Abstract

The development of e-learning is necessary to support a conventional learningprocess and prepare media to create learning environment that is flexible and easy toaccess. It is expected that e-learning system can increase the frequency of learningprocess, enrich learning materials, and increase student participation in learning. Theobjective of this research is to find out the implementation of MOODLE - basedonline learning system at the Faculty of Curriculum and Educational Technology(Kurikulum dan Teknologi Pendidikan) at Semarang State University. The type ofresearch applied is Research and Development (Penelitian dan pengembangan). Theresults of the research shows that MOODLE - based E-learning wesbsite can beconsidered good. It can be seen from several aspects such as the look and content ofthe website, its implementation, institutional readiness, and facilities andinfrastructure. MOODLE - based E-learning website is recommended to achieve amodel of E-learning in a lecture, initiated by the provision of the media (online ElearningWebsite), and followed by socialization and training of applications.Kata Kunci: pembelajaran online, moodle

Abstract

This research is aimed at revealing the success of the Teaching Practice Program ofstudents of Accounting of Economics Faculty of Unnes in senior high schools andvocational high school in Semarang. The samples, 49 students out of 97, wereselected through a simple random sampling. The data were collected with aquestionairre and documentation. The data were analyzed using the percentagedescriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The result of the study showedthat most of accounting students were successful in doing the Teaching PracticeProgram with high criteria. The success of the program was influenced by the role ofthe mentor, the role of the advising lecturer, the quality of the orientation program, therole of peers, and the achievement on the educational subjects.Kata Kunci :keberhasilan PPL, guru pamong, dosen pembimbing, orientasi PPL,rekan sejawat dan hasil belajar kependidikan

Abstract

One of classic education‘s problem in Indonesia is the teacher distribution is notspread evenly. This problem that happened mainly at isolated area, had emphasizedteacher to teach more than one lesson, moreover to teach more than one class. Thiskind of teaching called multi grade teaching (MGT) or it was known as multi classteaching in Indonesia. The characteristic of this teaching identified when teacherteached two or more different class grade in the same room, also in the same time.MGT can be applied for the several reasons, such as geography position is difficult tobe reached, limition of class room, lack of teacher, small number of student, the absentof teacher, or maybe because of the safety factor and emergency situation that happenlike on evacuation area that impacted by disaster. The development of this modelneeds to be handled careful, starts from curriculum development and also materialdevelopment, therefore advice, examine and deep perfection by education expert stillneed to be done continuously.Kata kunci: multigrade teaching, pendistribusian, guru, tidak merata.

Abstract

The research is aimed at understanding the school management, teaching andlearning processes, community involvement, students activity outside the teachingand learning processes. The focus of the study is to understand the implementationprocess of of the school-based management at State Elementary School 2 ofKarangsari including the school management, teaching and learning processes,community involvement, students' activity outside class and the implementation ofthe pilot project of school-based management. The research adopted a qualitativeapproach through a case study of the implementation of the pilot project of schoolbasedmanagement at State Elementary School 2 of Karangsari, SubdistrictPejawaran, Banjarnegara. The study showed that a) State Elementary School 2 ofKarangsari had implemented school management based on equality, transparency,awareness, accountability, participation, vision, and simplicity; b) the teaching andlearning process at State Elementary School 2 of Karangsari had adopted active,creative, and joyful learning; c) Karangsari villagers showed a serious attention to theschool development as seen from their true participation in making decision in variousaspects, d) outside the class, students study religion, playing musical instrumentskentongan/thek-thek, and broadcasting atSUPELFM.Kata kunci: manajemen barbasis sekolah, peranserta masyarakat, dan PAKEM

