The Provincial Government of East Java seeks to improve the welfare of the community and overcome socio-economic problems through local grant-making mechanisms. One form of grants carried out by the Administration of Development Bureau (ADB) is road infrastructure development. The implementation of the project has risks that have an impact on the use of ineffective and inefficient regional budget (APBD). Risks obtained from literature which were analyzed to determine the effect of these risks on the sustainability of the program. The Differential Semantic Scale questionnaire was conducted first to assess the relevance of risk to the implementation of the regional grant program. The next step is Risk Level Analysis. At this stage the probability and impact calculation of each risk is carried out. The questionnaire was used to obtain respondents opinion who were responsible for the implementation of the regional grant program. 3 risks have been generated which are included in the high risk level of 26 relevant risks. ADB needs to pay attention to risks, especially priority risks in the management of infrastruture grant program. The findings in this study provide new references in the field of risk management.

Social interaction in housing and settlements affects the achievement of individual privacy need. Social interaction and privacy are two concepts that are equally important in achieving the sustainable housing concept. Moreover, between both must be balanced that daily living activities can be expressed equally. This paper is focused on the analysis of spatial privacy mechanisms in housing with communal culture, where there are high social values. This study is conducted in the natural setting by using qualitative design research. Data collection is used in several tactics. Firstly, using theoritical review, the model of privacy mechanism by Altman (1980) is used as the core of theory. Then, the theory is tested in specific case study, which is using non-participatory observation by observing the activities of participants in several times. Secondly, through participatory observation with in-depth interviews, the perceptions of privacy are explored to reveal specific expression of privacy mechanism in spatial arrangement. This result shows that cultural aspect is closely related to the participant's personality in managing his privacy needs. High social value in communal housing causes individuals to have verbal and non-verbal privacy mechanisms by considering community groups. Then, environmental mechanism obtained by creating a private space in social spaces.

In urban areas, especially urban settlements, low thermal comfort at pedestrian height and the high use of building energy are two interrelated conditions. Geometry of built environment is a factor that correlates with thermal conditions of the location and comfort. Understanding how geometry of built environment affects conditions and thermal comfort can be the basis for improving thermal condition as well as increasing thermal comfort. This study examines the influence of urban settlement geometry to thermal conditions and thermal comfort of urban space. An experiment was carried out on ten blocks, consisting of two block models and two orientations: Blocks with Different Height-to-Width Ratio (H / W = 0.8-1.5-2.3) and Blocks with the Same Height-to-Width Ratio but With Different Left-Right Height (H / W = 1.5-1.5'-1.5 "), respectively in the North-South and East-West orientation. The ENVI-met 3.1 program was used to simulate the conditions and thermal comfort of the blocks in the hottest day conditions. The results of this study indicate the geometry of the urban settlement influences two factors or thermal environment, i.e., direct solar radiation reception or block irradiation duration and wind speed. Features of the geometry affecting the thermal conditions are angle of the sky opening and block's orientation towards incoming winds. These two features are regarded as the dominant factor influencing the overall thermal conditions and comfort of the settlement blocks. This study also confirms that hight-width (H/W) ratio as the main parameter governing thermal conditions and comfort of the block.

Religious tourism is not separated from the activities which can affect the development of the region and can make it uncontrolled. Developments that can change significantly and uneven can harm various parties around the tourist area. Such developments can lead to a change in function and result in lifestyle shifts surrounding tourist areas. Therefore, integration is necessary for the establishment of a quality tourism plan in urban areas. Integration is an important aspect of changing in urban environments as it can create a space that has the attractiveness and mutual benefit between regions one and the other regions. The research method used is logical argumentation where the research relies on the argument as a reference in the aspects and results of research. Data collection techniques in research with interviews, observations, cognitive mapping and literature studies, after that done with data analysis using legibility analysis to identify the urban form in local and regional, sense of community identity and contributions or its role in the city then proceed with triangulation which aims to check the results of data test or data accuracy, then interpreted according to the context. This study results in what aspects can affect the change in tourist area functions and can be used as an integrated aspect of the surrounding environment.

Marketing strategy has its own important roles in increasing sales. By formulating the right marketing strategy, a company can increase its sales significantly. 4Ps marketing mix is a tool, consist of Product, Price, Promotion, and Place, that widely used to formulate marketing strategy. It will be beneficial for a company if they know which P is the most important, so they can formulate specific marketing strategies and allocate their resources effectively. This study aims to find the important weight of each P in the 4Ps marketing mix used in the retail sales of urea fertilizer by PT. X using the Analytic Hierarchy Process. AHP is a method used by many decision-makers to solve Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problems. Because of its simplicity and flexibility, AHP is frequently used to solve other problems. The General Manager and Manager of Marketing of the company are asked to give their judgment on the pairwise comparisons between each P of the 4Ps marketing mix, considering their impacts on sales. The result shows that Place has the highest important weight. Price is more important than Product, and Promotion is the least important. The study suggested the company to broaden its network, by adding more kiosks.

The Irrigation Water Utilization Improvement Program (P3-TGAI) is a program implemented by the Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai Brantas (BBWS) which aims to improve irrigation networks by building tertiary/small canals. Kediri, Trenggalek, Tulungagung, Blitar are one of the regional packages that received the program. In the implementation of P3-TGAI in the area, there were problems with the completion of the program. Monitoring and controlling program are needed to ensure the implementation timeliness. Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis is a method used to estimate the minimum duration of a project by connecting each activity and determine the duration of each activity. This method is carried out through the stages of collecting secondary and primary data to identify internal and external factors that affect the speed of the program. Project management analysis method is used to approach the monitoring and controlling program so that it is timely. The expected result from CPM analysis is to get an optimal program design schedule for the implementation of P3-TGAI.
