Abstract

Tajweed education plays a very important role in fostering Al-Qur’an reading skills for elementary school students. Tajweed is a science that studies the rules and techniques of reading the Al-Qur'an correctly, both in terms of pronunciation and pronunciation of letters. In the context of education, understanding tajweed provides significant benefits to students in acquiring good Al-Qur’an reading skills. By learning Tajweed, students can recognize and pronounce Arabic letters correctly so that they can read the Al-Qur’an fluently and understand what they read. This helps students avoid mistakes when reading the Al-Qur’an, such as combining letters that should be separated or separating letters that should be combined. The purpose of this study is to determine the importance of tajweed education in developing the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an among elementary school students. The method of analysis used descriptive research methods to assess the impact of tajweed education on the level of understanding of reading the Al-Qur'an. The research findings show that tajweed education makes a significant contribution in improving students' ability to understand the Al-Qur'an accurately. The implications of this study include the need for further integration of more structured tajweed education and programs in the elementary school curriculum to ensure every student has a strong foundation in memorizing the Al-Qu'ran. By memorizing, students will learn patience, perseverance and discipline. Tajweed education also teaches Muslims moral and ethical values, such as honesty, humility and sincerity.

Abstract

Hadith translation is one of the important aspects in the spread and understanding of Islamic teachings around the world. One of the books that has become a reference source in translating Hadith is "Riyadhus Shalihin" published by the Indonesian Ulema Council (PMI). In this context, the role of Indonesian in the translation of Hadith on honest behavior becomes the main focus. This study analyzes the role of Indonesian in the translation of Hadith from "Riyadhus Shalihin", focusing on the aspect of honesty in translation. The results of the analysis show that honest and accurate translation of Hadith in Bahasa Indonesia has a positive impact in strengthening religious understanding and practice among Muslims in Indonesia. This study confirms the importance of honest translation of Hadith as a means of spreading Islamic teachings that are balanced and in accordance with Islamic principles.

Abstract

Islam is a religion that highly upholds the values ​​of faith and piety. Islam also strongly supports its followers to advance in the fields of education and science. Science is very necessary in life because only knowledge can create prosperity and prosperity for the people both in this world and in the afterlife. One branch of science that is very important in life, which we usually use in everyday life, is mathematics.Mathematics has a very big role in human life. One of the benefits of mathematics that we can experience is the creation of a tool for calculating time which we know as a clock. With a clock, we can know the five daily prayer times precisely. Then the discovery of the compass is also inseparable from its connection with mathematical concepts. With a compass, it can make it easier for us to determine the direction of prayer wherever we are.Based on the description above, the author is interested in deepening the discussion about the role of mathematics in the lives of Muslims. The aim of writing this journal is to increase knowledge and insight as well as an overview of how important mathematics is, especially in the life of a Muslim. The method used in this journal is a descriptive method by collecting data and information from books, journals or previous research papers.

Abstract

The etymology of mathematics in the development of Islam is an important study of Islamic spiritual history. This article discusses the origins of mathematical terms in the Islamic context and their important role in the development of science and culture in the Islamic world. This study describes the contribution of ulama to the development of the field of mathematics and the growth of Islamic civilization in its golden age. Through etymological studies, this article reveals how Arabic mathematical terminology such as "riyāḍah" (algebra) and "ḥisāb" (arithmetic) began to be known and spread widely in the scientific works of Islamic scholars. Apart from that, this article also highlights the important role of figures such as al-Khwarizmi, al-Kindi and Ibn al-Haytham in the development of mathematical concepts and their presentation in the West through translations of their works. Therefore, this research highlights the importance of understanding the etymology of mathematics in the development of Islam and its contribution to human civilization in general. Mathematics developed as the most universal science, experiencing the development of Islamic civilization. which represents an important contribution to Muslim scholars in the Islamic world. Mathematics in Islam has its origins in Arabic. Nothing created by Allah SWT was wasted, including mathematics... in fact, mathematics is the language used in the creation of the universe. Thus, to study and understand the Kauniyyah verses, mathematics is needed. Understanding the universe will lead to amazement at the power of Allah SWT. Apart from that, mathematics is also able to provide a deeper approach to understanding Qawliyyah verses

