Abstract

The result of studying mathematics that is gotlen by students of SMP  Pertiwi 1 Padang still low. This case happened because the process of studying still centered on theacher.  Beside that, lackness of the ability of mastering also is one of problems that follow the effect of the low of the student’s result. One of the solution that can bedone to solve the problem is by using learning cycle model.The  research’s porposes is to know the effect of learning cycle model and the independence of student’s studying in the ability of problem solving student’s mathematics especially on “materi bangun ruang sisi datar”. This research is done in two classes that class as  experiment class and control class. In experiment class the studying is done by using learning cycle model. Otherewise, on control class, the studying is done without using convensional model. In each class the student are also divided two group. That is the level of independent high   studying and the of independent high stuying and the level of independent low studying the data of the research is gotten from the result of stuying  test that concern the independence the student’s studying that is done before and after. Experiment done other wise, the analisys of data is done by using uji t and anava 2 arah.The research of data analisys show that (1) the ability of problem solving the student’s that studying using learning cycle model is higter than the student that studying using convesional model, (2) the ability of problem solving mathematics the group of students the has the independens studying high which using convensional model, (3) the ability of problem solving the students which has the independence the studying low which using learning cycle   higter from students that studying use convensional model, (4) there is no interaction between using learning cycle model by the independence studying on effet the ability  of problem solving students mathematics.

Abstract

AbstractGood motivation is a key for success. Equipped with good classroom activities, it will be easy for students to increase their result. In grade VII MTsN Paninjauan, Some student have got good result in study, except for students in VII.c. To increase their result, we have to increase their motivation and classroom activities. All of this effort, we do in a series of activities in classroom action research that we do in two cycle activities. Base on first observation, the model that suitable for student is cooperative learning type Jigsaw. As the result, we find that student motivation and classroom are increase. It is also followed by increasing of their study result

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe firing line dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana motivasi belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah menerapkan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe firing line. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian random terhadap subjek. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP N kota Padang. Sampelnya terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data diperoleh melalui angket motivasi dan tes akhir hasil belajar siswa berupa tes essai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t satu pihak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi siswa setelah menerapkan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe firing line lebih baik dari sebelumnya dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe firing line  lebih baik daripada hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Writing arguments as one type of writing that aims to express ideas or opinions based on perceived experiences and observations. In addition, lifting things closer to the students makes students easy in expressing their ideas because the emotional role is very tight there. The purpose of this study is to prove the Influence of Emotional Intelligence Against the ability of writing arguments for students of SMP 1 Tanjungbalai. The population of this study were students of SMP  1 Tanjungbalai with a sample of 64 grade VII students from the school. The data analysis used linear regression and correlation test to find out the functional relationship and the closeness between the two variables. The results of this study showed that emotional intelligence significantly influence the ability of writing arguments. Meanwhile, the relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability of writing arguments is very high with correlation coefficient 0.945

