Abstract

This study aim was to develop an e-module based on antimicrobial test studies in microbiology courses. Type of research used is research and development with ADDIE model development. The study subject was student of State University of Malang who has taken the course of Microbiology. The instrument used is questionnaire validation of material and media experts and questionnaires for students. The percentage of results from material expert validation is 95%, the media expert's validation is 98% and the readability test is 88%. Based on the result, it can be concluded that e-module based on antimicrobial test research is valid and feasible to be used as teaching material in microbiology course.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the validity of cognitive restructuring techniques manual that contain Pepatah Petitih to reduce students’ bullying verbal behavior. The manual was developed using the Borg & Gall development model, the validation was obtained from media experts testing, counseling experts testing, cultural experts testing and potentials users testing using rating scales. The numerical data were analyzed by Aiken’s rater agreement and interpreted by the index rater agreement. Non-numeric data are used as reference to improve the manual. Validation results show that the manual are valid and appropriate to be used.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the form of teacher apperception in early reading and writing learning for young children in the biMBA AIUEO. This study uses a qualitative approach to the design of field studies. Based on the results of the study, it was found that in apperception teachers in learning to begin reading can be classified into three things, namely analogy, question-answer, singing. First, use an analogy. The analogy conducted by the teacher includes (1) analogy using flashcard media, (2) analogy using objects and or symbols. Second, do question and answer. Question and answer that is done by the teacher includes questioning the old or previous material and question-answer of new material. Third, do the singing. Singing activities performed by the teacher use the BDG-KMPSY song.

Abstract

This article aims to look at the role of family in the moral development of children in the former localization environment. This research was conducted in January at Ngujang 2 Elementary School located in Kedungwaru Sub-district, Tulungagung regency with the subject of 2 students 'with different family conditions. This research use a qualitative research method of case study type. Data collection starts from observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the role of the family environment in child moral development is crucial. Each child's family will get science that is not found in formal educational. The family environment plays a role in organizing a child's life. Organizing your children will grow in everyday life. The family environment becomes a foundation in every child development. Good and bad in child development is also determined the role gained from the family.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the effect of the PBL model combined with TAI on metacognitive skills. This quasi-experimental research uses a Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques through pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed with the help of SPSS 23 for Windows to determine the effect of the PBL model combined with TAI on metacognitive skills. The results showed that the students' metacognitive skills learned through the PBL model combined with the TAI were significantly higher than through the PBL, TAI and conventional models. The average difference in the PBL model combined with TAI to PBL was 7.38%, PBL combined TAI to TAI was 28.42%, and PBL was combined with TAI to conventional by 29.93%.

Abstract

The hundred incense craftsmen in the village of Dalisodo initially had jobs as farmers and ranchers until finally they chose to become hundred craftsmen of incense. The existence of hundred incense craftsmen in the Dalisodo village is very influential on the development of the Dalisodo village especially in the Malang Regency because they are able to produce high quality products and the products are marketed all the way to Bali Island. The method of this research uses qualitative. With this type of approach to femenology. And in determining subjects using puposive sampling. In carrying out every activity, the hundred incense craftsmen possess the role of economic education, including from the family, craftsmen, laborers, and in the hundred incense production process.

Abstract

This research was focused on the influence of the strategy of cognitive conflict based on the students pre-test to reduce misconceptions on the concept of mechanical wave. Method which is used in the research was quasi-experiment. The research used two subjects which are experiment class and controlled class. Each classes have 32 students who have same abilities based on their pre-test scores. To analyze the data, Anacova was used for statistical analyzing. The result of this research showed that the strategy of cognitive conflict successfully reduced the misconceptions of the students.

Abstract

The purpose of study is know critical thinking skills of students who were taught using Brain Based Learning plus mind map in thermochemistry. The students consisted of two samples were different prior knowledge. The research design was a posttest-only design. The population for this study was all students of eleventh grade public high school 1 Wonoayu Sidoarjo, while the sample was taken from the population using cluster random, results of hypothesis test using two ways ANOVA showed that Brain Based Learning plus mind map and prior knowledge had effects to critical thinking skills. There was no interaction between learning model with prior knowledge to critical thinking skills thermochemistry.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the means of cohesion in the formation of the wholeness of discourse in a collection of love poems by Kahlil Gibran entitled "Melancholocic Gibran Works by Soul-Raising Syahdu". The approach used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and this type of research uses the type of discourse analysis research. The data in this research are in the form of excerpts from poetry that can describe cohesion and coherence in a collection of love poems by Kahlil Gibran. The data source of this research is a collection of love poems by Kahlil Gibran entitled "Melancholocic Gibran Works by Soul-Saving Souls". The results of this research are grammatical cohesion tools used by a collection of love poems by Kahlil Gibran entitled "Melancholocic Gibran by Soul-Enhancing Syahdu Works" are exophoric references, anaphoric references, wordfora references, nominal substitution, elliptical clauses, additive and conjunctive coordinating conjunctions, are exophoric references, anaphoric references, wordaphoric references, nominal substitution, elliptical clauses, additive and conjunctive coordinating conjunctions, are exophoric references, anaphoric references, wordaphoric references, nominal substitution, elliptical clauses, additive and conjunctive coordinating conjunctions. resistance, attribute subordinative conjunction, and subordinative conjunction time.

Abstract

This study is intended to describe challenges faced by English teachers in the Vocational High Schools of Agriculture during the implementation of 2013 Curriculum. This study used descriptive qualitative research design which was conducted at two Vocational High Schools of Agriculture in South Kalimantan. The result was devided into five items based on the research questions. The first was challenges in designing lesson plan. The second was challenges in the lesson implementation. The third was challenges in the learning assessment. The fourth was challenges in the classroom management practice. The last finding dealt with the implementation of professional development strategy.
