Abstract

This research tries to answer the following research questions: (1) how is the perfection of the purwa leather puppet performance entitled “Cupu Manik Astagina” as a sermon? (2) What lessons are taught? and (3) How are the lessons delivered through the leather puppet performance? This research is a descriptive-qualitative research. The data collecting technique was conducted through library research, observation and interview, and documentation. The research results show: (1) the perfection of the performance of purwa leather pupet entitled “Cupu Manik Astagina” as a sermon cannot be gained optimally as it only achieves the the targhiblevel, not the takhrujlevel. (2) The religious lessons given are those related to hablumminalllah (relationship with God), hablumminannaas(relationship among human beings), dan hablumminal ‘alm(relationship with nature). (3) The methods of delivering the religious lessons are methok, and medhang miring.

Abstract

The teaching profession has consequences and  it  needs programmed and continuing guidance and development strategies to support the improvement of professionalism. Through Continuing Professional Development, teachers can maintain, improve, and develop knowledge and skills to implement learning processes professionally and optimally. Quality learning is expected to be capable of improving students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Continuing Professional Development  from the aspect of professional development is expected to assure that every teacher can attain and  fulfil  the competency standard and acquire competencies in accordance with the professionalism level and can provide standard and quality services in learning in order for learners  to be capable of developing themselves  based on their potentials. From the aspect of  career development, Continuing Professional Development  can assure teachers in obtaining credit points that they need for their career levels, having opportunities to develop their professional careers based on their wishes, and developing their professional experiences based on their responsibilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses internalisasi pengajaran seni tari di SLTP Negeri se Kabupaten Sleman DIY. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, artinya mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran secara apa adanya. Alat utama pengumpul data penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran seni tari dilakukan dengan cara sosialisasi, enkulturasi atau pembiasaan, sehingga internalisasi tercapai. Hasil pembelajaran yang dicapai siswa juga akan menunjukkan keberhasilan guru dalam pelaksanaan mengajarnya. Prestasi seni tari secara afektif berpengaruh terhadap prestasi pembelajaran tiga mata pelajaran yang lain. Melihat hasil penelitian ini disarankan perlunya penelitian lanjutan dengan sampel yang lebih luas pada sekolah lanjutan. Kata Kunci: sosialisasi, enkulturasi, internalisasi, seni tari.

Abstract

Estetika (estetik, Yunani: Persepsi indera) merupakan bidang yang mengkaji tentang keindahan, baik keindahan alam  maupun seni. Sedangkan yang mengkaji tentang keindahan dalam seni sering disebut sebagai filsafat seni. Kenikmatan estetis dalam seni merupakan bidang dalam filsafat seni. Kenikmatan estetis dalam seni merupakan bentuk ontologi dalam seni. Di dalamnya mengadaikan proses estetis manusia dalam menangkap estetika seni. Estetika seni merupakan sifat dasar dari suatu karya seni. Manusia menangkap sinyal estettis tersebut sebagai sebuah rangkaian „kerja‟ dari rasa. Seni menampilkan keindahan sebagaimana adanya dan manusia menangkap hal tersebut. Proses menangkap estetis tesebut sebagai sebuah proses yang filosofis. Filososfis di sini diandaikan adannya proses-proses yang panjang dalam diri manusia. Di sini rasa memainkan peran yang penting. Di samping rasa ada fantasi dari diri manusia sebagai makhluk yang mempunyai rasa estetis, dengan kadar yang berbeda-bede.