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran siswa   dalam pembelajaran konsep tumbuhan biji. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan pembelajaran IPA dengan penerapan pola Pemberdayaan Berfikir Melalui Pertanyaan (PBMP). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat kegiatan. (1) Planning. (2) Acting. (3) Observingang. (4) Reflekting. Subyek penelitian adalah kemampuan pemikiran siswa kelas I F SMA Negeri 2 Rembang yang berjumlah 44 siswa. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif. Jumlah siswa yang menjawab pertanyaan, data awal 13,6%; siklus I 40,9%; siklus II 56,8%; siklus III 61,4%. Jumlah siswa yang mengajukan pertanyaan, data awal 7%; siklus I 11,4%; siklus II 18,2%; siklus III 27,3%. Jadi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan penalaran siswa. Kegiatan mendengarkan guru, siklus I 10%; siklus II 5%; siklus III 3%. Jadi kinerja siswa juga kian meningkat dengan alokasi waktu yang semakin efektif. Dengan demikian pola PBMP mampu meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran siswa kelas I F SMA Negeri 2 Rembang  pada pembelajaran konsep tumbuhan biji The study’s purpose to improve the ability of reasoning in learning the concept of seed plants. To achieve these objectives is done by the application of a science learning Empowerment Through Thinking Questions (PBMP). This research is a class act. This study was conducted in 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of four activities. (1) Planning. (2) Acting. (3) Observing. (4) Reflekting.  Subject of study is a student I F class of SMA Negeri 2 Rembang consisting of 44 students. Date analysis method used is descriptive analysis method. Number of students who answered the question, 13.6% baseline; 40.9% first cycle; Cycle II 56.8%, 61.4% third cycle. Number of students who asked the question, the initial data of 7%; 11.4% first cycle; Cycle II 18.2%, 27.3% third cycle. So show an increase in students' reasoning abilities. Activities of listening to the teacher, the first cycle of 10%, the second cycle 5%, 3% cycle III. So the performance of the students is also increasing with more effective allocation of time. Thus PBMP patterns can improve the ability of reasoning a student I F Class of SMA Negeri  2 Rembang  in learning the concept of seed plants.

Abstract

Studi ini berfokus pada kompetensi komunikatif mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa Inggris, khususnya dalam menggunakan tindak tutur dan strategi komunikasi. Obyek penelitian ini adalah 20 buah transkrip percakapan internet mahasiswa program studi Sastra Inggris semester 2 tahun akademik 2008-2009 yang mengambil mata kuliah Speaking for Interactional and Interpersonal Purposes. Kompetensi penggunaan tindak tutur mahasiswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori Halliday (1997), sedangkan strategi komunikasi mahasiswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori Thornburry (2005). Berdasarkan analisis data, tindak tutur yang paling sering dipergunakan adalah question dan answer. Adapun komunikasi strategi yang paling banyak dipergunakan mahasiswa adalah language switch, paraphrase, guessing, repetition, and foreignizing a word. Berdasarkan analisis kedua kompetensi tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa sudah mempunyai kompetensi komunikatif yang memadai.   This study focuses on the communicative competence of English Department students, especially their competence in using speech acts and communication strategies. The object of the study is the internet chatting transcript, as an outside-class assignment, of 20 students of Speaking for Interactional and Interpersonal Purposes class, English Literature study program,  semester 2 2008-2009 academic year. The data were analyzed by using the Halliday theory (1997) for the speech acts, and the Thornburry theory (2005) for the communication strategies. Based on the data analysis, it was found out that the most frequency used of speech acts are Question and Answer. The communication strategies mostly used in the data are Language Switch, Paraphrase, Guessing, Repetition, and Foreignizing a Word. Basically, based on both competence, the students have good communicative competence to make any interaction in real situation, e.g. in the internet.

