Abstract

In primary school especially for the first grade, second and third the type webbed integrated learning are very appropriate to be applied. Because  for the students in that level still examine all the things in a holistics. The separated learning will cause the students undeveloped their holistic thinking. But it is possible to apply this model for the forth, fifth, and sixth grade because school teachers mean class teachers. the type webbed integrated learning, the teaching process will be more meaningful because students are not only master the lesson’s concepts but also reveal their ideas, critical thinking, creative, solve a problem even take a decision. That’s why through this the type webbed integrated learning, in the teaching process is expected that the students can get some experiences, as in cognitive aspect, affective also psychomotor. So, the teaching will be more meaningful

Abstract

The learning process is a complicated process because it doesn’t simply absorb information, but involves a variety of activities and actions to take, especially if the desired outcome of good learning (Abin Syamsudin, 1998). This research is the development of the survey approach, demonstration, questionnaires, and performance test with the aim of an effort to improve knowledge and skills students handicraft education S-1 PGSD Unesa FIP. The results of the test craft ability in percentage increased significantly by 4.70%. As for the performance test results of  in general there are significant differences, prior to and after guidance. From the analysis it can be concluded that, (1) with the training activities can motivate students to improve their knowledge and ability in the education of crafts, (2) to increase students knowledge and skills required the textbook that is easily understood and practical for students in studying at university, (3) a prototype of research results can be used as a handbook for students PGSD Unesa FIP.

Abstract

In 2005 Manokwari Regency has 8,892 citizens aged 5-15 years old who have no access to education. One of the factors that influenced this figure is the low of the studying interest of children for going to school and the parents’ paradigm which assume that education is not an investment for the future. The motivation of Elementary students was influenced by externals factors, such as, education system, education budgeting; and internals factors such as, home studying facilities. The research method used in this article is descriptive method. The result of this research shows that the frequency of studying in the city area is higher than in rural area. The same condition is happen at the students’ attendance factor in class and in the supporting facilities at home. In addition, the independency for home studying is significantly depending on homework that given by schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to determine whether the use of creative cards can enhance science learning outcomes of students in class VIII SIDOTOPO SDN IVA / 55 Surabaya. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle there are several stages, namely planning, action, execution, observation and reflection. In the planning phase, researchers conducted a preparation of learning. In action phase, researchers conducted a teach by using creative media cards. In the observation phase, the researcher with the observer observations on learning took place then analyze the findings in the learning. For the reflection phase, researchers look for weaknesses that occur in learning and then becomes the reference for the second cycle. When the learning process took place both in cycle I and cycle II shows that students are very interested. This is indicated by the responses of students who expressed very pleased to learning. Also the activities of students who demonstrate a positive attitude as the students are very enthusiastic in participating in learning. While in student achievement for the cycle I got the average 77.97 but students completeness are only 68, 57% of the number of students. This condition has not met the standards then it will be continue with the second cycle. In this second cycle the average student gets 85.25 and completeness is 94.29%. So in this second cycle researchers have found that the research meets the standards set by the researcher

Abstract

It has been developed instructional media by using the PowerPoint program on Konsep Dasar IPA  2. Development media is done by model 4-D (Four D Models) this is; define, design, development, and disseminate. This research was only carried out until the stage of development.  The study is targeted media a PowerPoint program on  light subpokok limited to 2 class E and H. The instrument used is a sheet of student questionnaire responses, and test results of student learning. Techniques of collecting data from this study is a student questionnaire and test results of student learning. From the percentage of responses will be obtained answers to the response criteria that will determine the feasibility of the media. Media is feasible if the percentage reaches ≥ 61%. Results of analysis of research data on the quality of the media display the percentage of answers obtained an average of 73.6%. Result analysis of the suitability of the media obtained an average percentage of responses of 89.6%. Results of student a learning obtained fairly good percentage with average 80%. Therefore, it can be concluded that media a PowerPoint learning fit for use as a medium of learning and can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

Classroom based assessment is an assessment intergerated with learning and teaching in the classroom. One of assessment based on classroom is by gathering student works or called portfolio. The ability of portfolio assessment is as communication media refleceting student capability during learning process. Portfolio assessment is able to reveal learning development, not only measured by paper test  but showed from evidences in the portfolio. Beside teacher, parents can also see the devolement of their children through evidences.In art, portfolio is used as assessment in learing process specially in studio classes in Art College.

Abstract

Based on the observations of researchers to the process of teaching and learning  English in Primary School Teacher Education Programs, Faculty of Education, Unesa ,actually learning that used multimedia-based instructional such as Snakes and Ladders Digital still rare. Until now book text (print media) is still dominating the media used to teach at Primary School Teacher Education. That is why it is necessary to develop the Digital Media Learning Snakes and Ladders as a variety of media learning and improve student mastery of English language ability, particularly in terms of vocabulary.