Abstract

Pada seni pertunjukan “ronggong” (Tandhak/Teledek) di Malang, terdapat fenomena persaingan yang disebabkan adanya “aktor” di balik panggung, yaitu “pelandang”, “Pengendang” atau “ketua Paguyuban”. Peran yang dijalankan oleh para “aktor” memilik dua aspek, bersifat positif dan negatif. Aspek positif berkaitan dengan pola penyajian, populeritas, dan perlindungan, sisi negatif berupa aspek yang mengancam profesi mereka. Para “aktor” di balik panggung dapat menghalangi bahkan dapat mematikan popularitas para ronggong; bahkan berdampak pada aspek gender yang melandasari semangat untuk tetap eksis. Tandhak selalu mendapat pemahaman yang bersifat negatif, pola moral-estetik yang diperoleh dari pendidikan non-formal membawa dampak yang sangat rentan terhadap hegemonitas; yaitu penekanan dan intimidasi “sinioritas”. Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan Multikultural dalam konteks keindonesiaan memiliki peran dan fungsi yang sangat penting. Sebagai negara yang memiliki keberagaman budaya, masyarakat rentan dengan konflik sosial. Salah satu keberagaman itu terdapat Pulau Batang Dua. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana nilai-nilai musik tradisional Tali Dua dan bagaimana nilai-nilai pendidikan multikulturalisme pada musik tradisional Tali Dua di Pulau Batang Dua, Ternate, Maluku Utara dapat dilakukan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah verifikasi data, reduksi data, dan penyajian data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan multikulturalisme dapat dilihat dalam fungsi musik Tali Dua pada acara perkawinan dan acara Lawidi. Nilai pendidikan multikulturalisme juga terdapat pada internal kelompok musik Tali Dua, yakni setiap karakter dan kultur anggota yang berbeda menyatu dalam kelompok musik Tali Dua sebagai nilai-nilai budaya bangsa yang harus dijaga, dilestarikan, dan dikembangkan.Kata kunci: pendidikan multikultural, musik tradisi, Musik Tali Dua EDUCATIONAL VALUES OF MULTICULTURALISM IN TALI DUA TRADITIONAL MUSIC IN BATANG DUA ISLAND, TERNATE CITY, NORTH MALUKUAbstractMulticultural education in Indonesia has a very important role and function. As a country with cultural diversity, people are vulnerable to social conflict. One of the diversities is in Batang Dua Island. The problems in this research are how the traditional musical values of Tali Dua and the values of multicultural education on Tali Dua traditional music in Batang Dua Island, Ternate, North Maluku can be done. The method used in this research is the qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis involves data verification, data reduction, and data presentation. The results showed that the values of multicultural education can be seen in the function of Tali Dua music at the wedding ceremony and Lawidi event. The value of multicultural education is also found in the musical group of Tali Dua, that is, each character and culture of different members converge in the group as the nation’s cultural values that must be maintained, preserved, and developed.Keywords: multicultural education, traditional music, Tali Dua Music

Abstract

This study is aimed at identifying the forms and the purpose of happening art performance in mass demonstration frequently taking place nowadays. The subject of the study is the primary resources, namely the mass demonstration agents consisting of the activators, the performers and the supporters, as well as the viewers or the society in Yogyakarta watching the performance in the demonstration. The data were collected through observation, documentation, literature and interviews. The study shows that the form of the happening art performance consists of some elements like: 1) duration, 2) performers, 3) make-up, 4) costume, 5) stage, 6) property, 7) dance movements, and 9) verbal expressions. Meanwhile the purpose of performing a happening art is to make the demonstration easy to be understood by the society. Key Words: happening art, mass demonstration

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran mata kuliah tembang di jurusan pendidikan seni tari UNY. 2) Mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang menghambat proses pembelajaran mata kuliah tembang di jurusan pendidikan seni tari UNY.Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada saat mata kuliah berlangsung dengan metode observasi,wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan pada 10 mahasiswa di kelas N semester 4 pada mata kuliah tembang adalah : Faktor-Faktor Penghambat Mata Kuliah Tembang di jurusan pendidikan seni tari UNY pada mahasiswa luar jawa,sering mengalami kesulitan pada logat,pengucapan. Perbedaan bahasa dan cara pengucapan antar daerah yang berbeda,notasi yang menggunakan bahasa jawa,pengalaman awal pada tembang. Kata Kunci : Faktor Penghambat,Pembelajaran,Tembang ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine: 1) Implementation of learning courses in the department of dance education UNY. 2) Knowing what factors are inhibiting the process of learning courses in the department of dance education UNY.This research uses descriptive qualitative. This research is done at the time of course with observation method, interview, and documentation.The results of the research conducted on 10 students in grade 4th semester on the tembang course are: Factors inhibiting the Tembang Course in the department of dance education of UNY on the students outside Java, often have difficulty on the accent, pronunciation. Abstract

As human creation, fine art is a human or cultural fact as well as asemiotic fact. A fine art has a specific existence that distinguishes it from otherhuman facts, that is an existence feature inseparable from the balanceconsideration between reason and feeling. Therefore, despite an artist' freedomin actualizing and appreciating what he wants to express, he needs to hold thebasic principle of fine art, namely its closeness to human life. The basicconcept of the art is as a starting point and the artist' mirror to reflect his duty tokeep its potential of typical areas and to open new art horizon in creating a newclassification system. This is a real step expected to determine the art's positionand bargaining value in this rapid growing era.Key words: fine art, and social changes
