Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan novel Api Awan Asap karya Korrie Layun Rampan ditinjau dari (1) protes sosial, (2)realisme sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya protes sosial yang ditujukan kepada masyarakat yang tidak mengetahui tradisi berhuma suku Dayak Benuaq;  perusahaan pertambangan, perusahaan perkebunan, HPH, dan HTI; perusahaan kelapa sawit, tebu, dan coklat; kepada “konglomerat”; perusahaan  penambangan emas dan batu bara. Bentuk realisme sosial menggambarkan masyarakat suku dayak Benuaq yang dituduh sebagai perusak alam; kerusakan lingkungan pada wilayah yang didiami oleh suku Dayak Benuaq; ketidaktahuan masyarakat mengenai hukum dan kepemilikan tanah; dan ketidaksiapan mental secara finansial masyarakat.

Abstract

This study expects a teacher has learning methods to better support classroom learning, thus resulting in a productive and active learning. Indonesian textbooks and academic self-expression SMA / MA / SMK / MAK class XII 2nd semester curriculum in 2013, the Ministry of education and culture through learning to write fiction in the novel. This study uses a method that is Pictur Picture and Picture and Picture Learning model is a learning method that uses images and paired or sorted into a logical sequence. Learning is characterized Active, Innovative, Creative, and Fun. Learning Model relies images as a medium of learning. These images become a major factor in the learning process. In pulling teaching of writing fiction in the novel, the author tried to examine the learning method and Pictur Picture.

Abstract

This paper will map out the professional competencies that Indonesian Language and Literature teachers must possess. The professional competence is mapped based on Permendiknas Attachment no. 16 of 2007 on the standard of Academic Qualification and Teacher Competence that is mastering material, structure, concepts, and intellectual mindset related subjects that taught. The competencies are spelled out in the following points: to understand the concepts, theories, and the linguistic material. Linguistic understandings related to the development of language learning materials, understanding the nature of language and language acquisition, understanding the position, function, and variety of Indonesian language, mastering the basics of Indonesian language as a reference to the use of Indonesian language is good and true, have the skills to speak Indonesian (listening, speaking , reading and writing). Meanwhile, literary understanding is related to understanding the theory and genre of Indonesian literature and able to appreciate the Indonesian literature receptively and productively.  Various competencies are expected to produce a professional teacher of Indonesian Language and Literature that makes learning Indonesian Language and Literature to be ideal.

Abstract

This research and development has purpose to describe the findings of the guidance of material book product development of literature appreciation learning based on reception theory for Senior High School teachers; to describe the validity of the book by expert judgments; and to describe the reliability by teachers based on content, service, language, and graphic aspects. The research uses Borg and Gall model through the modified stages: preliminary, product development planning, product development, expert validity test, product revising, and product trial run. The validity results from content experts shows the content reliability gaining score 4.17, categorized very well; service reliability gaining score 4.38, categorized very well; and language reliability gaining score 4.25, categorized very well. The product validity from graphic expert gains score of 4.14, categorized very well. The product reliability gained from 25 Indonesian language teachers shows the content, gaining 4.32, categorized very well; service reliability gaining score 4.38, categorized very well; language reliability gaining score 4.37, categorized very well; and graphic reliability gaining score 4.41, categorized very well. The development was the useful form of innovation to maximize the learning process in schools.

Abstract

The research aimed at describing Brown and Levinson;s language politeness strategies in dialogoues discourse on television. It focused on (1) the used of positive language politeness strategies and (2) the used of negative language politeness strategies in dialogoues discourse on television. This research was approached qualitatively using etnoghrapy of communication design. The data concisted of two kinds, they were the utterances data and field notes. They were recorded from the interactive dialogs on three television stations, i.e. tvOne, MetroTv, and TVRI. The collected data were analyzed using interactive models Miles and Huberman. Based on the data analysis, some findings were made as follows: In the dialoguous discourse on television, the positive politeness strategies used by the interactants covered (1) the uses of emphaty and symphaty, (2) the uses of group identity markers, (3) the uses of asking for agreement, (4) the uses of repetition of utterances, (5) the uses of humor, (6) the uses of being optimistic, (7) the uses of offers and promises, (8) involving the hearer and the speaker in the activities, (9) seeking for reasons or giving questions, and (10) extending presents. Related to the uses of negative politeness strategies used by the interactants covered (1) the uses of indirect utterances , (2) asking for apologies, (3) the uses of impersonal form, (4) the uses of general rules of interaction, and (5) the uses of respect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi melalui percakapan telepon Sekolah Dasar kelas 3 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe inside-outside circle.Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang membosankan. Dalam pembelajaran siswa hanya mendengarkan penjelasan guru kemudian mengerjakan soal sehingga hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia khusunya pada keterampilan berbicara tergolong masih rendah. Permasalahan pembelajaran tersebut memerlukan solusi supaya pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik dan mendapatkan hasil belajar yang memuaskan. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diterapkan yaitu pembelajaran menggunakan model kooperatif tipe inside-outside circle. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Clasroom action research).Prosedur penelitian kelas dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan yang digambarkan dalam dua siklus dan tiap siklus terdiri dari beberapa langkah kegiatan yang harus dilakukan antara lain: (1) perencanaan; (2) pelaksanaan tindakan; (3) pengamatan; dan (4) refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara dan tes. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa setelah dilaksanakan penelitian dengan 2 siklus, terjadi peningkatan keterampilan berkomunikasi melalui percakapan telepon. Hal ini dibuktikan dari adanya peningkatan prosentase ketuntasan hasil belajar dan rata-rata kelas pada setiap siklusnya. Terjadinya peningkatan keterampilan berkomunikasi dikarenakan diterapkan model pembelajaran kooepratif tipe inside-outside circle pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi percakapan telepon.

