For optical lens manufacturing the development of product and service quality is a key thing in answering challenges in the business competition it is developing. To achieve this determine the Key Performance Indicator (KPI), the Rejected Rate and On-Time Delivery (OTD) to measure the extent of the performance that has been achieved and how to develop it, shape the work culture of Kaizen which commits to continuous improvement and value chain analysis largely determine the process of developing production and service quality. The Kaizen culture and value chain applied in achieving the KPI target in this study succeeded in reducing the KPI Rejected Rate by 0. 46% and raise OTD by 2. 22%. The method used in this study uses a review of literature studies, observations, and direct interviews of the plant manager of one of the largest optical lenses manufacturers in Indonesia using data comparisons in 2018 and 2020

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an institutional strengthening strategy in order to optimize the management of dryland farming as one of a central point in agribusiness in the Ex-Surakarta Residency, Central Java. The data in this study are collected using the participatory rural appraisal (PRA) method and analyzed with qualitative data analysis during 1 April to 30 September 2016 period. The strengthening strategy is developed through a focus group discussion (FGD) and analysis of hierarchy process (AHP). The result of this study shows that the institution of farmer production facilities is in a weak condition. Institutional within the cultivation activity, especially in the procurement of land, usually the norm of the lease are made jointly between two parties, while transactions between peasants and farm workers are made based on a Neoclassical contract which is built over a complex and long term relationship. In the institution of output processing, the relationship between peasants and processors can be included in a relational contract because it is based on the business relationship experienced by the two parties. Moreover, this study finds that the marketing institutional in the management of output is characterized by a fragile transaction between peasants and traders where in the level of supportive institutional, the role is still have not been playing well.Keywords: Institutional Strengthening, PRA, FGD, AHPPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi penguatan kelembagaan dalam rangka optimalisasi pengelolaan lahan kering sebagai salah satu titik sentral dalam agribisnis di Eks-Karesidenan Surakarta, Jawa Tengah. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode participatory rural appraisal (PRA) dan dianalisis dengan analisis data kualitatif yang dilakukan pada 1 April sampai 30 September 2016. Strategi penguatan dikembangkan melalui focus group discussion (FGD) dan analysis ofhierarchy process (AHP). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kelembagaan sarana produksi petani dalam kondisi lemah. Kelembagaan dalam kegiatan budidaya pertanian, terutama dalam pengadaan tanah, biasanya dibuat norma sewa bersama antara kedua belah pihak. Sementara itu transaksi antara petani dan pekerja pertanian dilakukan berdasarkan kontrak neoklasik yang dibangun di atas hubungan yang kompleks dan jangka panjang.  Pada lembaga pemrosesan output, hubungan antara petani dan pihak-pihak yang memproses hasil pertanian (pedagang) dapat dimasukkan dalam kontrak relasional karena didasarkan pada hubungan bisnis yang dialami oleh kedua pihak.  Lebih lanjut, temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelembagaan pemasaran dalam output ditandai dengan transaksi yang rapuh antara petani dan pedagang dimana kelembagaan pendukung belum berperan baik dalam mengoptimalkan pemasaran.Kata kunci: Penguatan Kelembagaan, PRA, FGD, AHP

