Sampling was carried out using a simple random sampling method to 100 young generation respondents (15-25 years) in Sudajaya Girang Village. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative, cross-tabulation, descriptive statistics, and Spearman's rank correlation. The young generation's perception of the suji craftsman profession is positive with a score of 2,76 out of 4 (good category). The interest of the younger generation in the development of the suji craftsman profession is positive with a score of 2,7 out of 4 (interesting category) because the suji craftsman profession is considered to have a lot of potential to be developed in the future. Abstract

The role of farmer groups in rural areas is crucial to support the community in sustaining agricultural activities. This research aims to determine the role of farmer groups in enhancing corn productivity. The research method employed is a survey of corn farmer group members in Karangreja Village, Cimanggu Sub-District, Cilacap Regency, using proportional random sampling technique. The Likert Scale is utilized to assess the role of farmer groups, based on three sub-variables: learning classes, cooperation facilities and production units. To determine corn productivity and the relationship between the role of farmer groups and corn productivity, the Concordance Rank Kendall W and Rank Spearman Correlation tests are employed. The research findings indicate that the role of farmer groups falls within the 'involved' category. Corn productivity demonstrates an increase after participation in the farmer group. There is a significant simultaneous relationship between the role of farmer groups and corn productivity. Additionally, partial correlations are identified between the role of farmer groups in terms of learning classes, cooperation facilities, production units, and corn productivity.

Abstract

Implementation of Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) in coffee farming as an effort to increase productivity. However, many farmers do not apply good cultivation techniques in their farming activities. research aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and actions of farmers in implementing GAP. The method used was a survey and sampling technique using non-probability sampling (saturated sampling) of 120 Arabica coffee farmers in Lembah Gumanti and Pantai Cermin Districts, Solok Regency. Data were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics from the results of frequency distribution tables and correlation analysis using Spearman Rank correlation test calculations. The analysis results show that farmers' knowledge of implementing GAP is high, and farmers' attitudes are quite good, while farmers' actions in implementing GAP are in the inappropriate category. Correlation analysis shows a significant relationship (significance 0.05) between knowledge, attitudes, and attitudes towards farmer actions (p= 0.00). There is no significant relationship between knowledge and action (p=0.974). In implementing GAP, farmers need to be given continuous counseling so that their attitudes and knowledge improve and farmers have high motivation to implement GAP.
