Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Employee Engagement and Work-Life Balance on Employee Performance at Bank SulutGo Head Office. Using a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 122 employee respondents from various work units. The research instrument consisted of 30 questions measuring three variables: Employee Performance (12 items), Employee Engagement (9 items using the UWES framework by Schaufeli & Bakker), and Work-Life Balance (9 items based on the dimensions of Greenhaus et al.). The research findings indicate that: (1) Employee Engagement has a significant positive effect on Employee Performance (H1 accepted); (2) Employee Engagement has a significant positive effect on Work-Life Balance (H2 accepted); (3) Work-Life Balance does not significantly affect Employee Performance (H3 rejected). The research model explains 44.8% of the variance in Employee Performance and 41.4% of the variance in Work-Life Balance. Employee Engagement is proven to be the dominant factor with a total effect of 0.656 on Employee Performance.

Abstract

Persaingan industri roti yang semakin ketat menuntut perusahaan menerapkan strategi pemasaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keputusan pembelian konsumen. Harga dan promosi merupakan dua elemen penting dalam bauran pemasaran yang memengaruhi perilaku konsumen, khususnya pada usaha roti berskala menengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh harga dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian roti di Bread Factory Cabang Wanea, Kota Manado. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis asosiatif. Sampel sebanyak 100 responden dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS, setelah melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial harga dan promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Secara simultan, kedua variabel juga berpengaruh signifikan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 72,8%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi harga yang sesuai dan promosi yang efektif berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keputusan pembelian konsumen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berwirausaha pelaku usaha budidaya ikan air tawar di Desa Toulimembet Kecamatan Kakas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kewirausahaan pelaku usaha terlihat dari kemampuan melihat peluang usaha, kemampuan manajerial, keberanian mengambil risiko, serta inovasi dalam pengelolaan usaha. Namun masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan modal usaha, fluktuasi harga pakan, dan akses pasar yang terbatas.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of workplace facilities and non-physical work environment on employee productivity at Bank SulutGo Amurang Branch. Using a quantitative approach with a saturated sample of 54 employees, the results show that workplace facilities do not significantly affect productivity (t-count 0.637 < t-table 2.006), while the non-physical work environment has a significant effect (t-count 6.076 > t-table 2.006). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant influence (F-count 27.856 > F-table 3.18). These findings confirm that the non-physical work environment plays a more dominant role in driving productivity, aligning with Herzberg's theory which positions workplace facilities as a hygiene factor. Practical recommendations for management include conducting regular evaluations of facilities and fostering a conducive, safe, and comfortable work environment to enhance employee productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and work engagement on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Malalayang Branch, Manado. This research uses a quantitative associative approach with a census sampling technique involving 38 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and work engagement. Meanwhile, work engagement shows a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. These findings suggest that transformational leadership plays a dominant role in improving employee performance through inspiration, motivation, and individual consideration. Therefore, organizations are encouraged to strengthen leadership quality as a strategic effort to achieve optimal and sustainable employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of FOMO and Impulse Buying on Purchase Decision of Viral Skincare Products on the TikTokShop. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consist of students from the Business Administration Study Program, Class of 2022, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sam Ratulangi University, with a sample of 87 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that FoMO has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. These findings suggest that higher levels of FoMO increase the tendency of impulse buying, which ultimately drives purchase decisions. This study contributes theoretically to the development of digital consumer behavior research and provides practical implications for businesses in designing effective marketing strategies on TikTok Shop

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dampak integritas karyawan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai PT Bank Tabungan Negara Cabang Manado di tengah tantangan Transformasi perbankan digital. Pendekatan survei kuantitatif digunakan, menargetkan semua cabang. Sebanyak 70 responden dipilih melalui pengambilan sampel jenuh. Data primer dikumpulkan dari karyawan. melalui kuesioner dan dijelaskan menggunakan Pemodelan Persamaan Struktural Kuadrat Terkecil Parsial dengan Perangkat lunak SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integritas karyawan tidak memiliki Integritas karyawan mempunyai pengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan hal ini mempengaruhi pekerjaan. Lingkungan dan suasana kerja mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di PT. Bank Tabungan. Negara (Persero) Tbk. Kantor Cabang Manado.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing and brand equity on repurchase decisions of Uniqlo products in Manado City. The study is motivated by the increasing competition in the fashion industry and the importance of digital marketing strategies in building relationships with consumers and strengthening brand value. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through questionnaires from 78 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results indicate that digital marketing has a positive and significant effect on brand equity and repurchase decisions. Furthermore, brand equity also has a positive and significant effect on repurchase decisions. These findings demonstrate that the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies and strong brand equity play a crucial role in increasing consumers’ tendency to make repeat purchases. This study is expected to contribute theoretically to the development of marketing science and practically provide insights for companies in enhancing customer loyalty.

Abstract

The decline in productivity and low employee loyalty at PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra indicate problems in human resource management. This study aims to analyze the effect of employee engagement and organizational commitment on employee performance. A quantitative approach was used, involving 52 employees as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that all constructs meet validity and reliability requirements. Furthermore, employee engagement and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. These findings emphasize that enhancing employee engagement and organizational commitment is a key factor in improving sustainable employee performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan tesis ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh keseimbangan kerja-hidup dan stres kerja terhadap niat berhenti kerja karyawan FIFGROUP Manado, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui mediasi, serta memberikan kontribusi teoritis pada literatur manajemen SDM dan praktis bagi perusahaan dalam mengurangi niat berhenti kerja karyawan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh karyawan FIFGROUP Manado berjumlah sekitar 55 orang, sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan dokumentasi, dan analisis data dengan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan kerja-hidup tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap niat berhenti kerja, tetapi memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap stres kerja, sedangkan stres kerja memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap niat berhenti kerja, dengan stres kerja sepenuhnya memediasi pengaruh keseimbangan kerja-hidup terhadap niat berhenti kerja.
