Abstract

The research aims to analyze how the Human Development Index, Gross Domestic Product Growth, and Unemployment Rate affect the Poverty Rate in East Java Province during the period 2017 - 2024. The research sample uses data from all districts and cities in East Java. It employs a quantitative method based on panel regression analysis with fixed effects panel data technique, which combines time series data with cross-sectional data, allowing for more efficient estimation and control for unobserved individual heterogeneity. The findings of the study indicate that all three independent variables significantly influence the poverty rate together. However, poverty is only significantly negatively impacted by economic expansion, at least to some extent. There is no statistically significant relationship between the Human Development Index and the unemployment rate, although the direction of the relationship aligns with economic theory. This result highlights the importance of developing inclusive economies as a strategy to reduce poverty in the region.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of internal and external factors on sharia investment decisions in Ciamis Regency. Internal factors include financial literacy, investment experience, and religiosity, while external factors consist of economic conditions, government policies, and social environment. The research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that internal and external factors significantly influence investment decisions with a negative direction, suggesting that increased capacity and information intensity lead to higher levels of prudence among investors in Ciamis. These results imply that the regional government and sharia financial institutions need to provide more applicable and simplified education to convert this cautious attitude into real investment participation while maintaining the values of prudence in the local urban-religious society.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of client governance, vendor governance, and job security on Employee Work Performance through perceived organizational support among outsourced cleaning service workers at PT XYZ. This study is grounded in the complexity of outsourcing employment relationships, which involve two governance actors: the client as the service user and the vendor as the formal employer. Such a context requires aligned coordination, supervision, and work support to enable employees to achieve optimal performance. This study employed a quantitative explanatory research design. Data were collected from 110 outsourced cleaning service workers through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that client governance, vendor governance, job security, and perceived organizational support have positive and significant effects on Employee Work Performance. In addition, client governance, vendor governance, and job security also have positive and significant effects on perceived organizational support . The R-square value for Employee Work Performance was 0.715, indicating strong explanatory power, while the R-square value for perceived organizational support was 0.557, indicating moderate explanatory power. The mediation test results show that perceived organizational support partially mediates the effects of client governance, vendor governance, and job security on Employee Work Performance. These findings confirm that perceived organizational support is an important psychological mechanism linking outsourcing governance and job security to improved performance among cleaning service workers.
