Abstract

Pasir puya merupakan istilah yang dikenal untuk pasir yang bersumber dari sisa pertambangan emas yang dilakukan khususnya oleh masyarakat lokal Kalimantan, telah diketahui memiliki kandungan mineral yang berharga seperti ZrSiO4, FeTiO3, dan TiO2 yang belum dimanfaatkan. Target penelitian ini adalah memanfaatkan pasir puya sebagai matriks fotokatalis TiO2 yang dapat  memperbaiki efisiensi katalitik TiO2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik serta aktivitas campuran pasir puya/TiO2 terhadap degradasi metilen biru dalam larutan berair. Campuran pasir puya/TiO2 disintesis melalui metode sol-gel kemudian dikarakterisasi menggunakan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), analisis sorpsi gas (BET) dan Scanning Electron Microscope-Energy Dispersive X-Ray (SEM-EDX). Konsentrasi metilen biru diukur menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Hasil analisis XRD mengkonfirmasi bahwa fase kristal TiO2 dalam campuran pasir puya/TiO2 yang telah disintesis adalah fase anatase pada 2θ 25,32o, 37,78o, 48,04o, 54o, 55,09o, dan 62,78o bersama dengan kristal zirkonium silikat pada 2θ 26,97o, 52,19o, dan 55,57o yang berasal dari pasir puya. Hasil analisa EDX menunjukkan bahwa campuran pasir puya/TiO2 mengandung unsur dominan O, Ti, dan Zr. Analisis gas sorpsi BET menunjukkan peningkatan luas permukaan pada campuran pasir puya/TiO2 lebih dari 10 kali lipat dibandingkan pasir puya. Kemampuan fotokatalitik optimum dalam mengurangi kadar metilen biru dalam larutan berair berdasarkan analisis statistik adalah campuran pasir puya/TiO2 5%, yang tidak berbeda signifikan dari campuran TiO2 dengan pasir puya 3% dan 1% namun berbeda dengan campuran dengan pasir puya 10%.

Abstract

This study examines the use of NaCl as an activator in the production of activated carbon from Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste to overcome environmental problems due to the accumulation of plastic waste that is difficult to decompose. This study aims to examine the effect of NaCl concentration on the iodine adsorption capacity of activated carbon. This type of research is experimental research. The samples used were 15 samples of activated carbon. Data collection methods through laboratory experiments. Data analysis was performed by simple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that variations in NaCl concentration had a significant effect on iodine adsorption capacity, with an R² value of 0.868 indicating 86.8% of variations in adsorption capacity could be explained by NaCl concentration. A concentration of 1M was considered optimal in balancing effectiveness, production cost, and environmental impact, although higher concentrations resulted in better adsorption capacity. This study concludes that the utilization of PET waste for activated carbon production provides a sustainable solution to plastic pollution, reduces waste while producing high-value products for industrial applications, and contributes to the development of more environmentally friendly and economical activated carbon production methods.

Abstract

Fabrikasi film tipis di atas substrat kaca yang homogen dengan sifat optik dan listrik yang unggul masih menjadi tantangan. Oleh sebab itu, pemilihan metode serta parameter fabrikasi menjadi hal yang penting untuk diteliti. Pada penelitian ini, film tipis ZnO doping Mg (ZnO:Mg) difabrikasi pada substrat kaca menggunakan metode Microwave Assisted Spray Pyrolysis dengan memvariasikan tekanan spray nitrogen, yaitu sebesar 1,4; 2,1; 2,8; 3,5; dan 4,2 kg/cm2. Film tipis yang telah difabrikasi kemudian diuji dengan UV-Vis dan IV-meter untuk menganalisis sifat optik dan listriknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tekanan spray memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap karakteristik optik dan listrik dari film tipis ZnO, Dengan peningkatan tekanan spray, film tipis yang dihasilkan cenderung memiliki ketebalan yang lebih seragam, yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan transparansi optik dan penurunan nilai resistivitas listrik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan. Dalam penelitian ini, sampel yang digunakan adalah film tipis ZnO (seng oksida yang didoping dengan magnesium). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami pengaruh variasi tekanan spray pada proses sintesis terhadap sifat optik dan listrik dari film tipis ZnO yang dihasilkan menggunakan metode Microwave Assisted Spray Pyrolysis (MASP). Implikasi penelitian ini adalah penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru tentang bagaimana parameter proses sintesis dapat diatur untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja material. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa dengan pengaturan tekanan spray yang tepat, film tipis ZnO.

