Abstract

This research aims to implement a website-based financial recording system at Dapoer LN MSME Kudus, with a focus on increasing efficiency and accuracy in recording income and expenses. The system is designed to support the management of data such as income, expenses, payables, receivables, and employee data in real-time, with a simple and user-friendly interface. The implementation process uses the PHP programming language and the waterfall development method, which was chosen for its systematic linear approach so that each stage can be managed in a structured manner. The system development was performed using Visual Studio Code as the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and MySQL as the Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). Visual Studio Code was chosen for its flexibility and extension support, while MySQL was used for its stability in handling small to medium scale data. The results of the research resulted in a website-based financial recording system that is able to manage data on income, expenses, payables, receivables, and employee data with a high level of accuracy. This system is expected to support Dapoer LN MSME Kudus in monitoring financial conditions more effectively and provide a basis for making quick and precise decisions. This article covers the entire process of designing to evaluating the system, with the hope of contributing to the increased productivity and growth of Dapoer LN MSME Kudus. In addition, this system is expected to be a reference for other MSME in improving competitiveness and operational efficiency. Thus, this research is not only beneficial for Dapoer LN MSME Kudus, but also has the potential to have a broader positive impact on the small and medium business sector. Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an e-commerce based website specifically designed to help Dapoer LN MSME in managing and increasing online product sales, in line with the need to adapt to digital technology to face increasingly fierce market competition. The development process covers all stages, from design to implementation, involving MSME business owners as the main users to ensure the features developed suit their needs. This research methodology uses observation to understand business processes and operational needs, interviews to identify challenges in digital marketing, and literature studies to find the best approach in e-commerce design. This website is designed with various main features for business owners, such as product category features, products, orders, coupons, customer data, customer reviews, and reports, as well as features for customers, such as product features, orders, reviews, and payments. The design focuses on user-friendly interface design, data security, and effective digital marketing strategies to improve customer experience and expand the market. With features that support inventory management and customer data analysis, this website is expected to become a strategic tool to increase competitiveness, reduce operational costs, and encourage the growth of Dapoer LN MSME. This research is limited to feature development without including a financial recording system, making it a complete and efficient solution to support the success of Dapoer LN MSME in facing the challenges of the modern technological era. Abstract

The educational game “Story Adventure Of Cakra” with the theme of Indonesian independence history is designed to improve students’ understanding and interest in learning, especially among students in grades 3 and 4 of elementary school, through an interactive and fun approach. This game was created using the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method and the Construct 3 engine, with a focus on learning history through adventure gameplay and a quiz system. This study uses a qualitative approach involving students in grades 3 and 4 of elementary school and history teachers as research subjects. Data collection was carried out through interviews, participatory observations, and literature studies. The results of blackbox testing showed that all game features, including the navigation system, gameplay, and quiz-based evaluation features, functioned well. In addition, trials with students and teachers showed that this game was able to attract students’ attention and increase their motivation to learn the history of Indonesian independence. Overall, “Story Adventure Of Cakra” has succeeded in becoming an innovative learning alternative in Indonesian history education. This game has a positive impact on students’ understanding, combines elements of entertainment and education, and supports the creation of a fun and effective learning experience. With its potential, it is hoped that this game can continue to be developed to support history learning at various levels of education. Abstract

