Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Al-Qur'an-based Islamic education management at Ma'had Aly Ki Bagus Hadikusumo Sukoharjo, especially in forming Independent Preacher who are able to overcome the challenges of the times. The research method was a case study with a qualitative approach, through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Observations were taken through the da'wah (preaching) development strategy carried out by Ma'had Aly Ki Bagus Hadikusumo and the objects of the researcher's interviews were leaders, administrators and Dai (Preachers), while documentation studies were obtained from references and literature related to the focus of the study. The results of the study indicate that the concept of Independent Dai, which combines da'wah expertise and economic independence, has made a positive contribution to the spiritual and economic development of the community. Islamic education management, namely integrated da’wah which includes planning, organizing, directing, and supervision has effectively produced professional and competent preachers. This study proposes the adoption of the concept of Independent Dai and effective management of Al-Qur'an-based da'wah by other Islamic educational institutions, to improve the quality of da'wah and strengthen the role of Islam in facing the challenges of materialism and individualism in modern society.

Abstract

This study aims to explore prenatal education methods in three crucial phases according to the perspective of the Qur'an and Sunnah: choosing a spouse, marital relationships, and pregnancy. The research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, where data is collected from documents and works of scholars and scientists. Phenomenology is used to understand human behavior as a product of how individuals interpret their world. The findings indicate that, in the spouse selection phase, Islam recommends choosing a partner with strong faith, preferably a chaste, fertile woman, not closely related, and not a polytheist. In the marital relationship phase, it is advised to recite a prayer before intimacy, engage in light conversations, and perform ablution before sleep and repeating the act. During pregnancy, prenatal education involves prayer, worship, and Qur'an memorization. Parents are urged to maintain their trust from Allah by educating their child from conception, ensuring both physical and psychological needs are met. For teenagers, learning about marriage before entering family life is essential. Society is encouraged to support a healthy environment for prenatal education, benefiting both parents and the unborn child.

Abstract

The educational methods based on the Qur'an and Hadith, particularly the educational approach of the Prophet Muhammad, hold great potential in shaping students' character and skills. However, in the modern era, these methods are often forgotten. This research aims to revitalize the Islamic educational methods found in the Qur'an and Hadith and to analyze their potential in developing 21st-century skills among Muslim students. Through a literature study that analyzes various sources, including tafsir books, Hadith, Islamic education books, journals, and related articles, this research examines six main methods: qudwah (exemplification), lectures, question and answer, demonstrations, mujadalah (discussions), and amtsal (metaphors). The research results indicate that these six methods have great potential in fostering 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and effective communication. For instance, through the qudwah method, teachers can become inspiring role models for students in applying these skills. Meanwhile, the lecture method helps students understand basic theories and inspiring examples, while also stimulating them to think more critically, creatively, and to boldly ask questions or express opinions. The mujadalah method encourages students to engage in discussions and exchange ideas actively, thereby enhancing their collaboration and communication skills. The amtsal method helps students understand complex concepts by simplifying them through analogies, which promotes creativity, collaboration, and more effective communication skills. Revitalizing the Islamic educational methods based on the Qur'an and Hadith is an important step toward improving the quality of Islamic education.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the need for a positive work climate in Muhammadiyah schools, which is essential to support teacher comfort, productivity, and job satisfaction. However, some schools still face challenges, such as insufficient support, ineffective communication, and gaps in individual development, impacting teacher collaboration and work quality. Therefore, this study aims to identify the characteristics of a positive work climate and its supporting factors from the perspective of teachers in Muhammadiyah schools. The research uses a qualitative approach with five participants who are teachers from Muhammadiyah Schools in Gunungkidul. Data was collected through online interviews via Google Forms and then analyzed using thematic analysis to identify relevant patterns in respondent perceptions. The findings reveal four main characteristics of a positive work climate: support, comfort, opportunities for development, and the absence of gaps among members. Additionally, factors influencing the work climate in schools include leadership, problem-solving methods, and individual attitudes. Strategies to create a positive work climate involve fostering good cooperation, open communication, mutual respect, and regard among organization members. This study provides valuable insights for school administrators in creating a supportive work environment that enhances teacher work quality and well-being, ultimately contributing positively to the achievement of educational goals in Muhammadiyah schools.

The MBKM policy is one of the policies created by the government, especially the Indonesian education minister, to answer the needs of students in the 4.0 era where technological progress is very rapid. One of the programs of this policy is a teaching campus which provides a platform for students to study and improve their abilities for 4-6 months outside the university or campus environment. This research method uses a qualitative method with a critical analysis approach, by collecting data through interviews and documents. The results of the research show that the implementation of the campus teaching program has gone well because from this program students' literacy and numeracy levels have increased, apart from that, students' abilities regarding self-confidence to speak in front of many people have also increased. It's just that there are still several obstacles that occur in the field.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of local culture-based character education in several regions in Indonesia, as well as explore the values applied in families and communities. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews and observations of female students from various regions at the Tarbiyah Madani College of Sciences Yogyakarta. Data analysis is carried out through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawn.  character education in various regions in Indonesia shows diversity in the values taught in accordance with their respective local cultures. In Java, character is formed through values such as discipline, honesty, and manners in the family, as well as social activities such as musafahah and mutual cooperation in society, which strengthen relationships between citizens. In Kalimantan, discipline, independence, and respect for others are taught in the family environment, while social activities such as mutual cooperation and fundraising in the community strengthen a sense of solidarity. Sumatra has traditions such as mutual cooperation in weddings and cultural festivals, which teach the value of cooperation, solidarity, and pride in local culture. Meanwhile, in NTB and NTT, the values of discipline, honesty, and cleanliness are taught in the family, with the community active in mutual cooperation and system to build a harmonious and safe environment. Overall, character education applied in various regions shows how local wisdom plays a role in shaping individuals who are responsible, caring, and respectful of social norms. These results indicate the importance of adapting cultural values in character education to create a generation that has strong moral, social, and cultural integrity in the midst of the influence of globalization.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the extent to which mothers play a role in internalizing the values of religious moderation education as well as the efforts made by mothers in increasing insight into religious moderation in the family environment in Sukamekar village, Sukawangi district, Bekasi, West Java. The research uses qualitative a Miles and Huberman method FGD (Focus Group Discussion) approach, as well as observation, interviews, and documentation. An educational parenting seminar was held at Majlis Ta’līm of Nurul Khoir in Sukamekar village, Sukawangi, Bekasi. Pretest and post test papers were administered to obtain data from mothers in Sukamekar village regarding their knowledge and understanding of religious moderation values. Based on the results of data processing, it was concluded that there was a change in the knowledge of the Sukamekar village community, especially among mothers who initially did not understand the importance of the value of moderation in maintaining family integrity and harmony. They can better understand and able to apply it in the family environment. This would contribute to establishing a more moderate community that is at the forefront of forming families filled with tranquility (Sakinah), love (Mawaddah), and affection (Rahmah), as well as to maintaining harmony in social and national life.