Abstract

This research aims to examine the importance of moral formation in children through Islamic religious education in modern times. The background of the research is the deterioration of morals and ethics among the younger generation caused by the negative influence of globalization and modernization. This phenomenon is very concerning, considering that children are the next generation of the nation who must be equipped with strong moral values. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing sources related to moral education in Islam. The results showed that the formation of morals in children through Islamic religious education is very important in this modern era. Islamic religious education can instill strong moral values, ethics, and spirituality in children, so that they have a fortress to face the bad influence of the modern environment. In addition, Islamic religious education can also develop children's intellectual, emotional and spiritual intelligence in a balanced manner. Children will grow up to be a generation with character, integrity, and be able to face the challenges of the times by instilling noble morals based on Islamic teachings early on. This study concludes that Islamic religious education is an important foundation in shaping children's morals in the modern era. Through habituation, exemplification, and internalization of Islamic values, children can be equipped with a strong character to face the negative influence of globalization. Therefore, the role of parents, teachers, and the surrounding environment is very important in supporting the formation of children's morals through Islamic religious education. Thus, it is hoped that the younger generation can grow into individuals with noble character and be able to make a positive contribution to the progress of the nation.

Beyond merely identifying the impediments, the article offers a plethora of insightful recommendations aimed at surmounting these challenges, accompanied by a delineation of pragmatic strategies for their effective implementation. Abstract

Zakat dan wakaf merupakan dua instrumen penting dalam ekonomi Islam yang memiliki peran signifikan dalam pengentasan kemiskinan dan pembangunan ekonomi umat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep, prinsip, dan praktik pengelolaan zakat dan wakaf dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menganalisis sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder terkait zakat dan wakaf. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa zakat dan wakaf memiliki landasan teologis yang kuat dalam Islam dan memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pengelolaan zakat dan wakaf harus dilakukan secara profesional, transparan, dan akuntabel agar dapat memberikan manfaat optimal bagi penerima manfaat. Diperlukan sinergi antara pemerintah, lembaga zakat dan wakaf, serta masyarakat untuk mengoptimalkan peran zakat dan wakaf dalam pembangunan ekonomi umat.

Abstract

Language and literature play a significant role in religious life. As the primary means of communication and expression, language is used to convey religious teachings, both orally and in writing. Sacred scriptures, religious sermons, and worship rituals often employ a distinctive language imbued with spiritual values. In religious life, language and literature serve complementary functions. Language is used to explain religious teachings literally, while literature plays a role in expressing spiritual values more profoundly and symbolically. Thus, language and literature have an important role in enriching religious life, both in the context of conveying teachings and expressing spiritual values through creative works. Abstract

Green economy and the implementation of Sharia Economy through Maqashid Syariah have synergy in sustainable development. In the Green Economy perspective, sharia economics has an important role in sustainable development, which includes social principles and Islamic business ethics, the principles of environmental preservation and reducing social problems, the principles of sustainable development, and the principles of falah which include protecting religion, preserving the soul, protecting the mind, protecting offspring, and maintenance of property. Sharia economics has great potential both at global and world levels. The existence of a master plan is one of the real efforts to strengthen the sharia financial industry. The aim is for the growth of the sharia financial sector to have a direct and significant impact on growth in the real sector which is fundamentally the main focus in the sharia economic system. Sustainable development is a very important goal in global economic development today. Sustainable development is defined as development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generations. In an economic context, this can be achieved by ensuring sustainable economic growth, a sustainable environment and sustainable social welfare. Sustainable economic growth is growth that can continue in the long term, without damaging the environment and natural resources. In this case, sharia economics can help create sustainable economic growth by eliminating practices that damage the environment and natural resources, such as the use of fossil fuels and industrial waste that are not well managed. Apart from that, sharia economics also promotes the concept of balance in economic transactions, which can help prevent economic inequality and unequal wealth in society. In the long term, this can help create a more balanced society and ensure that sustainable economic growth is accessible to all levels of society.

Abstract

Dalam artikel ini, peranan dan hubungan agama islam dengan pembangunan ekonomi dibahas. Keduanya memiliki kesamaan dalam mencapai tujuan yang sama, yaitu menciptakan kesejahteraan dalam kehidupan manusia. Agama Islam memungkinkan penganutnya untuk melakukan pembangunan, terutama pembangunan ekonomi, melalui sejumlah aturannya. Karena mereka bertugas sebagai khalifah di Bumi ini, manusia diharuskan untuk menjaga, menjaga, dan menjaga semua makhluk yang ada di sana. Semua makhluk ini dilarang dimusnahkan. Dalam ajaran Islam, lima hal menjadi landasan hidup manusia untuk mencapai kesejahteraan: agama (ad-din), jiwa (an-nafs), akal (al-aql), keturunan (nasb), dan harta (mal). Menurut perspektif Islam, pembangunan ekonomi dimaksudkan untuk mencapai kesejahteraan melalui lima komponen utama tersebut. Oleh karena itu, agama memiliki hubungan dengan pembangunan ekonomi untuk kemajuan negara.