Purpose – The study presented in this paper reports on a pilot implementation of scientific management principles in addressing city government facility problems across divisions. To pursue more effective and efficient results, the Tambaksari site that serves various Surabaya Department of Water Resources and Highway Development (SubDRD) tasks, including welding, storage, repair, drainage work, refueling, and security, covering a 15,457 m2 area is evaluated and improved using facility layout, occupational health and safety, and simulation methods. Existing facilities lack grouping based on activities, resulting in inefficiencies. The site poses potential hazards, such as oil spills and hazardous welding practices. This research seeks to optimize facility layout by implementing occupational health and safety standards for effective, efficient activities, and appropriate control systems. Methodology – This research identifies facility needs, sizes, and proximity relationships using the BLOCPLAN algorithm. Hazard management employs the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method, identifying hazards through Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and assessing risk levels with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Control system planning, based on the hierarchy of control, is integrated into facility layout design. Stakeholder feedback is gathered through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to refine alternative designs. Arena software simulation assesses workstation utility, guiding adjustments for optimization. Findings – The combination of the BLOCPLAN algorithm, HIRARC analysis, and Arena simulation resulted in an estimated design layout that can reduce total out of direction travel distance by 47.32%, backtracking by 43.31%, and cross-movement by 47.37%. Research Limitations – Despite the practical implications involve shaping a more effective Tambaksari layout for SubDRD operations, potentially improving work productivity, creating a safer work environment, and enhancing maintenance service quality for Surabaya City Government infrastructure, the occupational health and safety aspects in this research are only considered concerning their influence on layout design and the simulations only target the workshop activities. Originality – This study is original in the scope of Indonesian city government work that rarely implementing scientific management methods in addressing their problems and challenges. In addition, this study provides integrated analysis across divisions in city government which are usually very rigid and limited by bureaucracy.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are pivotal to economic development, particularly in Indonesia, where they contribute significantly to employment and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, the adoption of sophisticated technologies such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems remains a challenge due to constraints in resources, resistance to change, and implementation costs. This study applies a system dynamics methodology to develop an ERP adoption model specifically tailored for SMEs in Banyumas. The model synthesizes mental models derived from a comprehensive review of literature and semi-structured interviews with relevant stakeholders, culminating in the creation of a Causal Loop Diagram (CLD). This diagram identifies key feedback loops influencing ERP adoption, including reinforcing loops related to awareness and business benefits, and balancing loops that address implementation challenges such as cost and complexity. The findings underscore the critical role of government support, the development of cost-effective ERP solutions, and the importance of training programs in facilitating ERP adoption. The proposed model provides practical insights for policymakers and ERP providers to enhance digital transformation within SMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of physical and non-physical work environments on employee performance in the garment industry. Both physical and non-physical work environments are crucial factors that affect employee productivity and well-being. The research method employed is a survey with a Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach to evaluate the relationships between latent variables, namely physical work environment, non-physical work environment, and employee performance. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 39 respondents working in a garment company in Boyolali, Central Java. The analysis results show that the physical work environment has a significant influence on employee performance, with aspects such as temperature, ventilation, noise, and workspace layout contributing positively. On the other hand, the non-physical work environment, such as communication with superiors, self-development, and responsibility, does not show a direct significant effect on employee performance. These findings indicate that improvements in physical aspects are more urgently needed to directly enhance employee performance. However, non-physical factors may require a more strategic and in-depth approach to yield optimal impact.

Abstract

PT Aryan Pembangunan Perumahan Properti atau KidZania Surabaya berjalan pada sektor industri hiburan maka standar grooming menjadi sangat penting. Hal ini karena karyawan berinteraksi langsung dengan pelanggan, dan penampilan mereka mencerminkan nilai-nilai profesionalisme perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan meningkatkan standar grooming karyawan operasional di PT Aryan Pembangunan Perumahan Properti Surabaya menggunakan metode Six Sigma (DMAIC) dan FMEA. Grooming berperan penting dalam menciptakan kesan profesional dan meningkatkan citra perusahaan. Data historis dari Januari hingga Agustus 2024 digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi akar penyebab pelanggaran grooming. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelanggaran pakaian tidak sesuai sebesar 39%, kuku panjang 37%, dan rambut tidak rapi 24%. Analisis menggunakan tahapan Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, dan Control menghasilkan solusi berupa pelatihan ulang, pengawasan berkala, dan penegakan standar yang lebih ketat. Diagram Pareto mengidentifikasi bahwa pakaian tidak sesuai merupakan prioritas utama untuk diperbaiki karena memiliki total pelanggaran paling tinggi yaitu 606 orang. Implementasi metode ini mampu meningkatkan kepatuhan dan memperkuat citra perusahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menganalisis dan memahami gerakan manusia serta waktu yang diperlukan dalam menyelesaikan proses pembuatan batik cap. Aktivitas gerakan yang dilakukan harus efektif dan waktu proses setiap kegiatan harus dibuat standar agar waktu produksi dapat mudah diatur dan ditemukan sistem kerja terbaik atau efisien. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini yaitu metode Motion and Time Study yaitu metode yang berguna untuk mengevaluasi gerakan produksi batik cap dengan mengelompokkan dan menemukan efisiensi dari gerakan tersebut. Selain mengidentifikasi juga mencari waktu baku dari sebuah proses sehingga waktu dapat terstandarisasi. Hasil dari penelitian waktu siklus untuk pembuatan batik cap adalah 135,30 menit. Dengan rata-rata waktu proses paling lama adalah proses pengeringan/penjemuran batik dengan waktu rata-rata 121,25 menit.Waktu normal pembuatan batik cap dengan mempertimbangkan rating factor adalah 168,17 menit.Waktu baku/waktu standar pembuatan batik cap adalah 240,48 menit. Berdasarkan peta therblig tangan kanan dan kiri maka gerakan dominan dari tangan kanan adalah menggunakan dan memegang dengan waktu masing-masing adalah 184 detik dan 122 detik dalam satu kali produksi kain batik. Usulan perbaikan untuk aktivitas menggunakan adalah mendesain ulang dimensi alat cap sedangkan pada aktivitas memegang adalah mengatur tata letak tinta cap. Tangan kiri lebih sering digunakan untuk aktivitas memegang dan menganggur yaitu masing-masing selama 149 detik dan 139 detik. Usulan perbaikan pada aktivitas memegang yaitu disediakan tempat untuk menaruh dan menopang pewarna kain. Perbaikan tangan kiri menganggur adalah pada saat pengecapan tangan kiri dapat memegang penggaris sehingga tidak perlu mengarahkan dan hasil cap dapat lebih presisi. Abstract

