Abstract

The research purpose this  study were: to discribe teacher abilities of making instructional planning, actuating, evaluing, the instructions, developing  personal relationship, and to show various factor influencing their abilities in the instructional social science in the SD Lakarsantri 1 and 2 Surabaya city.Using deep interview, documentary and IPKG.Data analisys in the  field and after data collection. The result showed their abilities of planning instructions was “enough’  actuating it was also “enough’ and developing relationship was’good’. Profesionalism and creativities influenced their abilities in the instruction

Abstract

Education  of  Social Studies  is  one  subject which shall be program the students of S1 PGSD Unesa FIP. As one of the subject areas of study, Education of social studies  aims to further students understanding and skills in applying learning strategies social studies in Primary Schools. This  development   objective  is  to  develop  courses   Textbook  Education  of  Social Studies at  the Department  of S1 PGSD Unesa FIP and learning tools in the   form outlined by Course Plan (GBRP) following Lectures Events Unit (SAP)  for one semester.    Development  of the textbook   is   specified  with include:  describing  the  feasibility  of   the substantive, level of difficulty, the level of legibility, and effectiveness of the IPS Education Textbook Advanced Class  at the Departmentof S1 PGSD FIP Unesa.  Shape   product   development   Textbook   Education  of  Social Studies course consists of lectures and educational material outlined plans Lectures, Lectures  and  Events Unit. This research includes development research with model 4D (four-D) which according to Thiagarajan (1974) more detailed and systematic.   The research was conducted on students S1 PGSD FIP Unesa, Force 2008. Collecting data using instruments questionnaires, observation sheets and test results of learning. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Deskripstif analysis is used to present data from user questionnaire results textbook, study and documentation of test results collected student work portfolios of learning social studies education. The result of  the  development    Textbook Education  of  Social Studies showed quite effective  role  in improving the quality of lectures on elementary social studies education courses  Advanced Class.   Similarly,   student   responses  to learning device Textbook quite positive.  While  the  response lecturers subjects developed textbook assume  could  be  one of   reference for elementary social studies education courses Advanced Class. About the constraints   faced  in understanding the  Education  of  Social Studies Elementary Textbook Advanced Class, students  generally  expressed  no  problems were significant. As a suggestion which could be put forward in the development of this learning tool, students who take courses Education  of  Social Studies Information should read this textbook as a reference.

Abstract

The purpose in this research is to describing teachers activities in the learning implementation with inquiry learning model on science at fourth class. Describing the process skill, knowing the result of students learning process by the inquiry learning model, and describe student responsibility with inquiry implementation. This research is actually using classroom action research. The researches have been hold in two cycles, each cycles consisted of twice meeting, and through four steps are planning, observation, action and reflection. The subject of this research is student of 4th grade which has 26 students. The research will be held at SDN Rejeni Krembung Sidoarjo Data in this research was found by observation, questions and examination. The research uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. By the inquiry learning model was known in first cycle 72% for teacher’s activity later 86% in second cycle. The student’s process skill equals 71% first and 82% in second cycle. Student activity equals 73% in first and 84% in second, the result of student examination in first cycle known 73% and 85% for second, and the interesting student in inquiry implementation equals 89%. All of the result has been taken equals 80% in succeeded and research result also showed increased each steps. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that by using inquiry learning model increase student’s science process skill at fourth class in SDN Rejeni Krembung Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) improve the quality of the learning process for faculty and students in a subject PGSD Studies Curriculum Development, through the implementation of the learning design of multicultural and social empathy. (2) Improve student achievement in a subject PGSD Studies Curriculum Development through the implementation multicultural learning design and social empathy. The problem: Does the application of the learning design of multicultural and social empathy can improve the quality of the learning process at the Curriculum Development Review courses for lecturers and students PGSD FKIP Unib? (2). Does the implementation of multicultural learning design and social empathy can improve learning achievement on the Curriculum Development Review courses for students PGSD FKIP Unib. To achieve this goal used method of classroom action research in collaboration with faculty as a researcher, designed by model cycles and analyzed through descriptive, qualitative. The subject involved two lectures in Curriculum Development Studies and 40 students of third semester PGSD FKIP Unib. Results showed the application of learning design multicultural and social empathy can improve the quality of the learning process of student group discussions of productivity in terms of frequency of involvement of members of the group in discussion, effectiveness and quality of communication of ideas / questions, make effective contributions of members in group discussions and the results of the group with good quality, which ultimately affect the increasing learning results in learning Study Curriculum Development.

Abstract

The reading comprehension skill of the students of SD 03 Demaan Kudus was quite insufficient before the classroom action research is conducted. There are factors for this insufficiency: the traditional model of learning that is less effective and tends to make the students boring; most students are less motivated in learning and less interested in reading subject; the technique that uses direct evaluation during the process of learning, in which students are directly assigned to read which make such process boring and less interesting for the students; most students are passive during the learning process; and the achievement for the reading comprehension subject is not satisfying. Based on this condition, the action research is conducted. The cooperative learning model, CIRC model is applied in the first cycle and it shows that result is not satisfying both from cognitive and affective standpoints. This is because the model is still new both for the teacher and the students; therefore, it is not effectively applied. The research moves to the second cycle. The result of this cycle shows that the achievement of the students is getting better and quite satisfying. This is due to the fact that both the teacher and the students are successful in applying the model.

