Abstract

The online buying and selling service sector is one of the service sectors needed by modern society, the needs of modern society for online buying and selling services must be considered. Currently in Indonesia there is an online buying and selling service that allows consumers not to come to a store directly to buy a product. OLX is one of the means of buying and selling online that is of interest to Indonesian consumers, but there are still problems in OLX causing consumers to feel hesitant to use, as evidenced by the decrease in the number of OLX consumer transactions and complaints. This type of research is explanatory research, using a questionnaire as a data collection method. The research method used is the Non Probability Sampling technique with the sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. The number of samples determined by 100 respondents from undergraduate students in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Diponegoro University was chosen based on consideration. The study used Partial Least Square analysis techniques, which were estimated by the WarpPLS 3.0 program. The results of the analysis with WarpPLS explained that the results of the direct influence test on the research model showed positive and significant results. The indirect effect test on the research model also showed positive and significant results. Researchers gave advice to OLX to improve the quality of service both from the seller's side and OLX itself so that consumers feel comfortable, then improve the order delivery system which is thought to be long, and more promotions to the media that are close to potential consumers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of mobile operators in Indonesia in its journey was not immediately successful as it is now. There is a process and the time that it takes to be a reliable provider. The mobile phone is no longer a luxury item that use only wear certain circles. From adults to children, cellular phone is already a common goods and are also easy to use to communicate. However, based on the pre-study, researchers get the fact that there is a decline in customers to use GSM simcard simpati since the presence of competitors GSM provider. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality and customer value on customer loyalty GSM simcard simpati S1 case studies on the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. This type of research is explanatory research. document collection methods used were questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents using a sampling technique using multi-stage sampling technique and purposive sampling . Linear regression analysis and significance test is used to prove the hypothesis using SPSS.The results of this study show that in partial product quality has a positive effect on customer loyalty simpati. While the value of the variable customer has a positive effect on customer loyalty and simapati GSM simcard is the variable with the greatest influence. Simultaneously, the variable quality of the customer and the customer has an influence on the value of customer loyaitas by 32.6%. Based on the results of the study, the researchers suggested the company to improve product quality attention, especially if the signal strength is in a rural and mountainous areas, ease of facilities / features, reproduce cheap promo surf and phone at an affordable price by the students so as to increase customer loyalty to use GSM simcard simpati.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing of competition among the competitors of hospitality service company. There are several complaints from Hotel Patra Jasa Semarang employees regarding organizational culture, work environment and compensation. These problems affect employee performance which can be seen from the decline of performance appraisal results in 2013 and 2014 of Hotel Patra Jasa Semarang as much as 5 departments.The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of organizational culture, work environment and compensation to employee performance. The type of this research is an explanatory research, the sample collecting technique is purposive sampling technique and 110 samples as respondents with data collection technique using questionnaires and interviews. This research used simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, correlation analysis, t and f test, which is supported by SPSS 16.0The result of statistical research shows that organizational culture variable, work environment and compensation have positive influence to the employee performance of Hotel Patra Jasa Semarang. The employee perceptions of organizational culture variables are very good, work environment variables are quite adequate and the compensation variable is very good, then the employee performance variable is quite good.Based on the result of the research, the researcher suggested Hotel Patra Jasa Semarang to always maintain the organizational culture, improve and maintain the quality of work facilities that was available, develop and maintain the compensation system in Hotel Patra Jasa Semarang.

Abstract

Indonesian capital market development is rapidly since the 1990s, making the need for increased securities trading analysis. PER a favorite because it is quite easy to understand for investors and prospective investors. PER is part of the ratio of the market determines how the market gives the value or price of a company. Ability profitable a company as one of the main consideration sources of most investors to invest. Ability of high profits can be demonstrated with profitability ratios such as Return on assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). The rate of inflation causes economic conditions of a country shaking.This study aimed to determine the effect of ROA, ROE and Inflation to PER. This type of research is explanatory research or explanation. The population in this study is the financial statement data manufacturing company engaged in the field of Food and Beverage is listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 and 2011 and a sample of  the study was 15, a manufacturing company engaged in the field of Food and Beverage listed on the stock exchange Indonesia. Data collection in this study was done by non participant observation. In the data analysis using the classical assumption test, simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS program.Based on the survey results revealed that the ROA, ROE and Inflation positive and significant effect on PER, either partially or simultaneously. Simultaneously, the variable ROA, ROE and inflation effect on PER of 39.3 percent. This suggests that the overall return on assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and the Food and Beverage company Inflation 2010-2011 period can be a calculation in the determining  PER.