Abstract

The research on the applicability of game-based Contextual Teaching andLearning (CTL) model on a simple instument problem aims to find out the increase ofthe interest and and achievement of learning science, the response of students andteachers to the application of the models. Classroom action research was conducted inthree cycles. The data of the improvement of interest in learning science and thestudents' and teachers' responses were obtained through a questionnaire. Thecognitive result of the study was obtained through an achievement test. The affectiveand psychomotor results of the study were obtained through an observation. Abstract

Matematika Ekonomi merupakan salah satu mata kuliah yang ada diperguruan tinggi. Melalui mata kuliah matematika ekonomi diharapkan mahasiswa memiliki kompetensi untuk menganalisis permasalahan ekonomi. Namun, fakta dilapangan mengungkapkan sebaliknya. Sebagian besar mahasiswa masih memiliki hasil belajar matematika ekonomi dibawah rata-rata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen belajar dan lingkungan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika ekonomi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Indraprasta PGRI Jakarta dengan melibatkan 167 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh komitmen belajar dan lingkungan kampus terhadap hasil belajar matematika ekonomi. Economic Mathematics is one of the courses in higher education. Through mathematics economics courses, students are expected to have the competence to analyze economic problems. However, the facts on the ground reveal the opposite. Most students still have under-average mathematics learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of learning commitment and learning environment on learning outcomes in economic mathematics. This research was conducted at Indraprasta University, PGRI Jakarta, involving 167 students. The results showed that there was no effect of learning commitment and the campus environment on learning outcomes in economic mathematics.

Abstract

Kompetensi bahasa adalah model yang mempersiapkan siswa untuk berkomunikasi dengan bahasa fungsional. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah metode pembelajaran, penyelenggara pendidikan dan kemampuan pengalihan siswa. Dari permasalahan tersebut maka kompetensi bahasa Inggris tujuan dapat dicapai tetapi belum optimal. Game pendidikan sebagai bentuk media pembelajaran memiliki konten yang secara tidak langsung dapat mengambil pemain ke dalam proses komunikasi. Desain game pendidikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan wacana kompetensi menampilkan representasi dari kondisi sosial di dunia nyata dan kemudian diadaptasi dalam bentuk virtual. Dengan menggunakan input suara sebagai pengendali utama, pemain diharapkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi mereka, termasuk mendengar, berbicara, dan membaca dalam konteks sosio-kultural seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam permainan. Language competence is a model that prepares students to communicate with the functional language. The problems that arise are the methods of learning, education providers and the ability diversion of the students. From these problems then the objective English language competence can be achieved but not yet optimal. Educational games as a form of learning media have a content that may indirectly take the players into a communication process. The design of educational games using discourse competence approach displays representations of social conditions in the real world and then adapted in virtual form. By using sound input as main controllers, players are expected to improve their communication skills, include listening, speaking, and reading in the socio-cultural context as shown in the game.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran biologi di SMA 1 Kandangserang, mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific skill berbasis masalah lingkungan pada limbah produksi tempe-tahu, dan mengevaluasi validitas, efektivitas, serta kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan menganalisis kebutuhan kemudian mengembangkan produk dan diuji validitas, efektivitas, dan kepraktisanya hingga diperoleh produk final. Produk yang dikembangkan adalah perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific skill teknologi fermentasi berbasis masalah lingkungan pada limbah produksi tempe-tahu, yaitu meliputi silabus, RPP, bahan ajar, lembar diskusi peserta didik (LDPD), dan lembar penilaian scientific skill. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran sangat valid, efektif, dan praktis diterapkan. Guru hendaknya menerapkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific skill teknologi fermentasi berbasis masalah lingkungan pada limbah produksi tempe-tahu. The research aims to describe biology learning process in SMA 1 Kandangserang detaily, expand learning process with scientific skill approach problem based learning, and evaluate the validity, effectivity, and practical the learning equipment. The method in this research is Research and Development, by analyzing the need and then developing a product and find the validity, effectivity, practically until gets the final product. The product that been developed is learning equipment with scientific skill technology of fermentation that principle with surrounding problems, consist of the syllabi, lesson plan, teaching materials, student discussion papers, and scientific skill’s evaluation  paper. The learning equipment is valid, efective and has been used. Learning equipment using scientific skill inenvironment problem based should be applied in making of tempe-tahu by the teacher.