Abstract

AbstractInvestments in the securities markets can be classified as high-risk investments, because of the nature of the commodity is very sensitive to changes in the macroeconomic sector, including inflation, interest rates, and exchange rate rupiah / U.S. Dollar. This study aimed to examine differences in the effect of inflation, interest rate, and exchange rate Rupiah / U.S. Dollar on stock return consumer goods companies and stock return real estate company. This study were used a sample 29 consumer goods companies and 30 real estate companies that listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over the period 2007 to 2011. The sample taken using purposive sampling, and the analysis tools used were Chow test with dummy variable method. The study found that there is a significant negative effect of inflation and the interest rate on stock return consumer goods companies and stock return real estate companies, as well as a significant positive effect of exchange rate of Rupiah / U.S. Dollar on stock return consumer goods companies and stock return real estate companies. The study also found that the effect of the interest rate to the stock return real estate companies greater than the effect of interest rate on stock return consumer goods companies, but there is no difference in the effect of inflation and exchange rate of Rupiah / U.S. Dollar on stock return consumer goods companies and stock return real estate companies. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan daerah Kota Semarang dalam rangka mendukung pelaksanaan otonomi daerah. Sedangkan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Laporan Realisasi Anggaran Kota Semarang Periode 2009 -2013. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan Deskriptif Komperatif analisisis untuk mengukur kinerja pengelolaan keuangan daerah dan tingkat kemandirian daerah Kota Semarang, yaitu Rasio Kemandirian Keuangan Daerah, Rasio Derajat Desentralisasi, Rasio Efektifitas PAD, dan Rasio Keserasian Belanja Daerah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: hasil analisis rasio derajat desentralisasi dapat dijelaskan bahwa rata– rata rasio derajat desentralisasi sebesar 25,87%  yang berada interval 25% –50% atau mempunyai kemampuan yang sudah baik dalam membiayai pembangunan daerah. Berdasarkan rasio KKD dengan rata – rata rasio KKD sebesar 37,79% berada pada interval 25% -50% berarti konsultatif artinya campur tangan pemerintah pusat sudah mulai berkurang, karena daerah dianggap sedikit lebih mampu melaksanakan otonomi daerah. Rata-rata Rasio Efektivitas PAD ³ 100%, berarti kemampuan daerah dalam menjalankan tugas dikategorikan sangat efektif itu menunjukan dalam memobilisasi penerimaan PAD sesuai dengan yang ditargetkan. Menurut uraian dan perhitungan Rasio Keserasian bahwa sebagian besar dana yang dimiliki pemerintah Kota Semarang diprioritaskan untuk belanja pembangunan sehingga belanja rutin masih relatif kecil. Kata Kunci: Kinerja Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah, Tingkat Kemandirian Daerah Abstract This study aimed to analyze the effect the financial ability of Semarang City in order to support the implementation of regional autonomy, base on Semarang Budget Realization Reported the period of 2009 -2013. A descriptive comparative analysis used to measure the performance of regional financial management and the independence level of Semarang, consist of Regional Financial Independence Ratio, Degree of Decentralization Ratio, PAD effectiveness Ratio, and the  Harmony Expenditure Ratio. Based on the analysis that has been obtained, the following results: from the analysis of the ratio of the degree of decentralization can be explained that the average ratio of the degree of decentralization is 25,87% of which is in the internal level of level  25%-50%, means  already have a good ability to finance region development. Average KKD ratio is 37.79% which is in the interval 25 % -50 % means   that central government intervention has begun to decrease, because the region is considered a little more able to implement region autonomy. From the analysis of PAD effectiveness is more than 100%, it can be concluded that the overall performance of local financial management and the degree of independence of Semarang area continued to improve. It can be seen from some of the financial performance ratio is the ratio of the area of financial independence, the ratio of degrees desentralization, effectiveness ratio and the ratio continues to increase harmony and good effect on the autonomy  of the region . Keywords: Region financial management performance, Degree of region decentralization

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini mencoba untuk menguji pengaruh komponen pembentuk ekuitas merek terhadap pembelian wingko babad merek/cap “Kereta Api” sebagai oleh-oleh khas kota Semarang.Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non Random Sampling dengan metode Accidental Sampling dengan data primer. Populasi penelitian ini sebesar 500pembeli wingko babad  “Kereta Api” dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 125 pembeli. Data diolah dengan metode analisis regresi berganda melalui program SPSS versi 17. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwapengaruh yang signifikan antara kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek, persepsi kualitas merek dan loyalitas merek terhadap intensitas pembelian, artinya semakin tinggi kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek, persepsi kualitas merek dan loyalitas merek maka semakin tinggi pula intensitas pembelian.Besarnya angka Koefisien determinasi 0,550 atau sama dengan 55%. Angka tersebut berarti bahwa sebesar 55% intensitas pembelian yang terjadi dapat dijelaskan dengan menggunakan variabel kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek, persepsi kualitas merek dan loyalitas merek.Sedangkan sisanya 45% (100% - 55%) mendapat kontribusi dari faktor-faktor penyebab lainnya. Kata kunci: Ekuitas Merek, kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek, persepsi kualitas merek,loyalitas merek, intensitas pembelian AbstractThis study attempts to examine the effect of forming components of brand equity to purchase the Chronicle wingko brand / label of "Train" as souvenirs typical town Semarang.Teknik sampling in this study using the technique of non-random sampling by accidental sampling method with the primary data. This study population of 500pembeli wingko chronicle "Train" to sample as many as 125 buyers. Data processed by the method of multiple regression analysis by SPSS version 17. The analysis showed that the significant influence of brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality of the brand and brand loyalty to the intensity of the purchase, meaning that the higher the brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality of the brand and brand loyalty, the higher the intensity of the purchase. The coefficient of determination large numbers 0,550 or equal to 55%. This figure means that the intensity of 55% of purchases made can be explained by using a variable of brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality of the brand and brand loyalty. Abstract