Abstract

AbstrakLatar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah rasa percaya diri dan tanggung jawab siswa dalam mengerjakan tugas masih kurang dan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answer lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa  kelas VIII SMPN 30 Sijunjung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes akhir belajar yang memuat indikator pemahaman konsep. Untuk menganalisis data digunakan uji t. Berdasarkan analisis data didapatkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan  menerapkan pembelajaran aktif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answer lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional.Abstract The background of this research is the confidence and responsibility of the students in doing the task is still lacking and understanding the mathematical concepts of students who are still low. This study aims to determine whether the understanding of mathematical concepts of students using active learning strategy type Giving Question and Getting Answer is better than understanding the concept of students by using conventional learning. The population of this research is all students of class VIII SMPN 30 Sijunjung. The instrument used in this study is the final test of learning that contains indicators of conceptual understanding. To analyze the data used t test. Based on the data analysis, it is found that understanding mathematical concepts of students by applying active learning type Giving Question and Getting Answer is better than understanding students' mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi  dengan menggunakan  metode video critic materi mengomentari pembacaan puisi baru Pada peserta didik kelas XII IPA.2 semester ganjil   di SMA N 1 Mempura TP. 2014/2015. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan hipotesis  dengan menggunakan  metode video critic materi mengomentari pembacaan puisi baru dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi pada peserta didik kelas XII IPA.2 semester ganjil   di SMA N 1 Mempura TP. 2014/2015. Data di kumpulkan melalaui lembaran observasi yang di gunakan untuk melihat keterampilan menulis puisi siswa dengan menggunakan  metode video critic. Hasil dari dua siklus menunjukkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II dengan menggunakan metode metode video critic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh bahan ajar yang ada di SMA PGRI 3 Padang belum dapat membantu siswa untuk memahami masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang valid, praktis, dan efekif. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan mengikuti model pengembangan Ploom yang terdiri atas 3 fase yaitu preliminary research, prototyping phase, dan assessment phase (Plomp,2013: 19). Bahan ajar yang diharapkan siswa yaitu bahan ajar yang mampu membimbing siswa untuk belajar mandiri, mudah dipahami siswa, bahasa yang komunikatif dengan siswa dan mampu menigkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan berada pada kriteria sangat valid dengan rata-rata 872,7%. Hasil analisis angket praktikalitas sebesar 77,1% dengan kategori praktis.Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas XI IPA adalah 80%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menghasilkan LKS berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif pada materi turunan fungsi untuk siswa kelas XI SMA PGRI 3 Padang.

Abstract

This study is aimed to comparative analysis of concept understanding, and quantity of misconception, then student’s attitude scale after applying conceptual interactive learning with cmaptools media. This research used quasy experiment with Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest design and descriptive methods. The research sample was class X9 dan X10 semester 2 of Senior High Scool at Cimahi. Instruments that used were concept understanding test with CRI, observation form, student’s attitude scale form. N-gain average of understanding concept of experiment class is 0,50 and control class is 0,33. The result statistical test (test-t) showed improvement of concept understanding on students who use cmaptools in conceptual interactive learning was higher significantly compared with students who use conceptual interactive learning without cmaptools. Based on CRI analysis, the result were experiment class has more less misconception than control class. The result of student’s attitude scale was almost of all students agree that applying conceptual interactive learning with cmaptools media can motivate, gain concept understanding and can be applied for another concept in physics.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Mengetahui Peningkatan  Hasil Belajar IPS Melalui Penggunaan  Media Teka Teki Silang  Siswa Kelas IX.4 SMPN Negeri 1 Mempura Kec. Mempura Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan hipotesis tindakannya adalah dengan penggunaan pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi crossword puzzl pada mata pelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivits siswa dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IX.4 Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Mempura Kecamatan Mempura Kabupaten Siak tahun pelajaran 2015 – 2016. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembaran observasi yang di gunakan untuk melihat perubahan aktivitas belajar siswa, aktivitas guru dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi crossword puzzl pada mata pelajaran IPS dari siklus I ke siklus II.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa, aktivitas belajar siswa dan aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan sejak siklus I, peningkatan ini berlanjut pada siklus II dan pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan.

Abstract

This Research was based on student’s mathematics learning outcome was still under Minimum Achievement Criteria (KKM). The research was aimed at finding out whether student’s mathematical learning outcome by implementing PQ4R strategy was better than student’s mathematics learning outcome by implementing conventional learning at class IX MTsN 1 Pesisir Selatan. This was an experimental research with research result is random to subject. The population was all students at IXMTsN 1 Pesisir Selatan. Sampling classes were class IX.6 as the experimental class and IX.5 as the control class. The instrument was final test with its reliability 0,98. Technique of data analysis used one-tailed t-test. Based on the result of data analysis, it is concluded that student’s mathematical learning outcome by implementing PQ4R strategy was better than student’s mathematics learning outcome by implementing  convensional learning.
