’s program contribute the elderly students (santri) to have a good relations, feelings of meanings, self acceptance, purpose in life etc.

Abstract

Akidah akhlak is a science that studies the beliefs and beliefs that Muslims must believe in because this will shape one's attitude and behavior because moral formation is upheld in Islamic education. In learning Akidah Akhlak material at the Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School, teaching still uses a conventional approach with the lecture method which causes the achievement of learning to not be achieved, so researchers are trying to provide a VAK learning model with Akidah Akhlak material in the Adab chapter in getting along. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) Learning Model on Akidah Akhlak Learning Outcomes of Grade 9 Miftahul Jannah Mantingan Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a quantitative approach experimental method Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design with Probability Sampling sampling technique with Simple Random Sampling type. Researchers took samples of learning outcomes from 20 students in each experimental class and control class with a total of 40 students. In the data collection technique, researchers used tests, documentation, and interviews, while in data analysis researchers used SPSS 25 to obtain the results of the Independent test calculation. The results showed that there was an effect of the Visual, Auditory, Kiesthetic (VAK) Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Akidah Akhlak Class 9 of Miftahul Jannah Mantingan Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has become an important element in supporting educational transformation in the era of society 5.0. This research aims to identify AI-based curriculum adaptation strategies that are relevant to the educational needs of the 21st century. The method used is literature by analyzing various literature, implementation practices, and case studies related to AI in education. This research focuses on three main aspects: planning, implementation, and evaluation of an AI-based curriculum. The research results show that AI can help curriculum planning through in-depth data analysis to produce adaptive learning materials that suit student preferences. In implementation, AI supports personalized learning through the use of virtual tutors, chatbots, and recommendation systems that adapt to individual learning styles. AI-based evaluation enables real-time data analysis to discover strengths and weaknesses in the learning process, thereby improving the overall quality of teaching. This research concludes that an AI-based curriculum can create education that is more inclusive, adaptive, and relevant to future needs. However, successful implementation requires technological infrastructure support, adequate digital literacy, and ethical guidelines for using AI in education

Abstract

This research aims to develop a teaching material book for the Translation Methodology course for Arabic Language Education students at STAI Ali bin Abi Thalib Surabaya. This teaching material is expected to strengthen students' learning motivation and provide clear guidance in the learning process. The development of this teaching material uses a Research and Development (R&D) model with the ADDIE approach, consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the analysis stage, the researcher identifies the needs of the institution, students, and the learning syllabus. The design of the teaching material is tailored to the essential components of a good teaching book. In the development stage, the teaching material is created and validated by experts, teachers, and students. Implementation is carried out in both small and large groups to assess its effectiveness. Evaluation is conducted to assess how well the teaching material achieves its learning objectives. The results show that the final product, a Translation Methodology teaching material book with a contextual approach, can be used in the learning process for sixth-semester students. However, the evaluation indicates that improvements are still needed in terms of content, layout, and reading sources to enhance the teaching material. Further research is required to refine and improve the teaching material to make it more effective in supporting the teaching and learning process at STAI Ali bin Abi Thalib Surabaya.

Abstract

Corruption in Indonesia is believed to have become an entrenched part of the social structure. Indonesia Corruption Watch reported that the number of corruption cases throughout 2023 reached the highest level in the past five years, with potential state losses amounting to IDR 28.4 trillion. Corruption damages the values of integrity and national identity, leading to a systematic decline in the quality of human behavior if left unaddressed. Efforts within the field of Islamic education have been carried out through character education aimed at shaping individuals who reject corruption. However, individual-based efforts alone are insufficient to eradicate systemic corruption. This study develops an anti-corruption education approach that not only cultivates individual morality but also promotes collective movements against corruption through the integration of Paulo Freire’s Critical Pedagogy theory with Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative method with descriptive, interpretative, and conceptual analytical approaches. The relationship between corruption, social structure, and the role of Islamic education is analyzed descriptively. Interpretative and conceptual analyses are conducted on Paulo Freire’s Critical Pedagogy theory and the values of Islamic education derived from the Qur’an and Hadith to formulate an anti-corruption education concept relevant to the Indonesian context.

Abstract

The Qur'an is a verse of Allah which literally means "perfect reading. The implementation of the concept of Living Qur'an in learning at MA Matholi'ul Huda Bugel is an important focus in the study of Islamic education This research underlines the importance of teachers' creativity in delivering material, which can be adapted in the implementation of learning at MA Matholi'ul Huda Bugel to improve students' ability to read the Qur'an. "Teaching Material Development Practical Guidelines For Reading Al-Qur'an in Learning Al-Qur'an at Griya Al-Qur'an of Surabaya" by Khoirul Huda and Mahsun Jayadi (Huda & Jayadi, 2018), highlights the challenges in the development of teaching materials effective. The education taught is an education that is considered to be able to provide the best provisions for students. There are many ways done by educational institutions to improve the quality of students' morals. The methodology of this study uses a qualitative approach to gain a deep understanding of the implementation of the concept of Living Qur'an in learning at MA Matholi'ul Huda Bugel.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the curriculum organization model based on pesantren in Islamic Education (PAI) subjects at Raudhatus Salaam Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta. The curriculum, as a systematic educational program, plays a significant role in shaping students' character and competencies, particularly in the modern era, which demands a balance between religious and academic education. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings reveal that the PAI curriculum in this boarding school adopts an integrated curriculum model, combining the Ministry of National Education curriculum and the Kulliyatu-l-Mu’allimin Al-Islamiyah curriculum from the Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor. This approach fosters synergy between national academic education and the unique Islamic education of pesantren. The model is relevant for further development in the context of Islamic education in Indonesia, especially in addressing the challenge of integrating religious values with formal education requirements. This study contributes to the development of a more adaptive pesantren curriculum design, offering practical solutions for Islamic educational institutions to address contemporary challenges.

Abstract

This research examines the cultivation of moral values in Islamic Religious Education learning to face the millennial era at MTs Dharut Tholibin. The research aims to analyze strategies, methods, and challenges in instilling moral values to millennial generation students. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through learning observation, in-depth interviews with Islamic Education teachers, school principal, and students, as well as documentation study. The results show that moral values cultivation is implemented through integration of digital technology with traditional learning, role modeling, religious practice habituation, and mentoring programs. Challenges faced include social media influence, digital lifestyle, and declining student interest in conventional learning. Adaptive strategies implemented include the use of digital learning media, interactive discussions on contemporary issues, and learning approaches relevant to students' lives. This research contributes to the development of effective Islamic Religious Education learning models for shaping the character of the millennial generation.