This research aims to measure and compare the moral hazard behaviour of micro and small enterprises’ debtors within Purwokerto area on Productive Business Loan scheme. This scheme was choosen because of the highest Non Performing Loan (NPL) among others. The data were collected from 127 debitors by using simple random sampling technique. Rating scale method was used to measure the moral hazard behaviours of debtors through questionnaire and later comparing them to study how serious the noncompliance rate in repaying off their credits. This research finds that (1) Generally, the moral hazard behaviour tends to be medium-to-high, (2) The highest moral hazard should be attributed to debitors in Purbalingga followed by those in Banjarnegara, Purwokerto, and Cilacap. Then, it suggests that (1) all bank branches need to pay more attentions to their debitors because their moral hazard behaviours have been medium-to-high. (2) Each branch needs to apply specific treatments to the debitors to improve debitors’ installments, i.e building lending relationship as one way of exploring soft information which emphasizes informal approaches, (3) It should be important to design integrated training and practices for bank officers in order to build up their sense of psychological skills in public relationship in order to handle, in turn, those risky debtors.

Abstract

                                                 AbstrakProses belajar mengajar dalam berbagai aspeknya sangat berkaitan dengan kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa. Kecerdasan emosional ini mampu melatih kemampuan mahasiswa tersebut, yaitu kemampuan untuk mengelola perasaannya, kemampuan untuk memotivasi dirinya, kesanggupan untuk tegar dalam menghadapi frustasi, kesanggupan mengendalikan dorongan dan menunda kepuasan sesaat, mengatur suasana hati yang reaktif, serta mampu berempati dan bekerja sama dengan orang lain. Kemampuan-kemampuan ini mendukung seorang mahasiswa dalam mencapai tujuan dan citacitanya. ujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap tingkat pemahaman akuntansi.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa akuntansi semeter akhir Fakultas Ekonomi UNTAG Semarang sebanyak 56. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus , jumalah sampel sebanyak 50. Data diperoleh melalui metode kuesioner dengan skala likert, yang diadopsi dari Trisnawati (2003). Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis linier berganda. Data diolah dengan bantuan software SPSS 15.Berdasarkan hasilnya, dari lima hipotesis yang dikemukakan, hipotesis 1 , 2, 3 dan 4 diterima yang menyatakan bahwa pengenalan diri (P-value sebesar 0,020), pengendalian diri (P-value sebesar 0,047), motivasi (P-value sebesar 0,026 ) dan empati (P-value sebesar 0,042 ) berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pemahaman akuntansi mahasiswa. Sedangkan hipotesis 5 ditolak artinya ketrampilan sosial tidak bepengaruh terhadap tingkat pemahaman akuntansi (P-value sebesar 0,081).Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan emosional (EQ), Tingkat Pemahaman Akuntansi, pengenalan diri, pengendalian diri, motivasi, empati, dan ketrampilan sosial                                                  AbstractTeaching and learning process in many aspects closely related to emotional intelligence of students. Emotional intelligence is able to train the students' ability, the ability to manage their feelings, the ability to motivate himself, ability to toughen up in the face of frustration, the ability to control impulses and delay gratification, regulate mood reactive, and able to empathize and cooperate with others . These capabilities support a student in achieving the goals and ideals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on the level of understanding of accounting.The population in this research is meter final accounting students of the Faculty of Economics UNTAG Semarang as many as 56. Census sampling method, sample jumalah 50. Data obtained through the questionnaire with Likert method, adopted from Trisnawati (2003). Analysis of the data using linear regression analysis method. Data processed with software SPSS 15.Based on the results, of the five proposed hypotheses, hypotheses 1, 2, 3 and 4 received stating that the introduction of self (P-value of 0.020), self-control (P-value of 0.047), motivation (P-value of 0.026) and empathy (P-value of 0.042) effect on the level of understanding of accounting students. While the hypothesis is rejected 5 bepengaruh  means no social skills to the level of understanding of accounting (P-value of 0.081). Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of individual characteristics andIntrinsic motivation on innovative behaviour and employee performance, and the effectinnovative behaviour on employee performance. The study was conducted at banking company, the sample size is about 200 employees. Methods of data analysis used in thisstudy is a quantitative analysis method where quantitative data analysis method is a method of analysis in the form of figures and calculations using statistical methods. In simplify the analysis process, will be used Structural Equations Modeling (SEM). According to the analysis, it is concluded as the followings: individual characteristics has a positive effect oninnovative behaviour; intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on innovative behaviour; individual characteristics has a positive effect on employee performance intrinsic motivation has a negative effect on employee performance and innovative behaviour has apositive effect on employee performance. The results of this study and the limitations found to be a source of ideas and input for the development of this study in the future, the suggested expansion of this research include: Future research is not only done from one employee's perspective, rather it is recommended at the same time from two points of view, namely the perspective of the leaders / top management / manager and also the point of view of the employees themselves.

