Abstract

The learning model was developed to answer the issue of solving learning problems. At elementary school level, one of the models that has been developed is a geometry learning model, such as a spatial imaginative learning model with learning syntax in the form of introduction, demonstration of spatial concepts, facilitation of spatial activities and closing. The learning model syntax will work well if it is equipped with learning model products such as model books, teaching modules, student worksheets, teacher books, etc. To obtain validity and answer whether the product model has valid criteria or not, a validation sheet needs to be developed. The aim of this research is to develop a validation sheet for the learning model product. This research is development research using the Plomp model. The development stages of Plomp are: initial investigation, prototype development, and assessment. The results of the research are in the form of a learning model product validation sheet format. The implication of the research results is the applicability of the learning model product validation sheet format as a tool for obtaining the validity of the learning model product.

Abstract

Contextual and meaningful learning is limitedly implemented in elementary schools. Whereas the learning activities stated by the Merdeka Curriculum are not only limited to learning conventionally in class but also involve various activities, such as doing a project. Furthermore, learning activities in the Merdeka Curriculum include a project called Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, or Reinforcement Project of Pancasila Student Profile (P5). Regarding the problem, this study is aimed at developing a tourism-based learning model that involves local tourism content in its implementation. To implement the dimension of P5 called global unity in diversity, this learning model was integrated into English. The model was developed by using research and development design with define, design, develop, and disseminate (4D). As a result, the syntax of this learning model includes: 1) orientation, 2) inquiry process, 3) field study or outing class, 4) data analysis, 5) exhibition, and 6) reflection. This learning model was proven to be very good by material experts and practitioners. The students also revealed that this learning model was interesting and fun. They could also work collaboratively, actively, and creatively. Finally, it is expected that the students can use their English skills to promote local tourism.

Abstract

The Getak Mask Dance (topeng dance) and the Rondhing Dance are emblematic forms of expression that originated and raised in Pamekasan. In the year of 2023, the Getak Mask (topeng) Dance was bestowed with the esteemed title of being recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage site. Diligent endeavors persist to safeguard the heritage of this distinct dance. Among the measures undertaken to nurture its preservation, an emphasis has been placed on integrating this remarkable dance into the educational activities of elementary school students. The prime objective of this study is to delve into the rich repertoire of Pamekasan's distinctive dances, which can be effectively incorporated as educational resources for elementary school students. In this exploration, a combination of interview techniques, astute observations, and comprehensive document analysis have been employed. The data collected has been analyzed in a descriptive and qualitative manner. The findings of this research underscore that the aforementioned dance can indeed be utilized as an educational resource, shedding light on its historical genesis, progressive development, diverse movements, as well as its intricate makeup and fashion. Contrarily, the Rondhing Dance exhibits a simplicity and repetitive nature, aligning perfectly with the inherent characteristics of elementary school students' movements. Consequently, it enables the students to wholeheartedly engage in the dance, resonating with its distinct nuances. Conversely, due to its elevated level of technical proficiency and appreciation, the Getak Mask Dance renders it less accessible for elementary school students to perform with utmost appreciation.
