Abstract

The presence of Independent Accreditation Institutions requires study programs to adapt the accreditation process. Each Independent Accreditation Institution has different accreditation instruments. Previously, many information systems have been developed to facilitate the management of study program accreditation documents. With the existence of Independent Accreditation Institutions, it is necessary to develop a system that was previously using accreditation instruments from BAN-PT, which must now be adapted to the accreditation instruments of the Independent Accreditation Institutions. Therefore, a system was designed that can modify or add accreditation instruments to the system by users without the need for hard coding. The method used in the development of the information system uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). SDLC consists of initial investigation, system analysis, system design, system development, system implementation, and system maintenance. From the results of system testing, the system has been able to meet the needs in accreditation management with standard criteria that can be adapted to user needs.

Abstract

In the field of educational management, the performance of teachers is a critical determinant of the overall quality of education. Recognizing this, recent research has increasingly focused on identifying factors that influence teacher performance. Among these, principal supervision and teaching planning are considered vital elements. This study aims to determine the influence of the importance of principal supervision and teaching planning on teacher performance, both partially and simultaneously. The research approach uses a quantitative approach, namely associative (correlational) research with a sample of 20 respondents from 20 teachers at Junior High School in 5 Ledo as a population. Data processing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive influence of principal supervision and teaching planning both partially and simultaneously as evidenced by the results of t count of 1.870 there was an influence of other variables of 0.071. In conclusion, the higher and better the principal's supervision and teaching planning provided, the higher the performance of teachers shown at Junior High School in 5 Ledo. The novelty of this research lies in its specific focus on the simultaneous impact of principal supervision and teaching planning on teacher performance within an Indonesian Junior High Schoolcontext. While previous studies have examined these factors individually, this research innovatively assesses their combined effect, providing a more holistic understanding of the dynamics influencing teacher performance.

Abstract

Recognizing the paramount importance of fostering effective language learning outcomes among primary school students, this action research aims to enhance the Indonesian language learning outcomes for class II students at SDN Wancimekar I, Kotabaru District, Karawang Regency. This research aims to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes for class II students at SDN Wancimekar I, Kotabaru District, Karawang Regency. This action research was carried out at SDN Wancimekar I, Kotabaru District, Karawang Regency with a research population of 420 students and a sample of 40 class II students. The research was carried out in the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year starting from July to August 2023. The research method used was Action Research with the implementation of action research consisting of 4 (four) basic stages that are interrelated and continuous, namely (1) planning ( planning), (2) implementation (acting), (3) observation (observing), and (4) reflection (reflecting). From the evaluation test results, it can be seen that there is an increase in students' understanding of the subject matter as shown by student learning results from pre-cycle to cycle II. In the Pre-Cycle, the average student score was only 62 with classical completeness of 25%. In Cycle I, the average student score was 64 with classical completeness of 27%. In cycle II, the average student score was 75.85 with classical completion reaching 75%. This research contributes novelty by not only focusing on the outcomes but also by emphasizing the systematic and iterative nature of the action research process. The structured approach, encompassing planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, provides a replicable model for educators and stakeholders aiming to enhance language learning outcomes in primary education settings

Abstract

Realizing the importance of learning, SKBN Surabaya tries to design a learning process that can meet the learning needs of students, especially the SKBN Surabaya Package C equivalency program, which consists of various ages. One learning model that provides opportunities for students to have the experience of discovering a concept and increasing their understanding and requires students to be more active in learning is the PBL (Problem-Based Learning) model. This study aimed to describe implementing the problem-based learning (PBL) model in learning biology in the package C equivalency program at SKBN Surabaya. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected by interviewing biology tutors and randomly selected students and observing during the learning process. The subjects used were all package C class X students, totaling 11 students. The data analysis model used included data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed that students were actively involved using the problem-based learning model during the learning process. In its application, the tutor has followed the five phases in the problem-based learning model: orienting students to the problem, organizing students, guiding individual and group investigations, developing and presenting results, and analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process.