Abstract

Abstract This paper tries to investigate the effect of swap line establishment to the portfolio flows to developing countries in the subprime mortgage crisis. This issue is interesting to investigate because the swap line establishment is relatively new phenomenon in the international financial resolution. It also involve major economic powers as the partner of developing countries in this arrangement. Sample of this research consist of 64 developing countries and the observation period year is 2009. The quantitative approach specifically regression analysis is chosen to obtain the result.  From the analysis result reveals that the swap presence has no effect to the portfolio flows to the developing and emerging market. The swap partner statistical result is more convincing; but the relationship is weak it is significant at the alpha 10 %. And finally the swap amount provide much better result, it has the highest relationship significant at the alpha of 1 % with the portfolio flows to developing countries. Keywords : swap line, portfolio flows, developing countries, subprime mortgage crisis Abstraksi           Tulisan ini mencoba untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari pembentukan jalur swap terhadap arus portofolio menuju negara berkembang dalam krisis subprime mortgage. Isu ini menarik untuk dipelajari karena pembentukan jalur swap adalah fenomena yang relatif baru dalam penyelesaian permasalahan keuangan internasional. Hal ini juga melibatkan kekuatan-kekuatan ekonomi besar sebagai partner dari negara-negara berkembang dalam perjanjian ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 64 negara berkembang dan periode pengamatan adalah tahun 2009. Pendekatan kuantitatif secara lebih spesifik yaitu analisis regresi dipilih untuk mendapatkan hasil perhitungan. Dari hasil perhitungan mengungkapkan bahwa pembentukan swap tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap arus portofolio ke negara berkembang. Hasil statistik dari swap partner lebih meyakinkan, walaupun hubungannya lemah signifikan pada alpha 10 %. Dan terakhir nilai swap memberikan hasil yang lebih baik, memiliki hubungan yang lebih erat signifikan pada alpha 1 % dengan aliran modal menuju negara berkembang. Kata kunci : jalur swap, arus portofolio, negara berkembang, krisis subprime mortgage