Abstract

Tidak semua objek wisata telah dipersiapkan dengan apik dan memiliki daya tarik yang cukup. Ini menyebabkan kesulitan bagi wisatawan dalam memilih destinasi yang tepat, yang sering kali berujung pada kekecewaan dan kerugian. Agar masyarakat dapat memilih objek wisata yang tepat, diperlukan media yang dapat memberikan rekomendasi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, menganalisis efektivitas implementasi metode Promethee dalam memberikan rekomendasi destinasi objek wisata unggulan berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini berjumlah sebanyak 32 orang. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar kuesioner. Setelah data dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis data kuantitatif dengan metode promethee yang bertujuan untuk melakukan perangkingan destinasi wisata berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode Promethee berhasil menghasilkan perangkingan destinasi wisata yang akurat dan stabil berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Promethee merupakan alat yang efektif dan andal untuk memberikan rekomendasi destinasi objek wisata unggulan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi yang berharga dalam upaya meningkatkan pemasukan daerah melalui sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

The transition from online learning to limited face-to-face learning requires innovation in learning to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. This study aims to develop differentiated mathematics learning to improve student learning outcomes and determine the quality of differentiated mathematics learning. This study is a development study using the ADDIE model. The data analysis technique used in this study is for the analysis stage using diagnostic assessment, while at the implementation stage using product validity data analysis by calculating the average score, data analysis to measure product practicality by calculating the average score and data analysis to measure the effectiveness of learning. The results showed that tailored mathematics instruction significantly improved students' conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills compared to traditional instruction methods. Students who received tailored instruction tended to be more active participants in learning, had higher motivation, and showed significant improvements in final test results. This suggests that a tailored instruction approach can be an effective strategy in accommodating the diversity of student abilities, helping achieve more optimal learning outcomes. The implications of this study provide a basis for education policy to further support teacher training in the application of differentiation in instruction, especially in subjects considered difficult, such as mathematics.

Abstract

Peredaran uang palsu di Indonesia terus meningkat seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi dan masih minimnya keaslian uang dengan menggunakan komputer. Sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pendeteksi keaslian uang dengan menggunakan metode Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Eksperimen kuantitatif berbasis pada Hardware Programming. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk membangun algoritma metode CNN dan pengembangan Web adalah perangkat lunak Visual Studio Code dan bahasa pemrograman Phython. Metode CNN digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan uang asli dan palsu berdasarkan gambar. Eksperimen dilakukan dengan menggunakan dataset uang kertas yang mempunyai 2 kelas yaitu uang asli sebanyak 1.015 dan uang palsu sebanyak 1.126. Proses penentuan asli dan palsu dilakukan beberapa proses, yaitu: akuisisi data, seleksi data, prapemrosesan data, transformasi, dan pemodelan. Sebelum melakukan proses pembuatan model, data perlu diubah ukurannya menjadi 224x224 piksel untuk model GoogleNet, 256x256 untuk model AlexNet, dan 200x200 untuk model yang dimodifikasi. Model yang dimodifikasi dirancang untuk membandingkan hasil dari GoogleNet dan AlexNet, dengan mengurangi lapisan dan menyesuaikan parameter dengan data yang ada. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan hasil perhitungan nilai training loss, validation loss, akurasi pelatihan, dan akurasi validasi pada variasi nilai epoch, pixel,  dan learning rate untuk ketiga model. Hasil terbaik diperoleh dengan parameter yang digunakan pada tahap uji yaitu nilai epoch 50, pixel 244x244, dan learning rate 0.001, dengan pembagian jumlah data latih dan data uji yaitu 70% dan 30%. Berdasarkan parameter tersebut didapatkan hasil dari training loss sebesar 4%, validation loss sebesar 69,9%, training accuracy sebesar 97,8% dan validation accuracy sebesar 82,65%. Hasil tersebut merupakan hasil terbaik dari 3 arsitektur yang dibandingkan, dan dari berbagai jenis pengujian.

