Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Partnership Between Indonesia – Norway through Reducing Carbon Emissions. The objects of this study is the West Kalimantan forest, REDD scheme and the cooperation between Indonesia – Norway. Researchers are trying to understand and analyze the forest damage in Indonesia and the role of REDD in an effort to minimize the damage.This study used qualitative research type. The research method used is descriptive analysis techniques. Most of the data collected through the literature, searching websites, and interviews. Those data were analyzed by theory approach based on International Relations, Foreign Policy, International Cooperation, International Agreement, and Environmental.The results of this study indicate that the cooperation between Indonesia – Norway through the REDD scheme is poured into the form of a Letter of Intent (LoI) agreed on three phases in order to save West Kalimantan’s forest despite undergoing a new stage in the first phase, this cooperation has resulted although not significantly.Keywords : Environmental, REDD, Indonesia, Norway, West Kalimantan’s Forest

Abstract

The tendency of the Petalangan community to choose the treatment greatly influences the health of the Petalangan community in Betung Village, Pangkalan Kuras Subdistrict, Pelalawan District. Health is very important because it affect human productivity. The strong belief of the people of Petalangan towards traditional medicine makes people have other reasons for modern medicine. Therefore the researchers tried to analyze what the tendency of the Petalangan community to traditional medicine in the village of Betung is. In this study, researches used the theory of health belief models. This study condists of 6 respondents consisting of traditional / religious leaders, village midwives, and Betung villagers. The results of this study indicate that people’s choice of traditional and modern medicine is very good, society accepts that modern medicine is very good, society accepts that modern medicine is an irrevocable progress and has also helped the community in terms of achieving healing but they still cannot leave traditional medicine from their ancestors because it is considered valuable and has been proven to cure people from illness during this time and become the main choice in treatment.Keywords : Health, Betung Village, Petalangan Tribe, Treatment

Abstract

This research we gather are to know the differences from the guest’s satisfaction on the reservation between booking from various online travel agents and the hotel website for Nagoya Mansion Hotel.This research are using the methods of quantities description focusing on the topic we discuss. The amount we gather from our guest are as many as 100 guests. Furthermore the technique for gathering its data for this research by observing and documentation. We have put the data into a likert scale with four indicators. These indicator are hotel convenience, hotel price, hotel loyalist and hotel knowledge which these evaluation of the guest’s satisfactory on the reservation made by booking from various online travel agents and the hotel website which personally booked by the hotel guest. With the research that we have gathered, there are not much differences with the guest’s satisfactory on the two methods for reservation.The median satisfaction of guests who make Reservation at Online Travel Agents are is obtained in the amount of 38,18. While the median of the satisfaction of guests who make reservation via the hotel website is 37,46. (9,24 > 0,71) Its conclusion is H0 is rejected and HA is received, which means there is a relationship between the Online Travel Agent Reservation Method and Website Hotel Reservation Method.Keywords: Room Reservastion, Guests Satisfaction, Reservation

Abstract

The phenomenon of women run masculine professions can currently be found, one of them being a security unit. As a security guard are also required to run their nature as a wife and a housewife. This study aims to determine the front stage and back stage woman security at Mal SKA Pekanbaru.This study uses qualitative research with phenomenological approach. Subject of the study consisted of three security guards at the Mall SKA Pekanbaru women who have been chosen by purposive technique. The study used data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and research documentation. To achieve the validity of the data in this study, researchers used the extension of participation and triangulation.The results showed, first activity of the front stage (front stage) Mal SKA female guards are guarding the entrance activity Mall SKA, controlling basement, mobile floor, checking the criminal and maintaining office entrance. Manner that want to be perceived is the figure of the security firm, sprightly but still put forward the friendly attitude with a smile often to visitors with appearance of their attributes, hijab, cufflinks, uniform PDH (uniforms daily) complete with shoes PDH, PDL uniforms (uniforms outside) as well as makeup. Another attribute that female security guard coupling, rope chair complete with whistle, emblem, holograms in uniform, smile pin solution, haloan tango, mirrors, and metal detector. Second, the back stage female guards Mal SKA is activity to be a housewife and activities in the home environment. Manner which is perceived motherly attitude. But some attitude during the work sometimes helped too carried away though at the time I was at home such as assertiveness, discipline and lots of talk. This activity is also supported by the appearance of their attributes that negligee garments, clothing pregnant women, the hijab (when out of the house) as well as shirts and pants outfit.Keywords : Self Presentation, female guards, back stage, front stage

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The potential of cultural tourism attractions Rokan Hulu; (2) The potential of the natural tourist attraction as a tourist area Rokan Hulu; (3) The government's efforts to develop tourist attractions.This study used a qualitative method with descriptive approach, this subjects of this study werw taken from including, local community and village heads of Sungai Bungo village. The data collection is made by a study of documents, observation, interview, documentation.The results showed that Sungai Bungo village has tourism potential, nature tourism attractions and cultural tourism attractions, the potential of natural attractions, consist Sampuran Rura Pattasan waterfall, forest, the potential culture attraction and surrounding a tourist area of traditional and unique village including customs ie fish depths of prohibition, aqikah, circumcision apostles / circumcisions, belimau kasai, marriage tradition and way of life, this village has a high social life marked by frequent public conduct mutual cooperation. In conclusing Sungai Bungo village was potentially to be developed as a tourist village, supported by the efforts to develop infrastructure improvements as well as promotion.Keywords : Tourist area, attraction, Sungai Bungo village