Abstract

ABSTRAKSaat ini penerapan TQM di PT. Yodya Karya (Persero) masih memiliki sedikit kendala, antara lain masih adanya karyawan yang belum memahami apa yang dimaksud dengan TQM.  Hal sangat disayangkan karena  kesuksesan implementasi penerapan TQM membawa dampak yang baik bagi peningkatan kualitas dan peningkatan komitmen dari para karyawan yang pada akhirnya dapat memicu karyawan untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya. Disisi lain, Kepemimpian adalah salah satu faktor penting untuk keberhasilan penerapan TQM.  Berdasarkan kondisi saat ini yang dihadapi oleh PT. Yodya Karya (Persero) dan dukungan literatur yang ada, maka diperlukan penelitian tentang hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional, penerapan TQM, komitmen organisasi, dan kinerja karyawanReponden penelitian adalah karyawan  PT. Yodya Karya (Persero) Wilayah I di Semarang, sebanyak 117 karyawan. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), yang dioperasikan melalui program AMOS 19.0.Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan: Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan penerapan TQM terhadap komitmen organisasi.Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan penerapan TQM terhadap kinerja karyawan. Yodya Karya (Persero) still has a few obstacles, among others, there are still employees who do not understand what is meant by TQM.  This situation is unfortunate because some literature suggests that successful implementation of the application of TQM bring a good impact on improving the quality and increase the commitment of employees could ultimately trigger employees to improve performance. On the other hand, one important factor for the successful implementation of TQM is leadership. Thereby, based on current conditions faced by PT. Yodya Karya (Persero) and literature that says that there is a relationship between transformational leadership, implementation of TQM, organizational commitment, and employee performanceThe respondents  of consisted of 117 employees of  PT. Yodya Karya (Persero) Region I in Semarang. Data analysis tool used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), which is operated with the AMOS program 19.0.This study concluded: There is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership and application of TQM on organizational commitment.  There is a positive and significant influence between transformational leadership and application of TQM on employee performance. Abstract

AbstrakUniversitas Islam Nahdlatul Ulama (UNISNU) Jepara sebagai lembaga pendidikan tinggi dituntut untuk memenuhi standar umum kelayakan serta melaksanakan pengelolaan pendidikan tinggi berdasarkan prinsip efektif dan efisien. Dalam mencapai prasyarat tersebut UNISNU Jepara perlu didukung sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kinerja atau prestasi kerja yang tinggi. Dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi kerja pegawai di UNISNU Jepara secara berkelanjutan, perlu dikembangkan model peningkatan prestasi kerja, sehingga perlu dilakukan kajian teoritis untuk mendapatkan komponen variabel yang dapat mempengaruhi prestasi kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis serta mendapatkan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh disiplin kerja, kemampuan kerja dan profesionalisme terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai UNISNU Jepara. Objek penelitian adalah seluruh pegawai UNISNU Jepara. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan model persamaan structural Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keseluruhan variabel independen berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi kerja. Kedisiplinan pegawai dengan indikator kehadiran di tempat kerja dan penyelesaian pekerjaan sesuai waktu yang ditentukan terbukti memiliki pengaruh yang paling kuat terhadap prestasi kerja dinilai dari aspek kualitas dan ketepatan waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan.Kata kunci: kedisiplinan, kemampuan kerja, profesionalisme, prestasi kerja, UNISNU JeparaAbstractNahdlatul Ulama Islamic University (UNISNU) Jepara as a higher education institution is required to meet the general standards of eligibility and implement the management of higher education based on effective and efficient principles. In achieving these prerequisites UNISNU Jepara needs to be supported by human resources that have high performance. In an effort to improve employee performance in UNISNU Jepara in a sustainable manner, it is necessary to develop a model of work performance improvement, so it is necessary to do a theoretical study to get variable components that can affect employee performance. This study aims to analyze and obtain empirical evidence about the influence of discipline, work ability and profesionalism to employee performance at UNISNU Jepara. The object of this research is all employees of UNISNU Jepara. The analysis was performed using the Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that all independent variables have a positive effect on work performance. Employee discipline with indicators attendance in the workplace and completion of work within the specified time proved to have the strongest impact on employee performance judged from the aspect of quality and timeliness of work completion.Keywords: discipline, work ability, professionalism, work performance, UNISNU Jepara
