Abstract

This study explores how Islam guides the use of technology in daily life. Against the backdrop of the increasing role of technology in modern life, the aim of this research is to understand Islam's perspective on technology use and its implications in the context of daily life. The research method employed is content analysis of Islamic texts and a literature review on the application of technology in daily life contexts. The findings indicate that Islam encourages responsible technology use in line with Islamic moral values and ethics. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of understanding Islamic guidance in utilizing technology as a foundation to address challenges and opportunities in modern life.

Abstract

The relationship between Computational Thinking (CT) and Quranic memorization practices is the subject of ongoing research. The objective is to gain a deeper understanding of various algorithms, concepts, and patterns, as well as problem-solving abilities. An exploratory study was conducted to investigate the potential for integrating CT into Quranic learning to enhance the memorization process and the understanding of the content. A qualitative approach was employed to gain insights into the potential integration between CT and Quran memorization practices in improving students' digital and spiritual literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors hindering the growth of Islamic banks and explore the opportunities for Islamic banking in Indonesia. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing literature review as the data collection technique. The findings indicate that factors influencing the development of Islamic banks in Indonesia include public understanding of the Islamic banking system, availability of qualified human resources, adequate capital, supportive factors such as the number of branch offices, and the development of information and technology systems. Moreover, significant opportunities exist for the expansion of Islamic banking, such as regulatory support from the government, particularly through Law No. 10 of 1998 and Law No. 21 of 2008, as well as support from Bank Indonesia. The presence of a majority Muslim population, the financing needs of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector, and the influence of the global Islamic economic movement are also driving factors for the growth of Islamic banking in Indonesia. This study provides insights into the factors influencing and the opportunities available in the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia, serving as a guide for stakeholders in formulating policies and strategies to support the Islamic banking industry in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pemahaman tentang kredit dalam perspektif Islam serta implikasinya dalam praktik keuangan dan ekonomi berbasis syariah. Kerangka penelitian mencakup tinjauan terhadap tujuan dan fungsi kredit, jenis-jenis kredit, serta prinsip-prinsip yang harus dipatuhi dalam transaksi kredit menurut ajaran Islam. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode library research, memungkinkan analisis mendalam terhadap konsep kredit dalam Islam melalui pengumpulan dan analisis data sekunder dari berbagai sumber terpercaya. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi bahwa kredit dalam perspektif Islam dapat dilakukan dengan mematuhi syarat-syarat tertentu, termasuk menghindari barang-barang ribawi, memastikan serah terima barang tepat waktu, serta mencapai kesepakatan yang jelas antara penjual dan pembeli.

Abstract

Faith and piety play an important role in physical education to develop spirituality in students. By implementing religious values into all aspects of physical learning, students can develop into broad-minded and responsible individuals. Abstract

Community welfare has become a development challenge in many countries, including Indonesia. Islam as a religion that is rahmatan lil alamin offers solutions in the form of zakat, infaq and alms. Subuh almsgiving, namely almsgiving done specifically at dawn, has become a philanthropic movement that is increasingly in demand. This research uses a qualitative approach with an interview method to examine the meaning, priorities, impacts and development strategies of the Subuh Alms Movement among female students at the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Dormitory. The research results show that Sedekah Fajr is understood as a form of devotion to Allah SWT and social care. This movement has spiritual virtues such as erasing sins and increasing faith, and is believed to bring blessings of good fortune. Students involved in this movement experience benefits in the form of increased enthusiasm for worship and stronger Islamic values. The Subuh Alms Movement also has an impact on strengthening social ties between female students and the community around the Tahfizd dormitory. Those who give alms believe that the wealth they give will be multiplied by Allah SWT. This research identifies the importance of strategy in building the Subuh Alms Movement. Developing individual awareness and intention to be the main key. This can be achieved through the establishment of a religious knowledge council and the formation of a mosque youth community that actively provides education and outreach about the virtues of alms and social responsibility to female students and the general public.

Abstract

Sports are often viewed merely as physical activities aimed at enhancing fitness and physical health. However, beyond the physical movements lies a deeper dimension often overlooked—the spiritual aspect. This study explores the harmony between body and spirit within the context of sports, drawing from various religious and philosophical traditions. The research employs a qualitative design through a literature review to investigate the spiritual dimension in sports. The findings suggest that integrating spiritual practices like meditation and reflection can enhance athletes' performance, focus, stress management, and overall well-being. Moreover, the application of religious and spiritual concepts in training and team management promotes holistic well-being, fostering physical, mental, and spiritual growth in athletes. This holistic approach transforms sports into a means for achieving inner peace and harmony, making athletes not only physically strong but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually resilient..

Abstract

This study aims to compare the concept of criminal liability in Islam and positive law in Indonesia. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing how criminal and civil law in the field of sports through various sources, articles, books, documents, etc. The results showed that there are some fundamental differences between the concept of criminal liability in Islam and positive law. In Islam, criminal liability applies only to reasonable and legally capable human beings, while in positive law it can apply to both individuals and legal entities. Islamic criminal law is based on religious texts (Qur'an and Sunnah), while positive law is based on laws and regulations made by humans.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Zakat, Infaq, Sedekah (ZIS) on inflation flows in South Kalimantan for the 2021-2023 period. The type of research used with quantitative methods taken from access to data reports published by the Central Statistics Agency, the National Amil Zakat Agency, and Bank Indonesia. The data analysis technique used in this research is a standardised and continuous test. The results of the research by looking at the existing data will be obtained by benefit analysis which shows that zakat has a positive and significant effect on inflation flows, but ZIS cannot be the main benchmark in regulating inflation flows. The process analysis method shows that giving zakat fitrah, Infaq, and sadaqah to the poor, gharim, muallaf, ibnu sabil directly and giving money through devaluation has important consequences for the equalisation of the South Kalimantan economy in 2021-2023

Abstract

The practice of conditional giveaways on Instagram has gained significant attention, with various individuals and organizations utilizing this method to distribute gifts and prizes. This study aims to explore the perspectives of university students regarding the provision of grants or prizes in conditional giveaways on Instagram, specifically focusing on the aspects of transactional fairness and justice. The research examines the Instagram account @diah.giveaway as the platform for conducting the giveaways. By employing a combination of qualitative research methods, including interviews, surveys, and data analysis, this study investigates the perceptions of university students towards the fairness of transactional processes and the distribution of rewards in conditional giveaways. The findings shed light on the ethical considerations and social implications of such practices, providing valuable insights for both giveaway organizers and participants. This research contributes to the broader understanding of the dynamics and impact of conditional giveaways on Instagram, emphasizing the importance of transparency and justice in these online transactions
