Abstract

The learning process would be effectively when supported by various planning, including the use and utilization of instructional media. Instructional media were employed to facilitate the process of understanding information and convey learning messages. Identifying the appropriate instructional media can influence the achievement of the teaching and learning process. SMP Alquraniyah Nurul Huda Martapura was a school unit that is relatively newly established, and thus, the teaching and learning process still requires methods that can support students' progress. The main issues identified in this community service activity were: 1) a lack of utilization of digital technology in delivering learning materials in the classroom, 2) the teaching process mostly relies on conventional methods, and 3) the English language background of the partners was weak. In addressing these challenges, the wrtiter utilized digital comic media, which considered more engaging for students due to its colorful and attractive visuals. The results achieved in this community service activity include a significant improvement in the reading skills of SMP Alquraniyah Nurul Huda students, as evidenced by their reading practice results after several days of learning to read Narrative Text using Digital Comic Media.

Abstract

Green mustard is a vegetable that is generally used by the community as food to be processed into vegetables. Besides having benefits for the health of the body, green mustard also has economic value that can be processed into various kinds of processed products, one of which is green mustard noodles. Fresh green mustard has a fairly short shelf life, so farmers must sell it immediately after harvest. If the vegetables are not sold in the market, the mustard greens will wither and spoil. Based on this problem, it is necessary to hold training on green mustard processing to extend the shelf life of mustard and increase farmers' income through added value of green mustard processing.   The method of implementing the service was carried out using the lesson study method. This method consists of 2 stages, namely: the planning stage and the implementation stage. This green mustard processing training has increased the knowledge and skills of the participants in processing green mustard into noodles. This activity processes green mustard into noodles which can be used as another business opportunity for participants. In general, this service activity was rated very well by the participants.

MSMEs AL Farizi Tapis is one out of the MSMEs within the province of Lampung whose method of listing orders, stock, and bookkeeping is done physically and never makes even a business report. The problem is that MSME’s decline order. The problem that occurs is that MSMEs refuse orders because there are no raw materials or the time to purchase raw materials takes a long time, as well as the processing time which is felt to be tight so there is concern that the filter craft will not be on time. Apart from that, bookkeeping which is done manually is also difficult because it often happens that people forget to record or there are missing notes regarding orders and transactions. MSMEs have never carried out warehouse management so they don't know what stock of raw materials is still available or has run out. A simple integrated application is needed that can help MSMEs organize production schedules, order recording, transaction records, warehouse management, and financial reports to optimize MSME business processes. The service used Participatory Action research and training methods. After carrying out service, MSMEs can use the Krealogi application so they can minimize incorrect recording or loss of order records or sales transactions, missed production plans, and the absence of financial reports.

Abstract

The availability of clean water sources is the main source of problems due to inadequate materials and equipment such as pumps and water distribution pipes. To overcome this problem, well construction was carried out by installing pumps and connecting drainage pipes. Implementation of the service is carried out through several stages which include the preparation stage, construction stage and evaluation stage. The construction of this well is made as simple as possible, namely by connecting a suction pipe from inside the well to the pump, then from the pump a pipe is connected out to the imtak, then from the imtak a pipe is connected to the bathroom which is directly used for daily needs. The equipment used includes a Dab type pump with a power capacity of 450 watts and a water flow produced of around 32 liters/minute, a reservoir with a volume capacity of 1,100 liters in 2 tanks, drainage pipes of the paralon type with sizes 1/2' and 1 /4” plus supporting materials for piping installations such as pipe elbows, pipe glue, water taps and adhesives. The height of the imtak tower is around 2.5 meters above the surface of the dug well, which is made of concrete in the form of a talud. Every time you fill this imtak with water, the water used for daily needs can last ± 2 to 3 days.

Abstract

A psychologically comfortable atmosphere in schools and Islamic boarding schools needs to always be sought. Moreover, the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School has thousands of students. One of the obstacles currently being faced is the insufficient quantity of guidance and counseling implementers or counselors, especially regarding their quality. Focusing on improving counseling services provided by guidance and counseling teachers and homeroom teachers, we help improve skills in providing psychological first aid to students or students who experience psychological instability. We offer training with the concept of Psychological First-aid (PFA), which is a series of actions or things that must be done to help strengthen the mentality of someone who is experiencing a crisis or unstable condition. The technique used is Appreciative Inquiry in Asset Based Community Development. As a result, homeroom teachers and guidance and counseling teachers understand the importance of psychological assistance and a series of actions provided to help strengthen the mental health of santri/students who are experiencing a crisis or unstable condition. Guidance and guidance teachers and homeroom teachers also understand the sequence of steps that must be taken when providing assistance.
