Abstract

This study aims to find out the effect of students' self-efficacy and students’ sense of community on higher order thinking skills in physics learning. The research is correlational research with two variables, those are independent and dependent variables. The independent variables is self-efficacy and sense of community, while the dependent variable is the higher order thinking skills. The research is carried out in a month by using blended learning method towards the students of X IPA SMA Bandarlampung. The data obtained were tested using single linear regression and multiple linear regression. A single linear regression test of self-efficacy towards higher order thinking skills obtained R value that is .142. The correlation coefficient is positive. R value of .142 is in the very low range. This shows that self-efficacy is positive but its effect is very low, so it has no influences on the population. The single linear regression test of sense of community towards the higher order thinking skills obtained an R value of .242. The correlation is positive. R of .242 is in the very low range of influence, so it has no influences on the population. The multiple linear regression test of self-efficacy and sense of community towards higher order thinking skills obtained the coefficient of determination (R) of .270. R of 0.270 is in the very low range that means its no influence on the population. The calculated F value is 2.405. This value is smaller than the value of F table at a 5% significance level that is 3.15. This shows that there is a positive but no influences between self-efficacy and sense of community on students' higher order thinking skills. From those three relationships, no one has an influence on students' higher order thinking skills, but beyond the focus of the researchers.

Abstract

Lack of understanding to obey the legal rules that apply in Indonesia from some communities because these communities do not yet have a strong legal awareness so that these people do not really understand the meaning of every legal regulation that exists in Indonesia and there are even some people who do not know the existence of legal regulations certain that are implemented by the Government of Indonesia. Based on this, we can learn that there are still many violations of the rule of law by some people in Indonesia not because of the community's intention but because of the public's ignorance of the purpose of the existing legal regulations in Indonesia. Violations of the rule of law that occur intentionally are not carried out by the Indonesian people who actually already have good knowledge and knowledge of the law but still violate the law. To prevent this from happening, the Indonesian government is obliged to provide knowledge about legal education to all Indonesian people and from legal education it can increase understanding of the importance of legal education for the Indonesian people so that a harmonious Indonesian society can obey the law in Indonesia.

Abstract

In this life, there are differences in human behavior, so that they run according to their respective svadharma. A person's current position will be influenced by the nature he was born with, namely (sattvam) goodness, (rajas) lust, and (tamas) ignorance. Thus all thoughts, words, and actions of each individual is a reflection of one's behavior in society, then the influence of the nature of sattvam, rajas and tamas nature will have an impact on the level of belief of each individual. Opportunities in this life, which are influenced by the tri guna, even though they have different levels of understanding of beliefs, all of these can be used as basic capital to change all behaviors for the better. This can be realized when making a choice in acting or doing, if always by prioritizing the nature of sattvam. The Rajas and Tamas properties are used in the right circumstances and conditions. Educational Psychology can play a role in creating a number of effective ways of teaching. Educational Psychology emphasizes the teaching and learning process and the factors that influence it, both internally and externally.

Abstract

Love and wisdom are important in all of the religious traditions we have observed, though they are interpreted differently.  All people seek to live a good life, and the way that this can be known is through their religion’s moral and intellectual goals.  In the Western monotheistic traditions, the love that is shown towards other human beings is understood to be ultimately God’s love, and the best thing that people can do for each other is to show and share that love.  One loves for the sake of God, and because that love is the most important thing one can share.  Love is not passive, but rather active, involved in charity and helping others.
