Abstract

Similarity calculation between business process models has an important role in managing repository of business process model. One of its uses is to facilitate the searching process of models in the repository. Business process similarity is closely related to semantic string similarity. Semantic string similarity is usually performed by utilizing a lexical database such as WordNet to find the semantic meaning of the word. The activity name of the business process uses terms that specifically related to the business field. However, most of the terms in business domain are not available in WordNet. This case would decrease the semantic analysis quality of business process model. Therefore, this study would try to improve semantic analysis of business process model. We present a new lexical database called B-BabelNet. B-BabelNet is a lexical database built by using the same method in BabelNet. We attempt to map the Wikipedia page to WordNet database but only focus on the word related to the domain of business. Also, to enrich the vocabulary in the business domain, we also use terms in the business-specific online dictionary (businessdictionary.com). We utilize this database to do word sense disambiguation process on business process model activity’s terms. The result from this study shows that the database can increase the accuracy of the word sense disambiguation process especially in particular terms related to the business and industrial domains.

Abstract

The length of the channel OFET based thin film is determined during preparation takes place using the technique of lithography and mask during the metal deposition process. The lithography technique is the basic process steps in the manufacture of semiconductor devices. Lithography is the process of moving geometric shapes mask pattern to a thin film of material that is sensitive to light. The pattern of geometric shapes on a mask has specifications, as follows: long-distance source and drain channels varied, i.e. 100 μm, the width of the source and drain are made permanent. Bottom contact OFET structure has been created using a combination of lithography and thin film deposition processes.

Abstract

Implementation of time-scheduled maintenance is not suitable if it is applied for systems with many varieties of heavy workload and harsh environment since on that condition components degrade earlier that those under normal condition. Therefore it has been shifted to condition-based maintenance (CBM). One important aspect, among others, toward implementation of CBM method is fault isolation. The problem investigated in this paper is related todecouple residual generation for actuator fault isolation of an aircraft on lateral movement. The proposed solution for that problem is to implement combination of transformation matrix and special filter. Transformation matrix is used to convert feature locations of actuator faults to signature vectors. Moreover, the signature vectors will be processed further by special filter to generate decoupled residuals. It is assumed that the actuator is the only fault when the aircraft is on lateral movement. The result showed that special filter and transformation matrix can be designed so that the residual of aileron actuator fault is decoupled from the residual of rudder actuator fault.

Abstract

Indonesian people have electronic citizen card called e-KTP. e-KTP is NFC based technology embedded inside Indonesian citizenship identity card. e-KTP technology has never been used until now since it was launch officially by the government. This research proposes an independent framework for bridging the gap between Indonesia regulation for e-KTP and commercial use in the many commercial or organization sector. The Framework proposes interoperability framework using novel combination component, there are e-KTP reader, Middleware and Web Service. KAFA (e-KTP Middleware and Framework) implementing Internet of Things (IoT) concept to make it as open standard and independent. The framework use federation mode or decentralized data for interoperability, to make sure not breaking the law of privacy. Extended development of AES-CBC cipher algorithm was used to encrypt the data on the transport between middleware and web service.

Abstract

Elsevier B.V. launched a scholarly metric called CiteScore (CS) on December 8, 2016. Up till then, the journal impact factor (JIF) owned by Clarivate Analytics (Thomson Reuters) was the only trusted metric for journal evaluation. As noted by Teixeira da Silva & Memon (2017), CS offers some observed advantages over JIF. The potentials of CiteScore as a viable metric are still emerging. The paper briefly introduces a variant of the CiteScore that can be used in quantifying the impact of researchers and their institutions. The ultimate aim is to reduce the numerical effect of self-citations (SC) in academic publishing. The reduction is designed to discourage SC but not diminishing it. The reasons for the adopted methodology are discussed extensively. The proposed modified CiteScore metric is simple, transparent and constructed to ensure integrity in academic publication. The result showed that the proposed modified CiteScore is a better option than the traditional CiteScore and hence, can be applied in impact determination, the ranking of authors and their institutions, and evaluation of scientists for a grant award. The approach used in this paper is entirely new in two ways; first, a metric similar to journal ranking is proposed for ranking authors and their institutions and secondly, disproportionate scores are awarded to different sources of citations to reduce perceived dishonesty in academic publications. In conclusion, this research is one of very few to report the effect of SC on CiteScore. Hitherto, the effect of SC has always been on the journal impact factor (IF).

Abstract

The intervention of computer technology began the era of a more intelligent and independent instrumentation system based on intelligent methods such as artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic, and genetic algorithm. On the other hand, processor with artificial cognitive ability has also been discovered in 2016. The architecture of the processor was designed based on knowledge growing system (KGS) algorithm, a new concept in artificial intelligence (AI) which is focused on the emulation of the process of the growing of knowledge in human brain after getting new information from human sensory organs. KGS is considered as the main method of a new perspective in AI called as cognitive artificial intelligence (CAI). The design is to obtain the architecture of the data path of the processor. We found that the complexity of the processor circuit is determined by the number of combinations of sensors and hypotheses as the main inputs to the processor. This paper addresses the development of an intelligence processor based on cognitive AI in order to realize an Intelligence Instrumentation System. The processor is implemented in field programmable gate array (FPGA) and able to perform human thinking emulation by using KGS algorithm.

Abstract

Digital forensic tools (DFTs) are used to detect the authenticity of digital images. Different DFTs have been developed to detect the forgery like (i) forensic focused operating system, (ii) computer forensics, (iii) memory forensics, (iv) mobile device forensics, and (v) software forensics tools (SFTs). These tools are dedicated to detect the forged images depending on the type of the applications. Based on our review, we found that in literature of the DFTs less attention is given to the evaluation and analysis of the forensic tools. Among various DFTs, we choose SFTs because it is concerned with the detection of the forged digital images. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to classify the different DFTs and evaluate the software forensic tools (SFTs) based on the different features which are present in the SFTs. In our work, we evaluate the following five SFTs, i.e.,“FotoForensics”, “JPEGsnoop”, “Ghiro”, “Forensically”, and “Izitru”, based on different features so that new research directions can be identified for the development of the SFTs.

Abstract

Electrics current can flow out to the ground by using a human body. This electric current will be dangerous to the human when it exceed 20mA. A very sensitive earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) is needed to anticipate the leaky current but most of ELCB can only be found in the market with sensitivitas 30mA or bigger. This research is succees to design an ELCB with sensitivity 20mA. Characteristic of an ELCB is very influenced by the current transformer characteristic and the relay which are used.

Abstract

Vision based robot soccer localization system, aiming to create a robot soccer localization system. The implementation of this idea is motivated by the need of the localization system for the robot soccer to play the ball effectively and efficiently. The expected result of this research is to develop the localization system for the robot soccer based on camera vision. Thus the developed robot will be able to play football better. It is because of the localization system that can make the robot able to behave more precisely on certain condition and location. For example, the robot should be able to find the ball in its own area or in the opponent’s. Research conducted on several major parts, consisting: image capture, processing image information and directions to the information about the location of the robot at the time. The experimental results indicate that the localization system in this research work has the ability to perform an approximation of the robot location with respect to the goal.