Abstract

This research is aimed to identify the effect of marketing mix: product, price, promotion and distribution on Yamaha NMAX purchasing decission in Semarang whether as parcial effect and as simultan effect. The type of research is explanotory research with 97 respondents which calculated using purposive sampling technique. Instrument data collection technique is by questionnaire and interview. Data were analyzed using liner regression analysis by SPSS For Windows. This research concludes that product, price, promotion, and place have positive and significant influence on puchasing decission partially. Furthermore, marketing mix has a positive and significant influence on puchasing decission and product is the most siginificant variabel. Concumer perseption of product, price, promotion and distribution are in good category. Then, purchasing decission is in high level. So, advice that can be given for PT. Yamaha Motor Manufaktur Indonesia is to improve that good perception higher with variate the product, use brand ambassador, fullfill the need fast, and provide new distributions channel.

Abstract

PT. Nasmoco Magelang Branch Office as a company in automotive field still have some low performance employees such as the achievement of targets that is not maximal either quantity and quality, lack of controlling from supervisor and lack of motivation from the employees. It is predicted because there is leadership and employee work motivation issue in the corporate. This research aim is to determine how the influence given by leadership and work motivation on the performance of employees of PT. Nasmoco Magelang Branch Office. The type of this research is explanatory type (explanatory research), with 50 respondents involved. Data collection using questionnaire with Likert measurement scale. Using validity and reliability test as data analysis method, also correlation coefficient (R), regression test, coefficient of determination (R2), and significance of t test and F test with SPSS 16.0 application. The results of this research indicate that leadership and work motivation variables have a significant, strong and positive influence to employee performance. Two variables have been tested separately or simultaneously show the result that leadership variables significantly have a strong positive effect on employee performance variable. That means if leadership and work motivation are good then the employee performance will be high, otherwise if leadership and work motivation are not good then the employee performance will be low. From coefficient of determination result, the amount of donations owned by leadership variables is bigger than the amount of donation owned by the variable of work motivation. Suggestions that can be submitted are the company must improve leadership and work motivation to have high employee performance, such as a clear direction from supervisor, supervisor should be able to motivate employee to achieve the target work, and supervisor can improve their control to the performance of their employee. Also by provide rewards for employee that work great so the employee will work with more enthusiast and will continously fix their performance so that their job will be better.

Abstract

Decrease the number of hospitalized patients suspected to be caused by the increase in service rates hospitals Soewondo Starch RAA. Aside from the issue of health care levy rate increase is also due to the performance indicators of hospitals RAA. Starch Soewondo weakened. So it is necessary to do research on "The Effect of Rates and Service Quality Customer Satisfaction on RSUD RAA. Soewondo Pati.  From the research it can be seen that the rates given by RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati can be perceived appropriate. Hospital Service Quality RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati perceived good. Costumer Satisfaction Patient Hospital Pati RAA Soewondo classified satisfied. Variable rates have a positive and significant effection customer satisfaction variable. Variable Quality of Service has a positive and significant impact on consumer satisfaction. Variable rates, and quality of service have a significant influence on consumer satisfaction, so the hypothesis is accepted.  Suggestions may be submitted by the author to the RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati are RSUD RAASoewondo Pati need to provide better service. It should be repaired speed of the accepted the patients that are considered less by some patients. And also more attention to patients personally, will cause the patient to be more comfortable. And Some Patients RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati, will feel more satisfied if the speed of the accepted the patients repaired and also incresing more attention to patients personally.