The increase in population and public awareness of the importance of animal protein have also caused increasion of animal protein consumption, especially beef. Therefore, it is necessary to increase beef production by increasing the livestock cattle. Cage condition plays an important role in increasing beef production. The better condition of the cowshed, the greater cow’s health will improve. The QFD method aims to design cowshed based on user desires by translating them into attribute forms. The criteria desired by users for the design of cowshed include: a) There is waste disposal; b) Using brick walls; c) Using wooden poles; d) The pen does not smell; e) Using an asbestos roof; f) There is good ventilation/air circulation; g) Simple shape; h) Individual pen model; and i) There is urine and feces processing. The design of cowshed that are in accordance with user desires include: a) There is a liquid waste drainage channel; b) There is a place for cow dung; c) The boundary wall in the pen is made of brick with a height of 100 cm; d) The poles in the pen are made of wood with a round shape; e) The slope of the floor is approximately 2 degrees so that the floor is dry; f) Using an asbestos roof; g) The design of a simple cage is as needed; h) There are food and drink containers for each cow; i) There is a place to tie but no divider for each cow; and j) There is a place to store liquid waste and a place for solid waste.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk merancang Dashboard User Interface (UI) yang inovatif untuk monitoring dan evaluasi pembelajaran di lingkungan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta, Hasil studi ini telah menyediakan platform yang komprehensif dan sesuai bagi pengguna untuk memonitoring dan mengevaluasi kemajuan pembelajaran. Dashboard UI ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk dengan mudah mengakses dan menganalisis data terkait kinerja Dosen, mahasiswa, materi kuliah, Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Studi, serta umpan balik. Melalui evaluasi mockup dan pengujian prototipe, UI yang dihasilkan dapat memberikan gambaran holistik dan mendalam tentang persiapan dan proses pembelajaran. memastikan kepatuhan terhadap standar kualitas pendidikan tinggi, serta hasilnya sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI), salah satunya memprioritaskan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan hasil secara berkelanjutan. Dashboard UI berfungsi sebagai tools yang berguna bagi pemangku kepentingan untuk membuat keputusan yang tepat, serta mengidentifikasi area yang harus diperbaiki. Tantangan implementasi dan keterbatasan dari desain ini telah teridentifikasi, dengan rekomendasi yang diusulkan. Rekomendasi untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut termasuk pembaruan desain, peningkatan fungsionalitas, dan integrasi dengan sistem lain. Hasil keseluruhan studi ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dan teoritis untuk meningkatkan manajemen pembelajaran di Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta serta dapat menjadi panduan pengembangan sistem informasi untuk mendukung kebijakan dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi.