Abstract

The low accuracy of anemia diagnosis with the classical K-Medoids method shows the need for alternative, more effective techniques in processing medical record data. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the quantum computing approach as a solution to develop an anemia diagnostic method by integrating the K-Medoids algorithm and Manhattan distance calculation. This research is an experimental study with a comparative design. The research subjects comprised anemia patient medical record data covering 5 attributes and 1 target, with 20 samples taken from the Kaggle.com platform. Data collection was conducted using data mining techniques, while the instrument used was computational modeling software. The data was analyzed using the accuracy comparison method between the classical and quantum computing-based K-Medoids methods. The analysis results show that the quantum computing-based K-Medoids method can achieve 80% accuracy, which is equivalent to the classical K-Medoids method, but with higher data processing efficiency. This research confirms that integrating quantum computing in the K-Medoids method can be an alternative in diagnosing anemia, offering the potential for broader application to more complex medical record data. The implication of this research is the creation of opportunities for innovation in quantum computing-based medical decision support systems that are more efficient.

Abstract

Environmental pollution by heavy metals is a crucial environmental problem and is a challenge to achieving the ideals of sustainable development. Blood cockles include Benthos from the Bivalvia Class Mollusk Phylum which has a wide habitat distribution in Indonesia. Beaches are very vulnerable to the accumulation of household waste, both from land and from the sea. Meanwhile, it has become an important part of economic, industrial and transportation growth in Surabaya. The aim of this research is to determine the comparison of the amounts of the heavy metals Lead (Pb), Ferrum (Fe), and Zinc (Zn) in blood cockles in two locations with different environmental characteristics and to evaluate whether the heavy metal content is still within the standard food threshold limit. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a survey method. Data analysis used correlation tests and independent sample t-tests. The research results show that the values of Lead (Pb) and Zinc (Zn) are higher in Lamong Bay, respectively, namely 0.00448 ± 0.0004 and 0.002 ± 0.0002.  Meanwhile, the Ferrum (Fe) value is higher at Kenjeran Beach, namely 0.00284 ± 0.0006. The implications of this research can provide an overview of the level of heavy metal pollution in coastal ecosystems, which is important for monitoring the health of the aquatic environment. Heavy metals such as lead, iron and zinc have the potential to pose a threat to ecosystem balance and human health, especially if contaminated shellfish are consumed directly.

Abstract

High blood sugar levels in DM can inhibit wound healing and increase the risk of infection. Diabetic ulcer therapy with commercial anti-inflammatory drugs is relatively expensive and has side effects. VCO and diamond leaf extract have the potential as an alternative therapy with anti-inflammatory effects, but further research is needed regarding the right dose. This study aimed to analyze the impact of VCO administration with supplementation of diamond leaf extract (Azadirachta indica L.) on IL-6 levels in wound healing of type 2 DM model rats. This research is a true experimental research with a post-test-only control group design. This study used 25 male mice which were divided into five groups, namely: group P1 5% Intaran leaf extract, P2 10% Intaran leaf extract, P3 15% Intaran leaf extract, negative control (NaCl 0.9%), and positive control (Povidone Iodine). Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk statistical test, followed by the One-Way Anova test, the confirmation test, and the LSD test. The results showed a significant difference in IL-6 levels between the treatment groups, as evidenced by the One Way ANOVA statistical test results. Considerable value was obtained in the test of IL-6 levels on day 4 Sig. 0.003 and day 14 Sig. 0,046. It can be concluded that the treatment group giving VCO supplementation with intern leaf extract at a concentration of 10% affects wound healing with a decrease in IL-6 levels on day 14. This study provides an important contribution to DM wound healing efforts by using affordable natural ingredients with low potential side effects.

Abstract

More technological innovation in the tourism sector must be integrated with educational aspects and digital literacy, especially during a pandemic that limits physical visits to tourist attractions. Although several tourism applications have been developed, only a few have been specifically designed to improve digital literacy and visitor knowledge in terms of educational content and integration with the school curriculum. This research aims to create a virtual tour-based edu-tourism application that is packaged with virtual reality applications. This research is a research and development using the ADDIE model. The subjects of this research were randomly 250 teachers and high school / vocational school students. The data collection method was a questionnaire using an instrument in the form of an instrument sheet. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive data analysis methods. The results showed that the design of the virtual tour technology application received a very good assessment in the aspects of media, material, discussion, and display. This is also in line with the teacher's response, which assessed these aspects positively, with the highest score given to the media aspect, followed by the material, discussion, and display. This study concludes that the virtual tour-based eduwisata application packaged with virtual reality applications is effective in improving the literacy skills of teachers and students regarding eduwisata. The results of this study indicate that virtual tour applications can be implemented as interactive learning media that can improve student and teacher literacy in the field of edu-tourism.