Abstract

Music is one source of beauty and the source of the creation of imaginative experience in children. One method of learning the art of music that can be done is through music experiences. This form of music experience will provide meaningful experiences for children in the art appreciate the music itself. There are several types of activity of musical experience that can be applied in learning the art of music in primary schools, namely listening activities, the activities of singing, playing musical activities, events move to the music, and reading music. The five types of real music experience for elementary students in order to improve and develop the appreciation, empathy, and intuition child music. Arts education in this case the music has not run optimally, as most primary schools do not have a special teacher of art, and this lesson can be said is complete only.

Abstract

Learning process in the school is composed by planning, implementation, evaluation, and control. Topic of learning consisted by introduction, topic focus, and summary as planned in the RPP was presented in the classroom. The implementation of learning process in middle high school in capital of Manokwari and its suburb region was compared to know its relation with points of national test. The information was gathered by field observation, interview, and document analysis. Learning process in middle high school in Manokwari was running and qualified as enough or good. The weakest of learning process is its implementation in the classroom. Good learning process is not always followed by a good point of national test.

Abstract

Abstrak Indonesia Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran siswa dan meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis paragraf eksposisi dengan penerapan metode Think, Talk, Write (TTW) pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SDN 29 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yang setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan dengan subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SDN 29 Kota Bengkulu dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar observasi guru dan siswa serta lembar hasil menulis paragraf eksposisi siswa. Data tes dianalisis dengan menggunakan rata-rata nilai, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa, sedangkan data observasi dianalisis dengan menggunakan rata-rata skor dan kriteria skor. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan dalam 2 siklus terjadi peningkatan pada aktivitas guru dan siswa. Untuk aktivitas guru pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata skor 22,5 dengan kriteria cukup dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata skor 25,5 dengan kriteria baik. Untuk aktivitas siswa pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata skor 18,5 dengan kriteria cukup dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata skor 23,5 dengan kriteria baik. Kemudian untuk hasil tes menulis paragraf eksposisi pada siklus I mendapat nilai rata-rata kelas 68,75 dengan ketuntasan belajar menulis paragraf eksposisi secara klasikal mencapai 60% dan untuk siklus II diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas 77,6 dengan ketuntasan belajar menulis paragraf eksposisi secara klasikal mencapai 85%. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran menulis paragraf eksposisi dengan menerapkan metode Think, Talk, Write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran dan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis paragraf eksposisi. Abstrak Bahasa Inggris This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to improve the quality of student learning and improve student skills in writing paragraphs exposition with application of the method Think, Talk, Write (TTW) in Indonesian Language in Elementary School 29th class V Bengkulu City. The research was conducted in two cycles each cycle consisting of 2 meetings with the research subject is the teacher and class V students of SDN 29 the city of Bengkulu by the number of students 20 people. The instruments used consist of observation sheets and sheets of teachers and students write a paragraph of exposition students. Test data were analyzed by using the average value, the percentage of student learning exhaustiveness, while the observational data were analyzed by using the average scores and criterion scores. From the research that was done in two cycles there was an increase in the activity of teachers and students. For the activity of teachers in the cycle I obtained an average score of 22.5 with the criteria fairly and on the cycle II obtained an average score of 25.5 with a good criterion. For students on the activity cycle I obtained an average score of 18.5 with the criteria fairly and on the cycle II obtained an average score of 23.5 with a good criterion. Then to write a paragraph of exposition test results on the cycle I got a grade average of 68.75 with the thoroughness learning to write paragraphs in the classical exposition reached 60% and for the second cycle of the average values ​​obtained with the thoroughness 77.6 class to learn to write paragraphs in exposition classical reached 85%. From the results of this study can be concluded that the process of learning to write paragraphs by applying the method of exposition Think, Talk, Write (TTW) can improve the quality of the learning process and student skills in writing paragraphs exposition.

Abstract

Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan aktivitas guru dalam penggunaan media tiga dimensi dengan penerapan model pembelajaran STAD pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V SDN Rejeni Kecamatan Krembung Kabupaten Sidoarjo, mendiskripsikan hasil belajar siswa kelas V, mendiskripsikan respon siswa kelas V terhadap penggunaan media tiga dimensi dengan penerapan model pembelajaran STAD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan melalui empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Rejeni Kecamatan Krembung Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Data diperoleh melalui metode observasi, tes dan angket. Analisis penelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 72% dan siklus II sebesar 84%, hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 71% dan siklus II 83%. Dan respon siswa sebesar 87%. Hasil tersebut telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan penelitian yaitu 80% dan telah mengalami peningkatan pada tiap siklusnya. Berdasarkan uraian diatas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penggunaan media tiga dimensi dengan penerapan model pembelajaran STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V di SDN Rejeni Kecamatan Krembung Kabupaten Sidoarjo.   Abstrak Bahasa Inggris The purpose in this research is to describe teachers activities in the three dimension media using with applying of studies model of STAD to increase result of learning student of science in fifth class at SDN Rejeni Krembung Sidoarjo, describing result of learning student in fifth class, and describe student responsibility in three dimension media application with STAD model. This research is actually using classroom action research. The researches have been hold in two cycles and each cycles consisted of twice meeting, and through four steps are planning, observation, action and reflection. The subject of this research is student of 5th grade which has 22 students. The research will be held at SDN Rejeni Krembung Sidoarjo. Data in this research was found by observation, examination and questions. The research uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The result of researches explain about the teacher’s activity in fist cycle equals 72% and second cycle 84%, the result of learning student in first cycle known 71% and 83% for second, and student responsibility equal 87%. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that with use of three dimension media with applying of studies model of STAD can improve result of learning student of science in fifth class at SDN Rejeni Krembung Sidoarjo.