Abstract

With the increasing of human population and the growth of sains and technology causing the needing of product of technology becaming the primary needs, especially laptop. Many brands of laptop that available on the market, then there is increasingly intense effort from laptop company to capture large market share from other company. At this time segment of cars that become the market leader in Indonesia is Acer. However the sales of Acer Laptop in 2011-2014 are fluctuated. If it’s not addressed it will be a threat to it’s dominance on laptop market share.The purpose of this research was to determine the influences of brand image, product quality, and promotion, on purchase decision of Acer Laptop. This research method is explanatory on 100 respondents with purposive technique sampling. With data collection through interview, questioners, and literature review. The analysis technique used was quantitative. Quantitative analysis using cross tabulation, validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, as well as the significance test (t test and F test) and helped by application SPSS 16.0 for Windows.The result of statistic analysis known the influences of partially between brand image on purchase decision is 11,8 % product quality on purchase decision is 28,7 %, and promotion on purchase decision is 2,9 %,, the influences of simultaneously between product quality, promotion, and after sales service on purchase decision are 27,3 % whereas 72,7 % affected by other factors.From that results can be concluded brand image, product quality and, promotion influenced to purchase decision partially and simultaneously. Based on these conclusion so advice can be given for the Acer Company are to increasing brand image by increasing the quality of durability of laptop, notice the product quality with increasing the drurablity of laptop by replacing the hardware, doing exciting promotions and increase promotion frequency.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important resource in a company. Therefore, the management of the company should be able to manage its human resources properly in order to achieve job satisfaction for employees. The research was carried out at PT. Kharisma Ide Nusantara Garmindo Cibitung – Bekasi which object was contract employees. Based on the list of employees absent and late, as well as production data known that there is an enhancement of contract employee’s absent and late, as well as the enchancement of reject goods from 2010 to 2011. This research aims to determine the level of contract employee satisfaction at PT. Kharisma Ide Nusantara Garmindo Cibitung – Bekasi which showed from compensation, control, the work itself, labor relations, and job guarantees.  Type of research is explanatory research. The data used in this study is primary data obtained using a questionnaire data collection instrument. The population in this study were all contract employees of PT. Kharisma Ide Nusantara Garmindo and 84 respondents as the sample that used purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used in this research is a method of Importance – Performance analysis. Based on the Importance - Performance analysis concluded that the average of total variable compensation is equal to 85.45%, which is included in the category of very satisfied, for control variable is equal to 79.10% is included in the category are satisfied, for the variable itself is the work of 75.91% is included in the category are satisfied, for the variables of employment is equal to 79.64% is included in the category are satisfied, for the variables of job security is at 75.13% is included in the category are satisfied. It means that respondents are generally satisfied with the performance of compensation, control, the work itself, labor relation, and job guarantees at PT. Kharisma Ide Nusantara Garmindo Cibitung - Bekasi. But there were respondents that have less satisfied with the opportunities to leave in company, the monitoring system by using the tools, employee transportation facilities, adequate working equipment, as well as retirement. Advice can be given to companies is to improve the performance of companies that are considered important by the employees, but still received less attention from the company.

Abstract

The role of women in society nowadays is not just being a housewife, they participate to work because of the economic factors in their life. One of the sectors which likely to be chosen by people is the informal sector such as UKM. Many informal business have flexible working hours and give the workers a choice to choose their working time which suitable the capability of work. Dual role and flexible working hours can be a specific factors in case to increase productivity at work.  This research was conducted at UKM Konveksi Batik Semarang 16, aiming to describe and analysis of dual role and flexible working hours towards the productivity of women laborers. The method used in this research is a qualitative research. The type used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. This research is using accumulation with in depth interview with the research subject. This research shows that the dual role has not been always running well and balance. The productivity could be decrease because of the dual role has not been balance. The productivity shows good result of their quantity and quality production, but their fine timing often lack because of their performances. Flexible working hours can give a positive impact in their free time with their family but working hours like that could give an affect to their health due to exhaustion factor. Suggestions that can be given are 1) Women laborers must balance their dual role much better than before and try to divide up the house tasks with their husband 2) The owner can offer flexible working hours schedule to their workers 3) Women laborers should balance their dual role life especially when conflict happens and they must pay attention to their health.