Abstract

Salah satu sarana untuk mempermudah pemahaman terhadap wacana adalah hubungan koherensi dan kohesi antarkalimat atau antarparagraf. Hubungan kohesi dan koherensi dibangun melalui aspek mikrostruktural dan makrostruktural. Oleh karena itu, untuk memahami wacana sastra novel Para Priyayi karya Umar Kayam secara utuh dan menyeluruh perlu dilakukan analisis mikrostruktural dan makrostruktural. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Para Priyayi karya Umar Kayam, sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah kalimat-kalimat yang mengandung kohesi leksikal, kohesi gramatikal, konteks, dan inferensi. Metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan metode observasi dan batat, sedangkan metode analisis data menggunakan metode kontekstual dan deskriptif.Aspek gramatikal sebagai pendukung aspek mikrostruktural yang digunakan meliputi referensi, substitusi, elipsis, dan konjungsi, sedangkan aspek leksikal yang mendukung meliputi repetisi, antonimi, sinonimi, hiponimi, dan kolokasi. Aspek leksikal yang berbentuk ekuivalensi tidak ditemukan. Pendukung aspek makrostruktural yang digunakan dalam novel Para Priyayi meliputi konteks dan inferensi. Melalui pemahaman konteks situasi dapat diketahui bahwa novel ini menceritakan kehidupan para priyayi Jawa pada masa penjajahan Belanda, penjajahan Jepang, dan pada waktu terjadinya peristiwa Gestapu. Melalui konteks budaya dapat diketahui bahwa novel ini menceritakan kehidupan priyayi Jawa dan dalam penulisannya dipengaruhi budaya Jawa sehingga memberikan kekhasan atas novel Para Priyayi ini. Melalui konteks pemakaian bahasa dapat dipahami inferensinya; 1) seorang priyayi harus memihak masyarakat kecil, 2) semua orang mempunyai hak menjadi seorang priyayi (priyayi bukan monopoli orang darah biru), 3)Sudarsono dan Lantip merupakan satu contoh orang di luar darah biru dapat menjadi seorang priyayi.

Abstract

Creative educators are educators who are able to utilize the media around as a means of learning. One of the television shows that can be utilized as a complex text learning media is a show of Laptop Si Unyil. The impression is about the process of making something or the use of the tool described in a coherent manner. Based on the results of experiments on students PBSI, FKIP, UAD, this show is able to provide better learning outcomes to the group taught by using media Si Unyil Laptop. It can be proved by t-test among groups. Based on posttest data of experimental group and control group obtained t count equal to -2,575 with indigo df equal to 43 and value p = 0,012 at significance level 0,05 (5%). The p value <from the significance level is 0.05 (0.012 <0.05). Impressions Siy Unyil laptop is able to provide effectiveness in learning the text of complex procedures on students PBSI, FKIP, UAD who are following the lecture of Indonesian Language. This is evidenced from the calculation of t-test data pretest and posttest in the experimental group obtained the result that the value of t arithmetic -3.924 denagan value df 42 and significance 0.000. Result of t-test of pretest and posttest data in experiment group obtained p value smaller than significance level 0,05 (0,000 <0,05).

Abstract

This study aims to explain the differences in the results of learning to write explanatory text, namely: (1) between students taught using learning discovery learning model with students taught using conventional learning model, (2) interaction between learning model of explanatory writing skill. This type of research is quasi experiment and the design used is 2x2 factorial. Sampling is done by purposive sampling. Analysis and discussion of data is done descriptively. The result of data analysis can be concluded. First, writing explanatory texts that are taught using discovery learning learning model is better than students taught by conventional learning model. Second, there is no interaction between the learning model in influencing the ability to write explanatory text of students. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning model discovery learning can influence the skills of writing text eksplanasi MTsN students Durian Tarung Padang.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to describe the development of Rengkong art application and its utilization in the learning of literature based on local wisdom.  The research employed research and development method. This method was used to produce products and test the effectiveness of these products. Development of mobile-based learning media applications created using Android Studio software.  After the application creation process was complete, afterward the testing process and publishing to .apk format were carried out to make it available in the application market, namely the Google Play Store and could be operated on Android-based smartphones. Based on the results of the validation and implementation of the Rengkong application in learning, the following results were obtained: 1) The validation results of Rengkong application development in local wisdom-based literature learning fell into the category of sufficient to be used as learning material.  2) The results of the questionnaire of writing poetry learning towards the students of SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur with 33 respondents, obtained a percentage of 74%. It means that the use of Rengkong application in literature learning based on local wisdom could be used in learning because it was included in the sufficient category.  3) The values of character education in students' poems consist of: five values of appreciating achievement, two values of the love of the motherland, fourteen religious values, six values of honesty, three. values of hard work, six values of responsibility, four values of tolerance, and seven values of creativity