Abstract

This research purposed to get know how culture festival perahu baganduang can improve tourist arrivals and how role the progress to tourism in lubuk jambi regency kuantan singingi. This research use metode descriptive qualitative to examine the issues raised. The source in this research is community leaders, stakeholders competent, Department of Culture, Tourism, regency Kuantan Singingi, and the executive committee culture festival perahu baganduang and tourist at festival perahu baganduang. While data collection techniques in this research use method observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research results has done, tourist culture perahu baganduang in area lubuk jambi still more not by the outside people, only area regency kuantan singingi has know festival perahu baganduang because resource, accessibility, facilities and infrastructure has a unique not managed maximal. Abstract

Gold is one asset because gold has a value that tends to be stable even will give advantage in time. Therefore some people make gold as a means to save.PT. Pegadaian (Persero) is one of the state-owned companies in Indonesia. The success of PT. Pegadaian can be seen from the many branches of each region in Indonesia and various product service programs that have been launched the PT. Pegadaian, one of which is gold saving. This program invites people to learn to invest where the investment is done by saving based on the provisions of at least Rp.5.000,00 then the customer has been getting gold.PT. Pegadaian (Persero) is usually synonymous with service to the community, especially the middle class down, therefore, the gold savings that issued PT. Pegadaian (Persero) is a program that is addressed to the lower middle class. However, over time and seen from the increasing number of customers saving gold, the gold savings developed into a program that is not only aimed at the middle class but also aimed at the general community. Until now, gold saving has been run throughout PT. Pegadaian Branch and Unit as in PT. Pegadaian Branch of Pekanbaru City Panam Riau Province.The results of this study explain that the increasing number of customers saving gold at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Pekanbaru Panam Branch, Riau Province, is due to the efforts of PT. Pegadaian in recruiting potential customers. One of the efforts and ways to do is to run a process of persuasive communication. The success of the persuasive process can be seen based on the characteristics of communicators PT. Pegadaian (Persero) in recruiting prospective customers, the form of persuasive message submitted by PT. Pegadaian (Persero) in recruiting potential customers and communication media used by PT. Abstract

This researchis a diplomaticc and strategy political study which describes UNMISS role in the release of child soldiers in South Sudan. This research will focus on how UNMISS resolving about child soldiers in South Sudan. This study interesting because describe about the UNMISS role in South Sudan.UNMISS must make the conflict in South Sudan is free from using child soldiers.This is qualitative research which used descriptive methods, and collecting datas from some resources like books,journals, official publications and relevant websites. This paper used the pluralism perspective and International Organization Theory from Clive Archer. The object in this research is UNMISSan main actor in International Relations.The results of this study indicate that UNMISS carried out several programs to reduce the use of child soldiers in South Sudan. UNMISS as a Communicator reports to the United Nations to be able to tighten applicable international law regarding the use of international law. Abstract

Tourism is one of the potential resources that can be developed by each region. Tourism is also a potential sector to become one of the sources of local revenue (PAD). South Solok Regency holds a lot of potential for natural, cultural and historical tourism. In recent years tourist objects in the South Solok Regency began to become one of the favorite destinations of the people in West Sumatra. The popularity of some of these tourist objects is inseparable from the efforts of the Department of Tourism and Culture of South Solok Regency in conducting promotional efforts to introduce the potential of the South Solok Regency. This study aims to explain the integrated marketing communication strategy carried out by the Department of Tourism and Culture of South Solok Regency in promoting regional tourism.This research uses a qualitative method with the type of descriptive research. The collection of informants in the study usingtechniques purposive with the number of research informants as many as seven (7) people. The informants in this study were five employees of the Department of Tourism and Culture of South Solok Regency and two visitors of one of the leading tourist attractions in South Solok Regency. Data collection techniques consist of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. An interactive data analysis technique for Miles and Huberman. To achieve the validity of the data in this study, the authors used an extension of participation and triangulation.The results of this study indicate that the Department of Tourism and Culture of South Solok Regency implemented an integrated marketing communication strategy as an effort to promote regional tourism. There are five promotional mixes used are as follows: (1) Advertising using print media, electronic media and outdoor media, (2) Sales Promotion is carried out by participating in exhibitions and conducting tourism events, (3) Personal Selling by cooperating with associations tourism and travel agents in offering tour packages, maximizing the role of guides, and making the Tourism Ambassador Uda as an icon of tourism as a liaison between the government and the community, (4) Social Media Marketing by using websites and social media as promotional media, (5) Public Relations & Publicity The Office of Tourism and Culture establishes good relations with stakeholders, the media and the community.

Abstract

Sales promotion that have the form of discount voucher or discount coupon is usually a discounted coupon distributed through advertising and can be used in certain stores only. Coupon guarantees certain savings on selected or selected products when it’s indicated as points on purchase. One of the discount vouchers is brosisdeal. Brosisdeal discount voucher contains discount from various merchants in Pekanbaru. This Brosisdeal discount voucher is promoted through social media instagram. Currently, instagram is the one of popular social media so the promotion of brosisdeal discount vouchercan lead to consumer purchasing decisions. The theory used in this research is S-R theory. The purpose of this research is to determine there is any influence sales promotion discount vouchers through social media brosisdeal’s instagram to consumer purchasing decisions at local merchants Pekanbaru.The method used is explanative quantitative using random sampling technique and the number of samples as much as 267 respondents. Researchers collected data with questionnaires. To find out there is any influence between variable X and variable Y, researcher use simple linear regression analysis. To process the test questionnaire data is done by using SPSS program Windows version 23.Based on the results of simple linear regression gets the value of regression coefficient in this research is Y = 12.884 + 0.495 X with a significance level of 0.000. Of course it’s smaller than α = 0.05. Its means that there is influence sales promotion vouchers discount through social media brosisdeal’s instagram to consumer purchasing decisions at local merchant Pekanbaru by 19% and classified as very weak category of influence. Although not dominant but respondents pay attention to the contents of the message delivered and purchase decisions arise.
